        알코올로 인한 Wernicke disease의 치험 1례

        Wernicke Disease is well known of nutriotional disorders Wernicke Disease is charaterized by ataxia, confusion and oculomotor disturbance. We diagnosis one patient, who has ataxia, confusion and oculomotor disturbance as Jusang(酒傷), and gave saenggangunbi-tang, bojungchiseub-tang and samchulgunbi-tang. We observed that clinical symptom and Liver function were improved by these herbal medicine Therefore We consider Wernicke Disease as Jusang(酒傷) and further reports with many case, however, will be needed.

        중환자실 간호사의 환자안전간호활동 교육요구도 조사 : IPA 활용

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to not only examine the importance and performance status of patient safety nursing activities in the intensive care unit but also to understand nurses' educational needs in this respect. Methods : In this descriptive study, 196 nurses working in the intensive care units of university hospitals located at B City and G Province were enrolled. They completed the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) questionnaire, and the data were statistically analyzed. Results : Mean±standard deviation item scores of importance and performance of patient safety nursing activities were 4.75±0.33 and 4.48±0.38, respectively. In the IPA results, a total of 10 items were included in the second quadrant, including 1 item related to 'transfer,' 1 to 'infection,' and 1 to 'firefighting surveillance.' As the second quadrant contains the high-importance, low-performance items, these 10 items resemble the nurses' educational needs that should be prioritized. Conclusion : The results of this study can be used as a basis for the development of nursing educational programs for patient safety in the intensive care unit.

      • 폐FRP의 층간분리를 위한 전처리방법에 관한 연구

        As one of the methods for recycling the FRP from the waste ships, separation of roving layer from the mat has some merits in a sense of the eco-friendly and economical recycling process. Similar characteristics, however, between the roving and the mat even with different ratio of the resin and the glass and the thickness of the roving, much thinner than the mat, make the mechanically automatic differentiation difficult. In this study spectrochemical differentiation between the two layers has been made using boiling concentrated sulfuric acid, methanol and isopropanol solution saturated with KOH, or hydrogen fluoride (HF) solution. Furthermore efficiently coloring water-soluble dye following the HF treatment makes the roving layer more distinguishable photophysically. The layer differentiation and the automatic layer distraction move up the date of simple and automatic separation process for the waste FRP. 중소형 폐 선박으로부터 생성되는 FRP를 재활용하기 위한 방법으로 층상으로 배열된 로빙층과 매트층을 분리하는 것은 친 환경적이면서도 경제적 재활용의 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 효율적으로 로빙층과 매트층을 분리하는 기술과 로빙층은 매트층에 비해 얇은 두께로 존재한다는 이유로 인해 로빙층을 매트층과 분리할 때 기계가 자동적으로 층간의 차이를 인식하는 방법은 아직 개발이 이루지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유리의 구성비가 다른 두 층의 화학적 성질의 차를 이용하여 광학적으로 층간 인식이 가능한 방법을 모색하였다. FRP에 대해 수지를 녹이는 진한 황산, 또는 유리를 녹이는 염기성 용액(KOH의 메탄올과 아이소프로판올 용액), 유리의 $SiO_2$와 반응하는 플루오르산(HF) 용액 등을 활용하여 두 층간의 차별화가 일어났다. 더 효율적으로는 HF 용액으로 처리한 후 수용성 물감으로 착색시킴으로써 광학적인 분별이 가능하였다. 층간 분별과 자동화된 층분리로 폐 FRP의 분리 공정이 단순화, 자동화를 달성하게 되었다.

        환자안전 교육과정 개발 사례 연구

        Patient safety is achieved through systematic improvement based on the knowledge and willingness of medical professionals. A systematic longitudinal curriculum for patient safety is essential to prepare medical students and professionals. The purpose of this article is to introduce our experience with a 'workshop for developing a patient safety curriculum' and to compare the results with previous studies. The workshop comprising 15 medical professors and patient safety experts met for 2 days. The Consensus Workshop method was applied, collecting opinions from all of the members and reaching consensus through the following stages: context, brainstorm, cluster, name, and resolve. The patient safety curriculum was developed by this method, covering patient safety topics and issues, and teaching and assessment methods. A total of 7 topics were extracted, 'activities for patient safety, concepts of patient safety, leadership and teamwork, error disclosure, self-management, patient education, policies.' Issues, teaching methods, and assessment methods were developed for each topic. The patient safety curriculum developed from the workshop was similar to previous curricula developed by other institutions and medical schools. The Consensus Workshop method proved to be an effective approach to developing a patient safety curriculum.

