        전강영신(田岡永信)의 화두 참구와 선문답

        전강영신(田岡永信) 선사는 조사선(祖師禪) 전통을 계승하고 발전시킴으로써 한국 불교 선사상(禪思想)의 명맥을 이어나간 대표적인 조사(祖師)이다. 전강영신 선사는 간화선(看話禪) 참구법(參究法)을 통하여 깨달음을 증득하였고, 이를 통하여 자신만의 선사상을 정립하였다. 그의 간화선은 전통적 간화선을 바탕으로 함과 동시에 자신만의 수행법과 지도방식을 추구함으로써 독자적인 선사상을 주창하였다. 이와 같은 전강영신 선사의 선사상을 살펴보기 위하여 그의 사상이 축약 되어 있는 법어집 『언하대오(言下大悟)』를 바탕으로 그가 제시한 화두수행의 참구법을 살펴보고자 한다. 전강영신 선사는 그의 구도, 교화 과정에서 드러나는 수행방식을 통하여 전통적인 한국 불교 선사상에서 볼 수 없었던 선사의 선사상에 나타나는 독자성, 정체성을 확립하였다. 전강영신의 선사상은 그의 법어집인 『언하대오』에 잘 드러나 있다. 법어집의 제목을 『언하대오』라고 붙인 것에서 알 수 있는 바와 같이 그의 법어집에는 그가 보여주고자 하는 사상의 모습이 잘 드러나 있다. 총 7장으로 구성되어 있는 법어집에서 선사는 마지막 장인 ‘화두 드는 법’을 제외한 목차에서 여러 가지 법담을 통해서 선사상의 면모를 유감없이 드러내주고 있다. 전강영신의 선사상을 이해하기 위하여 『언하대오』에 나타난 선사의 화두 참구법과 선문답을 분석하고자 한다. 그 중에서 가장 많이 언급되었고, 전강영신 선사가 주요하게 생각한 판치생모 화두 참구법과 무자화두 참구법의 특징을 중점적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 선사가 화두 참구를 수행하면서 어떠한 마음 자세를 갖춰야 하는가에 대하여 설명하는 부분을 통하여 그의 선사상을 이해하고자 한다. 이러한 전강영신 선사의 선사상은 현대 한국 간화선의 방향과 정체성 정립에 중추적 역할을 한다 The Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin (田岡永信) is a spiritual patriarch (祖師) who succeeded in the discipline of patriarchal meditation (祖師禪) and developed the tradition of Korean Seon Buddhism, continuing the Seon-thought (禪思想) of Korean Buddhism. The Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin (田岡永信) acquired awakening (覺) through the Kanhwa-seon (看話禪) Investigation (參究) method and established his own thinkings on Seon. His Kanhwa-seon was based on the traditional Kanhwa-seon, and at the same time, he advocated for the independent self Seon thought by pursuing his own method of discipline and instruction. In order to examine the self Seon thought of Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin, this paper, through his the tribute book of Dharma (法語集) 『Eonhadaeo (言下大悟)』, intends to look at the method of practicing the topic that he suggested, based on the abbreviation of his thoughts. Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin established the identity that appeared in his Seon-thought, which was not seen in the traditional Korean Buddhist Seon-thought, through his composition and the method of practice revealed in the process of edification. The Seon-thought of Jeonkangyeongsin is clearly revealed in the 『Eonhadaeo』. As can be seen from the title of the tribute book of Dharma; what he wants to show is revealed in the book. The book which consists of a total of 7 chapters, the Seon Master reveals the aspects of the Seon Master through various teachings of the illustrious Dharma (法談) in the table of contents except for the last chapter. In order to understand the Seon-thought of Jeonkangyeongsin, this paper aims to analyze the Hwadu-Investigation (話頭參究) and Seon dialogue (禪問答) of spiritual patriarch in 『Eonhadaeo』. In particular focusing on the characteristics of the panchisaengmo (板齒生毛)-Hwadu investigation (參究) method and the non letter investigation Hwadu (無字話頭) method, which were mentioned the most, and that Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin considered the main points. This paper would like to understand his thought of a Seon master through the section that explains what kind of attitude he should have while practicing. The Seon-thought of Seon Master Jeonkangyeongsin plays a pivotal role in establishing the direction and identity of the modern Korean Kanhwa-seon

      • 부식촉진시험 조건에서 무도장 강재의 부식 거동 연구

        강구조물은 도장에 의한 방식법을 적용하고 있으며 염분 및 자외선 등과 같은 여러 요인에 의하여 노화가 진행된다. 도장의 경우 대기 부식 환경하의 도막열화로 인하여 그 수명이 제한되므로 공용기간 동안 지속적이며 반복적인 재도장이 진행된다. 도장을 통하여 부식에 대한 강구조물의 내구성능을 확보하는 탄소강은 도막열화로 인하여 그 수명이 제한되므로 무도장 상태일 경우의 부식저항성능을 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 부식촉진실험을 통한 무도장 강재의 부식속도와 ISO 9223의 부식환경별 부식속도의 비교를 통하여 촉진배율을 제안하고자 한다.

