A fast and simple high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of four pesticides having fungicide properties has been proposed for Panax ginseng, C. A. Meyer grown for 4, 5, or 6 years. Analytical separation was performed on C18 columns using ultraviolet detector under gradient conditions. Spiked blank samples were used as standards to counteract the matrix effect observed in the chromatographic determination. The HPLC response for all pesticides was linear, with determination coefficients >0.9986. The average rate of recovery for pesticides spiked with 2 fortification levels was >72% with relative standard deviations <9%. The limits of quantification (LOQ) ranged from 0.03 to 0.16 ppm. These LOQs were lower than the respective maximum residue limits (MRL) established by the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA), except for cyazofamid. The proposed method was used to determine pesticide residue levels in samples of ginseng obtained from Jeonnam Province (Republic of Korea). None of the pesticides were found in ginseng samples grown for 4, 5, or 6 years.
애국계몽기 가정교육론의 성격 연구 -근대 교육학 교재를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to identify the Characters of home education based on the contents of home education in education textbooks from the patriotic enlightenment period. In education textbooks from the patriotic enlightenment period, home education was seen as “education that parents do at home.” While school education is responsible for “teaching”, home education is responsible for “nursing” and “discipline”. Home education was an important part of children's education, along with school education, as a field of educational science. The Characters of home education in the patriotic enlightenment period can be summarized as follows. First, the purpose of home education was to cultivate "citizens" with patriotism, and it aimed at patriotic home education. Second, in home education, parents' roles and responsibilities were strengthened as they were both “students” who learned educational science and “educators” who taught their children. Third, the contents and methods of home education were to implement “hygienic and disciplined physical education” and “intentional and planned mental education” with scientific knowledge. Home education in the patriotic enlightenment period provides an opportunity to recognize education from the perspective of “teaching and learning together,” where parents and children grow together through all moments of life at home. 본 연구의 목적은 애국계몽기 근대 교육학 교재에서 다루는 가정교육론의 성격을 파악하는 것이다. 애국계몽기는 근대 교육학의 한 분야로서 가정교육의 내용과 방법에 대한 논의가 본격적으로 이루어졌던 시기이다. 교육학 교재에서 가정교육은 ‘가정에서 부모가 행하는 교육’으로 학교교육이 ‘교수’를 담당하면, 가정교육은 ‘양육’과 ‘훈련’을 담당하며, 가정교육은 학교교육과 더불어 아동의 중요한 교육으로 제시하고 있다. 애국계몽기 가정교육론의 성격을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정교육의 목적은 애국심을 갖춘 ‘국민’을 양성하는 것으로 구국적(救國的) 가정교육을 지향했다. 둘째, 부모는 근대 교육학을 배우는 ‘학생’이자 자녀를 가르치는 ‘교육자’로서 그 역할과 책임이 강화되었다. 셋째, 가정교육의 내용과 방법은 근대 과학 지식으로 ‘위생적이고 규율적인 신체교육’과 ‘의도적이고 계획적인 정신교육’을 시행하는 것이다. 애국계몽기 가정교육론은 오늘날 부모와 자녀가 가정에서 생활하는 모든 순간(의식주, 정신교육)을 통해 부모와 자녀가 함께 성장하는 교학상장(敎學相長)의 관점으로 교육을 인식할 수 있는 계기를 마련해준다.

The objective tests have limitation in checking the change and understanding of cognition structure. These tests are only to check if the students know the right answers. Consequently, the students recognized the tests as a confirmation process of memorization and reproduction which they had learned from their teachers, and thought that studying mathematics was an unnecessary process which was not connected to real life. But the descriptive tests are better than the objective tests in evaluating synthetic and dynamic abilities such as creativity and problem solving abilities of each student. In this paper, we 1. analyze the effect of the descriptive tests taken as a sort of formative assessment and performance assessment on students' achievement in learning mathematics. 2. analyze the effect on mathematical understanding by analyzing students' fallacies through the descriptive test of 'Sequence', one unit in Math 1.
