<P>In this study, the effects of drawing strain and annealing at low temperature on the mechanical properties have been investigated. The mechanical properties, such as hardness and strength and fatigue, were performed. The fatigue tests of hyper eutectoid steel wires were performed by the Hunter-type tester, specially designed for ultra thin wires (<0.2mmφ), under the bending stress. The mechanical properties of the steel wires increased with increase of annealing temperature, and the increase was more significant with higher drawing strain. Also, as annealing temperature increased, the hardness and tensile strength gradually increased up to 200 °C and then dramatically decreased at above temperature. However, bending fatigue limit, including fatigue life, showed the some different phenomena with increase of annealing temperature. These different behaviors depending on annealing temperature were discussed in terms of microstructural parameter changes such as pearlite morphology, rearrangement and coalescence of the dislocations.</P>

Development of a mutant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor is important for the treatment of various cancers. Thirdgeneration EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) have been clinically used by targeting T790M specifically but are recently known to induce T790M/C797S mutation after the treatment. Therefore, there is an unmet need to develop novel kinase inhibitors targeting the mutant EGFRs. Here, we designed and synthesized 16 analogs by hybridizing EAI045 (1) and 30 ,40,50-trihydroxyflavone (2) and identified 9a, 9b, and 20b as EGFR L858R/T790M/C797S mutant inhibitors. In addition, we found that 10a and 10b can inhibit both L858R/T790M and L858R/T790M/C797S. Molecular docking study on a plausible binding mode of the compounds is also provided.

최근 스마트폰 보급률이 높아지면서 장애인들에 대한 스마트폰 보급도 올라가게 되었다. 하지만, 스마트폰을 이용하기 위한 수많은 어플리케이션이 출시되고 있는데 비해 장애인들에게 필요한 어플리케이션은 많지 않다. 또한 장애인들을 위한 어플리케이션은 그 조작법이 어렵거나 사용자가 필요로 하는 기능이 부족하다. 특히, GPS기능을 활용한 유용한 앱들이 많은 반면 장애인들을 위한 내비게이션 앱은 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 청각장애인들이 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 청각장애인을 위한 길찾기 어플리케이션에 청각장애인들이 유용하게 활용할 수 잇도록 청각장애인용 앱을 설계하였다.
Fabrication of Diameter-tunable Well-aligned ZnO Nanorod Arrays via a Sonochemical Route

A simple and facile sonochemical route was described for the fabrication of diameter-controlled ZnO nanorod arrays on Si wafers. The diameter of ZnO nanorods was controlled by the concentration of zinc cations and hydroxyl anions in aqueous precursor solution. At high concentration of the precursor solution, thick ZnO nanorod arrays were formed. On the contrary, thin ZnO nanorod arrays were formed at low concentration of the precursor solution. The average diameter of ZnO nanorods varies from 40 to 200 nm. ZnO nanorod arrays with sharp tip were also fabricated by the step-by-step decrease in precursor solution concentration. The crystal structure and optical characteristics of ZnO nanorods were investigated by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Growth mechanism of ZnO nanorod arrays was also proposed.
곰취(Ligularia fisheri )를 이용한 callus배양 및 항산화 활성 검정

We described the effects of antioxidant activity on the extracts of tissue and callus formation by Ligularia fisheri . The callus culture was induced from leaf tissue of Ligularia fisheri in both MS and B5 medium with IAA(0∼1.5 ㎎/ℓ) or/and kinetin (0∼1.0 ㎎/ℓ). As medium for callus culture induced from Ligularia fisheri , B5 and MS medium showed no callus formation. Both media brought to decrease differentiation of callus, on the other hand those induced to accelerate cell development. The hytohormones were required over 0.4 ㎎/ℓ of IAA and kinetin for formation of callus and those conditions were induced the pigmental deposit like dark red color in callus tissue. In order to extract functional material from natural leaf and callus tissue of Ligularia fisheri used distilled water and 75% ethanol as solvent and those extract used to determine antioxidant activity as 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrozyl (DPPH) radicals scavenging effect and TBA(thiobarbituric acid) activity as well as the concentration of total phenol and flavonoid. In result, the effect of DPPH and TBA had high activity more callus extract of red color than callus(green color) and natural leaf tissue and it also had high concentration of flavonoid. That is because the high concentration of phytohormone brought stress tolerance and hypersensitivity in callus tissue of Ligularia fisheri , so this reaction induced to change color of callus tissue like pigment deposit for culture.

Mucinous borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) occur most often in women between the ages of 20 and 30. Early-stage detection of the condition has a more favorable prognosis. In this case report, the authors present an elderly 93-year old woman who visited our hospital due to severe abdominal pain after being diagnosed with a pelvic mass 2 years ago and not undergoing any treatment since the diagnosis was made. She underwent emergency left salpingo-oophorectomy and was diagnosed with mucinous BOT according to biopsy results. (J Menopausal Med 2015;21:160-164)
