        부산·울산·경남지역 직업병 감시체계

        Objective: Occupational medicine specialists in the Busan, Ulsan and Kyung-Nam areas established an area-based occupational disease surveillance system and used this system to collected case information for the purpose of preventing occupational diseases Methods: l l hospital participated in this system. The authors selected five main diseases, which were hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), work-related musculoskeletal disorder (WRMSD), occupational asthma, occupational skin disease and occupational and occupational lung cancer and established their case definitions. All cases were reported on the web, and real time analysis was conducted. Results: Between April 2001 and April 2003, 192 cases of HAVS, 118 cases of WRMSD, 33 cases of occupational asthma, 17 cases of occupational skin disease and 17 cases of occupational lung cancer (for a total of 377 cases of these five main diseases) were reported. most of the HAVS cases came from shipbuilding, and 172 of them (92.7%) were associated with grinding. Of the four main types of WRMSD, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) was the most prevalent with 46 cases and shipbuilding was also the main industry involved (83.9%). The ergonomic risk factors involved mainly associated with the hand. In 19 (57.6%) and 4 (12.1%) cases of occupational asthma, the agents involved. The causative agents of occupational lung cancer included Cr, welding fume, PAH, Ni, etc. 10(58.8%) of the cases were diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma and 5(29.4%) as adenoma. Conclusion: This result showed that an area-based occupational disease surveillance system might provide an effective method of evaluating the prevalence of such diseases, however the Busan, Ulsan and Kyung-Nam provinces are too large to be treated as individual areas. Therefore, the authors suggest that each province should establish its own surveillance system.

        Production and Characterization of Enzymes Involved in Chitin Catabolic Cascade from a Bacterial Strain Isolated from Soil

        The present study was aimed to isolate the bacteria producing chitinolytic enzymes including chitin deacetylase (CDA) from soil origin. About 24 bacteria were screened for their chitinolytic enzymes producing ability on the basis of colloidal chitin. Amongst one of the most potent isolates designated to JI-02 was further selected as the most prominent chitinolytic and CDAlike enzyme (CDA-X) producer based on the ability of deacetylation of an artificial substrate pNP-acetamilide. The maximum production of CDA-X in crude enzyme from JI-02 was observed in the presence of 1% colloidal chitin at 37°C and pH 6.4 after 120 h of incubation. Potent enzyme activity of CDA-X was determined toward pNP-acetamilide, demonstrating that optimal pH, temperature and ionic strength of the CDA-X were assessed to be 7.0, 52°C and 125 mM, respectively. Unexpectedly, Nacetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) was not fully converted by the action of CDA-X to glucosamine (GlcN) under the established conditions. Further study on enzyme activity toward chitin-oligosaccharides consisting of multi-N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc)n, n=2-5 may be necessary to elucidate the mode of action which requires the minimum size of (GlcNAc)n. However, our data suggest that CDA-X can convert chitin to chitosan with the maximum yield of approximately 0.08g/L during the fermentation of the strain in the presence of chitin. Furthermore, we found that crude enzyme showed the significant chitosanolytic activity. Taken together, our data suggest that the strain JI-02 may be a potential candidate as a particular strain for better understating of chitin catabolic pathway.

        수술환자의 수술장 내 대기시간 단축방안

        문제: 환자가 수술장내에서 수술을 기다리면서 느끼는 불안감을 최소화할수있도록해야하지만수술실의 효율성 및 의료진 편의성 위주로 운영되고 있어 수술실 내 대기시간이 연장되고 있다. 목적: 수술장내 대기시간을 단축시키기 위해 수술환자의 이동경로에 따른 지연요인과 문제점을파악하고 개선하여 환자가 수술을기다리면서 느끼는 불안감을 최소화하고자 한다. 의료기관: 부산시에 소재한 481병상의 종합병원 수술실 질 향상 활동: 수술환자의 대기시간 지연요인과 문제점을 파악하고 개선을 통해 질 향상을 도모하였다. 개선효과: 대기시간 수행율에서 수술장 도착까지의 수행율이 개선전 95%에서 개선후98%로, 수술방입실까지의 수행율이 개선전 88%에서 개선후 94%로, 마취시작 까지의 수행율이 개선전 93%에서 개선후 96%로 수행율이높아졌다.

