        에탄올 농도에 따른 미나리 추출물의 영양성분 변화

        본 연구는 미나리의 최적 추출 조건을 확립하기 위해 다양한 에탄올추출 농도가 미나리의 영양학적 성분 변화에 미치는 정도를 관찰함으로써 진행되었다. 본 실험에서는 열수추출물, 에탄올추출물(50%, 80%, 95%)로 추출 농도를 다르게하여 미나리를 추출하였다. 수율을 측정한 결과 50% 에탄올 추출물에서 44.67%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 일반성분 분석결과, 50% 에탄올추출물에서 단백질 함량이 6.76%, 탄수화물 함량이 19.60%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 지방 함량은 열수추출물과 비교하여 에탄올추출물에서 유의적으로 증가하였으며(P<0.05), 에탄올추출 농도에 따라 유의차가 있었다(P<0.05). 식이섬유를 측정한 결과, 50% 에탄올추출물을 제외한 에탄올추출물(80%, 95%)에서 열수추출물과 유의차가 나타났으며(P<0.05), 두 실험군 간에도 유의적 차이가 있었다(P<0.05). 총당 함량을 측정한 결과, 열수추출물에 대해 에탄올추출물은 통계적 유의차가 있었고(P<0.05), 에탄올 농도에 따라서도 유의차를 나타냈으며(P<0.05), 95%에탄올추출 시 5.35%로 가장 낮게 측정되었다. 비타민 A함량은 열수추출물에 대해 에탄올추출물이 유의하게 증가하였으며(P<0.05), 에탄올추출 농도에 따라 유의차가 있었다(P<0.05). 무기성분 측정 결과, 나트륨, 칼슘, 철의 경우 열수추출물에 대해 에탄올추출물이 유의하게 감소하였고(P<0.05), 에탄올추출 농도가 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 감소하였다(P<0.05). 따라서 에탄올추출 방법을 사용 목적에 따라 적용함으로써 미나리를 이용한 우수한 가공식품 개발가능성과 이용률 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. This study evaluated the nutritional compositions of dropwort (Oenanthe javanica) extracts depending on the ethanol concentrations. Extractions were performed with hot water, 50% ethanol, 80% ethanol, and 95% ethanol for 4 hours. Changes in yield, as well as total carbohydrate, crude protein, crude fat, total dietary fiber, free sugar, and mineral (Na, Fe, and Ca) contents were investigated. The highest extraction yield of ethanol extracts was 44.67% in 50% ethanol extract of dropwort. Crude protein content reached a maximum of 6.70% while carbohydrate content was highest at 19.6%, in 50% ethanol extract of dropwort. Crude fat content irregularly increased according to ethanol concentration as compared with hot water extract. Total dietary fiber content decreased in ethanol extract, but these changes were not concentration-related. Total sugar contents were highest in hot water and 80% ethanol extracts. Vitamin A content of ethanol extract was higher than that of hot water extract. Mineral (Na, Ca, and Fe) contents were significantly reduced in ethanol extract according to concentration of ethanol, whereas mineral contents were higher in ethanol extract than in hot water extract. Based on this study, ethanol extract of dropwort is more efficient for development of desirable processed foods.

