      • 고체윤활제용 MoS₂박막의 스퍼터조건에 따른 미세구조에 관한 연구

        The nucleation and microstructure of DC & RF sputtered MoS₂thin film on glass, Si wafer, stainless steel, and Al foil have been studied. The grain size was increased with the substrate temperature(R.T.∼300℃)and working pressure(3∼20mtorr). Cracks were initiated at the surface and propagated to interior of MoS₂thin film due to compressive stress above critical thickness(about 2,000nm). (100) was dominated at R.T. and (002) was observed at 150℃ and 300℃ implicating that the predetermined grain growth was perpendical to the substrate. The coarse grain and worm-like grain growth was observed by SEM from R.T. to 300℃ at 10mtorr.

        This study was performed to investigate the chewing movements in subjects with unilateral chewing habit. 42 patients with temporomandibular disorders and 44 dental students without any signs and symptoms of the temporomandibular disorders were selected as the patients group and the control group, respectively. BioEGN of the Biopak (BioResearch Inc. USA) was used to record chewing movements pattern as to chewing velocity, range of movements and symmetry of the path to midline. The data were analyzed by the preferred chewing side and/or the affected side by SAS/stat program. The results obtained were as follows : 1. In control group, right side chewing subjects showed more deflected path to preferred chewing side than left side chewing subjects have done. But in patients group, there was no significant difference in chewing pattern between the two subjects. 2. In unilaterally affected patients, right side affected patients showed slight difference between the movements to both sides, but left side affected patients showed significant deflection to the affected side. 3. There were some difference in preferred chewing side movement pattern between the patients group and the control group in right chewing subjects whereas no difference was seen between the two groups in left chewing subjects. 4. There was no difference in chewing velocity and range of movements between right and left side movement in all cases compared by preferred chewing side or affected side.

        소아에서 나타난 비구개관낭의 치험례

        The nasopalatine duct cyst is the most common non-odontogenic cyst in the oral area and is thought to be originated from the epithelial remnants of the nasopalatine duct. The nasopalatine duct cyst have been mentioned to be an overall incidence of 1.7-11.9% of all jaw cyst. More males than females are affected by that. It could occur all around the age, and especially in their 40th and 60th it happens the most and in childhood it is very rare. Proper treatment for nasopalatine duct cyst is enucleation. In the case of very large cysts, it is likely to be a risk of naso-oral or antral-oral fistulas or of devitalization of teeth, marsupialization is indicated. The purpose of case report is that a nasopalatine duct cyst in is very rare in childhood. A 9-year-old boy was referred to the chosun university pedodontics clinic that this child who has anterior palatal swelling is in routine check. The size of the cyst was so big that the marsupialization was committed and obturator was put. This patient is on the continuous observation. we treated the nasopalatine duct cyst with obturator.

        Cellulolytic enzymes were prepared from alkaline resistant microorganisms which were newly screened from calcic soil. Characteristics of enzymes and enzymatic deinking efficiency of wastepaper were investigated. The results were summarized as fellows: 1. The recovery rate of crude enzyme was 93.7% in Bio-B and 57.4% in Bio-F. 2. The protein content in crude enzymes was lowest and the thermal stability of crude enzymes was highest in Bio-F. 3. The brightness gain of Bio-F deinked pulp was best in ONP and Bio-B deinked pulp was best in MOW. 4. The reject yield was increased with enzymatic deinking flotation process. 5. The residual ink area of paper was increased with enzymatic deinking and large size of ink particles were remained in paper.

        This study was undertaken to determine the value of gadolinium dimeglumine (Gd-DTPA) enhanced MRI in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction. Seven cats were subjected to 2 hours of left anterior descending coronary arteryocclusion (group 1) and 8 cats to 1 hour of occlusion (group 2). Reperfusion was followed by taking Tl-weighted MR images at 5, 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes after Gd-DTPA (0.2 mmol/kg) injection. Myocardial enhancement patterns were categorized into three zones (central ischemic, peripheral ischemic, and normal) or two zones (ischemic and normal) and the presence of injured myocardium in each zone was confirmed by 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining. Signal intensity (SI) of each zone was evaluated relative to back muscle in regard to its chronological changes and difference among the zones. Group 1 displayed three zones of enhancement in 6 cats whereas 1 cat in group 1 and all in group 2 showed two zones of enhancement. Intermediate SI central zone was compatible but smaller than TTC nonstained area, and determined to be a persistently occlusive injury. High SI peripheral zone in group 1 and high SI ischemic zone in group 2 were stained and determined as reperfused injury although reversibility was not definite. The peak SI, occurring 15 minutes after Gd-DTPA injection, of 2.47±0.48 at peripheral zone was greater than that of 1.66±0.36 at central zone in group 1 and of 1.81±0.41 at ischemic zone in group 2 (p < 0.05). SI of injured myocardium increased more rapidly and decreased more gradually than that of normal myocardium. That the features of SI change with time in injured myocardium was compatible with the results of other studies using different contrast agents. Gd-DTPA enhanced MRI differentiated persistently occlusive injury as central intermediate SI, and reperfused injury as homogenous high SI, with the maximal contrast between the two at 15 minutes after contrast injection, thus indicating the value of Gd-DTPA enhanced MRI in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.