      • Poly(ρ-phenylenesulfide)와 Poly(ρ-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소의 리튬 이온 2차전지 anode 재료로서의 전기화학적 특성

        Poly(p-phenylenesulfide)와 poly(p-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소를 리튬이온 2차전지용 음극재료로 사용하여 전기화학적특성을 연구하였다. 이들 고분자들을 질소 분위기하에서 승온속도 2℃/min로 1000℃까지 상승시킨 후, 1시간 동안 탄화시켜 탄소를 제조하였다. Poly(p-phenylene)으로부터 제조된 탄소가 보다 더 규칙적인 구조를 가지기 때문에 Poly(p-phenylenesulfide)으로부터 제조된 탄소보다 더 많은 용량과 충방전 효율을 나타내었다. 수산화리튬과 염화주석(Ⅱ)을 첨가하여 용량의 증가와 충방전 효율의 증가를 가져올 수 있었다. 이중에서 poly(p-phenylene)에 염화주석(Ⅱ)을 첨가시켜 제조된 탄소가 가장 큰 충방전 용량과 충방전 효율의 향상을 가져왔다. Carbon inaterials manufactured from poly(p-phenylene sulfide) and poly(p-phenylene), were studied on electrochemical characteristics as anode materials for lithium ion secondary battery. These polymer precursors were heat treated for 1hr at 1000℃ with the rate 2℃/min under nitrogen atmosphere. Carbon manufactured from poly(p-phenylene) showed higher capacity and coulomb efficiency of charge/discharge than carbon from poly(p-phenylene sulfide) because the former has better ordered structure. Carbon manufactured from polymer precursors adding stannous chloride or lithium hydroxide showed higher capacity and better efficiency of charge/discharge. Also, carbon manufactured by adding stannous chloride to poly(p-phenylene) showed the highest capacity and efficiency of charge/discharge.

      • 교양무용수업 경험이 무용의 인식도(認識度)에 미치는 영향 : ‘한국무용의 이해’ 수업을 중심으로

        Today dance is an artistic activity with which common people already became familiar due to the spread of social dance as well as artistic one. However, although many liberal arts classes hold a greater part than major classes in the current college instructional model, dance fails to be selected as a required course; for this reason, it seems that perception of dance should vary. The principal purpose of this study is to examine effects of experiences in dance classes as liberal arts on perception empirically in order to suggest inevitability of selecting a dance course as a liberal arts subject. A sampling framework was made for students taking the 'Understanding of Korean Dance' course as a liberal arts course and those not taking the course in Yong-in University and then a total of 190 students were randomly sampled, with about 95 per sample. Questionnaires were distributed to the sample consisting of 190 students; then, of those questions collected, 173 copies were used for the final analysis with the exception of those which were judged to be inappropriate or of no value for the study. A structured questionnaire based on self-administration was used and collected; hypothesis test results were estimated through a computer statistics program using analyzable data. Each of the hypotheses was tested at the α=.05 significance level and the data were analyzed using the statistical analysis method of χ²test (chi-square test). Through the methods and procedure mentioned above, the following conclusions were drawn. First, experiences in dance classes affect interest in dance. Second, experiences in dance affect the need of dance. Third, experiences in dance affect appreciation of dance on the stage. Fourth, experiences in dance don't affect perception of effectiveness of dance. In conclusion, the results from this study agree with those from Ahn (2000), Hwang (2002), and Im (2000) that experiences in dance have a significant effect on general perception of dance; therefore, it seems necessary to provide more opportunities to access dance in order to change perception of dance and expand its field. 이 연구의 목적은 교양과목으로 무용과목이 채택되어야 하는 당위성을 부여하기 위해 교양무용수업 경험이 무용의 인식도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 파악하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 따라서 용인대학교 교양무용과목 ‘한국무용의 이해’ 수업을 수강한 학생과 수강하지 않은 학생을 대상으로 표집틀(sampling framework)을 작성한 다음 약 95명씩 총 190명을 집락무선표집 하였다. 이와 같은 연구 방법 및 절차를 통하여 이 연구에서 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 무용수업 경험은 무용의 관심도에 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 무용수업 경험은 무용의 필요성에 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 무용수업 경험은 무용 관람도에 영향을 미치고 있다. 넷째, 무용수업 경험은 무용의 효과인지에 영향을 미치지 않고 있다.