        발효 초기조건이 에탄올 발효 특성치에 미치는 영향

        Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 24858의 회분식 에탄올 발효에서 초기 균체 농도가 에탄올 발효 특성치에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 보았다. 발효 특성치는 초기 당 농도 60 내지 230 g/ℓ 범위에서 초기 균체 농도 0.3 내지 85 g/ℓ 범위에 대하여 규명된 값들이다. 초기 당이 1시간내에 완전히 소모되는데 필요한 초기 균체 농도는 초기 당 농도가 60 g/ℓ 인 경우에는 약 27 g/ℓ이었으며, 초기 당 농도가 230 g/ℓ 인 경우에는 85 g/ℓ이었다. 에탄올 생산성은 초기 균체 농도가 증가하면 상승되었다. 초기 균체 농도 55 g/ℓ, 초기 당 농도가 100 g/ℓ 인 경우 에탄올 생산성은 55 g/ℓ·hr까지 향상되었다. 균체의 비 성장 속도는 초기 균체 농도 증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며 균체 농도가 55 g/ℓ에서는 초기 당 농도에 상관없이 균체 성장이 멈추어졌다. 균체 성장은 초기 균체 농도 이외에 에탄올 농도에도 크게 영향을 받았다. 에탄올 농도가 증가하면 균체 성장 속도는 감소하였으며 에탄올 농도 95 g/ℓ 이상에서는 균체 성장이 완전히 멈추었다. 에탄올의 생산성은 균체의 초기 농도, 초기 당 농도에 따라 서로 다른 결과를 나타내었다. 초기 당 농도가 60 내지 100 g/ℓ 인 경우에는 균체 증가량에 대한 에탄올 생산성 증가비가 1보다 큰 값을 나타내었으며, 초기 당 농도가 120 내지 150 g/ℓ 인 경우에는 이 비가 선형적인 관계를 나타내었고, 초기 당 농도가 200 내지 230 g/ℓ 인 경우에는 이 비가 1보다 작은 값을 나타내었다. The effect of initial cell concentration on the characteristics of ethanol fermentation was investigated in the batch fermentation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 24858. The characteristics were investigated in the range of 60 to 230 g/ℓ of the initial sugar concentrations and 0.5 to 85 g/ℓ of the initial cell concentrations. When the initial cell concentrations were 27 g/ℓ for 60 g/ℓ of the initial sugar and 85 g/ℓ for 230 g/ℓ, the fermentation time required for the complete consumption of the initial sugar was one hour, respectively. The ethanol productivity increased with the initial cell concentration so that, in the case of 100 g/ℓ of initial sugar, the productivity rose up to 55 g/ℓ/hr at 55 g/ℓ of the initial cell concentration. The specific growth rate decreased according to the increase in the initial biomass concentration and finally became zero at around 25 g/ℓ of the cell concentration regardless of the initial sugar concentration. The specific ethanol production rate was constant as 1.02 g/ℓ/hr up to 150 g/ℓ of the initial sugar. However, the rates decreased sharply with the augmentation of concentration of the initial sugar above 160 g/ℓ. The overall ethanol yield represented a constant value, 0.475 g/g irrespective of the initial cell and sugar concentrations. The overall biomass yield showed a trend to diminish in values with the biomass and ultimately to reach zero more than 25 g/ℓ of the initial cell concentration.

        정상 성인에 있어서 미배아 발효액 (Glumate)이 에탄올의 혈중농도에 미치는 영향

        The extracts fermented of rice germ are called GMT (Glumate) which is a main ingredient of Condition(R) . It has been reported that GMT reduced the blood concentrations of alcohol in heathy adults. The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of GMT on blood concentrations of ethanol and on heart rate increase induced by ethanol. GMT was administered orally to 15 healthy adults before (10 min) and after (1 h) ethanol ingestion. The oral administration of GMT before (10 min) and after (1 h) ethanol ingestion reduced the area under the blood concentration of ethanol-time curve (p<0.12) and tended to inhibit the ethanol-induced heart rate increase.

        선택적 에탄올 흡착을 활용한 에탄올 농축공정개발

        본 연구에서는 자석으로 분리가 가능한 polyaniline nanofiber (PAMP)를 개발하여 선택적인 에탄올 흡착 및 탈착공정을 활용하여 에탄올을 농축하였다. 개발된 PAMP는 용액 중에 있는 에탄올을 80%이상 흡착하였다. 자석을 활용하여 PAMP에 흡착된 에탄올의 회수가 가능하였으며, 물리적인 힘을 통하여 에탄올 탈착이 가능하여 에탄올의 회수가 용이하였다. 본 연구에 개발된 PAMP는 지속적인 재활용이 가능하였다. 본 연구에서 PAMP를 10회 반복 사용하였을 때 PAMP의 에탄올 흡착율은 최초 사용한 경우의 92%를 유지하여 PAMP를 지속적으로 활용할 수 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 PAMP를 사용하여 46 g/L 의 저농도 에탄올을 197.6 g/L의 고농도 에탄올로 농축이 가능하였다. In this study, we developed simple process for ethanol concentration. We developed magnetically separable polyanilline nanofiber (PAMP) for selective ethanol adsorption. PAMP can adsorbed 80% of ethanol in the solution. After adsorption, the ethanol was recovered with simple magnetic separation and centrifugation process. After 10 times recycle of PAMP, the ethanol adsorption maintained 92% of its initial adsorption capacity. Using ethanol concentration process, the ethanol concentration increased up to 197.6 g/L from 46 g/L which was 4.3 folds increase.

