        미주근속의 비후에 의한 선천성 우심실 양분증

        The“Two-chambered right ventricle”is a rare, but unique congenital cardiac anomaly characterized by subdivision of the right ventricle into proximal high pressure chamber and distal low pressure chamber by hypertorphied aberrant muscle bundles. The aberrant muscle bundles traverse the right ventricle from the region of crista supraventricularis to the lower part of the anterior wall of the right ventricle. The“Two-chambered right ventricle”is usually associated with other congenital cardiac anomalies such as ventricular septal defect, pulmonary valvular stenosis, etc. Therefore this anomaly could be mistakenly diagnosed as Tetralogy of Fallot or isolated interventricular septal defect. The need to separate this entity from other types of infundibular stenosis is emphasized because of the important surgical implication. Authors recently experienced a case of“Two-chambered right ventricle”resulting from aberrant muscle bundles, that are associated with other cardiac anomal es i.e., pulmonary valvular stenosis, a/splastic tricuspid valve with regrugitation and partial anomalous pulmonary venous return to the right atrium. Here were present the findings of E.K.G., cardiac catheterization, simple chest PA, cine-right ventriculography, and autopsy together with a review of related articles.

        PolypyrroleIMWCNT-g-PSSA 복합체의 전기적 특성

        Poly(styrene sulfonic acid) (PSSA) was grafted onto the surface of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) using radical polymerization to assist the dispersion of MWCNTs before the polymerization of pyrrole. MWCNT-g-PSSA exhibited a higher dispersity in an aqueous solution compared with conventionally used carboxylated MWCNTs (c-MWCNTs), therefore, this composite acts as an excellent template for the high polymerization yield ofPolypyrrole (PPy). The measured polymerization yield was 95.5%, and its value was higher than that of PPy/c-MWCNT (61.8%). Consequently, the conductivity of the PPyIMWCNT-g-PSSA composite reached 124 S/cm, and this value was also higher than that of the PPy/c-MWCNT composite (48 S/cm) or PPylMWCNT doped with PSSA (91 S/cm). p-Toluenesulfonic acid (TSA)IHCI was selected as an additional dopant mixture to improve the electrical properties of the composite. As a result, the conductivity value of the composite improved to approximately 152 S/cm. The electrochemical and thermal stability were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry and environmental stability testing. Overall, PPy/MWCNT-g-PSSA had good electrical and mechanical properties that are desired for materials of various electric devices.

        사출성형용 Stellite미분말의 소결 치밀화에 관한 연구

        The densification of the compacts of Co+32%Cr+20%W+l.5%C, Co+32%Cr+20%W+3.0%C and Co+32%Cr+20%W+4.5%C sintered under $H_2$ gas or vacuum was investigated. The effect of V and B addition on the densification was also investigated. The densification of these compacts were always incomplete regardless of sintering atmosphere, temperature and time. The amounts of oxygen and carbon in compacts sintered in $H_2$ for 3.6ks at 1523K were 0.105~0.160 mass% and 0.33~0.89 mass%, respectively. And those in vacuum were 0.028~0.032% and 0.957~4.08%, respectively. Relative density(Ds) of Co+29%Cr+17%W+3.0%C compact containing 6%V and Co+32%Cr+20%W+2.97%C compact containing 0.03%B were 99 and 100%, respectively, indicating complete densification by solid phase sintering. Victors hardness of sintered compacts containing 6%V or 0.03%B were 632 and 568, showing 50~60% increase in comparison to those without V or B. These results can be explained in terms of oxidation/reduction of oxides and equilibrium pressure of CO in isolated pore, instead of presence of liquid formation and grain boundary separation from pores due to large grain growth.

      • 소결 고속도 공구강의 내마모 특성

        Rolling die 크기를 변화시켜 제작한 소결체 및 합금 조성을 변화시켜 제작한 고속도 공구강 소결체에 대하여 마모 실험, 고온경도 실험 등을 실시한 결과, 소결체의 마모는 abrasive wear로 일어나며 재료의 경도값이 마모율을 결정하는 주 인자가 된다고 생각한다.

