The bleeding duodenal varices ia uncommon and frequeintly present a difficult diagnostic problem While the bleeding duodenal varices is a complication of portal hypertension, the possibility of bleeding duodenal varices in the absence of eaophageal varix bleeding should be kept mind. For the surgeon, the mikin technical problem is that even when identified by frequently impalpable, and invisible to the naked eye unless they are actively bleeding at the time of surgery. We described simple intra-operative endoscopic technique successfully to identify and bleeding varices in the duodenal third portion prior to the partial duodenal resection. This report summarized our experience and review of literature.

The king of Joseon Dynasty Jeong-jo commanded the renovation of Seongjeong-gak, once a study for crown prince, to serve as Pyeonjeon(便殿), a main office for kings. The renovated building strictly separated the routes designated for the king and the other officers, respectively. The interior space consisted of Youngnae, reserved for the king and his senior aides, and Youngwae, for lower ranking officers. Youngnae(楹內) and Youngwae(楹外) corresponded to the two blocks (the space between two columns) on the east and west side, respectively. Such structure of Pyeonjeon was heavily transformed over several occasions beginning from the late nineteenth century. Youngwae was subdivided into separate spaces, and the routes for the king and the officers became indistinguishable.

유럽연합(EU)의 대북정책: ‘비판적 포용정책’의 변화가능성에 관한 연구

The EU's policy toward North Korea, unlike the US's policy of proliferating stiffness in North Korea, pursued a ‘Critical Engagement Policy’ that demanded the improvement of North Korean society while complying with universal principles, unlike South Korea's engagement policy. In other words, the United States looks forward to actively reorganizing the international order in accordance with the rapidly changing international environment. And the EU shows a modest mix of contradictory values of North Korea cooperation and isolation. The North Korean crisis, most notably its nuclear and ballistic missile aspects, continues unabated, directly affecting the interests of EU and its population. A critical engagement policy that began in the late 2000s cannot be freed from the criticism of a partially failed policy. North Korea's nuclear and missile programs have progressed steadily, but the human rights situation in North Korea has not improved. At the same time, the role of arbitrators in EU member states in relation to the EU's diplomatic capacity has declined significantly. The main problem the EU and the EU member states face today is not a lack of resources or a lack of initiatives, but a lack of coordination. Therefore, the European Union needs to reconsider the interests of various actors in Europe, such as the EU Council, the Executive Committee, the European Parliament, and the EU member states, according to North Korea's policy at the multi-dimensional level. It is now necessary to renew this strategy at a pivotal moment, as a new European Commission takes office in 2020, the EU policy toward North Korea must be shifted from a critical engagement policy to a ‘multi-layered engagement policy’.

