This paper presents development results of integrated operating program and its simulator for an inshore test miner. The inshore test miner drives on the seabed and collects manganese nodules. For operating the test miner, integrated operating program (IOP) is needed for remote control and monitor of the miner in real-time. However, it is hard to develop the practical IOP for the test miner system. because the system is big, expensive, and unique. So a simulator was developed as a test substitute in order to save time and to reduce cost. Using test results of the simulator, the IOP of the test miner was developed. The developed IOP consists of remote program, host program, monitoring program and database program The operating program was developed using PXI and Labview of MI. The experimental results are presented to show the applicability of the developed program.
사용자 경험을 강화하기 위한 시나리오 기반의 AI 에이전트 설계

Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently used in various fields, including culture and arts. This study designed a scenario-based conversational agent using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and examined its application in the field of culture and arts. This study focused on developing contents with an emphasis on experience expansion for users and investigated the conversation composition of the AI agent based on the elements of persona and gamification. The agent was Leonardo da Vinci, and its persona was set to be melancholic based on the extant literature. This differed from the friendly agents commonly used in art museums and galleries. Furthermore, to enhance interaction with users, the conversation was structured by incorporating gamification, which includes quizzes about the work in each step, and recommendations for the work as a reward for answering the quizzes. This study focused on the technical feasibility and scalability of integrating AI agents into artistic content and emphasized the practical application of this environment for users in cultural and artistic institutions.

This paper is to present map building of mobile robot using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and ultrasonic sensor. For mobile robot to perform map building, the mobile robot needs its localization and accurate driving in space. In this reason, firstly, kinematic modeling of mobile robot under non-holonomic constrains is introduced. Secondly, based on this modeling, a tracking controller is designed for tracking a given path based on backstepping method using Lyapunov function. The Lyapunov function is also introduced for proving the stability of the designed tracking controller. Thirdly, 2D map building is performed by RFID system, mobile robot system and ultrasonic sensors. The RFID mobile robot system is composed of DC motor, encoder, ultra sonic sensor, digital compass, RFID receiver and RFID antenna. Finally, the path tracking simulation results and map building experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the designed controller.

Due to the improvement in living standards of the urban population and the increase in various needs, the concept of agriculture is being transformed into a concept of leisure and relaxation beyond the perception that it is an industry limited to rural areas. As the desire of urban residents to pursue a healthy diet grows, starting with food security issues, starting from growing plants in small spaces such as rooms and living rooms in general residential spaces, and using idle spaces in the city, The scope of urban agriculture, such as the operation of weekend farms, is gradually expanding, and the necessity and importance of urban agriculture are shared at the policy level, such as enacting laws on fostering and supporting urban agriculture. Accordingly, we would like to propose a vertical farm that grows crops in a vertically stacked three-dimensional indoor space suitable for urban areas.
Sequential Fractionation of Heavy metals from Mine Tailings and Two Series of Agricultural Soils

본 연구는 폐 금속광산으로부터 발생한 중금속이 주변 환경으로 오염 확산되는 특성과 이를 중금속으로 오염된 토양의 효과적인 복원 방안을 모색하기 위하여 토양내 중금속의 거동 특성을 바탕으로 한 반응 특성을 조사하였다. 토양내 중금속의 이동성과 생물에 의한 흡수에 영향을 미치는 화학적 존재 형태를 중금속이 다량 함유되어 있는 충남 청양의 구봉 폐 금광의 광미와 인위적으로 중금속을 오염시킨 농경지 토양에서 중금속의 토양과의 화학적 결합 형태를 연속 축출법에 의해 분리하였으며, 그 순서에 따라 토양 내에서 다음과 같이 용해도와 이동성이 감소한다: Soluble fraction> exchangeable>carbonate>Fe-Mn oxide>organic>residual fraction. 광미중에 결합 부위에 가장 높은 친화력을 보인 Pb는 대부분 Fe-Mn Oxide와 Carbonate fraction에 존재하였고 이 두 Fraction에 각각 48.3%와 26.8% 나타났다. Cu와 Cd는 각각 organic과 carbonate fraction이 71.8% 42.9%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 이들 fraction은 비교적 이동성이 강한 fraction으로 중금 속의 오염 조사시 반드시 평가되어야 하며, 복원방안 결정시 반드시 고려되어야 할 것이다. 중금속을 인위적으로 흡착시킨 토양에 있어서 중금속은 대부분 Exchangeable, carbonate 그리고 Fe-Mn oxide fraction 흡착되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예산통에 있어서 흡착된 Pb는 이들 fraction에 91%가 존재하였고, Cu는 Fe-Mn Fraction에 30.4% 그리고 Cd는 exchangeable fraction에 67.9% 가 존재하였다. 월곡통에 있어서는 흡착된 Cd는 Exchangeable fraction에 93.2%가 존재하였고, Pb와 Cu는 대부분 exchangeable, carbonate와 Fe-Mn Oxide에 흡착되어 있었다. 따라서 토양내 이들 중금속이 가해질 경우 대부분 독성이 강한 오염원으로서 잠재적인 이동성과 생물학적 흡수가능성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. In order to investigate the contamination characteristics of the heavy metals in the mine tailings of abandoned gold mine and its surrounding agricultural soils, a sequential extraction procedure of increasing reactivity in the dissolution processes of the heavy metals(Cd, Cu, and Pb) which were associated with solid and/or solution phase in soils was attempted to partition into six particulate fractions : exchangeable, bound to carbonate, bound to Fe-Mn oxides, bound to organic matter, residual, and soluble. Among indigenous heavy metals in the mine tailings, Pb was the most abundant and Cu and Cd were followed by. Fractionation result of Pb obtained from the triplicate samples of the mine tailings were in the order of Fe-Mn oxide> Carbonate> Residual> Organic> Exchangeable> Soluble, while Wolgok series were Exchangeable > Fe-Mn oxide > Carbonate> Organic> Residual> Soluable. However the other heavy metals studied were not followed this trend. The fractionation results of mine tailing and agricultural soils demonstrated that different geochemical fractions were operationally defined by an extraction sequence that generally followed the order of decreasing solubility. Therefore potential mobility and bioavailability of heavy metals as toxic pollution sources can be evaluated when studying the pollution levels of heavy metals in soils.

In recent years, there has been an increase in consumer demand for bottled waters. There is a perception that consumption of natural mineral water represents a healthy life style and that these products are relatively safe. In this study, the microbiological quality of 39 samples of bottled water, purchased from retail store in Korea, was investigated during the 2005. Applying pour plate method, the 1 mL of water samples were analyzed for the presence and enumeration of total general bacteria and Pseudomonas spp.. Nineteen samples representing 9 brands of bottled water contained general bacteria ($1.54{\times}10^2$ CFU/mL). In addition four samples contained Pseudomonas spp. and Camamonas acidovorans. The susceptibility of the strains tested against 25 antimicrobial agents, Pseudomonas fluorescens were resistant to Lincomycin, Amoxacilin/Clavulanic acid and Cefazolin (> $100{\mu}g/mL$). Also Comamonas acidovorans were intermediate to Cephalothin and resistant to Cefoperazone.
