회화적 렌더링에서 스트로크의 방향은 객체의 형태를 나타내는데 중요한 요소가 된다. 본 연구에서는 스트로크의 방향을 결정하기 위해 사용할 모션 정보 추출방법을 제안하고자 한다. 우리는 동영상 이미지로부터 모션의 방향, 크기 정보를 추출하고 이것을 기존의 그래디어트 정보와 통합한다. 통합된 최종 모션 정보는 객체의 사실적인 흐름을 표현가능하며 보는 사람에게 대상의 움직임을 효과적으로 인지할 수 있도록 하는 장점을 가진다.

유통서비스 업종에서의 작업장혁신에 관한 통합적 연구

본 연구는 유통서비스 업종에서의 작업장혁신과 관련하여 저원가 경쟁전략과 차별화 경쟁전략이 어떻게 나타나는지 살펴보고, 나아가 유통서비스 업체에서 고성과작업체계의 지향성을 갖는 작업장혁신 모델의 적용가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 질적 사례분석과 양적 통계분석을 평행하는 통합적 연구(triangulation)를 시도하였다. 질적 사례분석에서는 미국의 대표적인 유통업체 중에서 저원가경쟁전략을 강조하는 월마트와 차별화 경쟁전략을 강조하는 웨그먼스를 추출하여 다수사례 연구방법(multi-case study)을 적용하였다. 양적 통계분석에서는 유통서비스 업종에 속한 100인 이상 한국 기업체를 모집단으로 하여 245개의 기업을 표본추출하여 고성과작업체계의 실태에 대한 설문조사와 통계분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 질적 분석의 경우 월마트는 저원가 경쟁전략을, 웨그먼스는 차별화 경쟁전략을 중심으로 하고 있었으며 이로 인해 서로 상이한 작업장체계를 구축하고 있었다. 월마트는 저비용-저가격 전략과 프로세스 주도적 혁신을 통해 엄청난 성장을 거두었지만, 그 성공 뒤에는 저임금, 저숙련, 단순노동, 높은 이직률로 얼룩진 열악한 일자리가 지배적이었다. 반면 웨그먼스는 차별화 경쟁전략과 고성과작업체계를 통해 양호한 경영성과와 양질의 일자리라는 두 마리 토끼를 함께 잡고 있었다. 한편 양적 분석의 경우, 한국의 유통서비스업체에서도 차별화 경쟁전략과 고성과작업체계의 구성요소간의 외적 적합성이 나타나고 있었으며 나아가 고성과작업체계는 이직율을 부분적으로 매개하여 인당 매출액에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었다. The core of High Performance Work System(HPWS) is that work is organized to permit front-line workers to participate in decisions that alter organizational routines. So, the purpose of this study was to research the impact of HPWS on organizational performance by triangulation research method and to study the mediating effect of the turnover rate in Korean distributive service companies. A result of analysis was as follows. W-Mart case suggested that the low cost strategy resulted in the excellent management performance but was composed of the work system in which the working conditions W-Mart were inferior and made clear low-skilled, low-pay and high-turnover rate. But, WegmansFood Markets case was showing that the differentiation strategy was commensurate with HPWS and Wegmans Food Markets case was composed of the work system in which the working conditions were superior and made clear high-skilled, high-pay and low-turnover rate. The results of multiple regression analyses indicated that HPWS had a positive effect on turnover rate and per annual sales. The turnover rate partially mediated between HWPS and per annual sales.

CaCrO₄ 첨가에 따른 LCCC(La_0.8Ca_0.2Cr_0.9Co_0.1O_3-_δ)의 전이액상소결거동

In this study, in order to improve densification of $La_{0.8}Ca_{0.2}Cr_{0.9}Co_{0.1}O_{3-\delta}$ (LCCC), which is known for one of the most proper candidate interconnector materials in the solid oxide fuel cells, $CaCrO_4$ was prepared via solid oxide synthesis route and added to the LCCC with different amount and particle sizes. As the amount of the $CaCrO_4$ increased, porosity of the sintered samples increased, and the pore size was proportional to the particle size of the $CaCrO_4$. This supports the fact that the $CaCrO_4$ phase forms liquid during sintering and permeate into the matrix leaving behind large pores. Then the liquid reacts with the matrix through the solid solution. However, when the samples were sintered with a slow ramp up rates, the porosity decreased. This is thought to be caused by the progressive solid solution of $CaCrO_4$ before the temperature reach to the melting temperature and forms a fluent amount of liquids. The sintering behavior of the LCCC with the addition of $CaCrO_4$ was analyzed through the transient liquid phase sintering on the basis of the microstructure observation and phase identification by x-ray diffraction.

