        핀테크 기업의 혁신성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구

        Excellent FinTech firms create value by finding customer needs or addressing customer problems to provide customers with differentiated solutions through information technologies and organizational innovation capability. Accordingly, the survival and growth of FinTech firms rely on the innovation performance for solving customer problems. This study assumes that IT relatedness and entrepreneurial culture play a mediating role in the relationship between service orientation and innovation performance. To examine it, designed and demonstrated is a structural model from the perspective of dynamic organizational capability. The results show that IT relatedness and entrepreneurial culture play a mediating role between service orientation and innovation performance. Although IT relatedness and entrepreneurial culture were partial mediators in each divided model, the integration model showed there was no direct effect of service orientation on innovation performance. The practical implication is that FinTech companies need to understand customer problems accurately, set up appropriate service goals and align all strategies to achieve them. With these strategic alignments, higher innovation performance can be achieved by enabling IT resources and capabilities to be actively utilized in all functions of the organization and institutionalizing the entrepreneurial culture.

        Clinical Significance of Microsatellite Instability in Sporadic Epithelial Ovarian Tumors

        Purpose: We evaluated the expression of microsatellite instability (MSI) in sporadic ovarian tumors using 5 standard and 9 new MSI markers to determine the clinical significance of MSI in sporadic epithelial ovarian tumors. Materials and Methods: MSI was examined in 21 borderline and 25 malignant ovarian tumors. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed using the 5 markers recommended by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for colon cancer and 9 additional markers. MSI was determined using fractional analysis by mixing the PCR products and size markers. Results: Using the 5 conventional MSI markers, MSI was found in 4 of 46 (8.6%) ovarian tumors, including 2 of 21 (9.5%) borderline ovarian tumors and 2 of 25 (8%) malignant ovarian tumors. Using the 9 additional MSI markers, MSI was observed in 7 of 46 (15.2%) ovarian tumors, including 3 of 21 (14.3%) borderline ovarian tumors and 4 of 25 (16%) malignant ovarian tumors. There was no statistically significant difference between MSI and clinicopathological factors, including histology and stage, although there was a trend toward an increased incidence of MSI in the serous type. Conclusion: MSI was infrequent in ovarian tumors, including both borderline and malignant tumors. MSI was found to be uncommon in sporadic ovarian tumors, even by using additional MSI markers. The clinical significance of MSI is not strong in patients with sporadic ovarian tumors.

        Cellular fibroma of the ovary containing Leydig cell hyperplasia: a case report

        Ovarian stromal tumors containing Leydig cell components are rare. Only a few cases of ovarian stromal Leydig cell tumors characterized by clusters of Leydig cells have been reported to date. Here, we present the first case report of a 65-year-old woman with a cellular fibroma of the ovary containing Leydig cell hyperplasia. Microscopic examination revealed the proliferation of spindle cells arranged in intersecting bundles with mild nuclear atypia and an average of 2-3 mitotic figures per ten high-power fields. Multifocal nests of polygonal cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and round nuclei were seen within the spindle cells. Final pathology of the tumor revealed a cellular fibroma including Leydig cell hyperplasia.

