In recent, realistic content has been applied in various ways due to the development of display technology and hologram, the final realistic content technology, have been used limitedly in accordance with the growing public demand. However, most realistic content requires additional devices of HMD (head mounted device) or glasses type, and other realistic content display technologies deliver a single image plane in the experience space to the user, providing a monotonous content experience. Various realistic contents with hologram technology are introduced in this work. In addition, we propose an interaction based realistic hologram service based that combines projection mapping and floating holograms. Projection-mapped screens and multi-floating hologram device provide a three-dimensional volumetric space with extended depth orientation from the user's point of view, while allowing users' entire and partial motions to be recognizable through multiple sensors.

The soil particle size distribution is largely influenced by the particle crushing during the soil compaction. Therefore, it is important to be able to identify and quantify the effect of particle crushing for their engineering properties of soil. It was known that the fragmentation fractal dimension could simulate the soil particle size distribution. In this study the fractal theory was used to characterize the crushing of soil particles. A series of compaction and drop tests on the decomposed granite soil was performed at various energy, and the particle distribution were determined before and after tests. In order to quantify the amount of particle crushing, a new factor, CR, which was called crushing ratio, was proposed in this paper. It was shown that CR had a close relation to the ratio of surface area, C(Fukumoto) and index of crushing, I.C(Aughenbough) for the tested soil. And CR, also could determine the amount of particle crushing for other test, such as triaxial compression test or Gyratory test. 흙의 입도는 다짐작업시 입자의 파쇄에 의해 큰 영향을 받는다. 따라서, 흙의 공학적 특성에 따른 입자 파쇄의 영향을 정량화하고 표현하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 흙의 입도분포곡선을 분열프랙탈차원(Df)으로 나타낼 수 있다는 것이 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는, 프랙탈 이론을 흙 입자에 대한 파쇄특성을 표현하는데 사용하였다. 화강암 풍화토에 대하여 실내다짐시험과 낙하시험에 의해 에너지를 변화시켜 입자를 파쇄시킨 후 파쇄전·후의 시료에 대하여 입도분포를 구하였다. 본 논문에서는 입자의 파쇄량을 정량화하기 위해 새로운 계수인 파쇄율(CR) 을 제안하였다. 분석 결과, CR은 기존의 파쇄를 나타내는데 사용되어 왔던 표면적비(C) 및 파쇄지수(I.C)와 좋은 상관관계를 보였다. 그리고, 삼축압축시험과 Gyratory 시험의 경우도 입자의 파쇄성을 CR로 정량화할 수 있었다.

Background/Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlations between inflammatory factors—including absolute lymphocyte count, lactate dehydrogenase, β2-microglobulin, albumin, C-reactive protein, and ferritin—and the prognosis for survival in patients with multiple myeloma (MM) treated with induction chemotherapy containing thalidomide and who underwent autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT). Methods: Data from patients at 13 university hospitals in South Korea were collected retrospectively between December 2005 and May 2013. Results: The median age of the 232 patients was 57 years (range, 33 to 77) and the male to female ratio was 1.09:1. In the multivariate analysis, fewer than two combined abnormal inflammatory factors was the only independent prognostic factor for superior progression-free survival (relative risk [RR], 0.618; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.409 to 0.933; p = 0.022), and platelet count > 100 × 109/L and fewer than two combined abnormal inflammatory factors were independent prognostic factors for superior overall survival (RR, 4.739; 95% CI, 1.897 to 11.839; p = 0.001 and RR, 0.263; 95% CI, 0.113 to 0.612; p = 0.002, respectively). Conclusions: Patients with two or more than two combined inflammatory factors who were treated with thalidomide induction chemotherapy and who underwent ASCT showed significantly shorter survival compared to those with fewer than two combined inflammatory factors. These results could be helpful for predicting prognosis in patients with MM.