        Spraque-Dawley계 수컷랫트에 계통분획한 단풍취의 각 분획물을 경구투여하고 혈청 ethanol농도와 간의 ADH활성에 미치는 효과를 검색 추적한 결과 알코올대사를 촉진시키는 성분은 주로 에탄올가용부에, 억제시키는 성분은 에탄올불용부에 주로 존재함을 추정할 수 있었고 현재 활성성분을 분리중에 있다.(1998년 9월 25일 접수, 1998년 10월 14일 수리) Effects of organic solvents fraction from Ainsliaea acerifolia ethanol extract on alcohol metabolism in rats were examined and the results were as follows: Ethanol souble fraction, after a single oral administration to rats, was found to cause a significant decrease in the serum ethanol concentration as well as enhancement of liver cytosolic alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH) activity, on the other hand, the fraction insouble in ethanol was found to cause an increase ethanol concentration in the blood and inhibit ADH activity.

        에탄올 농도에 따른 벌개미취 추출물의 페놀성분 및 항산화 특성

        Aster koraiensis Nakai (A. koraiensis) which has been used as a food and medicinal plant in the past, is valuable as functional food material. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the antioxidant properties and major phenolics of A. koraiensis extracts with different ethanol concentrations (0, 50, 70, and 100% aqueous ethanol solution). When ethanol concentration in the extraction solvent was increased, extraction yield decreased; 34.2, 23.2, 21.0, and 5.5% in 0, 50, 70, and 100% ethanolic extracts, respectively. Total phenolics content and antioxidant activities of extracts were increased in an ethanol concentration-dependant manner. The major phenolics in the extracts were chlorogenic acid (21.264~58.666 mg/g), isochlorogenic acid A (10.432~145.353 mg/g), and isochlorogenic acid C(0.239~13.148 mg/g), and these phenolic contents were higher in 70 and 100% ethanolic extracts than other extracts. Significant correlations were observed between ethanol concentration of extraction solvent, antioxidant properties, and major phenolics. These results indicated that the optimal ethanol concentration for extraction was 70%.

        Transparent Thin Film Dye Sensitized Solar Cells Prepared by Sol-Gel Method

        Transparent TiO2 thin films have been prepared by sol-gel spin coating method. The sols used for deposition of thin films were prepared with different ethanol content. The effect of ethanol (solvent) concentration and annealing temperature on the performance of TiO2 thin film solar cells has been studied. The results indicate that the as deposited films are amorphous in nature. TiO2 thin films annealed at temperatures above 350 °C exhibited crystalline nature with anatase phase. The results also indicated that the crystallinity of the films improved with increase of annealing temperature. The high resolution transmission electron microscope images showed lattice fringes corresponding to the anatase phase of TiO2. The band gap of the deposited films has been found to decrease with increase in annealing temperature and increase with increase in ethanol concentration. The dependents of photovoltaic efficiency of the dye-sensitized TiO2 thin film solar cells (DSSCs) with the amount of ethanol used to prepare thin films was determined from photocurrent-voltage curves.

        홍삼정과 제조 부산물 이용에 관한 연구: 반응표면분석을 이용한 총 진세노사이드 추출조건의 최적화

        This study was carried out to extract ginsenosides in by-products from honeyed red ginseng. Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the extraction conditions. Based on D-optimal design, independent variables were ethanol (extraction solvent) concentration (30-90%, v/v), extraction temperature (25-70℃), and extraction time (5-11 h). Extraction yield (Y1) and total ginsenosides (Y2) in the extract were analyzed as dependent variables. Results found that extraction yield increased with increasing extraction temperature and time, whereas it was decreased with increasing ethanol concentration. Similar trends were found for the content of ginsenosides in the extracts, except for ethanol concentration, which was increased with increasing ethanol concentration. Regression equations derived from RSM were suggested to coincide well with the results from the experiments. The optimal extraction conditions for extraction yield and total ginsenosides were an extraction temperature of 56.94℃, ethanol concentration of 57.90%, and extraction time of 11 h. Under these conditions, extraction yield and total ginsenoside contents were predicted to be 84.52% and 9.54 mg/g, respectively.
