        무산소운동이 혈중 백혈구수, 호중구 활성산소종 생성 및 젖산농도에 미치는 영향

        이호성. 무산소운동이 혈중 백혈구수, 호중구 활성산소종 생성 및 젖산농도에 미치는 영향. 운동과학, 제21권 제2호,263-270, 2012. 이 연구의 목적은 무산소운동이 백혈구수, 호중구 ROS 생성 및 젖산농도에 미치는 영향에 대해 검토하였다. 일반 성인남자 10명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 무산소운동은 자전거 에르고미터를 이용하여 체중 당 부하강도 0.075 kp로서10초간 전력 페달링 운동을 50초간의 휴식시간을 두고 연속적으로 5회 실시하였다. 백혈구수, 호중구 ROS 생성, 호중구 대비ROS 생성, 적혈구수, 호중구수, 간상핵구수, 분엽핵구수, 혈색소양, 헤마토크리트, 평균 혈구용적치 및 젖산은 무산소운동전및 직후, 운동 30분, 60분 및 120분후에 각각 측정하였다. 백혈구수 및 호중구 대비 ROS 생성은 운동전과 비교해서 운동직후(p=.038) 및 운동 120분후에 유의하게 증가하였다(p=.035, p=.027 respectively). 호중구수(p=.029), 간상핵구수(p=.029), 분엽핵구수(p=.032) 및 호중구 ROS 생성은 운동전과 비교해서 운동 120분후에 유의하게 증가하였다(p=.039). 혈중 젖산농도는 운동전과 비교해서 운동직후(p=.021) 및 운동 30후(p=.041)에 유의하게 증가하였다. 이상의 결과, 이 연구에서는 단시간고강도의 무산소운동에 있어서도 호중구 ROS 생성이 증가한다는 것을 확인하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of anaerobic exercise on circulating leukocytes, reactive oxygen species production in neutrophilis and lactate concentration in human. All subjects (n=10) was performed cycle ergometer anaerobic exercise (10 seconds . 5 sets, rest for 50 seconds between each set) at load intensity 0.075 kp per weight. Changes in circulating leukocyte numbers, reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in neutrophilis, ROS per neutrophilis, red blood cell, neutrophilis, band form, segmented leukocyte, Hb, Hct, MCV and lactic acid was measured before, immediately after, 30, 60 and 120 minutes after the cycle ergometer anaerobic exercise. circulating leukocyte number and reactive oxygen species production per neutrophilis were significantly increased immediately after (p=.038) and after 120 minutes of anaerobic exercise (p=.035, p=.027 respectively) compared with before anaerobic exercise. Neutrophilis (p=.029), band form (p=.029), segmented leukocyte (p=.032), and reactive oxygen species production in neutrophilis were significantly increased after 120 minutes (p=.039) of anaerobic exercise compared with before anaerobic exercise. Lactic acid was significantly increased immediately after (p=.021) and after 30 minutes (p=.041) of anaerobic exercise compared with before anaerobic exercise. These results confirmed that anaerobic exercise increase reactive oxygen species production in neutrophilis.

        Endoscopic and Endosonographic Features of Histologically Proven Gastric Ectopic Pancreas by Endoscopic Resection

        Background/Aims: Distinguishing gastric ectopic pancreas (GEP) from malignant tumors is relatively difficult. This study evaluated the endosonography findings of pathologically proven GEP. Methods: Thirty-one patients diagnosed with GEP based on a histopathological analysis from January 2004 to July 2018 were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent EUS and an endoscopic resection. Results: Seventeen patients were female, and the median age was 41.1 years (range, 14-74). The lesions were localized most commonly in the antrum. The mean size of the GEP was 10.6 mm (range, 7-15). Superficial type lesions, lesions with heterogeneous echogenicity, mixed pattern lesions, and lesions with indistinct borders were commonly observed on EUS. Calcification, anechoic duct-like structures, and thickening of the muscularis propria were observed in some patients. Endoscopic mucosal resection (41.9%) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (58.1%) were performed. The mean procedure time was 22.5 minutes. Complete resection was achieved for 71% of patients. No statistically significant results between the endosonography findings and complete resection rates were obtained. The mean follow-up esophagogastroduodenoscopy duration was 4.5 months. None of the patients presented with residual lesions on subsequent endoscopy. Conclusions: EUS can help identify the features of GEP. Careful observations of the EUS findings can avoid unnecessary removal of GEP.

        Powder Metallurgy method have been used to fabricate TiC base composite with ferrous binder.TiC base composite has versatile hardness and is usable as sintered, or after heat treatment as required by the given applications.Smooth, round TiC grains impart high wear resistance and lubricity as well known characteristics of this composite.Annealed composite can be formed by conventional machining and be hardened up to 70 HRC in vacuum.The optimizing fabrication process enables this composite to improve mechanical properties in heat, wear and corrosion environments.This study has examine the relationship between fabrication condition and mechanical property in TiC-Cr-Mo-Fe Composite.

