        한국인 직무 스트레스 측정도구의 개발 및 표준화

        Background and Purposes: Over the past three decades, numerous studies performed in Korea have reported that job stress is a determinant risk factor for chronic diseases and work disability. Every society has its own culture and occupational climate particular to their organizations, and hence experiences different occupational stress. An occupational stress measurement tool therefore needs to be developed to estimate it objectively. The purpose of this study is to develop and standardize the Korean Occupational Stress Scale (KOSS) which is considered to be unique and specific occupational stressors in Korean employees. Subjects and Methods: Data were obtained from the National Study for Development and Standardization of Occupational Stress (NSDSOS Project: 2002-2004). A total of 12,631 employees from a nationwide sample proportional to the Korean Standard Industrial Classification and the Korean Standard Occupational Classification were administered. The KOSS was developed for 2 years (2002-2004). In the first year, we collected 255 items from the most popular job stress measurement tools such as JCQ, ERI, NIOSH and OSI, and 44 items derived from the a qualitative study (depth interview). Forty-three items of KOSS, in the second year, were retained for use in the final version of the KOSS by using Delphi and factor analysis. Items were scored using conventional 1-2-3-4 Likert scores for the response categories. Results: We developed eight subscales by using factor analysis and validation process: physical environment (3 items), job demand (8 items), insufficient job control (5 items), interpersonal conflict (4 items), job insecurity (6 items), organizational system (7 items), lack of reward (6 items), and occupational climate (4 items). Together they explained 50.0% of total variance. Internal consistency alpha scores were ranged from 0.51 to 0.82. Twenty-four items of the short form of the KOSS (KOSS-SF) were also developed to estimate job stress in the work setting. Because the levels of the subscales of occupational stress were gender dependent, gender-specific standard norms for both the 43-item full version and the 24-item short form using a quartile for the subscales of KOSS were presented. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that KOSS might be an appropriate measurement scale to estimate occupational stress of Korean employees. Further and more detailed study needs to be conducted to improve the validity of this scale.

      • 벡터제어를 이용한 표면형 영구자석 동기전동기의 최대효율제어

        In general, surface type permenent magent synchronous motor is controlled by the i_d=0 control method for producing maximum torque per ampere below the rated speed. And it is controlled by the field-weakening control method in order to expand the operating speed limits. However, these control methods do not consider the efficiency. So it is required to minimize the loss. This paper proposes a maximum efficiency control algorithm for surface type permanent magnet synchronous motors. The proposed maximum efficiency algorithm is derived from minimizing the core loss and copper loss. In this method the optimum d-axis current is supplied by the vector controller which solves the maximum efficiency control algorithm. From the computer simulation and experimental results. the improvement of the efficiency with the proposed control system was confirmed.

        This paper deals with the identification of the parameters of a smoothed hysteretic model (Bouc-Wen model) as well as the estimation of hysteretic histories of structural members, related to experimental seismic damage prediction of existing large structures, using the results of shaking table test. A method is proposed to estimate hysteretic histories of each structural members from measured response histories of the structure. These histories can be used to evaluate various kinds of damage indices. Secondly, the parameter estimation method is applied to construct the nonlinear mathematical model of these hysteresis. To demonstrate the proposed techniques, several numerical and experimental example analyses are carried out. The results indicate that the proposed method can be very useful to assess local seismic damages of structures.

        전자토모그래피의 정량적 분석에서 대물렌즈 조리개의 영향

        Electron tomography의 정량적 분석을 위해서 대물렌즈 조리개가 투과빔의 강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. Electron tomography에 도입되는 Beer’s law의 올바른 적용을 위해서는 투과빔은 시료의 기울기에 따른 mass thickness의 변화에 의한 효과만을 반영해야 한다. 그러므로 빔 경로상의 대물렌즈 조리개, 홀더 등에 의한 다른 효과는 제거되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 대물렌즈 조리개의 cut-off 효과를 120 kV TEM과 Quantifoil holey 카본 시료를 이용하여 상세히 평가하였다. 대물렌즈 조리개를 사용하지 않은 경우와 비교할 때, 30 μm 크기의 대물렌즈 조리개를 통과한 투과전자빔의 강도는 약 16.7%의 감소가 일어난다. 또한 55˚이상의 고경사각 기울기에서는 대물렌즈 조리개의 cut-off 효과에 의해 14.2%의 강도 감소가 추가적으로 발생함을 알 수 있었다. Electron tomography에서 정량적 분석을 위해서는 이러한 대물렌즈 조리개의 영향을 고려해야만 한다. 또한 Beer’s law의 올바른 적용을 위해서는 일련의 기울기에 따른 2차원적 영상은 가능하면 대물렌즈 조리개를 사용하지 않은 상태에서 획득하는 것이 바람직하다. We have evaluated the effects of experimental factors on transmitted electron beam intensities for quantitative analysis in electron tomography. For the correct application of Beer’s law in electron tomography, the transmitted beam intensity should reflect the net effect of mass properties on beam path. So, the any other effects of the objective aperture and the specimen holder on beam path should be removed. The cut-off effects of objective aperture were examined using Quantifoil holey carbon film and a transmission electron microscope operated at 120 kV. The transmitted beam intensities with 30 μm objective aperture dropped about 16.7% compared to electron beam intensities without the objective aperture. Also, the additional losses of about 14.2% at high tilt angles were occurred by cut-off effects of the objective apertures. For the precise quantitative analysis in electron tomography, the effect of the objective aperture on transmitted electron beam intensities should be considered. It is desirable that 2-D tilt series images are obtained without the objective aperture for correct application of Bee’s law.

