        정서인식명확성, 정서강도, 고통감내력과 우울 및 불안 증상의 관계

        본 연구에서는 정서인식명확성, 정서강도, 고통감내력이 우울 및 불안 증상의 공병을 예측하는지 알아보고 이들의 상호작용과 우울 및 불안 증상의 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 대학생 및 대학원생 503명을 대상으로 특질 상위-기분 척도(TMMS), 정서강도 척도(AIM), 고통감내력 부족 척도(DII), 한국판 벡 우울척도 2판(K-BDI-Ⅱ), 한국판 벡 불안척도(K-BAI)를 실시하였다. K-BDI-II와 K-BAI 점수에 기반을 두어 분류된 정상군, 단일장애 증상군, 공병 증상군의 집단 간 차이검증 결과 정서인식명확성과 고통감내력 부족은 단일장애 증상군과 공병 증상군을 유의하게 구분해주었지만 정서강도는 이 두 집단을 유의하게 구분해주지 않았다. 우울 및 불안 증상 각각에 대한 위계적 중다회귀분석 결과 정서강도는 높을수록 불안 증상이, 낮을수록 우울 증상이 높게 나타나 우울과 불안 증상에 차별적으로 기여하는 변인으로 나타났다. 또한 상호작용 검증 결과 정서인식명확성과 우울 증상의 관계는 고통감내력이, 정서인식명확성과 불안 증상의 관계는 정서강도가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 정서인식명확성이 낮은 경우 고통감내력이 낮으면 우울 증상을, 정서를 강하게 경험하면 불안 증상을 더 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 정서인식명확성, 정서강도, 고통감내력이 각각 우울 및 불안 증상에 기여하는 공통기저요인이지만 이들 간의 상호작용이 우울 및 불안 증상에 차별적으로 기여함을 보여준다. The purpose of the study was to examine the role of emotional clarity, affect intensity, and distress tolerance on comorbid symptoms of depression and anxiety as well as their differential contributions to symptoms of depression and anxiety, respectively. Five hundred three undergraduate and graduate students completed the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS), Distress Intolerance Index (DII), Affect Intensity Measures (AIM), Korean-Beck Depression Inventory II (K-BDI-II), and Korean-Beck Anxiety Inventory (K-BAI). The results of the study indicated that emotional clarity and distress tolerance were significantly associated with comorbid symptoms of depression and anxiety whereas affect intensity was not. Affect intensity was differentially associated with symptoms of depression and anxiety, in which increased affect intensity was associated with anxiety symptoms while decreased affect intensity was associated with depressive symptoms. Futhermore, distress intolerance moderated the relationship between emotional clarity and depressive symptoms, and affect intensity moderated the relationship between emotional clarity and anxiety symptoms. Specifically, low levels of emotional clarity increased depressive symptoms for individuals with low distress tolerance while increased anxiety symptoms for those with high affect intensity. This study indicated common and differential roles of emotional clarity, affect intensity, and distress tolerance on anxiety and depressive symptoms.

        HVPE 방법에 의해 성장된 탄소 마이크로구의 특성

        혼합소스 HVPE 방법을 사용하여 탄소 마이크로구를 합성하였다. 소스 물질로는 그래파이트 보트에 담겨 진 Ga, Al을 사용하였고 반응가스로 암모니아, 염산, 질소 가스를 사용하였다. 탄소 마이크로구의 합성은 $1090^{\circ}C$에서 실시하였다. 질소 가스는 5000, 염산 가스는 80, 암모니아 가스는 2000 sccm으로 공급되며 반응 시간은 3시간으로 하였다. 탄소 마이크로구의 SEM 측정 결과 수백 ${\mu}m$의 지름을 가지고 매끈한 표면을 가지는 완전한 구형 모양을 가짐을 알 수 있었다. XPS 결과 탄소 마이크로구의 내부는 탄소 71.78 wt%, 산소 15.37 wt%, 황 0.32 wt%, 규소 1.97 wt%로 구성되어 있었다. 또한 TEM 분석을 통해 탄소 마이크로구가 비정질임을 알 수 있었다. 탄소 마이크로구가 합성된 것은 에피 성장 과정 중에 배양판과 같이 홈이 파져 있는 공간에서 가스 간의 흡착 반응에 의해 탄소 마이크로구의 성분들이 합성된 것으로 판단된다. The carbon microspheres of a core-shell type were grown by the method of mixed-source hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE). The surface and the cross section of the carbon microsphere grown by a new method were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The characteristics of the carbon microsphere were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and a high resolution-transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM). From these measurements, the diameters of carbon sphere were about few hundred micrometers. Furthermore, we show that the carbon microsphere of the core-shell type by mixed-source HVPE method can be grown successfully with the larger size than those of the existing one. This mixed-source HVPE method is proposed a new method for making of carbon microsphere.

