      • p-형 Si(100) 기판 위에 성장시킨 Bi_(3.25)La_(0.75)Ti₃O_(12) (BLT) 박막의 전기적 특성

        Bi₃zsLa(0.75)Ti₃0_(12) (BLT) thin film have been grown on p-type Si(l00) substrates by a sol-gel spin coating process. The structure and surface morphology of the film were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEMI. Furthermore, the electrical properties were examined by capacitance-voltage ( C-V) characteristics by using a LF Impedance Analyzer(HP 4192A). XRD measurement show layered perovskite structure with a single phase in BLT thin film annealed at 700C for 30 min in oxygen. The measured grain size of BLT on Si is about 0.04 - 0.1 pn. From the cross-sectional SEM image, BLT film thickness is measured to be 0.4 pm. The C-V characteristic hysteresis curves show that the NIFS (metal-fexroelectric-semiconductor) structure has memory effect. The memory window decreases, with increasing frequency at MFS structure. And it is found that the memory window increases as the applied voltage to the ferroelectric capacitor is increased. These phenomena may be due to polarization reversals of the BLT ferroelectric film and because of the charge injection from Si substrate into the ferroelectric thin film. The results obtained indicate that the present BLT films are suitable for making ferroelectric field effect transistor(FeFET) memory.

        만성 간장 질환자에서 뇌 MRI 상의 pallidal index와 생물학적 망간지표들 간의 관련성

        목적 : 만성 간장 질환자를 대상으로 T1강조 자기공명영상(MRI)에서 나타나는 담창구 부위의 고신호강도 소견(pallidal index, PI)과 생물학적 망간 지표들 간의 관련성을 알아본다. 방법 : B형간염 바이러스에 의한 간경변증으로 진단 받은 40세 이상의 환자 31명과 정상 대조군 10명을 대상으로 설문조사와 혈액 및 소변검사, 뇌 MRI를 시행하였다. 전체 41명 가운데 검사 전 수혈을 받았던 환자군 9명을 제외하고 전체 32명의 자료를 분석하였다. 망간 축적에 관련된 객관적 지표로서 T1 강조 MRI에서 나타나는 담창구 부위의 고신호강도를 전두부 백색질 신호강도로 나눈 수에 100을 곱하여 구한 PI를 택하였다. 환자군과 대조군 사이의 PI와 망간농도들의 평균을 비교하였다. 여러 변수들과 PI와의 상관성을 보기 위해서는 상관분석을 시행하였다. 결과 : 간장 질환자 22명 가운데 18명(81.8%)에서 뇌 MRI 상 고신호강도가 나타났다. 대조군 10명에서는 아무도 MRI 소견상 고신호강도가 나타나지 않았다. 간장 질환자에서의 평균 PI는 122.62로 대조군의 106.23보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<0.01). 간장 질환자의 전혈에서 망간농도는 2.34㎍/㎗으로 대조군의 1.44㎍/㎗와 비교하여 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 혈장과 소변 내 망간농도는 대조군에서 다소 높게 나타났으나, 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 또한 혈색소, 빌리루빈, AST가 대조군과 환자군 사이에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). 전혈(p=0.489, P<0.01, n=29)과 적혈구(p=0.573, P<0.01, n=22) 내 망간농도와 PI 사이에는 각각 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 그러나 혈장과 소변 내 망간 농도와 PI와의 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 총빌리루빈 또한 PI와 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다(p=0.509, P<0.01, n=32). 결론 : 전혈 또는 적혈구 내의 망간 농도가 뇌 내 망간 침착으로 인한 T1 강조 MRI상 담창구 부위의 고신호 강도를 잘 반영하는 유용한 지표이다. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to clarify which biological manganese exposure indices reflect the pallidal signal intensities in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in liver cirrhotics. Methods: We examined whole blood, plasma, RBC and urinary manganese concentrations, as well as, brain MRI in 22 cirrhotic patients and 10 healthy controls. From MRI scans we calculated the signal intensity of the globus pallidus using the pallidal index (PI), the ratio of the globus pallidus to subcortical frontal white-matter signal intensity in axial T1 -weighted MRl planes multiplied by 100. In addition, we studied the relationships between PI and other measurements. Results: The high signal intensity in the globus pallidus on T1-weighted MRI was observed in 18 (81.8%) patients. There was a significant correlation between whole blood and RBC manganese concentration, and PI on MRI. According to multiple linear regression, whole blood and RBC manganese concentration reflected PI on MRI better the other indices did. Conclusions: Whole blood and RBC manganese concentrations could be useful as biological manganese exposure indices that reflect PI on MRI.

      • 뇌졸중 환자와 보호자의 도수치료에 대한 시간 만족도에 대한 조사

        The purpose of this study is to figure out the satisfaction of time management regarding manual therapy such as neurodevelopmental treatment(NDT), proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF), and mat exercise, etc. among hemiplegic patients and their guardians. Untill from May to June, 2001, the quantitative satisfaction of time management was investigated by regarding the consumer as the patients and guardians at four general hospitals settings and one geriatric setting. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Among the subjects, the number of guardians that answered was 59 subjects (62.77%) and the percentage was the highest. The number of the age between 50 and 59 was 52subjects(55.32%) and the number of man was 53subjects(56.38%) and the percentage was slightly high. 2. The number of the subjects whom answered that the physical therapy using thermotherapy and electrotherapy was effective was only 4subjects (4.26%) and that of the subjects whom answered that general manual therapy such as NDT, mat exercise, and PNF was effective was 74subjects(78.72%) and the percentage was the highest. 3. The time of manual therapy that the subjects thought about was less than between 15 and 20min and the number of the subjects answered so was 28subjects(29.79%) and the percentage was the highest. The number of subjects whom answered that the time was not enough was 46subjects(48.94%) and that showed the high rate. 4. The patients that was treated with manual therapy per one physical therapist during one day were 18 subjects(51.43%) and the number was slightly less. The number of subjects that physical therapist treated during one day was between 20 and 30subjects. The number of them was 28(29.79%) and the percentage showed the significant rate. Currently the time that physical therapist performed manual therapy was between 20 and 25min, but the appropriate time that the therapist thought for the patient was less than the time between 30 and 35min. The number of subjects that thought so was 17subjects(48.57%) and it slightly showed the high rate.

