      • 東津江 水系의 計量形態學的 特性

        This paper analyzed the correlation among the stream morphological characteristics and correlation between the hydraulic geometrical characteristics and frequency of discharge for Dongjin river. The purpose of this study was to provide the informations for stream development projects. The stream morphological characteristics were analyzed by the Horton's three laws. This river basin was well developed very closely to the pattern described by Horton's laws. The concept of proportional stream ordering system was employed to describe continuously the longitudinal variation of the stream morphological characteristics. The flow duration curves obtained with the daily stream flow data of 1090% frequency occurences at the gauging stations in this river basin, were expressed an exponential functions. But relationship with frequency of discharge, morphological characteristics and hydraulic geometrical characteristics were not analyzed because of lack of data. Also the result of regression analysis of meander belt and meander length showed power curve for Dongjin river

      • 한약수치에 관한 연구(제 9보) : 炒甘草 제법의 표준화 및 규격화(1) Preparing Standardization and Regulation of Stir-Frying Glycyrrhzia root(1)

        In this study, We carried out the preparing standardization and regulation of processed Glycyrrhizae Radix(PGR) which have been widely used in oriental medicines. Glycyrrhizae Radix(GR) have been generally prepared by the stir-frying, or mix-frying with honey for purpose of decreasing sweetness and augmenting vitality. Firstly, we tried to standardize PGR prepared by the stir-frying. We purchased 14 kinds of PGR and non-processed GR(NPGR) at oriental physician's offices and oriental pharmacies on a nation scale, respectively. The amounts of dry on loss, water extract, diluted ethanol extract, ether extract, total ash, acid insoluble ash, glycyrrhizin(GL), glycyrrhetic acid(GA) and liquiritin(LQ) of them were examined. The amounts of dray on loss, GL and LQ in commercial PGRs showed remarkable decrease, while GA showed increase as compared with NPGR. In order to standardize preparing method of PGR, the effect of heating time on physico-chemical parameters and biological activities were examined. Physico-chemical parameters such as dry on loss, extract amount, GL and LQ contents in PGRs showed decrease, however, GA was increased with heating time as compared with NPGR. Also, GA obtained form heat-treated GR, was found as an artifact in PGRs. PGR was more effective than NPGR in vitro test of DPPH scavenging effect and TBA-Rs reducing effect. PGR and NPGR showed potent hepatoprotective effect on CCl_(1)-intoxicated rats. Especially, PGR prepared by 80 min of heating was the most effective. Considering these results, the optimal condition for PGR preparation was 150℃ for 80min.

        진단X선에 의한 성인의 진단행위별 유효선량평가

        몬테칼로 모사를 통해 여러 가지 진단X선 검사를 받는 성인의 유효선량을 평가하는 방법체계를 구축하였다. 피사체 인형팬텀으로서 MIRD5 남성 팬텀과 ORNL 여성팬텀이 이용되었고 사용 X선 스펙트럼은 SPEC78 코드로 생산하였다. 같은 진단절차에 대해 NRPB 평가결과와 비교함으로써 계산체계를 검증하였다. 계산체계를 이용하여 흉곽, 복부, 두부 및 척추의 진단에서 AP, PA, LLAT 및 RLAT 방향으로 입사하는 X선에 대한 장기 등가선량과 유효선량을 평가하였으며, 가장 보편적인 흉곽 PA와 복부 AP의 경우 유효선량이 각각 0.029mSv와 0.44mSv로 나타났다. 흉곽 PA 1회 촬영 시 피폭하는 선량이 전통적 평가치인 0.3mSv(또는 30mrem)보다 매우 작게 나타나는 것은 진단방사선 기술의 발전뿐만 아니라 적요하는 선량개념의 차이에 기인하는 것으로서 여러 방사선 의료절차에 대한 집중적인 환자선량 평가의 필요성을 강조하는 것이다. 여기서 개발된 선량평가 체계는 CT 선량, 임부의 진단으로 인한 태아의 선량, 소아과 X선에 의한 선량 등 다른 방사선 의료절차에도 용이하게 응용될 수 있다. Methodology to evaluate the effective doses to adults undergoing various diagnostic x-ray examinations were established by Monte Carlo simulation of the x-ray examinations. Anthropomorphic mathematical phantoms, the MIRD5 male phantom and the ORNL female phantom, were used as the target body and x-ray spectra were produced by the x-ray spectrum generation code SPEC78. The computational procedure was validated by comparing the resulting doses to the results of NRPB studies for the same diagnostic procedures. The effective doses as well as the organ doses due to chest, abdomen, head and spine examinations were calculated for x-rays incident from AP, PA, LLAT and RLAT directions. For instance, the effective doses from the most common procedures, chest PA and abdomen AP, were 0.029mSv and 0.44 mSv, respectively. The fact that the effective dose from PA chest x-ray is far lower than the traditional value of 0.3mSv(or 30mrem), which results partly from the advances of technology in diagnostic radiology and partly from the differences in the dose concept employed, emphasizes necessities of intensive assessment of the patient doses in wide ranges of medical exposures. The methodology and tools established in this study can easily be applied to dose assessments for other radiology procedures; dose from CT examinations, dose to the fetus due to examinations of pregnant women, dose from pediatric radiology.

