        과학사적 진화개념 발달 단계에 기초한 초등학생들의 진화 개념 분석

        Students' alternative concepts of evolution are similar to misconcepts and disputes which scientists had in science history. The aims of this study are to analyze the elementary children's concept in evolution based on science history. Lee (2004)'s two tests were applied to 6th grade to investigate the children's evolution concepts and genetic concepts related to the historical development of the evolution concepts. The test results were analyzed in accordance with 4 stages of science history based on Lee (2004)'s method. These stages are divided to stage 1 (Before Lamarck), stage 2 (Lamarck), stage 3 (Darwin), stage 4 (After Darwin). The major results are as follows. Most of elementary school children are fixed to the stage 2. They usually do not show the consistency of evolution concepts in the three dimensional aspects such as mechanism, time, and subjects. Many children do not have concrete meaning of gene, inheritance, sexual reproduction, mutation and could not connect these concetps and process of evolution. Also, they believe the inheritance of acquired traits and spontaneous generation. Therefore it is confirmed that they still have similar misconcepts and disputes which scientists had in transition time between stage 2 and 3 and most of children already have strong Lamarckian thought acquired from daily life experience before learning about natural selection and evolution.

      • 환자, 간호사, 의사가 지각하는 교육요구도와 교육제공정도에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for the planning of education of patients by exploring and comparing patients', nurses' and doctors' perception of the educational needs and degree of providing education. 66 hospitalized patients undergoing chemotherapy and 44 nurses, 42 doctors assigned for the direct care were sampled in 1 university hospital in Taejon from August 30, 1993 to September 30, 1993. For the comparing patients', nurses' and doctors' perecption of the educational needs and degree of providing education, the researcher used Kims' Educational need scale which is composed of 20 item Likert type 5 point scale. Data were analyzed by means of percentile score, SPSS, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation. The result were as follows 1. Comparision of total Mean score patients', nurses' and doctors' perception of the educational need ordering nurses(M=4.0465), patients (M=3.9803), doctors (M=3.8309). The difference between the three group's total Mean score is showed no statistical significant difference. 2. Comparision of total Mean score patients' educational need, patients' percetion of nurses' and doctors' degree of providing education, patients' educational need is scored 3.9803, patients' perception of nurse is scored 2.3431, patients' perception of doctor is scored 2.5022. The difference between the patients' educational need and medical teams' degree of providing education is showed statistical significant difference(P<.001). 3. Comparision of total mean score nurses' educational need is scored 4.0465, nurses' perception of nurses' degree of providing education is scored 2.9920, patients' perception of nurses' degree of providing education is scored 2.3431. The difference of between the nurses' educational need and nurses' perception of nurses' degree of providing education is showed statistical significant difference(P<.001) 4. Comparision of total mean score doctors' educational need is scored 3.8309, doctors' perception of doctors' degree of providing eduation is scored 3.1726, patients' perception of doctors' degree of providing education is scored 2.5022. The difference of between the doctors' educational need and doctors' perception of doctors' degree of providing education is showed statistical difference(P<.001).

        영재 학생들을 위한 과학사-CPS 수업 모형을 활용한 분자생물 영역 수업 프로그램의 개발 및 적용

        This research was aimed to develop and apply the molecular genetics teaching program based on the history of science and creative problem solving model (HS-CPS model) for gifted students. Based on the strategies of creative problem solving and scientific theory development, the HS-CPS teaching program were developed. This program was applied to 8 first and second graders of the special class for invention activity in a high school. Creative problem solving ability in science and the understanding of DNA and gene concept were tested in pre and post of 12 lessons. The results were as follows: First, creative problem solving ability in science was improved meaningfully. Second, HS-CPS teaching program was effective in the understanding of DNA and gene concepts. Third, the students responded positively to the program evaluation questionnaire.

      • 中學校 學生들의 멘델유전에 관한 誤槪念 硏究

        Misconceptions of scientific concepts have been believed to be very persistent and difficult to be overcome through regular classroom activities. Therefore, it is important to find the misconceptions and cognitive structure of students. Mendelian genetics is an important and difficult topic for the student to learn. It is also difficult for the teacher to teach. Chromosome theory of inheritance and the concept of gene is the most important and difficult topics relate to mitosis/meiosis. The purpose of this research is a study of middle school students' understanding of the physical relationship of chromosome and genes. Particularly, this study is to establish new teaching strategy of the 3rd grade middle school students, by analyzing misconceptions of genetic continuity and to enhance their problem solving performance. Total 100 students were selected for this study from 2 different classes. They were all females. The test taken by students was open ended questionnaires. It was developed by Moll & Allen(1987) and it was modified for this study. Misconception was analyzed by personal interview. Each of the interviews was recorded and transcribed. Everything that students wrote and drew during the interviews, as well as the interview transcripts, were used to construct the data to be analyzed. The new instruction program "chromosome card game" used to reverse the misconceptions of Mendelian genetics, which were discovered in this study. The new instruction program was reviewed by having controlled experiment and treated additional study group. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Students have misconception on sister chromatids, the pairs of homologous chromosomes and gamete types. 2. According to the conceptual knowledge of chromosome and gene behavior, three types of chromosome model were suggested such as one-chromosome model, two-chromosome model and four-chromosome model. Many students can not construct the conceptual knowledge of genetics and meiosis. There is a tendency toward being mathematical rather than genetic in problem solving. 3. After the new instruction program was applied to the students, much enhanced study effect was discovered among experiment group. Based on above mentioned study, the classroom teachers must recognize the misconceptions some students have, and modify students' misconceptions, and increase the probability of meaningful learning.