        Differential thermal biology may explain the coexistence of Platygaster matsutama and Inostemma seoulis (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) attacking Thecodiplosis japonensis (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae)

        Two dominant parasitoids, Platygaster matsutama Yoshida and Inostemma seoulis Ko, often coexist in the host-parasitoid community of the pine needle gall midge, Thecodiplosis japonensis Uchida et Inouye. Subtle differences in parasitoid phenology appear to play a key role in reducing interspecific competition, but the specific thermal conditions for development of each species have not been defined. We examined the thermal biology of two sympatric parasitoids during postdiapause development at seven constant temperatures (12, 15,18, 21, 24, 27, and 30 °C) to determine species-specific developmental parameters. The lower developmental threshold was estimated to be 4.2 °C and 8.4 °C, and the thermal constant was 741.2 and 946.1 degree days (DD) for P. matsutama and I. seoulis, respectively, using the linear model. The nonlinear model determined that the optimal temperature was 24.8 and 26.5 °C for P. matsutama and I. seoulis, respectively, but with an upper threshold temperature (30 °C) that was the same for both species. The development rate of P. matsutama was higher than that of I. seoulis over the entire thermal range, and the difference was highest at 21.5 °C. Despite the lower developmental rate, I. seoulis was more heat tolerant and its optimal temperature was closer to that of host insect than those of P. matsutama. The results showed clear differences in thermal biology between P. matsutama and I. seoulis. Potential implications are discussed with respect to coexistence of two parasitoids on a single host and biological control of T. japonensis

      • Semicustom Design of Zigzag Power-Gated Circuits in Standard Cell Elements

        <P>Zigzag power gating (ZPG) can overcome the long wake-up delay of standard power gating, but its requirement for both nMOS and pMOS current switches, in a zigzag pattern, requires complicated power networks, limiting application to custom designs. We propose a design framework for cell-based semicustom design of ZPG circuits, using a new power network architecture that allows the unmodified conventional logic cells to be combined with custom circuitry such as ZPG flip-flops, input forcing circuits, and current switches. The design flow, from register transfer level description to layout, is described and applied to a 32-b microprocessor design using a 1.2-V 65-nm triple-well bulk CMOS process. The use of a sleep vector in ZPG requires additional switching power when entering standby mode and returning to active mode. The switching power should be minimized so that is does not outweigh the leakage saved by employing ZPG scheme. We formulate the selection of a sleep vector as a multiobjective optimization problem, minimizing both the transition energy and the total wirelength of a design. We solve the problem by employing multiobjective genetic-based algorithm. Experimental results show an average saving of 39% in transition energy and 8% in total wirelength for several benchmark circuits in 65-nm technology.</P>

        A Prospective Observation of Psychological Distress in Patients With Anaphylaxis

        Purpose: Anaphylaxis is an immediate allergic reaction characterized by potentially life-threatening, severe, systemic manifestations. While studies have evaluated links between serious illness and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), few have investigated PTSD after anaphylaxis in adults. We sought to investigate the psychosocial burden of recent anaphylaxis in Korean adults. Methods: A total of 203 (mean age of 44 years, 120 females) patients with anaphylaxis were recruited from 15 university hospitals in Korea. Questionnaires, including the Impact of Event Scale-Revised-Korean version (IES-R-K), the Korean version of the Beck Anxiety Inventory (K-BAI), and the Korean version of the Beck Depression Inventory (K-BDI), were administered. Demographic characteristics, causes and clinical features of anaphylaxis, and serum inflammatory markers, including tryptase, platelet-activating factor, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α, and C-reactive protein, were evaluated. Results: PTSD (IES-R-K ≥ 25) was noted in 84 (41.4%) patients with anaphylaxis. Of them, 56.0% had severe PTSD (IES-R-K ≥ 40). Additionally, 23.2% and 28.1% of the patients had anxiety (K-BAI ≥ 22) and depression (K-BDI ≥ 17), respectively. IES-R-K was significantly correlated with both K-BAI (r = 0.609, P < 0.0001) and K-BDI (r = 0.550, P < 0.0001). Among the inflammatory mediators, tryptase levels were lower in patients exhibiting PTSD; meanwhile, platelet-activating factor levels were lower in patients exhibiting anxiety and depression while recovering from anaphylaxis. In multivariate analysis, K-BAI and K-BDI were identified as major predictive variables of PTSD in patients with anaphylaxis. Conclusions: In patients with anaphylaxis, we found a remarkably high prevalence of PTSD and associated psychological distresses, including anxiety and depression. Physicians ought to be aware of the potential for psychological distress in anaphylactic patients and to consider psychological evaluation.