      • 곡률비 분포에 의한 유로이동해석과 유로 만곡부의 이동한계

        A study on the channel migration of rivers is very important problems in a point of view river disaster protection and river preservation. The purpose of this study is to examine the lateral migration rate by the curvature ratio (R/W) and maximum limitation of meander belt. The results of data anlysis, channel migration rate (M) represented that the zone of bend development and the zones of curvature ratio 2∼4 were lager 12% than other zones for Seom River. The range of R/W value are concentrated 2∼4 for study rivers, the value can be regarded to the possibility of bank erosion. The results of the study indicate that analysis of the channel changes in river geometry can provide the basic data for long-term development of river basin.

      • 非均質 帶水層에서의 地下水 流動에 대한 2차원 數植模型에 관한 硏究

        The role and importance of groundwater are increased with the deficiency of surface water and contamination of river on the development and management of water resources. But in recent, imprudent development gave the negative impact on the aspect of the quantity and quality of groundwater. For example, the excessive pumping leads to exhaution of groundwater, and waste materials bring about contamination of groundwater. On the contaminant problem, the groundwater flow is the important media of pollutant transport and its phase is different hydraulic conductivity. Therefore, 2-D numerical model using FEM is developed. To verify this numerical model, it is compared with Theis's analytical solution for unsteady groundwater flow and existed model(used FDM). In this study, numerical model(used FEM) gives good agreement between analytical solution and existed model(used FDM). In this numerical simulation, homogeneous aquifer is supposed to use coarse sand, heterogeneous aquifer is supposed to consist of coarse sand and coarse gravel, and coarse sand and silt. The result of numerical simulation generally shows good agreements with real groundwater flow through homogeneous and heterogeneous aquifer.

      • 21세기를 향한 국민 생활체육의 과제

        The purpose of the present study was to investigate the participation patterns of middle aged subjects, and to make suggestions for the promotion of the sport-for-all movement in Korea. The results of a questionnaire answered by 2125 middle aged male and female subjects were compared between sexes, age groups and educational back-ground using SAS computer program. The conclusions of this study were as follow: 1. Most subjects answered that they had very limited leisure time during week days and week ends. 2. It was shown that most middle aged subjects preferred to rest instead of participate in sport activities during their leisure time. 3. The intensity and frequency of sport activity were too low to improve cardio-vascular endurance. 4. To improved the availability of sport facilities, better management was recommanded.

      • 蛇行現象과 流路移動에 關한 硏究

        The results of an analysis of channel characteristics for a river basin were as follows; 1) The concave bank for the downstream of once or twice of river width from the apex of curvature should be destroyed more than enlargement channel width by flood. 2) The bedslope increased because of cut-off and all the more flux flowed if the cross-section area was constant. The results of cut-off decreased the flood-flow-level at the upstream, but the bed was eroded and tended to be deposited at the downstream. 3) Based on the momentum equation for flow in a stream bend, the force per unit area which the flow exerts on the outer of a bend was expressed by the curvature ratio which was in proportion to flow characteristics, sediment characteristics, and bend geometry. 4) Considering the construction of riverbank, the average channel migration ratio had been 4.687m/yr from 1953 to 1967 and 10.485m/yr from 1968 to 1981. Generally a distribution of bed material showed that the grain size decreasd with a flow going downstream, exept nearly after the Pal-Dang Dam, the grain size bigger in 1981 than 1967 because the Dam cut the supply of sediment, so small grains were carried away by a flows.

      • 東海岸 河口 閉塞 要因 考察 : A Study on the Causes of River Mouth Closing Along the East Coast

        The east coast seems to have remarkably different features from the west arid south coast in the geographical, geomorphological, and oceanographical senses. In this paper the auther wishes to introduce some results of investigation the causes of river mouth closing along the east coast. There are various closing form in river mouth by many causes, but the east coast has the same closing form(the ratio of closing; roughly 0.18), as well known, by the sand spit, and has not hyd-rological but littoral drift background. The river of the east coast is proved mature age from hypsometric analysis. The wave and longshore current must be principal factor to be considered, in the analysis of the closing phenomenon owing to littoral drittoral drift. The research of the blown sand is considered valuable for the next study of this subject.

      • 열선을 장착한 보온재의 개발에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 복층유리 보온효율의 바로메터가 되는 열전도도의 정확한 측정을 위하여 복층유리의 열전도도 측정장치를 개발하고 이 측정장치에 대한 이론적인 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 이를 이용하여 다양한 복층유리에 대한 열전도도를 측정하였다. 열선을 장착한 복층유리의 경우 열선에 가한 전류의 증가에 따라 열전도도가 지수함수적으로 감소하였다. 판유리 및 공기층의 두께에 따라 다양한 복층유리가 생산되고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 유리의 두께를 일정하게 두고 공기층의 두께를 변화시키며 열전도도를 측정하였다. 공기층의 두께가 증가함에 따라 복층유리의 열전도도는 지수함수적으로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. In this study, an apparatus for measuring thermal conductivity has been developed to accurately measure the thermal conductivity of pair glass, which is a barometer for efficiency of keeping warm, and the theoretical model for the apparatus was suggested. Then the conductivities of various pair of glasses were measured by using this equipment. The thermal conductivities of the pair glass in which the warm wire was installed decreased exponentially as the applied current increased. For the test fixing the thickness of glass in pair glass and varying the thickness of air layer, the conductivity also decreased exponentially as the air layer thickness increased.