루마니아 신화에 내재된 민간신앙과 동방정교의 문화적 융합 양상

루마니아 땅에 보편 종교인 크리스트교가 전파된 것은 지금부터 약 2000여 년 전의 일이다. 예수의 12제자 중 한 명인 안드레이가 흑해변의 도브로제아(Dobrogea) 지방에서 예수의 복음을 전했다는 기록과 기념물이 이러한 사실을 증명한다. 하지만 크리스트교의 전래 역사가 오래 되었다고 해서 고대의 민간 신앙이나 그것과 연관된 다양한 민속 전통들까지 모두 배타적이고 독선적인 크리스트교의 종교체계 아래로 흡수되어 그 자취를 완전히 감추어 버린 것은 아니었다. 루마니아에서는 오히려 현재까지도 고대의 신앙과 풍습에서 비롯되었다고 추정되는 여러 속신, 미신 등의 민속 문화들이 원형에 가깝게 보존되고 있다. 이러한 이유는, 크리스트교가 초월적인 삶의 문제는 해결해 주었지만 현세적인 삶의 문제는 거의 해결해 주고 있지 못하기 때문이다. 크리스트교는 예수의 죽음과 부활을 통해 인간의 원죄를 대속할 것을 약속했고, 예수의 재림을 통해 인간에게 영생을 줄 것을 약속하는 등, 영적인 근본 문제들에 대해서 해결책을 제시하기는 했지만, 인간들이 현세에서 겪는 소소한 질병이나 수시로 변하는 육체적 불만, 기후의 변화에 따른 불안감 등을 해결하는 방안은 개인적인 기도 외에는 딱히 제시하지 못했다. 하지만 민간 신앙과 민속 의례들은 주술이라는 방법을 통해 소소한 질병들을 치유하거나 육체적 불만을 위무하는 가능성을 제시했고, 기우제나 희생제의 등을 통해 기후 변화에 따른 불안을 진정시키고 풍작에 대한 기대감을 높여주는 등의 기능을 수행하였다. 이러한 이유 때문에, 초월적이고 영적인 문제에 관여하는 보편 종교와 현세적이고 육체적인 문제에 관여하는 민속 신앙은 서로를 보완하면서 융합 될 수밖에 없었던 것이다. 루마니아 인들의 이와 같은 삶의 방식은 루마니아 각 지역에 흩어져 있는 신화들의 내용 속에서도 거의 그대로 반영되어 나타나고 있다. 즉, 신화들의 내용을 살펴보면 그 속에 보편 종교인 동방정교의 영향 뿐 아니라 민간 신앙의 영향이 강하게 융합되어 있음이 드러난다. 미르체아 엘리아데에 의하면 고대의 신화들은 사라진 것이 아니라 단지 그 모습만을 감추고 있기 때문에 보이지 않을 뿐이라고 한다. 신화는 중세 이후의 보편종교, 철학, 과학 등에 의해 철저하게 파괴되어 버린 듯 보이지만 실상은 그들의 뒤편에서 공존하고 있다는 것이다. 루마니아의 시골마을 사람들은 아주 오래전에 이미 기독교화 되었다고는 하지만, 고대로부터 이어온 전통들까지 모두 사라진 것은 아니다. 그들에게 기독교로의 개종은 종교 간의 공존과 융합을 가져다주었을 뿐이다. 일부 도시화된 곳에서는 크리스트교에 의해 고대의 신화와 이교도 신앙들은 모두 배척을 받은 것처럼 보이지만 실상 고대의 신들은 아직까지도 그 영향력을 발휘하고 있는 것이 사실이다. 루마니아의 예를 들자면, 불멸을 가르쳤던 다치아의 잘목시스는 영원한 생명과 구원을 약속한 예수로, 벤디스 여신은 성모 마리아로, 천둥과 번개의 신이었던 트라키아의 제벨레이지스는 성 엘리야로, 카발레룰 트락은 성 게오르게로, 동물들을 다스렸던 이름 모를 신은 성 베드로로 그 모습을 바꾸었다. 그러나 트라키아와 다치아의 신들은 크리스트교 성인들의 이름 뒤편에 숨었을 뿐이지, 아직까지도 그 힘을 고스란히 발산하고 있다. 루마니아의 거의 모든 문화 양식이 외면적으로는 크리스트교화 되었지만, 내면적으로는 고대의 민간 신앙을 계승한 신화-의례적인 민속들을 그대로 유지하고 있는 것은 이러한 이유 때문이다. One of the feature of Romanian culture is the special relationship between Orthodox doctrine and ancient myths. Although the dominant religion in Romania is the Orthodox and the introduction of Christianity in Romania was a long history, traditional believes derived from ancient paganism has not disappeared. As such, far from coinciding with the story in the Book of Genesis, the Romanian cosmogony is largely dualist in nature, depicting the Earth as the common opus of God and the Devil, imagined as counterparts of the sacred and the profane rather than in the biblical way. This cosmogony says that man’s desire is to give a purpose to every thing and being in order to gain full harmony. In Romania, the ancient gods have had Christian saints' names but their nature power, which is believed from ancient time, still inspire Romanian peasant's spirituality. For examples, Jesus replaced Zalmoxis in Dacia as the Savior, Elijah replaced Gebeleizis as god of the thunder and rain, Gheorghe replaced Cavalerul Trac as the god who expel evils, the Holy Mother Maria replaced Bendis in Trachea or Diana from Roma as goddess of management, Saint Peter replaced anonymous god for wild animals. Whereas in Southeastern Europe inclusive of Romania, Church has been imbued with so many cosmic symbols. The religious experience peculiar to the rural populations was nourished by what Mircea Eliade called, “Cosmic Christianity”. Cosmic Christianity is a peasant-centered religion with its array of cosmic liturgies and religious folklores. It is not a paganization of Christianity and is not expressed by a scholastic theology. It is a popular theology that is built on the meaning and significance of seasonal festivals and religious folklore, which reflect the life of the common folk. Thus, cosmic symbols of folkloric themes are passed on to the Church, which gave them sacramental meaning. Eliade explains Cosmic Christianity of the rural population in Romania as being dominated by 'nostalgia for a Nature sanctified by the presence of Jesus'. Romanian Cosmic Christianity is inherited ancient mythological thinking that god and nature and human being are in unity.

Epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (EMC) is a low grade malignant neoplasm that commonly occurs in the parotid gland. Recently, we investigated a case of EMC that occurred in the external auditory canal (EAC) in a 35-year-old male, and this tumor was initially diagnosed as pleomorphic adenoma. The difficulty associated with diagnosing EMC by aspiration cytology arises from both the rare incidence of this tumor and the overlapping spectrum of cytological features found in various salivary gland tumors, such as pleomorphic adenoma, basal cell adenoma and adenoid cystic carcinoma.

초고압 전력 케이블 접속 시스템을 위한 접속재의 최적화 해석

본 논문은 초고압 전력케이블의 접속재 개발을 위한 연구결과로써, 접속시스템의 핵심기술인 고절연고무슬리브 및 현장에서 접속 작업의 용이성을 위한 Carrier Pipe의 구조해석과 전기적 절연설계에 의한 주요부의 전기적 특성과 전계의 집중을 완화하기 위해 Simulation Tool을 이용한 수치해석 등을실시하여 최적화된 제품을 제작하였다. 절연설계 및 전계완화 해석에서는 고절연 고무슬리브 구조에서전계가 집중될 수 있는 중요 포인트를 벡터로 선정하였고 이를 기초로 전계해석을 진행하여 선정된포인트들에서 전계가 집중됨을 검증하였다. 접속재의 수축거동 해석에 의하면, Carrier Pipe의 구조적안전성을 확보하기 위하여 고절연 고무슬리브로부터의 압력을 구하여 계산한 결과 최소한 9mm이상의Carrier Pipe 두께가 필요한 것으로 파악 되었다. 이것은 충분한 강도뿐만 아니라 Carrier Pipe의 변형발생으로 인한 현장에서의 설치문제까지 고려하게 된 값이다. 고절연 고무슬리브 제품설계 에서는 고절연 고무슬리브의 특성조건을 설정하였고 고절연 고무슬리브 제품 및 Carrier Pipe의 Interface 설계기준을 파악하기 위하여 기존의 고절연 고무슬리브를 활용하여 Carrier Pipe와의 장착 Test를 진행하였다. 그 결과, 확장비율 110%로 적용하였을 경우는 30시간 후에는 완전 붕괴가 되었고, 붕괴가 시작되는 지점이 고절연 고무슬리브의 중앙매립전극 경계면으로써, Simulation Tool을 활용한 접속재 수축거동 해석 결과와도 일치함을 검증 할 수 있었다.

상수 공정시간을 갖는 라인 생산 시스템에서 CONWIP과 간반의 성능 비교

We compared a CONWIP(constant work-in-process) system with a kanban system in a production line with constant processing times. Based on the observation that a WIP-controlled line production system such as CONWIP and kanban is equivalent to a m-node tandem queue with finite buffer, we applied a max-plus algebra based solution method for the tandem queue to evaluate the performance of two systems. Numerical examples with 6 workstations were used to demonstrate the proposed analysis. The numerical results support the previous studies that CONWIP outperforms kanban in terms of expected waiting time and WIP. Unlike the kanban case, sequencing workstations in a CONWIP does not affect the performance of the system.
