        이 논문은 우리나라 부부생활에 있어 무엇을 중요하다고 생각하며 이에 대한 만족도는 어느 정도나 되는지를 알아보기 위해 기혼여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 이 논문에서는 또한 부부생활에서 아내강간에 대한 인식과 이에 대한 대응방안에 관해서도 조사하였다. 일반적으로 부부생활에서 여성들이 중요하게 생각하는 것은 경제력, 남편과의 대화, 자녀문제 순이었으나 이에 대한 만족도는 낮게 나와 중요도와 만족도 간의 차이를 보였다. 또한 많은 여성들이 부부강간을 경험하고 있고 이를 불법이라고 생각하지만 그로 인해 이혼하거나 고소하지는 않겠다고 하여 아내강간을 현실적으로는 인정하지 않고 있었다. The purposes of this study were to find what Korean married couples consider as important things in their marriages and how much they are satisfied with their marriages. This study also investigated the perception on wife rape in marriage and the coping methods against this matter. The participants of this study were married women and they answered to questionnaires. The results indicated that married women thought that finance, conversation with husband, and matters of children are important in their marriages in order. However, the satisfaction degrees of importance and satisfaction. In addition, although many women experienced wife rape and thought it is illegal, they didn't consider a divorce or an accusation due to this problem. That is, they actually didn't recognize wife rape as a serious problem.

      • Piplartine과 전립선암 세포사멸

        Background: Prostate cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in men worldwide.Piper species have known anti-proliferation and anti-cancer activity. This study was to examine the anti-proliferation effects of piplartine on human prostate cancer cell. Methods: PC-3 human prostate cancer cells received piplartine 15 uM for 24 hours. Microarray was performed on piplartine-treated PC-3 cells. Results: Among 253 genes which were altered by piplartine-treated PC-3 cells (>3-4 folds), 143 genes were up-regulated and 110 genes were down-regulated by piplartine in microarray. Most of genes whichwere up-regulated by piplartine were functionally classified as apoptosis, immune response related genes. Genes which were down-regulated by piplartine were functionally classified as transcription, cell cycle related genes. Conclusion: Piplartine may induce anti-tumor activity for human prostate cancer along with regulated of cell cycle and apoptotic genes in piplartine-induced PC-cells.

        한국인 두경부암종 환자에서 Cytochrome P450 1A1,2E1 및 N-acetyltransferase 2 효소의 다형성 분석에 따른 유전적 감수성에 대한 연구

        Individual genetic susceptibilities to cancers may result from several factors including differences in xeno-biotics metabolism to chemical carcinogens, DNA repair, altered oncogenes and suppressor genes, and environmental carcinogen exposures. Among them, genetic polymorphisms of metabolizing enzymes to chemical carcinogens have been recognized as a major important host factors in human cancers. They have two main types of enzymes: the· phase I cytochrome P-450 mediating enzymes (CYPs) and phase Ⅱ conjugating enzymes. The purpose of this study is to determine the frequencies of genotypes of phase I (CYP1A1 and CYP2E1) and phase Ⅱ (NAT2) metabolizing enzymes in healthy control and head and neck cancer patients of Korean and to identify the relative high risk genotypes of these metabolizing enzymes to head and neck cancer in Korean. The author has analyzed 132 head and neck cancer patients and 113 healthy controls using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) . The results were as following; 1.The frequencies of genotypes of CYP1A1, CYP2El and NAT2 in healthy control were as following; CYP1A1 exon 7 polymorphism; Ile / Ile: Ile/Val: Va1/Va1 = 59.3%: 36.3%: 4.4% CYP2El Pst I polymorphism, C1/Cl: C1/C2: C2/C2 = 61.1%: 32.1%: 6.2% NAT2 polymorphism; F/F: F/S: S/S = 43.4%: 48.7%: 8.0% 2.In analysis of phase I enzyme, Val/Val genotype in CYP1A1 exon 7 polymorphism and C2/C2 genotype in CYP2El Pst I polymorphism were associated with relative high risks to head and neck cancers (Odds' ratio: 2.09 and 1.37, respectively). 3.Among the genotypes of NAT2 enzyme polymorphism, S/S genotype of NAT2 enzyme had 1.03 times of relative risk to head and neck cancers. 4.In combined genotyping of CYP1A1, CYP2El, and NAT2 enzymes polymorphisms, the patients with Va1/Va1 and Cl/Cl, C2/C2 and fast acetylator, and Va1/Va1 and fast acetylator had higher relative risks than the patients with each baseline of combined genotypes (Odds' ratio: 2.82, 1.98 and 2.1, respectively) . These results suggest the combined genotypes of Va1/Va1 and Cl/Cl , C2/C2 and fast acetylator, and Val/Val and fast acetylator were more susceptible to head and neck cancers in Korean. And genotyping of metabolizing enzymes could be useful for predicting individual susceptibility to head and neck cancer.

      • 축우 부루셀라병의 ELISA 진단법에 관한 연구

        Enzyme-linked Immuno sorbent Assay (ELISA) for the serological diagnosis oi Bruceiia abortus was developed and compared with plate aggluhnation test Cell wall antigen was extracted from Brucella abortus 1119-3 by sonicabon and with a sodium deoxychlate solution Optimum protein concentra tion of coating antigen 0.4㎍/100㎕ protein on each microtiter plate well. Horse radish peroxidase(HRP) labled protein-G was used as a tracer of reacted antibodies ELISA confirmed the agreeable results of 40 rases out of 43 cases by plate aggulutination test ELISA diagnosed positive cases (10 out of 12) and negatiw cases (1 out of 12) with dubious sera by plate agglutination test From this results EL ISA could be used for the early diagnostic tools of Brucellosis in cattle.

