한우 암소의 초음파 측정 도체형질에 대한 표준발육곡선 및 유전모수 추정

본 연구는 체성숙이 완료된 15개월령 이상의 한우 암소로부터 초음파 측정 장치를 활용하여 조사된 등지방두께(UBF), 배장근단면적(UEMA), 근내지방도(UMS)의 형질들에 대한 유전능력을 추정하기 위한 통계분석방법을 도출하기 위한 연구로써 신체충실지수 및 월령에 대한 사전 보정의 효율성을 알아보고 유전평가를 위한 형질별 유전모수를 추정함으로써 유전능력 추정의 효율성을 향상하기 위한 방안을 도 출하고자 실시하였다. 분석에 이용된 자료는 2001년부터 전국의 1,004농가에서 사육중인 15개월령 이 상의 한우 암소 38,663두로부터 조사된 초음파 측정 육질관련 형질들에 대하여 조사된 자료를 이용하였다. 흉위 및 도축형질들에 대한 성장곡선함수식을 추정하기 위하여 농가-년-월(HYM) 및 신체충실지 수(BCS)에 대한 통계모형식을 통하여 사전보정을 실시하고 Von Bertalanfy함수식을 이용한 비선형 성장곡선 함수식을 추정하였다. 또한 도축형질들에 대하여 개체별로 조사된 관측치는 성장곡선 함수식에 대한 편차로 자료변환한 후에 유전모수를 추정한 결과, 각 형질별 유전력은 UBF에서 0.29, UEMA는 0.56 및 UMS에서 0.49의 추정치를 보였다. This study was conducted to figure out the pre-correcting method about months of age and body condition score to elevate accuracy of genetic evaluation for the traits related to meat quality measured by ultrasonic equipment in Hanwoo cows. The data carried out in this analysis were observed for chest girth(CG) of individuals, body condition scores(BCS), and ultrasonic measurements of carcass traits, ultrasonic-scanned back-fat thickness(UBF), ultrasonic-scanned eye muscle area(UEMA), and ultrasonic-scanned marbling score(UMS) from 38,663 Hanwoo cows which were aged above 15 month ages in 1004 herds of Korean cattle from 2001 to 2016 years. It instigated correction of BCS, CG and herd to carcass traits. By using ultrasonic measured traits that corrected through these factors, it estimated growth curve parameter by month of age exploiting the Von Bertalanffy’s functional formula. After calculating the deviation of actual measures to standard growth curves, it estimated genetic parameters by using restricted maximum likelihood with the multi-trait animal mixed model. The projected heritability in this formula was estimated at 0.29, 0.56, 0.49 the traits of UEMA, UBF, UMS, respectively. This estimates were speculated to greatly removed specifically bias by month of age and subsequently enhanced the accuracy of evaluation of genetic ability among cows relevant traits. Therefore, as implementing genetic evaluation for meat quality using ultrasound data in cows, these pre-correction for age and BCS would be determined to be more accurate on genetic evaluation for carcass traits observed by ultrasonic equipment.

Objective : his study was carried out to investigate the effect of Dansameum (DS) on the gastrohemorrhagic lesion induced by ammonia in rats. Methods : Rats were pretreated with DS extract 25 mg/kg for 10 days and then were given amonia through gastric tube. The animals were killed 1 hr after amonia treatment. Results : DS extract siginificantly reduced the gastrohemorrhagic lesion score, the gastric lipid peroxide level, the gastric urease activity, the gastric myeloperoxidase activity, the gastric acid phosphatase activity, xanthine oxidase activity and type conversion, and increased the gastric glutathione level considerably. In photomicrographs of stomach tissue in rat, we could see the gastrohemorrhagic lesion induced clearly. conclusions : These results suggest that DS extract may be effective in peptic ulcer.
ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma) 처리에 따른 n-type SiGe/Metal contact의 SBH(Schottky Barrier Height) 연구

The effect of surface treatment of n-type SiGe using the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) was studied by current-voltage and x-ray photoemission spectroscopy measurements. The ICP treatment produced surface oxides and point defects at the surface of SiGe. The x-ray photoemission spectroscopy measurements showed that atomic ratio of Ge/Si was increased after the etching treatment. These results provide the evidence that Si vacancies were produced at the etched surface. Si vacancies acting as donor for electrons resulted in shift of Fermi level to near the conduction band. As a result, Fermi level could be pinned at such Si vacancies, leading to the remarkable reduction of Schottky barrier height and the reduced dependence of Schottky barrier height on metal work function.