      • Community Sports Club 육성을 둘러싼 학교의 기능에 관한 연구

        This aim of this study is to make clear the role(function) of schools in developing or materializing a comprehensive sports club. This study examines what type of relationship two organizations, the regional society and school system, should have, to develop a sports club, from the collective strategy perspective. The main results of this study is as follows: 1. The importance of a close interorganization relationship between the school system and the local society was proven. 2. Negotiation, compromise, and mutual interdependence were very important in developing an interorganizational relationship. 3. It is important that school plays a crucial role in the local community by taking a leadership when developing a general, regional sports club. For this reason, a reform on school system is in order.

      • 개구리의 消化管內의 寄生蟲에 關한 硏究

        1976年 3月부터 10月까지 부여地方의 개구리를 種別로 採集하여 分類하고 消化管內의 寄生忠을 分類하였다. 1. 부여지방의 개구리는 2科 5種으로 濕한 平地와 논에는 참개구리, 금개구리가 主로 棲息하며 山間溪流나 늪에는 北方産 개구리, 옴개구리, 청개구리가 棲息한다. 2. 消化管內 寄生忠은 10∼14種으로 吸忠類는 Loxogenies liberun Seno, Halipegu japonica YAMAGUTI가 共通種이며, 개구리의 種의 區分없이 널리 分布되어 있다. 線忠奎는 地域에 따라 吸忠類에 比해 區分이 뚜렷하며 山間溪流나 沼에서 사는 개구리의 種은 Gosmoceraca japonica YAMAGUTI가 寄生하며 Hedraris ijimai MORISHITA는 濕한 平地나 논에서 사는 개구리들에 寄生하는 種으로 着做된다. In this study the classification of frog and parasites in the digestive organ of frog in Buye area was carried out from march to October 1976. 1. All frog species in this studied area could be classified into 5 species. Two species-R. nigromaculata and R. nigromaculata chosenica-lived in the wet level ground and rice field and Three species -R. rugosa.R.temporaria dy bow skie and H. arborea japonica-in the mountain stream and smash. 2. Parasitesinthe digestive organ of frogs was classified into 10∼14 species. One species of Nematoda-C.japonica-was in the frogs habited in the mountain stream and swash and on e species-H.ijimai-lived upon frogs in the wet level ground and rice field.

      • 초등학생들의 열과 온도에 대한 대안개념 조사

        In this study, the contents of elementary school science textbooks related to 'heat and temperature' are analyzed and alternative conceptions of "heat and temperature" among students enrolled in grades 4, 5 and 6 are investigated. 259 students were selected from a elementary school located in urban area. The relationships between students' alternative conceptions and the content of elementary science textbooks are also examined. Students' conceptions are analyzed from their answers to a paper-and-pencil test. The typical alternative conception of "heat and temperature" held by students was follows. They think that "heat" is a material and "temperature" is value of heat amount. They can't distinguish between "heat" and "temperature". Their explanation of "heat and temperature" is focused on hot or cool sensation and other observable characteristics of a material. A textbook analysis indicated that contents on "heat and temperature" were organized without the viewpoint of particle motion theory. This may be one of the causes of students' alternative conceptions.

      • 스포츠 행정평가에 관한 실증적 연구

        The purpose of this study is to propose the importance of creating a master plan and the introduction of evaluation in the sport administration. Hense, there are two important issue: the systematization of the master plan, and to create the business evaluation of the business. The method of the research was as follows: we asked 72 local governments in Ibaraki prefecture to answer questionnaireas and then we conducted interviews. It was shown that the present condition isn't satisfactory in either of these issues. That is, most of the cities/towns/villages do not have a master plan of sport, and are not conducting evaluation on the result of the sports projects. Considering the result of the research, we propose a general master planning and a concrete method of evaluation(system model), understanding the inhabitant's needs.

        집단유전 개념 학습에서 귀납적-연역적인 수업효과 비교

        본 연구는 집단 유전(하디-바인베르크 법칙)개념 학습에 있어서 귀납적 지도 방법과 연역적 지도방법에서 효과의 차이를 알아보고 학습자의 인지적 특성에 맞는 수업모형에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 연구대상은 고등학교 남학생 180명이며 90명은 귀납식 수업모형, 90명은 연역식 수업모형으로 수업을 하였다. 인지적 특성을 파악하기 위해서 논리적 사고력 검사(GALT)와 인지양식 검사(GEFT)를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 귀납적인 지도 방법이 연역적인 지도방법에 비해서 유의도 수준 0.01에서 개념 검사 및 성취도 검사에서 유의미하게 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 귀납적 지도방법이 형식적 조작기의 학생과 장 독립적 학생에게 있어서 연역적 地도방법에 비해 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 인지수준이 과도기에 있는 학습자와 장의존적인 학습자에 있어서는 연역적 수업이 평균으로 볼 때는 효과적이었으나 통계적으로는 의미가 없었다. 이러한 결과는 교사들의 학습전략을 다양화 및 학습자의 인지수준과 인지양식에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사해준다. The purposes of this study was to investigate the effect of inductive Instructional method and deductive one concerning the learners' population genetic concepts and achievement according to learners' cognitive characteristics. For the study, 180 students were sampled from a boys' high school: 90 students for inductive teaching method and 90 students for deductive teaching method. Group Assessment of Logical Thinking(GALT) and Group Embedded Figure Test(GEFT) were used as the measure of cognitive characteristics. The results of this study were as follows. 1) The inductive instructional method was more effective in the understanding of population genetic concepts and their achievement. 2)Inductive instructional method was more effective than deductive one for the learners in formal operational level and in field independent cognitive style. 3) For the learners in a transitional level and field dependent cognitive style, deductive instructional way was more effective than inductive way on the average, but it was not statistically significant. It was turned out that learners' cognitive level was one of important factors when teachers instruct the concept of population genetics.