        지식서비스기업의 서비스 혁신에 영향을 미치는 조직의 역량에 관한 연구

        In the service-oriented economy, knowledge and skills are considered core resources to secure competitive advantages and service innovation. Knowledge management capability, which facilitates to produce, share, accumulate and reuse knowledge, becomes as important as knowledge itself to create service value. Along with knowledge management capability, dynamic capability and operational capability are the key capabilities related to managing service delivery processes. Previous studies indicated that these three capabilities are related to service innovation. Although separately investigate the relationship between the three capabilities. The purpose of this study is 1) to define variables that have effects on service innovation including knowledge management capability, dynamic capability and operational capability, and 2) to empirically test to identify relationship among variables. In this study, knowledge management capability is defined as the capability to manage knowledge process. Dynamic capability is regarded as the firm's ability to integrate, build, and reconfigure internal and external competences to address rapidly changing environments. Operational capability refers to a high-level routine that, together with its implementing input flows, confers upon an organization’s management a set of decision options for producing significant outputs of a particular type. The proposed research model was tested against the data collected through the survey method. The survey questionnaire was distributed to the managers who participated in an educational program for management consulting. Each individual who answered the questionnaire represented a knowledge based service firm. About 212 surveys questionnaires were sent via e-mail or directly delivered to respondents. The number of useable responses was 93. Measurement items were adapted from previous studies to reflect the characteristics of the industry each informant worked in. All measurement items were in, 5 point Likert scale with anchors ranging from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5). Out of 93 respondents, about 81% were male, 82% of respondents were in their 30s. In terms of jobs, managers were 39.78%, professions/technicians were 24.73%, researchers were 12.90%, and sales people were 10.75%. Most of respondents worked for medium size enterprises (47,31%) in their, less than 30 employees (46.24%) in their number of employees, and less than 10 million USD (65.59%) in terms of sales volume. To test the proposed research model, structural equation modeling (SEM) technique (SPSS 16.0 and AMOS version 5) was used. We found that the three organizational capabilities have influence on service innovation directly or indirectly. Knowledge management capability directly affects dynamic capability and service innovation but indirectly affect operational capability through dynamic capability. Dynamic capability has no direct impact on service innovation, but influence service innovation indirectly through operational capability. Operational capability was found to positively affect service innovation. In sum, three organizational capabilities (knowledge management capability, dynamic capability and operational capability) need to be strategically managed at firm level, because organizational capabilities are significantly related to service innovation. An interesting result is that dynamic capability has a positive effect on service innovation only indirectly through operational capability. This result indicates that service innovation might have a characteristics similar to process innovation rather than product orientation. The results also show that organizational capabilities are inter-correlated to influence each other. Dynamic capability enables effective resource management, arrangement, and integration.         북한이탈주민의 네트워크 신뢰와 흡수역량이 창업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        North Korean defectors, as a social minority, try to become economically independent through building their own business, i.e., startup. However, they have relatively poor conditions. In addition, prior studies were also biased towards business preparation stage and/or qualitative studies. Based on resource-based view, this study verified the influence of entrepreneur's network trust (NT) and absorptive capacity (AC) on their business performance (BP), Further, we compared the models for general citizen vis-à-vis North Korean defectors. The results showed that NT had a positive effect on AC and BP. In addition, AC was found to play the role of partial mediator in the relationship between NT and BP. On the other hand, in the case of the general citizen, AC was the perfect mediator. Therefore, it is very important to build NT to create North Korean defector's BP where the exemplary way of improving NT is presented at the conclusion. The contribution of this study can be found to extend the business-related research on North Korean defectors to a quantitative empirical study so as to obtain managerial implications for North Korean Defectors’ business improvement. 북한이탈주민은 사회적 소수자로 창업성과 창출 여건이 일반국민 대비 열악하다. 이들에 대한 창업관련 연구는 창업 이전시점 또는 질적연구에 편중되어 있다. 본 연구는 자원기반관점에 기반하여 창업성과 선행요인으로 네트워크 신뢰와 흡수역량을 제시하고 7년 이내 창업자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 구조모형을 실증하였다. 또한 동일 연구모형으로 일반국민 창업자 집단을 추가 검증하여 집단간 차이를 분석하였다. 분석결과 연구모형의 설명력이 북한이탈주민 창업자 집단에서 높게 나타났으며, 네트워크 신뢰는 창업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 흡수역량은 그 사이에서 부분매개 역할을 하였다. 반면, 일반국민 창업자의 경우 흡수역량이 완전매개 역할을 하였다. 따라서 북한이탈주민 창업자는 창업성과를 위해 네트워크 신뢰를 구축하는 것이 매우 중요하며 그 향상방안을 결론에서 제시하였다. 본 연구는 북한이탈주민 창업관련 연구를 경험적 연구로 확장하고 그들에게 적합한 창업성과 향상방안을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
