Objectives: For the purpose of preparing the fundamental data and assessing the status of exposure level of chemical substances in painting process. Methods and Materials: The author determined the concentration of organic solvents, lead(Pb), Chromium(Cr), and Toluene-2, 4-diisocyanate(TDI) in air of painting process to 90 industries classified by 15 types of manufacturing industry during a period from Jan. 1st 2001 to Dec. 31st 2001. Results: The results were as follows: 1. The geometric mean level of each chemical substance was 0.1706 ppm for exposure index in organic solvents, 0.0019㎎/㎥ for Pb, 0.0024 ㎎/㎥ for Cr, and 0.0004ppm for TDI, respectively. 2. The exposure level of each chemical substances by type of painting was the highest in dipping and brush painting for organic solvent, in spray-painting for TDI, and in spray gun-painting for Pb and Cr, respectively. 3. The exposure level of each chemical substances by type of local ventilation equipment was higher in enclosed and booth type for organic solvents. Cr, and TDI, and in exterior type for Pb, respectively than those of other types. 4. The exposure level of each chemical substances by type of hazardous material arresting media was higher in using water for organic substances, in using bag filter for Pb, TDI, respectively than those of other types. Conclusion: According to above results, this study suggests that the exposure level by type of industry exceeded the exposure level in wooden furniture and metal furniture manufacturing industry for organic solvents and Pb, respectively.

■ Objectives The purpose of this study was to estimate qualitatively various bulk deposition flux of insoluble heavy metal components by applying regional and seasonal distribution. our institution from January 1980 to December 31th, 2001. ■ Materials and Methods Dustfall particles were collected by the modified American dust jar (wide inlet bottle type) at 6 sampling sites in Pusan area from March, 1999 to February, 2000. Five chemical species (Cd, Cr, Mn, Ni and Pb) were analyzed by AAS(Perkin-Elmer 4100ZL). ■ Results The mean values of each heavy metal concentrations were Cd for 3.947 g/㎢/month, Cr for 0.191 ㎏/㎢/month, Mn for 0.375 ㎏/㎢/month, Ni for 0.176 ㎏/㎢/month, and Pb for 0.823 ㎏/㎢/month. ■ Conclusions Insoluble heavy metal amount of regional variations were found in order of industrial zone, coastal zone, commercial zone, agricultural zone and residential zone.
Coevaporation에 의한 cd₁-xZn_(x)S 박막 제작 및 특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, structural optical and electrical properties of Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S thin films prepared by coevaporation method were studied. Also, effects of ZnS mole ratio(x) to CdS on properties of thin film Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S/CdTe solar cells were investigated. When the ZnS mole ratio was less than 0.85, the crystal structure of Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S films was hexagonal with the c axis aligned perpendicular to the substrate. For x>0.85, however, the Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S films were grown with cubic zincblende structire. As the ZnS mole ratio increased the lattice constant of Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S films rapidly increased with ZnS mole ratio. The open circuit voltage of Cd₁xZnxS/CdTe solar cells increased with x due to reducing of the electron affinity difference between Cd₁xZnxS and CdTe films. However, the increase of series resistance due to the high resistivity of Cd_(1-x)Zn_(x)S films results on reducing conversion efficiency.

In The Merchant of venice, Shylock is a complex and powerful character, the villain and the victim coexist in him. As villain he is a threatening force against the Christian society. He is censured by all but Tubal, his Jew colleague and is called "devil" nine times. As victim, he is a scapegoat for the maintenance of the Christian society. In the trial scene, Antonio tries to force him to become a Christian; but it is impossible for Shylock, Jew to the core, to convert to Christianity. In the end, Shylock is involuntarily excluded from the comic community of the play. On the whole, he asks us to alternate between "particpant" and "spectator" of the action.
정신분열병 환자 가족을 위한 한 정신교육적 가족치료 모형의 효과