      • Public interest about acne on the internet: Comparison of search information on Google trends and Naver

        Background: Acne is a common skin disease primarily affecting young adults. Given that internet has become a major source of health information especially among the young, internet has a significant influence on patients. Objectives: To clarify the features of patients’ interest and to evaluate the quality of information about acne on internet. Methods: We compared the search volumes in acne with those of other dermatologic diseases using Google Trends from Jan 2004 to Aug 2019. We also figured out the search volumes for relevant keywords of acne on Google and Naver, evaluating the quality of answers to the queries in KnowledgeiN. Results: The regression analyses of Google Trends data demonstrated that the patients’ interest of acne was higher than that of other dermatologic diseases such as atopic dermatitis(β=-20.33, p<0.05) and urticaria(β=-27.09, p<0.05) and has increased yearly(β=2.38, p<0.05), also there was difference between summer and spring(β =-5.04, p<0.05) and between weekend and weekdays(β =-6.68, p<0.05). The most frequently searched relevant keywords were Food, Hormone, Laser in Naver whereas Cosmetics, Food, Laser in Google in order. Among food, Milk and Wheat in Naver and Coffee and Ramen were the two highest acne-related keywords in Google. The queries in KnowledgeiN were mostly answered by public(66%), whereas only 17% by dermatologists. Conclusion: Physicians should be aware of patients’ interest and belief on acne to provide best education and care both online and in clinic.

        Antifungal and Anticancer Activities of a Protein from the Mushroom Cordyceps militaris

        The mushroom Cordyceps militaris has been used for a long time in eastern Asia as a nutraceutical and in traditional Chinese medicine as a treatment for cancer patients. In the present study, a cytotoxic antifungal protease was purified from the dried fruiting bodies of C. militaris using anion-exchange chromatography on a DEAE-Sepharose column. Electrophoretic analyses indicated that this protein, designated C. militaris protein(CMP), has a molecular mass of 12 kDa and a pI of 5.1. The optimum conditions for protease activity were a temperature of $37^{\circ}C$ and pH of $7.0{\sim}9.0$. The enzyme activity was specifically inhibited by the serine protease inhibitor phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride. Amino acid composition of intact CMP and amino acid sequences of three major peptides from a tryptic digest of CMP were determined. CMP exerted strong antifungal effect against the growth of the fungus Fusarium oxysporum, and exhibited cytotoxicity against human breast and bladder cancer cells. These results indicate that C. militaris represents a source of a novel protein that might be applied in diverse biological and medicinal applications.

      • The effects of green tea on acne vulgaris: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials

        Background: Green tea extract (GTE) has been studied for the treatment of acne based on its anti-inflammatory/ antioxidant properties. Objectives: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to examine the effects of GTE on acne. Methods: Electronic databases, including PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were systematically searched up to August 2019. Results: The effect size of acne lesion counts is presented as mean differences and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Five randomized-controlled studies were included in the meta-analysis (N; experimental=125, control=122). GTE significantly reduced the number of inflammatory lesions (-9.38; 95% CI: -14.13 to -4.63). In subgroup analysis, topical GTE application significantly reduced the inflammatory lesion counts (-11.39; 95% CI: -15.91 to -6.86) whereas oral GTE intake showed minimal effect (-1.40; 95% CI: -2.50 to -0.30). Although GTE did not significantly reduce the number of non-inflammatory lesions (-21.65; 95% CI: -47.52 to 4.22), when stratified by the route of admission, non-inflammatory acne lesions were significantly reduced by topical GTE application (-32.44; 95% CI: -39.27 to -25.62) but not with oral GTE administration (0.20; 95% CI: 0.00 to 0.40). Conclusion: This systematic review and meta-analysis suggest that topical GTE application is beneficial for the treatment of acne without causing significant adverse events while oral GTE intake has limited effects. Further high-quality clinical trials are warranted.

      • 스마트 그리드 수용가 시뮬레이션을 위한 패턴 생성기

        스마트그리드 환경에서 수용가의 참여를 통한 계통의 안정적인 운영은 핵심 서비스의 하나이다. 따라서, 정확한 수용가 부하 모델의 생성과 외부 신호에 반응할 수 있는 체계를 갖추는 것은 스마트그리드 시뮬레이션과 해석을 위한 필수적 요소로 간주된다. 기존의 수용가 모델은 단순 모델이나 임의 모델에 기반 하여 설계되거나, 복잡도를 가지더라도 제한적인 규모로 구현되는 것이 일반적이다. 본 연구에서는 스마트그리드의 보다 세밀한 동작 특성을 해석하기 위한 수용가 패턴 시뮬레이션 모델의 구축을 위하여 국내 수용가의 전기소비와 가전기기 보급 등의 통계 정보에 기반 하여 수용가를 모델링하고, 각각의 주요 기기들의 동작 패턴을 생성하여 실환경을 모사하는 방법을 제시하고 구현하였다.
