It usually affects cervicofacial, thoracic and abdominal tissue. Cervicofacial type has the highest percentage of occurrence with 50%. Actinomycosis frequently occurs following dental extraction, jaw surgery, chronic infection or poor oral hygiene. It may also be considered as an opportunistic infection in immunocompromised patients such as malignancy, human immunodeficiency virus infection, diabetes mellitus, steroid usage or alcoholism. But, actinomycosis rarely occurs in adults with normal immunity and rare in the esophagus. We report an unusual case of esophageal actinomycosis which was developed in a patient with normal immunity and improved by therapy with intravenous penicillin G followed oral amoxicillin, and we also reviewed the associated literature.
한국인 구강암 환자에서 인유두종 바이러스의 발현율 분석

Purpose: High risk human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main source of cervical cancer, nearly up to 100%. Because there are no affordable data regarding the incidence of HPV in different sites of oral cavity, the purpose of this study is to review the previous article and to find out about the incidence and types of HPV in specific areas of oral cavity. Methods: We examined a total of 106 patients with oral cavity cancer for HPV detection. Available DNA chip (MY-HPV chip kit$^{(R)}$, Mygene Co., Korea) was used for the detection of low risk HPV types (6, 11, 34, 40, 42, 43, 44) and high risk HPV types (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 54, 56, 58). Patients were previously diagnosed as invasive cancer of oral cavity. Specimen used for HPV detection was extracted from the main mass during resection and were tested for HPV type, performed by a DNA chip method. Results: Histologic results showed that there were squamous cell carcinomas, mucoepidermoid carcinomas, cystadenocarcinomas, leiomyosarcoma and etc. Among HPV positive cancer, 2 patients showed positive for high risk HPV type 16, 3 patients showed positive for low risk HPV type 6 and the other 2 patients were positive for other types of HPV. Of the 7 patients with HPV positive, 4 patients were on the tongue, 3 on the lower gingiva. Conclusion: Most of the HPV positive cancers were on the tongue in our study. Cervical cancer of HPV infection is reported to be increasing in our society and because HPV infection largely spreads by sexual contact, the incidence of oral cancer with HPV infection is greatly assumed to be on the increase, simultaneously. Because the incidence of HPV on specific areas of oral cavity among oral cancer patients is not identified, more studies are ongoing.
자동변속기 이너레이스 스플라인 치형의 정밀열간단조 공정에 관한 연구

In this study, the hot forging technology for precision forming of spline teeth of the inner race in the auto-transmission was developed in order to minimize its finishing allowance. Several blocker and finisher shapes for the precision hot forging process of the inner race were proposed and the forging processes were analyzed using the three-dimensional finite element method. The optimum hot forging process was obtained considering some parameters such as metal flow patterns, forging defects and forming load. Blocker and finisher dies for the hot forging process were designed by selecting the most suitable shapes obtained from the finite element analysis. Experimental works were also performed in order to verify the optimum design of hot forging process.

유사 재해의 반복적 발생은 건설재해의 가장 큰 특징 중 하나이다. 안전사고 예방을 위한 유사 재해사례는 수행 예정인 작업의 위험을 발견하고 안전 대책을 수립하는데 직접적인 정보를 제공한다. 과거 재해 사례들을 검색하여 안전관리 분야에 사용하기 위해 많은 검색시스템들이 개발되었다. 하지만 현장의 다양한 조건과 반영한 결과를 얻기 위해서는 수많은 검색을 수행하거나, 실제 현장의 안전관리 계획 수립 단계별 특성을 반영하지 못하는 단점이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 기존 안전관리 검색시스템들의 한계점을 개선하기 위해 정보 검색 방법과 BIM(building information modeling)을 이용한 안전관리 단계별 적용이 가능하며 현장의 상황과 유사한 재해사례를 검색하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 검색 시스템은 BIM의 객체를 추출하여 이를 현장 정보 DB와 결합하여 질의를 구성한다. 그리고 질의를 과거 재해사례 DB와 비교하여 가장 유사한 과거 재해 사례를 찾고, 안전 관리자에게 정보를 제공한다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 안전 관리자는 검색 결과를 얻기 위한 과도한 질의 생성을 줄일 수 있다. 또한 BIM 객체를 통해 과거 유사한 재해가 발생한 현장의 좌표를 얻을 수 있어 위험을 쉽게 인지할 수 있을 것이다. The repetitive occurrence of similar accident is one of the biggest feature in construction disasters. Similar accident cases provide direct information for finding risk of scheduled activities and planning safety countermeasure. Many systems are developed to retrieve and use past accident cases by researchers. However, these researches have some limitations for performing too much retrieval to obtain results considering construction site conditions or not reflecting characteristics of safety planning steps or both. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes accident case retrieval system that can search similar accident cases. It also helps safety planning using information retrieval and building information modeling. The retrieval system extracts BIM objects and composes a query set combining BIM objects with site information DB. With past accident cases DB compares a query set, it seeks the most similar case. And results are provided to safety managers. Based on results of this study, safety managers can reduce excessive query generation. Furthermore, they can be easy to recognize risk of a construction site by obtaining coordinations of objects where similar accidents occurred.