        담낭 방선균증 1예

        저자들은 우상복부 통증과 소화불량을 주소로 내원한 83세 여자 환자에서 국내 최초로 담낭 방선균증을 진단하고 치료 관찰 중으로 이에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative and granulomatous disease, characterized by abscess formation, tissue fibrosis, and draining sinuses. Actinomycosis of the gallbladder is very rare and has not yet been reported in Korea. We report a case of actinomycosis of the gallbladder in an 80-year-old women with history of cholelithiasis for 3 years, preoperatively misidentified as gallbladder cancer. Histologic section of the gallbladder showed Gram-positive branching bacilli compatible with actinomyces. After cholecystectomy, the patient received intravenous ampicillin for 4 days, followed by amoxicillin for 4 months thereafter.

        The future society is expected to be rapidly change in all areas, that is, the length of change time is becoming much smaller than that of generation time. It is very important to prepare the citizens who possess scientific literacy which actively cope with the rapid changes and specialization of society. The sources of rapid changes may be due to the developments in science and technology. Therefore, the importance of science education will be increasingly high. Scientific literacy should be improved basically and systematically from the early stages of formal education. Teachers who are responsible to educate children should be able to research in the areas of science education as well as science itself, and to have capacity to transmit them to the classroom. To do this, the graduate course and the science education within the system beyond the level of college education are essential parts of teacher education. In the graduate course, it is important that science itself and pedagogy of science should be balanced.

        In structural health monitoring, the identification of modal properties can be one of the important issues. However, the identifiability of modal parameter hasn't been usually checked before the installation of hardware. In this paper, the identifiability of modal parameter particularly for the real existing curved bridge was investigated. The results show that curved bridges are very sensitive to the way to be modelled and usual number of measurements are not enough for the curve bridge.

      • 폐굴껍질을 산성토양 적용시 토양의 화학적 특성변화에 관한 기초 연구

        Oyster shell has caused environmental problems in the coast. But it is possible to be used as an acidic soil amendment because it is the alkalic material of pH 9.0. In order to evaluate the utility of the crushed oyster shell as a soil amendment, acidic sandy loam soil was amended with it and then Chinese cabbages were cultivated in pots. The amount of the oyster shell was ⅰ)none, ⅱ)0.5kg/㎥, ⅲ)1.0kg/㎥, ⅳ)1.5kg/㎥, ⅴ)2.0kg/㎥ and ⅵ)2.3kg/㎥. The particle size of oyster shell consists of 34.88% of 40∼100mesh and 14.98% of larger than 100 mesh. It increased pH and the contents of available P₂O_(5) and SiO₂ and exchangeable Ca in used soil The application of oyster shell also increased the height and diameter of Chinese cabbages.

      • 정상여성에서 월경주기에 따른 갑상선 부피의 변동에 관한 연구

        Previous studies demonstrated that the thyroid gland volume was altered during the menstrual cycle in normal women, but the mechanism has not been clarified. To investigate the role of thyroid hormone and ovarian steroid hormones in the cyclic alteration of the thyroid volume in normal women, we performed a compound ultrasonogram and measured thyroid volume with the method based on the electronic planimetry of a sequential transverse ultrasound scans of the thyroid and performed serial measurements of thyroid and ovarian steroid hormones in 8 normal women during the cycles and 8 normal men. Thyroid volume in men was greater than that in women (18.6±1.6 ㎤ vs. 11.7±1.2 ㎤, P<0.05), but the ratio of thyroid volume to body weight showed no significant difference. Serial thyroid volume measurements showed no significant changes in men. However, in women, significant increases on day 22 compared with day 1 and 8. Serum T_(3), T_(4) and TSH levels were not changed significantly during the cycle in women. Serum progesterone levels increased on day 22, compared with on day 1, 8 and serum estradiol levels elevated on day 15 and 22, compared with on day 8 (p<0.05). Positive correlation was found between serum progesterone concentration and thyroid volume (r=0.45, p<0.01), while no significant correlation was found between serum estradiol level and thyroid volume. These data suggest that progesterone might play a role in the cyclic alteration of the thyroid volume during the menstrual cycle in women, probably by changing the vascularity of the thyroid.