      • SNMP 기능확장을 통한 Network 성능 향상에 관한 연구

        On internet environment multimedia information containing voice and image is tramitted, which is tens times or hundreds times larger than oridnary information Analytic types for network management in this environment are consisted of a real time analysis, a basis analysis and an intensive analysis. An intensive analysis is to gather trend information on specific objects periodically, and to analyze this information in order to monitor network conditions When SNMP is applied to collect the trend information, it brings on an increase of network load, a delay of response time and a decrease of accuracy of data collection since an agent responds to each managers' polling. In this paper, an efficient SNMP is proposed and implemented to add time variables in the existing SNMP PDU It minimizes unnecessary traffic at an intensive analysis between manager and agent, and collects trend information accurately The results of experiments show that it has compatibility with the existing SNMP, decreases an amount of network traffic greatly and increases the accuracy of data collection.

        플륨 모니터링에 의한 SM45C 레이저 용접특성 평가

        With the increased use of lasers in industrial welding applications, techniques for monitoring and controlling these processes become increasingly important. It is very important that we understand the dynamic behaviors of the laser induced plume in welding because the laser induced plume has considerable effects on welding efficiency and the quality of materials. As the plume fluctuation was associated with keyhole instability, unstable vapor plume indicated the process was unstable and would result in poor welds. An Infrared Themal-vision Camera can be utilized compensate for incurracies encountered in real-time monitoring during laser welding. We have results that instabilities of plume are closely dated with hot cracking and defect of laser welding.

        한국무용이 중년여성의 주관적 웰빙과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

        As medical progress results in prolonged human life in this 21st century, people have recently begun to take interest in how to enrich their own lives. That is, a new cultural trend named "welfare" or "well-being" is being made where people make best use of their free hours, invest in physical and mental health, and pursue qualitative values in life. At present, however, the academic circle of dancing needs theoretical aspects related with well-being. In particular, this study is needed to answer the task how Korean dance can help Korean middle-aged women enhance their quality of life physically, mentally, and socially. In addition, while most research adopted the quantitative method to know a general tendency, this study resorted to a questionnaire based on the analyzed results of in-depth interviews as a way of the qualitative method and used a multiple approach in relation to the study of leisure. In sociological aspects, too, this study of concrete factor analysis is desperately needed to account for the relations between dancing and the recent important sociocultural phenomenon of welfare. Therefore, the current research aims to reveal the effects of the leisure activities of Korean dancing on the subjective well-being and quality of life of middle-aged women. The researcher hopes to prove that the middle-aged women can effectively express their desire of social participation through Korean dance and suggest the possibility and theoretical base of leisure science. With Korean dance activities as the independent variable and subjective well-being and quality of life as dependent variables, some hypotheses were made. The subjects were 200 women in middle age learning Korean dance as of July 2007 in Seoul's department store cultural centers in Gangnam-gu, Seocho-gu, Seongbuk-gu, and Songpa-gu as well as the National Theater. 196 questionnaires were finally retrieved and used in the present research. The investigation tools in this study were the in-depth analysis results of personal interviews with 14 middle-aged women learning Korean dance as leisure activities as well as Im Yeong-heui's (2005) questionnaire about the correlations between dancing and well-being culture, complemented after a test on credibility and validity. For data processing, credibility analysis (cronbach's a-coefficient) and factor analysis were made to obtain the following findings: 1. Korean dance activities have a positive influence on the subjective well-being of middle-aged women. Subjective welfare has mental, physical, and social well-being effects. They are 7 observable variables: emotional cultivation, psychological rest, mental energy (mental); external change, internal change (physical); width of social life, sociality (social). Among these, physical change was analyzed to be the representative factor of subjective well-being. As a result, middle-aged women had the most positive effect on physical aspects through Korean dancing activities. 2. Korean dance activities also have an affirmative influence on the quality of life of middle-aged women. The quality of life has 11 observable variables: positive change of life, educational continuity, desire satisfaction (satisfaction); pride, achievement, identity (self-awareness); emotional ties, communication, allowed privacy (family cohesion); intellectual cultivation, lifestyle change (change of life). The representative factor was satisfaction with the positive change of life. In sum, the research expects the following utility and application: 1. The neglected aspects of Korean dance activities concerning the concrete factors of their influence on middle-aged women's well-being and quality of life were revealed here to provide theoretical basis of dance science and contribute to the accumulation and activation of the related experimental academics. 2. The experimental data regarding the values and roles of Korean dancing will be very valuable in the policies of social dance and consequently promote the Korean dancing activities of the women in middle age.