Indium tin oxide (ITO) films were prepared using radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering method, magnets were equipped near the target in the sputter to bring the plasma near the target. The effect of magnetic field that brings the plasma near the substrate was compared with that of substrate heating. The effect of substrate heating on the grain size of the ITO thin film was larger than that of the magnetic field. However, the grain size of the ITO thin film was larger when the magnetic field was applied near the substrate during the sputtering process than when the substrate was not heated and the magnetic field was not applied. If stronger magnetic field is applied near the substrate during sputtering, it can be expected that the ITO thin film with good electrical conductivity and high transparency is obtained at low substrate temperature. When magnetic field of 90 Gauss was applied near the substrate during sputtering, the mobility of the ITO thin film increased from 15.2 $cm^2/V.s$ to 23.3 $cm^2/V.s$, whereas the sheet resistivity decreased from 7.68 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ to 5.11 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$.
LiNi<sub>1/3</sub>Mn<sub>1/3</sub>Co<sub>1/3</sub>O<sub>2</sub>계 정극활물질을 적용한 전극 제조조건 최적화 연구

A fabrication condition of the cathode electrode was optimized in a lithium secondary battery. The $LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ powders were used as a cathode material. The $LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$/Li cells were prepared with a certain formulation and their cycleability and rate-capability were evaluated. Optimum electrode composition simulated from the evaluated value was 86.3: 5.6: 8.1 in mass $\%$ of active material: binder: conducting material. Discharge capacity decreased markedly as the press ratio exceeded $30\%$ during preparation of the electrode. Discharge performance at a high current rate deteriorated abruptly as the electrode thickness was over $120{\mu}m$.

In this study, the $LiCoO_2/LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ mixed cathode electrodes were prepared and their electrochemical performances were measured in a high cut-off voltage. As the content of $LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ increased in a mixed cathode, the reversible specific capacity and cycleability of the electrode enhanced, but the rate capability was deteriorated. On the contrary the rate capability of the cathode enhanced, but the reversible specific capacity and cycleability were deteriorated, increasing the content of $LiCoO_2$ in the mixed cathode. The cell of $LiCoO_2/LiNi_{1/3}Mn_{1/3}Co_{1/3}O_2$ ($50:50 wt\%$) mixed cathode delivered a discharge capacity of ca. 168 mAh/g at a 0.2 C rate. The capacity of the cell decreased with the current rate and a useful capacity of ca. 152 mAh/g was obtained at a 2.0 C rate. However, the cell showed very stable cycleability: the discharge capacity of the cell after 20th charge/discharge cycling maintains ca. 163 mAh/g.
Rat periodontal ligament cell에서의 RANKL mRNA의 발현

As the periodontal ligament cells show similar phenotype with osteoblasts, periodontal ligament cells are thought to play an important role in alveolar bone remodeling. According to recent studies, receptor activation of nuclear factor $^{\kappa}B$ ligand (RANKL) and osteoprotegerin (OPG) are expressed in periodontal ligament cells during tooth movement. Also periodontal ligament cells is known to play an important role in the progression of periodontal disease. This study was designed how the expression of RANKL and OPG in periodontal ligament cells was regulated by IL-1 ${\beta}in$ the concentration of $0.01{\sim}10$ ng/ml. The results are as follows; 1. Periodontal ligament cells which stimulated by 1L-1 ${\beta}$ increased soluble RANKL synthesis by dose-dependent pattern in the concentration of $0.01{\sim}10$ ng/ml. 2. 1L-1 ${\beta}$ induced mRANKL expression in dose-dependent manner in the concentration of $0.01{\sim}5$ ng/ml. 3. mOPG expression was not to be influenced by 1L-1 ${\beta}$. These results suggested that rat periodontal ligament cells could regulate osteoclastogenesis by stimulation of production of RANKL.

Urethane acrylate oligomer was synthesized and used in a gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) and then its electrochemical performances were evaluated. $LiCoO_2/GPE/graphite$ cells were prepared and their performances depending on discharge currents and temperatures were evaluated. The precursor containing $5 vol\%$ curable mixture had a low viscosity relatively. ionic conductivity of the gel polymer electrolyte at room temperature and $-20^{\circ}C$ was ca. $5.9\times10^{-3}S{\cdot}cm^{-1}\;and\;1.4times10^{-3}S{\cdot}cm^{-1}$, respectively. GPE showed good electrochemical stability up to potential of 4.5V vs. RLi/Li^+.\;LiCoO_2/GPE/graphite$ cell showed a good high-rate and low-temperature performance.
