      • A Study of Radio Voice Signal Based on the Time Delay Estimation

        Xinrui Liu,Jinxiang Chen,Xianbo He,Wei Li,Gangyuan Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.9 No.9

The wave of voice signal is narrow and unstable. Besides, it has a non-continuity in time domain and an inconsistent decline of the radio channel, especially the short wave channel, which makes estimating the time delay of the radio’s voice signal very difficult. To solve such problems, the authors creatively combine the voice activity detection with the short-segment processing technology. Meanwhile, by using Weighted Least Squares Phase Fitting method to work out the time delay, we conduct a research in the time delay estimation of radio’s voice signal. The laboratory finding finally shows that this method is far better than the typical Generalized Correlation Method for estimation of time delay.

      • A Novel Text to Image Conversion Method Using Word2Vec and Generative Adversarial Networks

        ( Liu Xinrui ),( Inwhee Joe ) 한국정보처리학회 2019 한국정보처리학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.26 No.1

In this paper, we propose a generative adversarial networks (GAN) based text-to-image generating method. In many natural language processing tasks, which word expressions are determined by their term frequency -inverse document frequency scores. Word2Vec is a type of neural network model that, in the case of an unlabeled corpus, produces a vector that expresses semantics for words in the corpus and an image is generated by GAN training according to the obtained vector. Thanks to the understanding of the word we can generate higher and more realistic images. Our GAN structure is based on deep convolution neural networks and pixel recurrent neural networks. Comparing the generated image with the real image, we get about 88% similarity on the Oxford-102 flowers dataset.

Proteomic Analysis of Shigella Virulence Effectors Secreted under Different Conditions

( Xingming Liu ),( Lilan Lu ),( Xinrui Liu ),( Xiankai Liu ),( Chao Pan ),( Erling Feng ),( Dongshu Wang ),( Chang Niu ),( Li Zhu ),( Hengliang Wang ) 한국미생물 · 생명공학회 2017 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.27 No.1

A series of novel effector molecules secreted by the type three secretion system (T3SS) of Shigella spp. have been reported in recent years. In this study, a proteomic approach was applied to study T3SS effectors systematically. First, proteins secreted by the S. flexneri wildtype strain after Congo Red induction were separated and identified using two-dimensional electrophoresis to display the relative abundance of all kinds of early effectors for the first time. Then, a gene deletion mutant of known virulence repressor (OspD1) and a gene overexpressed mutant of two known virulence activators (MxiE and IpgC) were constructed and analyzed to discover potential late effectors. Furthermore, the supernatant proteins of gene deletion mutants of two known translocators (IpaB and IpaD), which would constantly secrete effectors, were also analyzed. Among all of the secreted proteins identified in our study, IpaH1.4, IpaH_5, and IpaH_7 have not been reported before. These proteomics data of the secreted effectors will be valuable to understand the pathogenesis of S. flexneri.

The influence of surface lithium residue to the performance of LiNi0.9Co0.05Mn0.05O2 cathode materials

        Liu Junjie,Chu Chenxiao,Qin Xianzhong,Meng Weisong,Xu Xinrui,Wang Bo,Cai Feipeng 한국세라믹학회 2023 한국세라믹학회지 Vol.60 No.3

High nickel ternary cathode materials (Ni ≥ 90%) have great potential for application as power batteries in electric vehicles and have become a hot spot for research on cathode materials. However, the residual Li on the surface of the high Ni ternary cathode materials prepared by solid-phase sintering is one of the main reasons affecting their electrochemical performance. It is found that Li1 + x(Ni0.9Co0.05Mn0.05)1-xO2 with x = 0.3, which has a discharge-specific capacity of 205.74 mAh g −1 at 2.7–4.3 V, 0.1C and 184.1 mAh g −1 at 1 C, retained 89% of its initial discharge capacity after 100 cycles at 1 C. The discharge-specifi c capacity at 10 C was 153.14 mAh g −1. In addition, the Li residue of NCM90-1.03 was 17,189.959 ppm, and the total alkalinity was 4196.896 ppm. The results by X-ray diff raction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed that when the Li excess was 0.3%, it was possible to obtain uniform particle size, a wider Li layer, and reduced cation mixing. Therefore, choosing the right amount of excess Li can stimulate the application prospect of NCM90 in new energy vehicles.

Zhizhu Decoction Promotes Gastric Emptying and Protects the Gastric Mucosa

        Wei He,Yi Zhang,Xinrui Wang,Lingling Guo,Lifeng Han,Erwei Liu,Tao Wang 한국식품영양과학회 2013 Journal of medicinal food Vol.16 No.4

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of the Zhizhu decoction on gastric emptying and gastric mucosal protection. The Zhizhu decoction is composed of Aurantii fructus and Atractylodes macrocephala Rhizoma. Results showed that oral administration of the Zhizhu decoction accelerated gastric emptying in mouse and protected gastric mucosa from ethanol-induced ulcers in rat. Our investigations demonstrated that the Zhizhu decoction accelerated gastric emptying, at least in part, by activating the muscarinic and 5-HT3 receptors. The gastroprotective effect is involved in its antioxidant effects and increased vascular endothelial growth factor expression.