요천추의 시상면상 정렬과 요추 퇴행성 추간판 양상의 연관성

Study Design: Retrospective review and radiological analysis. Objectives: We investigated whether the lumbosacral sagittal curvature have any relation to the patterns of lumbar disc degeneration. Summary of Literature Review: Recently, there have been many studies on the correlations between the changes of lumbar disc degeneration and associated factors, such as age, gender, weight, occupation, cigarette smoking, and genetics; but, it is hard to find research into lumbosacral sagittal alignments. Materials and Methods: This study enrolled 117 young adult patients limited by age (18-35 years), BMD (<30kg/m2), no smoking,occupation except heavy worker, no prior lumbar surgery and no combined spinal deformity. By measuring the pelvic incidence, sacral slope, lumbar tilt angle, lumbar lordosis and lumbar axis indicating the parameters of sagittal alignments, we investigated the correlation between the number and severity of lumbar disc degeneration and the number of herniated intervertebral discs. Results: This study found a moderate correlation between pelvic incidence, sacral slope, lumbar lordosis, and the number of lumbar degenerative disc (r =-0.451, p <0.001; r =-0.433, p <0.001; r =-0.425, p <0.001). We calculated the most proper cut-off value of pelvic incidence associated with more than three segments of multiple lumbar disc degeneration, using a minimum p-value approach. Conclusions: As pelvic incidence, sacral slope, and lumbar lordosis indicating the parameters of lumbosacral sagittal alignments get smaller, the numbers of lumbar disc degenerations and herniated intervertebral discs increase. When pelvic incidence is below 45.6degrees, it is more likely for degenerative changes of lumbar disc to affect more than three segments. 연구 계획: 후향적 방사선학적 측정을 통한 분석 연구. 목적: 본 연구에서는 요추에서 퇴행성 추간판의 양상과 시상면상 정렬이 어떠한 연관성을 가지고 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 선행문헌의 요약: 최근 요추 추간판의 퇴행성 변화와 연관된 원인으로 연령, 성별, 체중, 직업, 흡연력 및 유전적인 요인 등에 대해서 많은 연구가 있었으나 요천추의 시상면상 정렬과 연관된 연구는 거의 없었다. 대상 및 방법: 1996년 3월에서 2010년 5월까지 요추 수술을 받은 18-35세 사이 모든 환자를 조사하여 척추 골절 등의 수술을 받은 과거력, 시상면과 연관된 질환 (측만증, 요추 분리증, sheumermon씨 병 등), 직업력 (운동선수, 운전사 및 육체적 노동자), 체질량지수(BMI>30 kg/m2), 흡연력이 있는 환자114명을 제외한 117명을 대상으로 하였다. 시상면상 정렬의 지표인 골반 입사각(PI), 천추 경사(SS), 요추 경사각(LT), 요추 전만각(LL), 첨 요추(LA)를 측정하여 요추 퇴행성 추간판 수 및 중증도, 탈출된 추간판의 수와 상관 관계를 조사하였다. 결과: 골반 입사각, 천추 경사 및 요추 전만각은 요추 퇴행성 추간판 수와 중간 정도의 상관 관계를 보였다(r=-0.451, p <0.001; r=-0.433, p <0.001; r=-0.425, p <0.001). 최소유의확률방법으로 3개 이상의 다발성 요추 퇴행성 추간판이 있는 골반 입사각에 대한 최적의 절사값(cut-off value), PI= 45.6을 산출하였다. 결론: 요천추의 시상면상 정렬을 나타내는 지표인 골반 입사각, 천추 경사 및 요추 전만각이 작을수록 퇴행성 추간판의 수 및 탈출된 추간판의 수는 증가 하였고 골반 입사각이 45.6도 이하일 때 요추 추간판의 퇴행성 변화가 3개 이상의 분절을 가질 가능성이 높았다.

EU의 대북정책 특징과 한반도 균형자로서의 역할 가능성 연구

The purpose of this article is to analysis and prospect the possibility that the European Union has possibility to be stabilizer for Korean Peninsula in the near future. The European Union's policy towards the DPRK was not the results of the DPRK's offensive strategy but was processing under the frame of ‘Towards a New Asia Strategy’. The main purpose of the EU's relationship enlargement with the DPRK from member states to European Union level was to reduce the external risks and internal conflicts during European Integration. And there were EU's intentions which tried to raise reputation in Asia and to confirm EU identity at the back. Under such circumstances, the twelve Central and Eastern European countries joined the EU, which was motivation associated with North Korea's human rights. In consequence, the formal relationship between the EU and the DPRK became worse. Aside from the return of DPRK nuclear crisis and the broader question of human rights, the EU has been making process a new program that could help pay for a possible humanitarian emergency, such as technical and food aid in the DPRK. The investment on the DPRK of ignored ‘informal behavior’ such as Multinational Corporation is increasing slowly at national level. As a result of that, the more investment of Multinational Corporation on DPRK is increasing the more likely European Union is to become a stabilizer for Korean Peninsula and to contribute establishment of new identity about North Korea as an important actor a in the near future. 본 논문은 유럽연합의 대북정책을 분석하고, 이 결과를 토대로 향후 유럽연합의 한반도에서 균형자로서의 역할 가능성에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 탈냉전 시기의 유럽연합의 대북정책은 북한의 적극적 공세의 결과라기보다는 ‘신아시아 전략’의 큰 틀 속에서 진행되었다. 유럽연합이 북한과의 외교정상화를 통해 개별 회원국 차원에서 공동체 차원으로 대북정책을 포함시킨 것은 유럽연합의 심화와 확대 속에서 나타난 내적 갈등 요인과 외적 위험요소를 분산하기 위함이었다. 즉 유럽연합의 대북 정책의 이면에는 아시아 지역에서 자신의 정치경제적 위상을 제고하려는 의도와 더불어 유럽연합의 정체성을 확인하려는 의도가 있었다. 유럽연합은 대북협력정책을 경제 및 정치통합과정의 심화·확대과정에서 내재적 가치를 실현하고 동질성을 확인하는 좋은 기회로 활용하고 있다. 그러나 유럽통합의 심화는 자연스럽게 인권을 강조하게 되었고, 그 결과 양측 간의 공식적인 관계는 악화 되었다. 그럼에도 유럽연합은 북핵 문제의 재발과 인권 문제와는 별도로 북한에 대한 인도적 지원, 식량 지원, 기술지원을 꾸준히 진행하고 있다. 이와 함께 개별국가 차원에서 자원 및 기간산업 선점 목적의 대북한 투자를 늘리는 초국적기업들의 숫자가 증가하고 있다. 국가적 시장 간의 상호의존관계와 상호침투과정의 증가는 초국가성이 정치적이고 경제적인 강력한 이데올로기로 기능하게 하고, 국가나 초국가 제도도 시장의 초국가적인 요구에 부응하게끔 된다. 따라서 유럽연합은 한반도에서 투자만큼의 균형자 역할과 새로운 국제 변수로 작용할 가능성이 있다고 하겠다.