        Microbial Contamination Rates of Hospital Privacy Curtains: A Prospective Culture Study

        Contaminated curtains are a reservoir of microorganisms that can be a source of infection outbreak. In order to investigate the contamination rates of hospital curtains over time, we obtained cultures from 34 hospital privacy curtains and 2 control curtains over 8 weeks. If the cultures revealed over 2.5 colony-forming units (CFU)/cm2 of microorganisms, the curtains were considered contaminated. The burden of microorganisms in the control curtains remained under 0.2 CFU/cm2 during the study period. The cumulative contamination rate of the hospital privacy curtains increased over time (week 2: 15.6%, week 4: 37.0%, and week 8: 55%). The contamination rates of the curtains from the 2-, 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-bed rooms were 0% (0/1), 0% (0/4), 20% (1/5), 43.8% (7/16), and 100% (3/3), respectively. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus was not isolated from either the control or the hospital curtains during the study period. Vancomycin-resistant enterococci was not isolated from the control curtains but was isolated from 11.8% (4/34) of the hospital curtains (week 2: 2, week 4: 1, and week 6: 1). The contamination rate of the hospital curtains increased over time and showed a tendency to rise with an increase in the number of beds in a room.

        노르딕 워킹 운동 프로그램이 중년 농촌주민의 신체지표와 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of regular Nordic walking exercise on the physical indicators and subjective happiness of middle-aged rural residents. Methods: A pretest and posttest design with a nonequivalent control group was conducted. The participants of experimental and control group were each 21 subjects from 40 to 64 years old. The Nordic walking exercise program consisted of 24 sessions which were focused on group exercise, and was conducted three times a week for eight weeks. Results: The experimental group showed significant decreases in body mass index (p=.042), body fat (p<.001), and abdominal fat (p=.026). The experimental group showed significant increases in muscle mass of right lower limb (p=.009) and left lower limb (p=.016) but was not statistically significant in right, left upper limbs and body. On the other hand, the control group showed significant decreases in muscle mass of right upper limb (p=.034), left upper limb (p=.038), and body (p=.034). There were no significant differences in systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and subjective happiness between the experimental and the control group. Conclusion: The Nordic walking exercise should be actively encouraged to improve health of the middle-aged in rural area.

        경기북부 지역 임상 유래 균주의 카바페넴 내성 현황과 유전학적 특성 연구

        Background: Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) is an infectious disease caused by an Enterobacteriaceae species resistant to one or more of the carbapenem antibiotics. Methods: Strains collected in clinical trials from 2018 to 2022 in the northern Gyeonggi region were tested. CRE strain identification was performed using 16s rRNA sequencing or VITEK2 (BioMerieux, France). The antibiotic minimum inhibitory concentrations were confirmed using the broth microdilution method, and polymerase chain reaction was performed to detect carbapenemase (CPE) genes. Results: Throughout the five-year period, CRE infections continued to spread in northern Gyeonggi Province, and the proportion of strains containing CPE genes also increased. The dominant strain causing communicable infection were K. pneumoniae, E. coli, and E. cloacae complex, and the CPE genes influencing infection were KPC, NDM, and OXA. The genotype distribution of CRE-positive species indicated that K. pneumoniae-KPC-2 was the most common. Carbapenem antibiotic resistance analysis revealed that the Ertapenem-Imipenem- Meropenem-Doripenem type, which is resistant to all four antibiotics, is the most common at 52.3%. Conclusion: This study confirmed that CRE infection has continued to spread in medical institutions in northern Gyeonggi Province over the past five years. CRE can cause clinical infections with a variety of serious complications. In addition, patients with CRE have difficulty in treatment due to the limited availability of antibiotics. Continuous monitoring of the epidemic and patient management are necessary to prevent antibiotic resistance.

        Kinetic and molecular docking studies of loganin and 7-O-galloyl- D-sedoheptulose from Corni Fructus as therapeutic agents for diabetic complications through inhibition of aldose reductase

        Aldose reductase (AR) is a key enzyme in thepolyol pathway that is strongly implicated in the pathogenesisof diabetic complications. AR inhibitors have beenproposed as therapeutic agents for diabetic complicationsthrough suppression of sorbitol formation and accumulation. In this study, we evaluated whether two major compounds ofCorni Fructus, loganin and 7-O-galloyl-D-sedoheptulose,had an inhibitory effect on diabetic complications throughAR inhibition. Because the iridoid glycoside loganin and thelow-molecular-weight polyphenol 7-O-galloyl-D-sedoheptuloseshowed marginal inhibitory activities against rat lensAR (RLAR) and human recombinant AR (HRAR) in inhibitionassays, we performed enzyme kinetic analyses andmolecular simulation of the interaction of these two compoundswith AR to further investigate their potential asinhibitors of diabetic complications. In kinetic analysisusing Lineweaver–Burk plots and Dixon plots, loganin and7-O-galloyl-D-sedoheptulose were both mixed inhibitors ofRLAR with inhibition constants (Ki) of 27.99 and128.68 lL, respectively. Moreover, molecular dockingsimulation of both compounds demonstrated negativebinding energies (Autodock 4.0 = -6.7; -7.5 kcal/mol;Fred 2.0 = -59.4; -63.2 kcal/mol) indicating a highaffinity and tight binding capacity for the active site of theenzyme. Iridoid nucleus and aromatic ring systems andglycoside and sedoheptulose moieties were found to bindtightly to the specificity pocket and the anion binding pocketin RLAR through Phe123, His111, Trp21, Tyr49, His111,and Trp112 residues. Our results clearly indicate thatloganin and 7-O-galloyl-D-sedoheptulose have great promisefor the treatment of diabetic complications throughinhibition of AR.