      • 가와사끼 병 환아에서 이상뇌파와 신경학적 합병증 발현과의 연관성에 대한 고찰

        목적 : 가와사끼 병의 뇌파 소견 및 다른 임상인자들과의 연관성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 1994년 1월부터 1995년 12월 사이에 순천향대학 천안병원 소아과에 입원한 23명의 신경학적으로 정상인 가와사끼 병 환아에게 뇌파검사를 실시하여 이를 검사시기, 성별, 연령, 혈소판, 간기능 검사치, 그리고 동맥류 유무등의 임상인자들과 비교하였다. 결과 : 이상뇌파가 23명중 52.2%인 12명에게서 관찰되었으며, 이상뇌파로는 예파 및 극파, 극·서파 복합 양상과 전반적인 배경파의 서파양상이 나타났다. 뇌파의 검사시기가 진단부터 1주 이내인 경우에 이상뇌파의 빈도가 그 후보다 의미있게 높았으나, 그 밖의 다른 임상인자와의 연관성은 별 의미가 없었다. 결론 : 가와사끼 병 초기에 이상뇌파가 나타나는 것은 비록 신경적 증상은 없지만 중추 신경계가 영향을 받는다는 간접적인 증거로 생각할 수 있어 향후 신경적 합병증 발생 여부에 대한 면밀한 관찰이 필요하다고 생각된다. Purpose : This study is to find out if there is any association between EEG abnormalities in Kawasaki disease with other clinical factors. Methods : We performed EEG in 23 Kawasaki disease patients without any neurologic sign who admitted in Soonchunhyang Chunan Hospital from 1994. 1. to 1995. 12. and compared it with sex, age, platelet count, liver function test and presence of coronary artery aneurysm. Results : Abnormal EEG findings were observed in 12 of 23 patients(52.2%) and as for abnormal EEG findings, sharp, spike, spike & slow wave complex, and generalized slow background activity were noted. When EEG was performed within a week after the diagnosis, the incidence of abnormalities of EEG increased significantly but there was no correlation with other clinical factors. Conclusion : EEG abnormalities in the early stage of Kawasaki disease indicate that although there is no abnormal neurologic signs clinically, central nervous system might be affected and there should be a close observation for the developement of neurologic complication.

      • Resistant Mechanism of Escherichia coli to HK3140-A New Fluoroquinolone

        In our study, the resistant mechanism of Escherichia coli to a new fluoroquinolone-HK3140 (Kim et al., 1991) was characterized. In the presence of carbonylcyanide m-chlorophenyl hydrozone (CCCP), HK3140 uptake was increased and in vivo DNA synthesis was inhibited. This result suggested that both susceptible and resistant strains have efflux systems which are proton gradient dependent. The resistant strain had another efflux system which was ATPase dependent. DNA synthesis of the permeabilized resistant cells was less inhibited by HK3140 than that of the permeabilized susceptible cells. Results suggested that the resistant mechanism against HK3140 came from an ATPase dependent efflux system and changes in DNA gyrase and porin proteins (Lee et al., 1992).

        본 연구에서는 영-한 기계번역에서 발생하는 언어적, 표현적 차이를 해결하고 분석과 변환을 일관성있게 수행할 수 있는 기계번역시스템을 제안한다. 원시언어를 분석하기 위한 각각의 구문 분석규칙에는 그에 해당하는 변환규칙이 정의되어 있다. 그러므로, 구문 분석 결과로부터 그에 해당하는 변환규칙을 이용해서 구(phrase)단위의 변환을 수행할 수 있다. 관용적 표현과 같이 일반적인 분석 및 변환규칙을 적용하여 해결하기 어려운 어휘 고유의 예외적인 언어현상이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 사전에 어휘 고유의 예외적인 현상을 분석규칙과 변환규칙의 형태로 저장한다. 이렇게 함으로써 기본규칙들의 복잡도를 증가시키지 않고, 일관성 있는 처리와 더불어 자연스러운 번역을 수행할 수 있다.

      • Development of Transgenic Rice Lines Expressing Coleoptera- Resistant Genes and Insect Bioassay on Rice Water Weevil

        The rice water weevil (RWW), Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus are major pests of aquatic rice plant in Korea as well as throughout the country. Larvae of RWW sucking the nourishment on roots, causes a stunted root system and reduces grain yields. To prevent these damages, we constructed various plant expression vectors, which were harbored by insecticidal genes, cryBP1 and cryIIIa, and fused with the actin promoter and/or the modified RCg2 root-preferential promoters for expressing the insect-toxic genes in leaves and roots. A cryBP1 was cloned from Bacillus popilliae, producing crystal toxin against Japanese beetle, and CryIIIa was modified from the δ-endotoxin gene of Bacillus thuringiensis ssp. tenebrionis, encoding the coleoptera-specific toxin. The vectors containing the insecticidal genes were transferred into Oryza sativa japonica cultivar, Nakdong, by Agrobacterium -mediated transformation method. Several independent transgenic lines were selected by Southern blotting and Western blotting, confirming that cryBP1 and cryIIIa genes were stably integrated into the plant genomes and were expressed in transgenic plants. Upon insect bioassay using RWW, the mortality of insect larvae on cryBP1 and cryIIIa transgenic rice lines recorded up to 41% and 34%, respectively. These results suggested that the transgenic lines can be used to develop Coleoptera-resistant cultivars and could be valuable for later application in crop breeding for insect resistance.