      • 맥반석 분말의 특성에 관한 연구

        맥반석 분말의 특성을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. (1) 맥반석 분말입자의 형상은 구형에 가깝고 작은 입자가 뭉쳐 하나의 입자를 형성하고 있었다. (2) 맥반석 분말에 대하여 입자 크기 및 입도 분 포 분석을 실시한 결과 평균 입자 크기는 1.98㎛으로 나타났고 분말의 입도 분포는 편차 없이 균일하였다. (3) 분말의 구성 원소 분석을 실시한 결과, O, Si, Fe, Ca, K의 량은 각각 58.75%, 20.65%, 12.22%, 5.41%, 2.97%로 나타났다. 각 구성 원소의 량으로부터 구성 산화물을 정성적으로 예측해 보면 주성분으로 Si산화물(SiO_(2))이 약 70%정도 존재하고, 그 외의 성분으로는 Fe산화물(Fe_(2)O_(3)), Ca산화물(CaCO_(3), CaO), K산화물(K_(2)O)로 구성되어 있다고 말할 수 있다. (4) 분말의 pH값은 11.79로 나타나 중성을 강한 알칼리성으로 변화 시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. (5) 원적외선은 가열온도 270℃이상에서 90%이상의 방출율을 나타내었다. (6) 흡착시험의 결과, 650℃에서 1hr 탄화를 거친 후의 맥반석 분말의 비표면적은 3~9㎡/g로 측정되었고, KOH로 150 및 300wt%로 침적시켜(850℃에서 2시간 소결) 활성화 시켰을 때 흡착값은 50~75㎡/g를 나타내어 흡착율은 매우 우수한 것을 알 수 있었다. (7) 맥반석 분말에 대하여 진탕 배양법에 의한 항균능력을 시험한 결과, 대장균 및 포도상구균에 대하여 맥반석 분말을 5%의 농도로 첨가하였을 경우에 세균의 감소율은 99.9%이상을 나타내어, 탁월한 항균 효과를 나타내었다. The results of analysis of the characteristics of Mack ban suck powder are as follow, (1) Mack ban suck powder particles were almost spherically shaped in appearance, and one can see that small particles lumped together to from larger particles. (2) Analysis of the size distribution of Mack ban suck powder particles confirmed that the average size was 1.98㎛ and they were uniform in size without deviation. (3) Analysis of constitution of Mack ban suck powder revealed that the quantity of oxygen(O), silicon(Si), iron(Fe), calcium(Ca) and potassium(K) were respectively 58.75%, 20.65%, 12.22%, 5.41% and 2.97%. Qualitative estimation of containing oxidized compounds from the amount of each element showed that the main oxidized compound was silicon dioxide(SiO_(2)), constituting approximately 70% of total oxides and there also were iron oxides(Fe_(2)O_(3)), calcium oxides(CaCO_(3), CaO) and potassium oxides(K_(2)O). (4) The pH of the powder was 11.79, showing that it was changed from neutral to strong alkaline in nature. (5) Distant infrared rays showed an emission percentage of more than 90% under heating temperature above 270℃. (6) Adsorption tests showed that the surface of Mack ban suck powder after carbonation for 1 hour in 650℃ was 3~9㎡/g and the adsorption value after activation by 150 and 300wt% using KOH(850℃, 2 hour) was 50~-75㎡/g, thus evidencing its superior adsorption percentage. (7) Mack ban suck powder was tested for its antibacterial activity by shake culturing. And it was found that more then 99.9% of escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus bacteria were decreased when Mack ban suck powder was added to a concentration of 5%.

      • 철계 소결체의 피삭성에 관한 연구

        철계 소결체에 피삭성을 향상시키는 다양한 원소들을 Fe+0.7%C 소결체에 첨가하여 실험한 결과, 0.15%SiO_(2)+0.15%MgO을 Fe+0.7%C 소결체에 첨가하여 소결 한 후 증기처리 한 소결체가 가장 우수한 피삭성을 나타내었다. Various elements which can improve the machinability of sintered ferrous materials were added into the sintered Fe+0.7%C. From the results of the machinability test, it was found that the sintered part containing 0.15%SiO_(2)+0.15%MgO, which was sintered followed by a steam treatment, exhibited the superior machinability.

        Black raspberry extract can lower serum LDL cholesterol via modulation of gut microbial composition and serum bile acid profile in rats fed trimethylamine-N-oxide with a high-fat diet

        Blood trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) has been associated with cardiovascular disease. Black raspberry (Rubus occidentalis, BR) has been regarded to be beneficial for cardiovascular health. This study aimed to investigate how BR extract affects serum lipid profile, gut microbial composition, metabolites in rats fed TMAO with a high-fat diet. Dietary TMAO increased serum LDL cholesterol, while BR extract decreased its level. α-Diversity of gut microbiota was not changed; however, in the rats fed TMAO, Macellibacteroides and Mucispirillum were enriched, while Ruminococcaceae was reduced. The BR supplementation could restore Macellibacteroides, Clostridium, and Ruminococcaceae. The BR supplementation increased cecal hippuric acid and serum farnesoid X receptor-antagonistic bile acids, including ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA), tauro-α-muricholic acid, and tauro-UDCA. The BR supplementation tended to upregulate Cyp7a1 and Abcg5 expressions while downregulating Srebf2 and Hmgcr expressions. BR extract affects the gut bacterial community and microbial metabolites, lowering serum LDL cholesterol in rats with elevated serum TMAO.