연구목적 : 본 교실에서 정신분열병 환자 가족을 대상으로 시행 중인 장기 정신교육적 가족치료모형을 소개하고, 이모형이 가족의 대처방식과 우울증상, 환자가 자각하는 가족의 정서적 지지와 우울증상, 재입원율 및 사회재활상태에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 방 법 : 연구대상은 DSM-IV 진단기준에 의해 정신분열병으로 진단받고 외래 통원치료를 받고 있는 환자와 그 보호자였다. 교육군은 전체 19회 교육 중 최소 ⅔이상 참여한 11명의 환자와 가족이었고 비교육군은 부산소재의 종합병원에서 가족교육을 받지 않고 통원치료만을 받았던 11명의 환자와 가족이었다. 정신교육적 가족치료 모형의 효과는 가족의 대처방식과 우울증상, 환자가 자각하는 가족의 정서적 지지와 우울증상, 재입원율, 사호재활 실태로 나누어 평가했다. 평가도구는 The Ways of Coping Checklist의 국내번안용, Family Emotional Support Questionnaire for Transaction. Beck Depression Inventory를 이용했다. 재입원율 및 사회재활 실태에 대한 평가는 환자 및 가족과의 면담을 통해 조사했다. 결 과 : 본 연구의 정신교육적 가족치료 모형 실시 후 가족의 대처방식 중 적극적 대처는 교육군운 의미있게 증가한 반면 비교육군에서는 변화가 없었다. 소극적 대처 교육군은 의미있게 감소했으나 비교육군에서는 변화가 없었다. 가족치료모형 실시 전 가족들은 양군 모두 심한 우울증상을 갖고 있었다. 가족치료모형 실시 후 가족의 우울증상은 교육군에서 감소, 비교육군은 증가를 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 환자가 지각하는 가족의 정서적 지지 평가척도점수는 교육군은 의미있는 증가를 보였으나 비교육군에서는 변화가 없었다. 환자의 우울증상의 교육군에서는 현저한 감소를 보인 반면 비교육군은 상반되게 증가했다. 가족의 적극적 대처가 환자가 자각하는 정서적 지지의 증가 및 우울증상 감소와 의미있는 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 교육군의 환자들이 비교육군의 환자들보다 장기가족교육 종료시점과 9개월 경과 후의 추적 평가에서 재입원율이 현저히 낮았고, 사회재활상태도 좋았다. 결 론 : 본 연구에서 실시된 장기 가족교육모형은 가족의 대처방식을 향상시키고, 우울증상의 감소를 가져오며, 환자가 자각하는 가족의 정서적 지지 향상 및 우울증상의 호전을 가져오고, 재입원율의 저하 및 사회재활의 향상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. Objectives : This study was performed to introduce a psychoeducational family therapy model for the families of schizophrenic patient and to investigate the effect of this model on the changes in coping style and depressive symptoms of the family members, and in perception of emotional support by families and depressive symptoms of patients. Methods : Subjects were schizophrenic out-patients, who fufilled DSM-IV diagnostic criteria, and their families. The members of "education group" were 11 families and patients who participated in more than two thirds of 19 sessions of the program. The members of "non-education group" were 11 families and patients who had no experience of family education and were treated in a general hospital in Pusan. Clinical ratings were performed using by The Ways of Coping Checklist, Family Emotional Support Questionnaire for Transactions, and Beck Depression Inventory. Results : Coping style was changed positively, in education group but not in non-education group. The depressive symptoms of families were decreased in educated group and increased in non-educated group, although there were no statistical significance. In education group, patients felt much better emotional support by their families than patients in non-education group did. At the same time, their depressive symptoms were significantly reduced. The patients from education group were on more successful rehabilitation than those from non-education group were. Conclusion : Our results suggest that this psychoeducational family therapy model would be helpful to induce the positive changes in coping styles and reduce the depressive symptoms of family members, and it could also induce the reduction of depressive symptoms of schizophrenic patients and help their rehabilitation.
전달행렬에 의한 탄성지반에 놓인 축대칭 원추-원통형 탱크 해석