The old house at No'eun-ri, located in Hongseong-gun Hongbuk-myeon of the Chungcheong Nam-do province, really seems like the old house of late Seong Sam-mun who died in 1456. The original structure of the house seems to have been symmetrical, in terms of its left and right sides, and the females' chamber(Anchae) as well as the guest quarters(Haeng'rang-chae) would have featured a Matbae(맞배) fashion. The flank chamber and corridor would have displayed a multi-storied shape, and people would have been able to traverse the inside of the house all the way to the second story of the residence. We can see such shapes and dispositions from other 'ㅁ'-shaped houses - found in Chungnam and Gyeongbuk regions - which are now considered as distinct characteristics of certain residences constructed before the war with the Japanese in the 1590s, confirmed from extant vestiges and historical records of that time period. It can be concluded that the old house at No'eun-ri does harbor the traits and elements that resembled the upper class residences of the Joseon dynasty's early half period.

대규모 로그를 사용한 유저 행동모델 분석 방법론

사용자로그는 많은 숨겨진 정보를 포함하고 있지만 데이터 정형화가 이루어지지 않았고, 데이터 크기도 너무 방대하여 처리하기 까다로워서 아직 밝혀져야 할 부분들을 많이 내포하고 있다. 특히 행동마다의 모든 시간정보를 포함하고 있어서 이를 응용하여 많은 부분을 밝혀낼 수 있다. 하지만 로그데이터 자체를 바로 분석으로 사용할 수는 없다. 유저 행동 모델 분석을 위해서는 별도의 프레임워크를 통한 변환과정들이 필요하다. 이 때문에 유저 행동모델 분석 프레임워크를 먼저 파악을 하고 데이터에 접근해야 한다. 이 논문에서는, 우리는 유저 행동모델을 효과적으로 분석하기 위한 프레임워크 모델을 제안한다. 본 모델은 대규모 데이터를 빨리 처리하기 위한 분산환경에서의 MapReduce 프로세스와 유저별 행동분석을 위한 데이터 구조 설계에 대한 부분을 포함한다. 또한 실제 온라인 서비스 로그의 구조를 바탕으로 어떤 방식으로 MapReduce를 처리하고 어떤 방식으로 유저행동모델을 분석을 위해 데이터 구조를 어떤식으로 변형할지 설명하고, 이를 통해 어떤 방식의 모델 분석으로 이어질지에 대해 상세히 설명한다. 이를 통해 대규모 로그 처리방법과 분석모델 설계에 대한 기초를 다질 수 있을 것이다. User activity log includes lots of hidden information, however it is not structured and too massive to process data, so there are lots of parts uncovered yet. Especially, it includes time series data. We can reveal lots of parts using it. But we cannot use log data directly to analyze users' behaviors. In order to analyze user activity model, it needs transformation process through extra framework. Due to these things, we need to figure out user activity model analysis framework first and access to data. In this paper, we suggest a novel framework model in order to analyze user activity model effectively. This model includes MapReduce process for analyzing massive data quickly in the distributed environment and data architecture design for analyzing user activity model. Also we explained data model in detail based on real online service log design. Through this process, we describe which analysis model is fit for specific data model. It raises understanding of processing massive log and designing analysis model.