Dietary apidaecin Api-PR19 addition enhances growth performance by regulating gut health and microbiota in broilers

        Wang Chenxu,Wang Xinrui,Liu Rui,Min Jiyang,Yang Xiaojun,Zhang Lixin 아세아·태평양축산학회 2024 Animal Bioscience Vol.37 No.9

Objective: This study investigated the effects of Apidaecin Api-PR19 as feed additive on growth performance, intestinal health, and small intestinal microbiota of broilers. Methods: A total of 360 1-d-old Arbor Acres broilers were randomly assigned to 3 groups with 6 replicates including control group with basal diet (CON), antibiotic growth promotor group with basal plus 10 mg/kg colistin sulfate and 50 mg/kg roxarsone (AGP), and antibacterial peptide group with basal diet plus 330 mg/kg Apidaecin Api-PR19 (ABP). The trial lasted 35 d.Results: Results showed that dietary Api-PR19 addition increased (p<0.05) the average daily feed intake, average daily gain and decreased (p<0.05) feed conversion ratio (FCR) during 1 to 21 d compared with the CON group. The digestibility of dry matter and crude protein were higher in AGP and ABP groups (p<0.05) where greater trypsin activity was detected in duodenum (p<0.05). The ratio of villus height to crypt depth (V/C) in duodenum and jejunum was increased at 35 d when broilers were given diets with ABP or AGP (p<0.05). Besides, ABP treatments up-regulated (p<0.05) the mRNA expression of <i>EAAT3, GLUT2, ZO-1</i>, and <i>Claudin-1</i> in duodenum of broilers at 35 d of age. The results of immunohistochemistry showed that ABP treatment significantly increased (p<0.05) duodenal secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) content. In addition, 16S rRNA gene sequencing revealed that there were differences in the intestinal microbiota diversity and composition among three groups. Notably, the linear discriminant analysis effect size showed that <i>p_Firmicutes, g_Enterococcus, g_Carnobacterium, g_Kitasatospora</i>, and <i>g_Acidaminococcus</i> were dominant in ABP group. Redundancy analysis showed that these changes in gut microbiota in ABP group had correlation with growth performance, intestinal morphology, and content of sIgA.Conclusion: In general, these results indicated that dietary 330 mg/kg Apidaecin Api-PR19 supplementation promoted growth performance of broilers by improving intestinal development, nutrients absorption, immune function and modulating intestinal microbiota. The TL1A-DR3 Axis in Asthma: Membrane-Bound and Secreted TL1A Co-Determined the Development of Airway Remodeling

        Zhang Jintao,Zhang Dong,Pan Yun,Liu Xiaofei,Xu Jiawei,Qiao Xinrui,Cui Wenjing,Dong Liang 대한천식알레르기학회 2022 Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Research Vol.14 No.2

Purpose: Tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A), especially its secreted form, has been shown to contribute to eosinophilic inflammation and mucus production, cardinal features of asthma, through its receptor, death receptor 3 (DR3). However, the role of the TL1A-DR3 axis in asthma, especially in terms of airway remodeling, has not yet been fully understood. Methods: The present study investigated the expression and secretion of TL1A in the lung and human bronchial epithelial cells. DR3 small interfering RNA (siRNA), TL1A siRNA, and truncated plasmids were used respectively to identify the function of the TL1A-DR3 axis in vitro. To further validate the roles of the TL1A-DR3 axis in asthma, we collected airway biopsies and sputa from asthmatic patients and constructed a mouse model following rTL1A administration, DR3 knockdown, and TL1A knockout, the asthma-related inflammatory response and the pathological changes in airways were analyzed using various experimental methods. Associated signaling pathways downstream of TL1A knockout in the mouse model were analyzed using RNA sequencing. Results: TL1A, especially its non-secreted form (nsTL1A) was involved in the remodeling process in asthmatics’ airways. Knockdown of TL1A or its receptor DR3 decreased the expression of fibrosis-associated protein in BEAS-2B cells. Reversely, overexpression of nsTL1A in airway epithelial cells facilitated the transforming growth factor-β-induced remodeling progress. In the asthma mouse model, activating the TL1A-DR3 axis contributes to airway inflammation, remodeling, and tissue destruction. Reciprocally, DR3 knockdown or TL1A knockout partly reverses airway remodeling in the asthma model induced by ovalbumin. Conclusions: Our results confirm differential TL1A expression (including its secreted and non-secreted form) in asthma, which modulates remodeling. The shared mechanism of action by which nsTL1A and secreted TL1A exert their effects on asthma development might be mediated via the nuclear factor-κB pathway. The TL1A-DR3 axis presents a promising therapeutic target in asthma.