Even though there are many analysis methods of circular tanks on elastic foundation, the finite element method requires a number of memory spaces computation time to solve large stiffness equations, In this study many the simplified methods are applied to analyze a cone-cylinder tank on elastic foundation. By the given analysis methods, direct stiffness method and foundation matrix method, the con-cylinder tank was transformed into the skeletonized frame structure. The frame structure was drivided into several finite elements. The stiffness matrix of a finite element is related with the transfer matrix of the element. Thus, the transfer matrix of each finite element utilized the transfer matrix method to simplify the analysis of the tank. There were no significant difference in the results of two methods, the finite element method and the transfer matrix method. The transfer matrix method applied to a circular tank on elastic foundation resulted in four simultaneous equations to solve completely

This research is on the river control works for the river improvement through eco-environmental restoration in the urban dry streams where the urbanization of the river catchment basin mainly caused them dry. To begin with, with the hydrograph analysis of the urban stream catchment basin, the causes of being dry streams has been analyzed and the pertinent methods of protecting urban streams from being dry has been reviewed. Then, the research covered not only the possible methods of improving river water quality by building self-purification structures, but also the fish ways and bank protection works for eco-environmental restoration.
백혈병 세포주에 대한 (±)-ar-Turmerone, 자근 및 황금추출물에 의한 항암제의 세포독성 증강효과

Using the colorimetric [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide](MTT)assay, we evaluated the chemosensitivity of 8 anticancer drugs{vincristine(VCR), vinblastine(VBL), adriamycin(ADR), cisplatin(CPDD), etoposide(VP-16), cytosine arabinoside(ara-C), bleomycin(Bleo) and cyclophosphamide(CYC)} and the cytotoxicity-enhancing effects of (±)-ar-turmerone and the extracts of the crude drugs {Lithospermum erythrorhizon(LE) and Scutellaria baicalensis(SB)}on the above mentioned anticancer drugs against HL-60 and KG-1 cells among 8 anticancer drugs, VCR, VBL, ADR, and CPDD inhibited the growth of both cell lines by more than 50% while VP-16, ara-C, Bleo, and CYC were less effective. (±)-ar-Turmerone had significant inhibitory effects against both cell lines, showing the ID_50 values of 11.730 ㎍/㎖ and 0.292 ㎍/㎖ for HL-60 and KG-1 cells. respectively. But the extracts of LE and SB roots showed no significant cytotoxic effects. According to ID_50 values, the cytotoxicities of VCR, VBL and ADR against HL-60 were enhanced two, eight and three times by mixing (±)-ar-turmerone, five, seven and three times by adding the extract of LE root, and twenty, six and three times by mixing the extract of SB root, respectively. The cytotoxicities of the above mentioned drugs against KG-1 cell were enhanced two, seven and three times by mixing (±)-ar-turmerone, two, three and three times by conbining wilth the extract of LB root, and two, five and two times by adding the extract of SB root, respectively. The cytotoxicity-potentiating effects of (±)-ar-turmerone and the extracts of LE and SB roots against HL-60 cell were greater than KG-1 cell.
현대 박물관 건축에 나타나는 상징성의 유추 근거와 구현 방식

This study shows how an architect, when he designs a museum, analogizes symbolism and clarifies relations between the basis of analogy and its characteristics through the classification of materialization methods of symbolism. The basis of analogy can be divided into two groups: ①an analogy based on internal reason like an exhibition program; ②an analogy based on external reason like a sense of place. Two materialization methods are a symbolism expressed partially and a symbolism expressed wholly. The former can be classified into two cases: ①disposition of a specific object in the foreground; ② exposure of sheds or skylights. The latter can also be divided into two: ① imagination of a museum formally; ②consideration of a sense of place. Among them, the example which considers a sense of place corresponds to an analogy based on external reason, the others are results of an analogy based on internal reason. In the case of the analogy based on internal reason, a museum can catch sight of visitors easily due to a distinction against neighboring context. In the case of the analogy based on external reason, a museum can be harmonized easily with environment formally or metaphorically.
