This paper aims to trace the thoughts of Baekseok during the Japanese ruling era, focusing on the relation between his poems and postcolonial writing. Baekseok's writing has a characteristic in his imagery for the subject identity considering the colonialism, by the poetic strategy in which he thinks of the past. The continuous consciousness of tirne in Baekseok's collection of poems, Deer, is tradition orientation. This tradition orientation is an important concept in Baekseok's poetry because he thinks of the problems of reality through reminiscing about the past. Baekseok resists the violence of reality, through the postcolonialism of 'remembering', which forces to forget the things getting away from the memories. Resisting by imagery of memory can be a concrete and literary practical action, resisting the violent speed of reality. Baekseok appeals resisting against the consciousness of time of change and speed which modern or modernity was bearing. He uses a strategy to make space with time or to make sentences in parallel as a postdualistic and postcentric writing, so that he shows delay and de-construction of causality as well as consciousness of anti-modern against modern writing. This point is not only a clue which leads us to understand the identity of poet who thinks of reality, but also a symbol, as a sort of writing, which gives us a type of postcolonial writing to cure the colonialism of the time.

Ever since making his debut with 「패배자의 소원(A Hope Of A Loser)」(1935) in the Journal『Shinin-munhak』, Lee Yong-ak worte a lot of poem and remains really active in his creative work. His works on the whole poeticized the kernel situation of his times through the impoverished conditions of rural communities under coercive Japanese imperial rule and the consequent people's nomadism This paper aims to consider the "Road" motif as the coherent relation and the literary convention in Lee Yong-ak's poetic system. Cnsidering this problem, this paper seek the meaning of Road by literary immanent methods, and search of symbolism and paths in the Road. The Road is a search for self-identity by problematic character as poetic speaker, and for self-consciousness in a world degraded. This symbolism develops two paths in Lee Yong-ak's poetry, one path to the South, another to the north. It is homology between Lee Yong-ak's life and the path of Road in his poetry. Also the meaning of are changed in his historical environment.

The purpose of this paper is to grasp preponderantly the focus of the point which different critic arguments about the connection of the poetry and the realism in the beginning 1990's, and to consider the method of figure appeared the issue of type in the realistic poetry comparing with each views according to analyzing 「Nal-Geun Jip」(The Old House) of Lee Yong-Ak. The possibility of realism to be in the poetry and how to be possible in the poetry is the focus in the dispute. The discussion of realism have been continued since under the rule of Japanese imperialism, especially in the dispute about the poetry and realism how to be represented the realism in the poetry is the central theme in this paper. And then the development of dispute is typical figure in totality by differnt way, and discuss realism in poetry, respectively.

This paper aims to consider the current situation of studies on the local poetry in Chonbuk and find out its future task. For the purpose of achieving this goal, this paper set up the category of the local poetry in Chonbuk as viewpoint gazing on the local literature, limited the period and the objects,and considered its history of study including the current situation of studies. The local poetry in Chonbuk has not been studied properly but considered peripherally and fragmentally. That’s because the results of studies on most of local poets in Chonbuk hadn’t been accumulated except for several figures. In this point, the conceptual distance between central literature and local one could be confirmed, moreover the modern and modernity dissolved in political unconsciousness could be understood by tracing the distance. Therefore this paper, in which the poets of Chonbuk area are divided in two groups; ones before 1950 and the others after 1950, suggests the current situation of studies and the future task of the local poetry in Chonbuk. 이 글은 전북 지역 시문학의 연구 현황을 고찰하고 향후 과제를 점검하는데 목적을 둔다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본고는 전북 지역 시문학의 범주를 지역문학을 바라보는 관점으로 설정하여 시기와 대상을 한정하고 그에 따른 연구사 및 연구 현황을 고찰한다. 전북 지역의 시문학은 시문학사적 맥락에서 제대로 연구되어 있지 않고지엽적 파편적으로 이루어져 있다. 왜냐 하면, 몇몇 개별 시인의 경우 집약적인 연구 성과를 축적하고 있지만 우리 지역에서 활동하는 지역문인의경우는 그와 다르기 때문이다. 여기에서 중앙문학과 지역문학의 관념적거리를 확인할 수 있는 바, 그 거리를 추적함으로써 정치적 무의식에 녹아든근대와 근대성을 가늠할 수 있다. 이에 전북 지역 시인들을 1950년을 전후로나누어 연구 현황을 점검하고 향후 전북 지역 시문학의 과제와 제안을 제시한다.