        We, Kyung-hee University in Suwon has planned to build an open-air theater behind the building of natural science, and feel the need of creating places for cultural life and recreation. As the origin aim of this construction and landscape, university students can use this facilities and place for their daily relaxation and cultivation of emotion, and they also can utilize them for places of their meetings and events. Concerning the following completion of the UN Peace Park, our theater and the surrounding places will expectingly play important roles for the park because the open-air No-cheon theater is included in the full site of the UN Peace park. The focused elements of this basic plan are maintaining the basic plan of the UN Peace Park, forming the visually creative background, of the open-air theater cultural and recreational places, balancing and integrating human, nature, and the useful facilities.

        This paper addresses a hybrid control architecture for the hospital service robot. Smart Worker. In hybrid architecture. the deliberation takes place at planning layer while the reaction is dealt through the parallel execution of operations. Hence. the system presents both a hierarchical and an heterarchical decomposition. being able to show a predictable response while keeping rapid reactivity to the dynamic environment. In order to model the control behavior of this controller. this paper also proposes MuLOM( Muti-Layered Operation Model ). Moreover, through simulation under a virtual environment IGRIP. the effectiveness of hybrid architecture and MuLOM is verified.

      • 흰쥐에서의 Puromycin Aminonucleoside-유발 단백뇨에 대한 선택적 Thromboxane A₂수용체길항제, KT2-962의 효과

        The administration of puromycin aminonucleoside(PAN) to rats caused to nephrotic syndrome which characterized ascites, proteinurisa, hypoalbuminemia, and hyperlipidemia similar to those observed in human minimal change disease. Recently, several studies indicate that renal endogenous thromboxane(Tx) A₂may have an important role in pathophysiology of various renal disease. In this sutdy, we hafve examined the protective effct of a selective TxA₂receptor antagonist, KT2-962(KT2) on PAN-induced proteinuria in rats. Thus, male Wistar rats were given either daily subsutaneous injection of PAN, 20mg/kg, for 10 consecutive days from 3 days before to 7 days with PAN treatment. Urine was collectd, and body weight was measured in interval of 2 days during 2 weeks and urinary N-acetyl-β-Dglucosaminidase(NAG) activity as an index of renal tubular cell damage and urine protein were measured. In addition to measuring BUN, serum creatinine and creatinine clearance were measured to assess the degree of renal functional damage in 14th day. The results(Means SE) otained can be summarized as follows: 1)Body weight(gm) was progressively increased and gained about 46.4gm and 39.2gm on 2 weeks of treatment in the control and KT2 groups respectively. In constrast, there was weight loss about 27.4gm in the PAN group. But, it was increased about 23.2 gm in KT2+PAN grou and means that KT2 has significantly(p<0.05) suppressed weight loss by PAN. 2)Urine flow (ml/24 hours) was slightly increased in both control and KT2 groups during 2 weeks. But, it was significantly(p<0.05) increased after 7th groups during 2 weeks. But, it was significantly(p<0.05) increased after 7th day. But, concurrent administration of KT2 significantly(P<0.05) suppressed PAN-induced polyuria in KT2+PAN group. 3)Urinary protein(mg/24 hours0 was slightly increased in both control and KT2 groups. But, it was progressively increased and reached at the maximal level, 3.2 folds of initial level to 11th day and thereafter slightly reduced proteinuria to 14th day in the PAN group. In contrast, KT2 cotreatment with PAN was significantly(P<0.05) suppressed PAN-induced proteinuria in the KT2+PAN group. 4)Urinary NAG activity was markedly increased and reached to maximal level, 122.03 18.53 U/mg of urine creatinine, 12.7 folds of initial by day 9 and thenafter progressively decreased to 5.4 folds of initial level by day 14 in the PAN group. But, when KT2 was administered with PAN, it was significantly depressed its increment to day 13. But, it was reached to maximal level, 99.05 42.55, 12.7 folds of inital level much than PAN group. This result indicated that KT2 had a partial preventive effect on PAn-induced renal tubular cell damage. 5)The BUN and serum creatinine level(mg/dl) were significantly(p<0.05) increased from initial level, 18.48 1.28 and 0.50 0.03 to 118.42 41.34 and 1.66 0.27 respectively, and creatinine clearance(ml/min) was significantly(P<0.05) decreased from initial level, 0.44 0.02 to 0.28 0.07 by day 14 by PAN treatment. But, when PAN was given together with KT2, the increment of BUN and serum creatinine except for creatinine clearance were significantly(P<0.05) inhibited in the KT2+PAN group. Based on all these results obtained in this study, it is concluded that the coadministration of KT2-962 with PAN can be ingibited protein excretion in urine and suggested that endogenous TxA₂would take part in PAN-induced proteinuria in rats.

        Educational facilities and other school buildings are generally planned and designed by the district educational office. For this reason, actual users, students, teachers and regional residents are excluded at the acquisition stage (Planning, design, and construction) of the new school building. As a result, this research identifies 'participants' needs for the multi-purpose auditorium from each stakeholder involved in designing, constructing, maintaining and using it. The research was conducted by adopting the Multi-Phase Quality Evaluation (MPQE) tool kit which is able to integrate building needs from designers, students and teachers, regional residents, the principal and the facility manager of the school. This research focuses on multi-purpose auditoriums from elementary to high school in Gumi-City
