톡소포자충 감염마우스의 Cytokine 및 Heat shock protein 생산 분석

T. gondii frequently causes severe congenital defects and life-threatening disease in immunocompromised individuals. Cytokines. nitric oxide (NO) and heat shock proteins (HSP) are important to control the parasite multiplication and host resistance. However. there were only fen reports about HSP70 in toxoplasmosis. Moreover. we do not know the cytokines and HSP70 production in case of NO inhibition. Therefore. this study was performed to analyze the production of NO. HSP70 and cytokines after adminstration of aminoguanidine (AMG. suppressor of NO production) in mice infected with T. gondii. BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice were injected with either 5 brain cysts of Me49 strain of T. gondii or 50㎍ of AMG for 2 weeks every day. and then mice were sacrificed at day 4. 7. 14 and 28. HSP70 production in the brain and spleen of both mice strains mere decreased after treatment with AMG. however Toxoplasma-infected ones were significantly increased. HSP70 production of Infection/AMG-treated group of C57BL/7mice was significantly decreased in comparison to Infection group. Whereas Infection/AMG-treated group of BALB/c mice showed similar HSP70 production compared to Infection group. After T. gondii infection. the IFN-γ and TNF-α mRNA expression in the brain and spleen was significantly increased in BALB/c or C57BL/6 mice. IFN-γ mRNA expression in the brain and spleen of Infection/AMG-treated BALB/c mice were not significant differences compared to those of infected ones. however there were significant differences in the spleen of C57BL/6 mice. TNF-α mRNA expression in the spleen of Infection/AMG-treated BALB/c or C57BL/6 mice were significantly decreased in comparison to those of infected ones. Taken together. HSP70. IFN-γ and TNF-α production were significantly increased in Toxoplasma-infected BALB/c and C57L/6 mice. After treatment with NO inhibitor in infected C57BL/6 mice, the production of HSP70 and IFN-γ were significantly decreased. whereas BALB/c mice were not significant differences of HSP70 and IFN-γ production between Infection and Infection/AMG-treated group.

This study was carried out to investigate anti-inflammatory effects of collected mushroom in Korea. Anti- inflammatory effects analysis was followed by MTT test and nitric oxide inhibition activity. Thirty mushrooms were screened and twelve mushrooms were selected about MTT assay and three mushrooms were good at nitric oxide inhibition test. In our result, three mushrooms: Amanita virgineoides, Tylopilus neofelleus, Armillaria tabescens were good resource for anti-inflammatory effects and to be followed more research about relat.
태권도품새 지도자가 경험하는 그릿(Grit)의 의미와 수련에서의 활용 탐색

This study began with the aim of exploring the meaning of grit in games and training through five male and female leaders registered as Poomsae leaders of the Korea Taekwondo Association in 2023. Leaders were selected through regional arrangements from their 40s to 60s, and three results were finally drawn after a period of data collection during the three-month competition. First, it was the belief of Grit and the leaders that showed up with the passion, sincerity, and effort of the players. Second, it was found that grit was used as a method of psychological and functional training experienced by leaders. Third, it was the use, reality, and complementarity of Grit in training that appeared as experience.

신경교육종(gliosarcoma)은 종양성 신경교세포와 육종성 방추상 세포로 구성된 원발성 뇌종양으로 매우 드물게 발생한다.저자의 3예에서는 자기공명영상에서 악성 성상세포종의 소견으로 보이는 종양이 주로 뇌의 주변부에 위치하고 뇌경막과 접하거나 침범하고 있으면서,특히 T2 강조영상에서 악성 성상세포종보다 다소 낮은 신호강도를 보이는 경우 감별진단에 신경교육종이 포함되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. Gliosarcoma is a rare primary brain tumor composed of neoplastic glial cells and a sareomatous spindle-cell element. We report three cases of gliosarcoma, and describe their MR findings, which in many respects are very similar to those of malignant astrocytomas. Gliosarcomas are, however, more peripherally located, abutting and/or invading the dura mater, and at T2-weighted imaging their signal intensity is lower than is usually the case with malignant astrocyomas. Despite its rarity, the possibility of gliosarcoma should be considered when MR findings of this nature are apparent.
