『源氏物語』 前篇에 나타난 光源氏의 世界는 그의 王權成就라고 하는 宿世의 榮華 實現과 그의 사랑의 世界로 區分할 수 있다. 그리고 그의 사랑의 世界는 다시 純粹한 사랑과 彷徨的인 사랑의 世界로 區分할 수 있다. 本 論文에서는 光源氏의 純粹한 사랑의 世界에 나타난 「유카리(ゆかり),와 「무라사키 노유카리(紫のゆかり),가 갖는 意味에 關하여 硏究해 보았다. 光源氏의 그 純粹한 사랑은 우선 무엇보다도 먼저, 돌아가신 어머니 桐壺에 대한 그리움에서부터 시작 되는 것이며, 그것은 이윽고 그 어머니를 닮은 高貴한 身分의 藤壺에 대한 사랑으로 전환된다. 그것이 그로부터 전개돼 나가는 光源氏의 사랑의 역사의 실질적인 출발점이자 根源이 된다. 그러나, 藤壺로 시작되는 純粹한 사랑의 마음은 「무라사키노유카리」로서 紫上를 향하여 나아가게 되며, 紫上는 理想的인 女人像으로서 光源氏의 사랑의 역사에 그 중심적인 위치를 확보하게 된다. 즉 「무라사키노유카리」는 紫上 自身의 뛰어난 인간적 자질로 인하여 이윽고 그 根源인 藤壺를 超越하여 자신의 독자적인 지위를 확고히 지니기에 이르는 것이다. 그러나 한편으로, 아버지 桐壺帝의 皇后인 桐壺를 사랑한 罪는, 結局, 血緣關係로서의 「유카리」에 대한 慾心으로 降嫁하게 된, 女三宮에 의해 因果應報約인 罰을 받는다고 하는 構造를 띠게 된다. 그러나 光源氏의 人生에 있어서 紫上가 完全한 理想的인 女人으로 자리잡게 되는것은, 女三宮의 降嫁를 통하여 紫上가 人生의 孤獨을 超越했을 때, 그때 비로소 이루어지게 된다. 그러나 그 형태는, 紫上에 있어서는 죽음이었고, 光源氏에게 있어서는 永遠한 女性으로서 오로지 그 마음속에 남는 것이었다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 課題는, 그렇게 해서 紫上를 잃은 光源氏가 人間으로서 과연 救濟될 수 있을 것인가 하는, 다분히 向佛敎的인 『源氏物語』의 後篇으로 이어지게 되는 것이다. 즉 『源氏物語』는, 光源氏의 宿世라고 하는 그 榮華 實現의 뒷면에서, 「유카리」를 追求 하는 人間의 慾望이 갖는 어리석은 모습을, 女三宮의 降嫁를 通하여, 그리고 眞實한 사랑의 世界인 「무라사키노유카리」의 덧없음을 光源氏와 紫上의 삶을 通하여 描寫하면서, 그 사랑의 世界의 소중함과 덧없음을 同時에 전개시키고 있었다고 생각되는 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of serious leisure on self-actualization, self-expression, self-image, and self-gratification. Specifically, this study aimed to examine what causes distresses and eustresses, and their perceptual factors. The data was collected from thirty-nine participants over four weeks using qualitative approaches. Results from this study indicated that most participants had a variety of stresses during the first two weeks and those stresses were similar to the characteristics of distresses. This study also found that several factors (i.e., skills, competitiveness, admiration to experts, and compliments) have a significant influence on coping stresses. 본 연구는 진지한 여가가 자기실현(actualization), 자기표현(self-expression), 자기상(self-image), 자기만족(self-gratification) 등에 어떤 과정을 통해 영향을 주는지 파악하고자 했다. 특히 디스트레스와 유스트레스 관점으로 접근하여 디스트레스를 일으키는 주요 요인이 무엇인지, 또 유스트레스를 지각하기 위해서는 어떤 요인들이 필요한지 파악하고자 했다. 본 연구에서는 이 같은 일련의 경험 과정을 이해하기 위해, 여가 참여자가 진지한 여가 유형을 본인 스스로 선택하게 하고 여가 일기를 작성하게 했으며, 최종적으로 총 39명의 참여자가 4주에 걸쳐 작성한 여가 일기를 토대로 질적 분석을 수행했다. 분석 결과 최초 참여일로부터 2주차까지 대부분의 참여자가 극심한 스트레스에 시달리는 것으로 나타났다. 최초로 발현된 스트레스는 디스트레스의 성격이 강했으나 기술 습득 및 경쟁심이 유발, 숙련자(혹은 프로선수)에 대한 동경심, 칭찬 등이 관련 스트레스를 극복하는데 영향을 미쳤다.

Application of the L-index to the Delineation of Market Areas of Retail Businesses

As delineating market areas of retail businesses has become an interesting topic in marketing field, Lee and Leerecently suggested a noteworthy method, which applied the hydrological analysis of geographical informationsystem (GIS), based on Christaller’s central place theory. They used a digital elevation model (DEM) whichinverted the kernel density of retail businesses, which was measured by using bandwidths of pre-determined500, 1000 and 5000 m, respectively. In fact, their method is not a fully data-based approach in that they usedpre-determined kernel bandwidths, however, this paper has been planned to improve Lee and Lee’s method byusing a kind of data-based approach of the L-index that describes clustering level of point feature distribution. The case study is implemented to automobile-related retail businesses in Seoul, Korea with selected Kernelbandwidths, 1211.5, 2120.2 and 7067.2 m from L-index analysis. Subsequently, the kernel density is measured,the density DEM is created by inverting it, and boundaries of market areas are extracted. Following the study,analysis results are summarized as follows. Firstly, the L-index can be a useful tool to complement the Lee andLee’s market area analysis method. At next, the kernel bandwidths, pre-determined by Lee and Lee, cannot beuniformly applied to all kinds of retail businesses. Lastly, the L-index method can be useful for analyzing thespace structure of market areas of retail businesses, based on Christaller’s central place theory.

Assessing the Appropriateness of the Spatial Distribution of Standard Lots Using the L-index

Standard lots, which are used to assess values of individual lots in Korea, have been criticized for theirimproper distribution. However, there has been very little evaluation for the spatial distribution of standard lots,and an evaluation method has never been developed. In order to overcome this situation, we attempt to assessthe appropriateness of the spatial distribution of standard lots using the L-index and Monte Carlo simulation. The L-index is a well-known indicator of the complete spatial randomness (CSR) of points in spatial statistics. If the L-index of standard lots is similar to that of individual lots, the former is considered to be randomlydistributed according to the latter. By analyzing L-indices of two study areas, Gangnam and Seongdong, we finda statistically significant difference in Gangnam area and a relatively small difference in Seongdong area. Weconfirm that the spatial distribution of standard lots is not CSR and that the L-index is useful as an evaluationmethod. These results suggest that the standard lot selection and management guidelines need to be modified toapply the spatial distribution of individual lots to the standard lot selection process.
