The purposes of this case study are (a) to systematically review the current state of human resource management of Kangwon Land, which has been a subject of social interest among public enterprises for which previous studies have been relatively lacking, and (b) to find problems and seek improvement plans based on them. Data related to the human resource management status of Kangwon Land, the subject of the case study, was collected online using the institution’s homepage and public institution ALIO system. This study used the public sector strategic human resource administration (management) system map as a framework for the analysis. Focusing on the main components of human resource acquisition, movement, motivation, and performance evaluation, human resource management status and problems of Kangwon Land were reviewed step by step. Based on the research results, implications for the direction of human resource management of Kangwon Land were suggested, especially in terms of ethical human resource management. The direction of follow-up research to supplement the limitations of the study was discussed as well.

In the clinical practice of psychoanalysis, pervert subject exhibits unusual transference patterns different from those of psychotic and neurotic subjects, who attend therapy to alleviate the distress associated with the symptoms of their conditions or widen their understanding of themselves. The psychoanalyst is taken aback by the pervert subject’s transference, where he obtains gratification from damaging the role and function of psychoanalysis as the symbolic big Other and condemning the contradictions and limitations of reality, losing the analyst role to be his partner in embodying his fantasies, resulting in an unconscious collusive relationship. When such perverse transference is activated during clinical psychoanalysis, how should the analyst function, and what role should be assumed? To answer these questions, we investigate from Freud-Lacanian and Kleinian psychoanalytic perspectives various patterns of perverse transference, which have been reported in psychoanalytic case study literature, and the role of the analyst in working with such transference patterns. In order for the pervert subject to be able to accept symbolic castration and move on from perverse transference to be capable of desiring as one questions one’s own identity, the analyst must be capable of rejecting satisfaction in the imaginary domain, which is demanded by the subject, and maintain the position as a symbolic big Other. The analyst must also be capable of recognizing the collusive relationship established by the analyst’s countertransference and the perverse transference, and of escaping from the role of a partner unconsciously demanded by the subject, and of interpreting the dynamics of transference that are occurring in the Here and Now. While exploring these questions, we could better understand the difficulties stemming from the perverse transference condition which we faced in clinical psychoanalytical practice. We hope that the paper present an integrated treatment direction that is practically applicable to colleagues in the Korean psychoanalysis clinical field who may experience similar difficulties with meeting the pervert subject.

Objectives : This study aims to evaluate the add-on effect of herbal bath combined with acitretin in patients with psoriasis. Methods : We searched randomized controlled trials(RCTs) reporting the effect of herbal bath and acitretin combined treatment for psoriasis in 10 electronic databases from their inception to January 2023. Study collection, data extraction, and risk of bias assessment were performed by two independent researchers. Data synthesis and risk of bias evaluation was conducted using Revman 5.4. Results : Ten RCTs with 1,008 subjects were included. Herbal bath and acitretin combined treatment group showed higher average total effective rate than acitretin alone group(RR 1.39; 95% CI: 1.15-1.68, P=0.0006, I 2=0%). Herbal bath and additional treatments such as phototherapy(NB-UVB) and oral herbal medicine, combined with acitretin group also showed higher average total effective rate than acitretin alone group(RR 1.81; 95% CI: 1.47-2.22, P<0.00001, I2=43%). Herbal bath and phototherapy(NB-UVB) combined with acitretin group also showed higher average total effective rate than acitretin alone group(RR 1.51; 95% CI: 1.18-1.93, P=0.0009, I2=0%). The overall risk of bias of the included studies was unclear or of high risks. Conclusions : This review showed that the add-on of herbal bath combined with acitretin treatment could be more effective than acitretin alone treatment in patients with psoriasis. However, because of few included studies, heterogeneity between studies, and insufficient quality of included studies, further well-designed RCTs are needed to confirm the add-on effect of herbal bath on psoriasis.

Aluminum alloys, known for their high strength-to-weight ratios and impressive electrical and thermal conductivities, are extensively used in numerous engineering sectors, such as aerospace, automotive, and construction. Recently, significant efforts have been made to develop novel aluminum alloys specifically tailored for additive manufacturing. These new alloys aim to provide an optimal balance between mechanical properties and thermal/ electrical conductivities. In this study, nine combinatorial samples with various alloy compositions were fabricated using direct energy deposition (DED) additive manufacturing by adjusting the feeding speeds of Al6061 alloy and Al-12Si alloy powders. The effects of the alloying elements on the microstructure, electrical conductivity, and hardness were investigated. Generally, as the Si and Cu contents decreased, electrical conductivity increased and hardness decreased, exhibiting trade-off characteristics. However, electrical conductivity and hardness showed an optimal combination when the Si content was adjusted to below 4.5 wt%, which can sufficiently suppress the grain boundary segregation of the α- Si precipitates, and the Cu content was controlled to induce the formation of Al2Cu precipitates.

Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of combination treatment of herbal medicine for external use and western medicine for atopic dermatitis (AD). Methods: We searched randomized controlled trials (RCTs) which assess the effect of combination treatment of herbal and western medicine for AD through 8 electronic databases from the start to December 2022. The data synthesis was conducted by using Review Manager (RevMan, ver.5.4.1) and Cochrane risk-of-bias tool was used to evaluate the risk of bias. Results: 13 RCTs were included. The combination treatment group had significantly higher total efficacy rate(p<0.0001) and lower SCORAD score (p<0.00001) than the western medicine treatment group. The adverse event rate was also significantly lower in the combination treatment than the western medicine treatment group (p<0.0001). But there was no significant difference in recurrence rate (p=0.09). Conclusion: This study demonstrates that the combination treatment of herbal and western medicine could be safe and effective for AD. However, due to limits of included studies such as high heterogeneity between the literature and unclear risk of bias, further studies are warranted.

Persimmons are cultivated mostly in Asian countries especially in Korea, Japan, and China. One of the most common types of persimmons in Asia is astringent persimmon; a wild species with a characteristic astringent taste until it ripens. Persimmon Calyx is the most common domesticated persimmon species and highly commercialized currently. Persimmon calyx species is briskly used in treating a number of disease conditions including but not limited to cough and bronchial troubles. This study was therefore conducted to investigate the mechanism of interaction between stalk of persimmon and a given yeast strain. The yeast stain separated from the stalk of persimmon was inoculated into four different types of samples; Persimmon, leaves of persimmon tree with leaf blight, naturally dried stalk, and artificially dried stalk. The antimicrobial activity of the yeast strain was also tested on Coprinekkus radians, Fusarium oxysporum, and Rhizopus oryzae microorganisms. The study found that the new yeast strain inhibited the growth of C. radians, F. oxysporum, and R. oryzae which are known to be disease causing organisms to persimmon tree species. This study therefore provides vital knowledge for the effective cultivation of disease free persimmons and animatedly in preventing anthracnose or leaf blight. Our future study will aim at the taxonomic identification of the yeast strain and analysis of its secretion compounds on the culture medium. Further investigations will also explore the antimicrobial potential of the yeast strain and examine its applicability as an insecticides or fungicides in the future.