        Beneficial Effects of Red Yeast Rice on High-Fat Diet-Induced Obesity, Hyperlipidemia, and Fatty Liver in Mice

        Obesity is a common cause of hyperlipidemia, which is a major coronary risk factor. Previous studies have shown red yeast rice (RYR) effectiveness in lowering low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of RYR on obesity and hyperlipidemia. Mice were randomly separated into five groups: the control group with a normal diet, the high-fat diet (HFD) group fed a HFD without any treatment, and HFD-fed groups supplemented with RYR (1 g/kg/day for 8 weeks, 1 g/kg/day for 12 weeks, and 2.5 g/kg/day for 8 weeks). Body weight was recorded twice and food intake thrice weekly. Liver and fat pads were surgically removed and weighed. The levels of lipid parameters, liver enzymes, and leptin levels were measured. The HFD feeding resulted in obesity, which was associated with increases in body weight, liver weight, fat pad weight, liver enzymes, and plasma leptin levels with the development of hyperlipidemia. RYR prevented weight gain and fat pad weight in mice fed a HFD. RYR alleviated blood lipid parameters, liver enzymes, and leptin levels, and improved atherogenic index. These findings suggest that RYR has therapeutic potential in treating obesity and hyperlipidemia.

        Alkylation and allylation of arylborates give mono(ipso) and/or di(ortho and ipso) substitution products. Those factors which promote polarization or ionization of alkylating agents favor di substitution. The ${\sigma}$-type(ipso) substitution reaction of arylborates involves direct interaction of the carbon-boron bonds rather than predissociation of arylborates into aryllithiums and boranes.

        Effect of Thermal Annealing on Ni/Au Contact to p-GaN

        We deposited Ni (13 nm) / Au (30 nm) layers on p-GaN by using the dc sputtering method in order to produce low-resistivity Ohmic contacts. The Ni (13 nm) / Au (30 nm) contact layers were annealed in air for 15 min at various temperatures. The electrical and the structural properties of the Ni/Au contact to p-GaN were investigated. The current-voltage measurement showed that the resistance of the as-deposited sample was very high. However, the sample annealed at 600 ℃ showed Ohmic-like behavior with a specific contact resistance of 1.9 × 10−3 cm2. Further increasing the temperature caused the Ohmic-like behavior to be degraded. Transmission electron microscopy and Auger electron spectroscopy were used to characterize the interfacial structure between the Ni/Au electrode and the p-GaN layers. The Ni layer was in contact with the p-GaN before annealing. However, after annealing, the Au layer had diffused from the top layer to the interface. The Au layer on the p-GaN surface resulting from the indiffusion of Au atoms during annealing may contribute to effective Ohmic contact formation.       • 유산소성 운동이 폐기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the swimming exercise on the variation of pulmonary function and blood pressure. In this research, we made a experiment on 12 chosen female bet the age of 30 years and 59 years as to the effect of swimming exercise. we examined and analyzed the variations of pulmonary function of 12 females before to after three times swimming exercises for 8 weeks. we draw conclusions as follows. 1. After swimming exercise for 8 weeks, FEV and IRV among the variations of pulmonary function were increased. However, there were no similar differences to statistics. 2. After swimming exercises for 8 weeks, FVC(p<.01), VC(p<.001), and ERV(p<.05) among the variations of pulmonary function were increased. And, those showed similar differences respectively. In conclusion, we couldn't show that swimming exercises was effective in improving the pulmonary function and blood pressure. Therefore, in the future, we should investigate efficient swimming programs profoundly.

        대학 선수를 위한 스포츠 도움추구태도 검사지 개발

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a inventory and verify its validity by exploring the concept definition and constituent factors of a sports help seeking attitude. Methods: In order to collect the data of this study, 106 university athletes were collected through open questionnaires, classified topics, and categorized them to suit the research subject. In addition, to verify the internal validity of the sports help seeking attitude inventory, preliminary questions, descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, and exploratory factor analysis were performed on 275 university athletes. In order to additionally verify the factor structure of the developed inventory and verify external validity confirmatory factor analysis, convergence validity, discrimination validity, and prediction validity were also performed on 151 university athletes from other places. Results: Firstly, four factors were found out from university athletes’ attitude for sports assistance which are trust on expert, stigma tolerance, assistance need, and openness to interpersonal relationships. Also, university athletes were found to experience the need for mental control with experts, the pessimistic views toward them as well as the need for help from sports psychological counselors, and the help experience of parents and leaders the most. Secondly, sports assistance attitude inventory were developed by preliminary question technical statistics analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, 4 factors and 16 questions of sports assistance attitude inventory were developed in total. Thirdly, as a result of analyzing the external validity of the developed sports assistance attitude inventory, validity was found in convergent validity, and the predictive validity of discrimination was not found. Conclusion: Through this study it was found that university athletes have been in need of help. However, they haven’t been able to freely ask for help due to being stigmatized It is expected that using programs related to university athletes’ attitude for sports assistance and sports assistance inventory will improve university athletes’ attitude toward sports and contribute to comprehend their features in the future.

        Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy Associated with Severe Hypocalcemia Secondary to Idiopathic Hypoparathyroidism

        The etiology and pathophysiology of takotsubo cardiomyopathy have not yet been fully clarified. We report a case of takotsubo cardio -myopathy associated with severe hypocalcemia secondary to hypoparathyroidism. A 69-year-old woman presented with acute pulmonary edema caused by severe left ventricular dysfunction with apical ballooning compatible with takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Laboratory tests revealed severe hypocalcemia secondary to idiopathic hypoparathyroidism. Coronary angiography showed normal coronary artery func-tion. Her symptoms and signs of heart failure improved dramatically with the correction of hypocalcemia through calcium and calcitriol replacement.