        스트렙토조토신으로 유도된 신경세포사멸에서 비타민 C의 보호 기전 연구

        In this study, we analyzed the protective effects of the vitamin C in the streptozotocin (STZ)-induced apoptosis using the SH-SY5Y, a neuroblastoma cell line. The cells were pretreated with the vitamin C ($100{\mu}g$) for 30 min, followed by the 24-hr treatment with the 2.5-mM STZ. The cell-viability assay using the Cell Counting Kit (CCK)-8 revealed the cell-survival rate increased by 15% following the vitamin-C pretreatment compared to the STZ-only treatment. Moreover, we conducted the western-blot analysis to determine the protective effect of the vitamin C regarding the apoptosis. Compared to those in the STZ-only-treatment group, the p-ERK and Bcl-2 expressions increased in the vitamin-C-pretreatment group, whereas the p-JNK and Bax expressions decreased. The vitamin-C pretreatment increased the expression of the SOD-1, an antioxidant enzyme, by more than 30%, indicating its protective role in the STZ-induced oxidative stress. Also, we found both the intrinsic- and extrinsic-pathway mechanisms of the STZ-induced apoptosis. The results of this study $s{\mu}ggest$ vitamin C may help prevent the neurodegenerative diseases.

        제천전(濟川煎)과 약물(藥物) 가감(加減)이 흰쥐의 사하작용(瀉下作用)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        We have examined the purgative effect of three Jechun-jun formulas in sprague dawley(SD) rat. Three jechun-jun formulas were Jechun-jun(Sample I ) and augmented Jechun-jun(Sample II) and augmented Jechun-jun add rhubarb(sample III ). We examined the amount and the humidity of feces in rat. The experimental animals were devided into four groups. as control group and three Jechun-jun (sample I, II, III). We administerd the water extract of sample I, II, III to rat per oral for 8days long. After every 24hours measured the amount of wet feces from rats in metabolic cage. Humidity rate of feces from rat was at first measure wet feces for 24hours (W) and measure dried feces (W1) and then we consider W-W1 as humidity. High humidity rate means constipation changes into moistening stool. The amount of wet feces and humidity rate of feces in rats were increased in sample I, II, III. Sample I has highest humidity rate of feces. so showed strong moistening effect. Sample II has mild effect in treating constipation. sample III has most amount of wet feces. in conclusion Jechun-jun has an effect of moistening stool. and augmented Jechun-jun add rhubarb has strong purgative effect.

        양안에 발생한 급성 황반 신경망막병증 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of bilateral acute macular neuroretinopathy (AMN) following flu-like illness. Case summary: A 42-year-old woman complained of paracentral scotoma in both eyes 2 weeks after an episode of flu. Fundus examination showed several dark, brown-reddish, wedge- shaped lesions in both maculae, and red-free fundus photography confirmed the lesions. Fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography was normal. Amsler grid test demonstrated paracentral scotoma. The multifocal electroretinogram (ERG) response was subnormal, and ocular coherence tomography (OCT) confirmed an impaired photoreceptor layer in both eyes. Under the diagnosis of AMN, the patient was followed- up without treatment. No subjective changes were observed during follow-up, although the damage to the photoreceptor was partially recovered based on spectral-domain OCT (SD-OCT). Conclusions: Multifocal ERG and SD-OCT may be helpful to diagnose AMN. Despite partial recovery of clinical signs on SD-OCT, paracentral scotoma could be sustained for a long period of time.

        섬유주세포에서 Erythropoietin이 일산화질소의 생성에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: To investigate the effects of erythropoietin (EPO) on the production of nitric oxide in cultured human trabecular meshwork cells (HTMC). Methods: Primarily cultured HTMC were exposed to 0, 0.5, and 1.0 U/ml EPO using serum-deprived media for 2 days. Production of nitric oxide and cellular survival were assessed with Griess assay and MTT assay, respectively. Expression of EPO mRNA receptor and activity of eNOS were assessed with RT-PCR. Results: EPO did not affect the survival of HTMC (p > 0.05). EPO increased the production of nitric oxide (p < 0.05) accompanied with increased eNOS activity. Conclusions: EPO had no effect on the cellular survival under serum-deprived conditions. EPO increases the production of nitric oxide by increasing eNOS activity.         리눅스 실시간 스펙트럼 분석기를 이용한 컴퓨터 기반 순음청력검사 시스템의 자동 보정 지원

        Compared to conventional pure-tone audiometer(PTA), the computerized one has several advantages such as relatively lower price, better flexibility, and easy operation. In addition, the computerized PTA can be easily extended to support automatic calibration. In this study, the support of automatic calibration in the computerized PTA has been addressed using the Linux realtime spectrum analyzer and network. In terms of accuracy, the new automatic calibration machine was compared to the existing manually operated one. According to the comparison, normal operation and high accuracy were observed within the scope of the international standard.

        모바일 앱 활용 치아형태학 수업에서의 학습 만족도 제고 요인

        This study was conducted on 54 freshmen of the department of dental technology in D University to examine the effect of dental morphological practice mobile application utilization on the students' perception of class and satisfaction with learning. Major results of the study showed that satisfaction and utility towards functions of mobile application strengthened positive perception of dental morphology class, leading to improvement of satisfaction with learning, which suggested that functional convenience and utility in the use of applications were the effective factors for increasing the satisfaction with learning. Those results need to be given important consideration in designing the class using the mobile applications.
