The reaction of iodine with thiosulfate in aqueous solution(PH=4.0) has been studied kinetically. The rate constants in 0.1M NaClO₄ and 1×10^(-4)M HClO₄ for k₁, k´₁, k´₁/k₂, k´_(-1)/k₂were obtained as 4.55×10⁴M^(-1)·Sec^(-1), 3.74×10₄M^(-1)·Sec^(-1), 8.758×10^(-2)M^(-1), 2.391×10^(-4), respectively.
마취제 혼합에 따른 Purple Membrane의 광순환반응에 부피 변화에 관한 연구

The excess volumes of mixing of benzyl alcohol, ethyl, alcohol, halothane, and procainein vesicle and in suspensions of several lipids have been etermined at 25℃ using a excess volume dilatometer. the potency of general aneathetics has long been known to correlate with lipid solubility Halobacteriun Halobium, were studied by absorption changes at280nm and fiuorescence ehanges at 330nm. The excess volumes of mixing in egg lecithin were all found to enegative, whereas they were positive in procaine and halothane. This result was confirmed as Miller's supposition.
형광분광분석법에 의한 Methylene Blue 와 Thionine 의 Metachromasy

Metachromatic properties of admixture of methylene blue(MB) and thionin in aqueous solution has been studied by fluorescence spectroscopy. In spite of nonfluorescence character has been MB itself, mixing MB to monomeric concentration of thionine, new coaggregation band has been formed in shorter wave length than fluorescence of thionine because of MB was redistributed to thionine aggregate. It suggested that coaggregate of MB and thionine were more tightly formed than the each dye aggregate.
L-${\alpha}$-lecithin 이중층막에서 Methylene Blue의 회합

Sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS), chondroitin sulfate 그리고 L-${\alpha}$-lecithin vesicle의 각각의 수용액에서 methylene blue (MB)의 metachromatic 성질을 $18^{\circ}$C에서 $52^{\circ}$C까지 흡수분광법으로 측정했다. MB는 지질이 고농도일 때 vesicle 매트릭스에 뭉치를 형성했다. MB의 metachromasy는 vesicle의 상전이 온도에 무관하게 나타났으며, 이것은 색소가 vesicle의 친수성 표면에서 회합함을 의미한다. Vesicle에서 MB의 metachromasy 현상은 hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)를 첨가할 때보다 SDS를 첨가할 때 매우 약하게 관측되었다. 이것은 vesicle 표면에서 계면활성제들의 끼어드는 위치가 다른 것으로 보이며, CTAB가 SDS보다 색소뭉치 사이에 더욱 잘 끼어드는 것으로 사료된다. Metachromatic behavior of methylene blue (MB) in solutions of aqueous sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), chondroitin sulfate and L-${\alpha}$-lecithin vesicle at $18~52^{\circ}$C has been studied by absorption spectroscopy. MB was clustered in the matrix of the vesicle with high concentration of L-${\alpha}$-lecithin. The metachromasy of MB was found to be independent of phase transition temperature of vesicles. These results suggest that the dyes were aggregated on the hydrophilic surfaces of vesicle. In the vesicular system, the metachromatic effect of MB was dramatically decreased in the presence of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) than SDS. It is estimated that the intercalation site of these surfactants on vesicle surfaces was different, that is, the intercalation of CTAB was more effective than that of SDS.
Dipalmitoyl Phosphatidyl Choline Vesicle 촉매에 의한 para-Nitrophenyl Palmitate의 가수분해 반응

Dipalmitoyl phosphatidyl choline and p-nitrophenyl palmitate were directly sonicated in acidic water for 6 min to give clear stock solutions. The catalytic hydrolysis of p-nitropheny palmitate was studied at 30-55℃ in the presence of unilamellar vesicle and mixture of uni- and multilamellar aggregates. The difference of rate between uni- and mixture reaction was observed, where unilamellar reaction was more catalytic effect. The phase transition temperature of vesicle was 37-44℃.

延伸導電性高分子PPV의 電氣傳導및 光學的特性에 대한 異方性을 考察하였다. 延伸後의 電氣傳導 延伸方向에 垂直인 경우가 平行인경우보다 높은 導電率을 갖는 異方性을 나타냈다. 光學的性質은 延伸方向에 垂直인 경우와 平行인 경우에 각각 光을 偏光시킨 結果, 光電流Spec-trum이 低Energy측으로 Shift하는 異方性을 나타났으며, 이와같은 結課는 Carrier를 光勵起하는데에 필요한 Energy가 다른 것에 起因한다고 생각된다. Electrical conductivity, photoconductivity of a conducting polymer and their dependence on streching are discussed. The conductivity in the parallel direction to the streching is higher over one order in magnitude than that in the perpendicular direction to the streching. The photocurrent spectrum for the ligh polarized parallel to the chain direction is much enhanced in lower photon energy compared with that for the light polarized perpendicular to that direction. The result may be originated in the difference of energies which is needed to photogenerate carriers with the light polarized parallel and perpendicular to the chain streched direction.
Phospholipid 이중층막에서 Methylene Blue 와 Thionine 의 Metachromasy

Metachromatic properties of admixture of thionine and methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solution and phospholipid bilayer membrane have been studied by absorption spectroscopy. When thionine and MB were mixed, new coaggregate has been formed because of MB was redistributed to thionine aggregate. In phosphlipid bilayer membrane system, the highly concentrated thionine was easily formed the coaggregation with MB moiety independent of MB concentration, and absorption band of admixture were more transferred to short wavelength than aqueous system. In monomeric thionine concentration, the coaggregation band was observed at the middle wavelength between the site of monomeric thionine and the site of dimeric MB in the presence of lipid bilayer membrane.
光化學反應 微分照射熱量法에 의한 L-α-Lecithin으로 재구성된 Bacteriorhodopsin Vesicle계에서 Methylene Blue의 회합효과에 의한 상전이 연구

유기색소분자들이 수용액하에서 색소분자의 일정농도 범위에서 색소분자의 농도의 증가에 따라 색소분자들이 자체 분자회합(self-association)을 형성하거나 1-5, 친수성 표면을 가지는 인지질 vesicle 수용액에서 분자회합6 및 음이온성 고분자 전해질 존재하에서의 색소분자들에 분자회합에 기인한 흡수spectra의 특성적인 변화현상 7-15 을 총괄하여 metachromasy 현상이라고 한다. 이와 같은 색소분자의 회합현상을 본 연구진은 친수성을 가지는 인지질 vesicle 소용액 존재하에서 metachromatic dye인 Methylene blue(MB)가 나타내는 특성적인 metachromasy을 연구한바 있으며16, 또한 bacteriorhodopsin(BR)으로 재구성된 인지질 vesicle(InBR) 존재하에서도 MB의 분자회합 효과네 관한 보고를 한바 있다.

The hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl acetate was studied 20-47℃ in the presence of phospholipid bilayer membrane. Liposomes, in the size range of microsomal vesicles, are formed when ether solutions of L-α-lecithin are injected into warm aqeous solutions. The remarkable difference of rate between intra-and inter vesiclar reaction was observed, where intra vesiclar reaction was more catalytic effect. The enhancement of rate by the L-α-lecithin vesicle was influenced by its hydrophobicity. The phase transition temperature from gel to liquid-crystal state of liposomes was 37∼43℃.
