        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of dictation test on listening ability when various kinds of dictation are applied in the English Class, and to explore the best way for English education. To do this, the hypotheses were established through theoretical ground for effective dictation and to prove the hypotheses, the dictation tests were made, using 3rd Grade of Middle School English Textbook of 6th curriculum and the test periods were given for five to ten minutes. Experimental groups were divided into two groups - Class A which was applied with all kinds of dictation tests and Class B which was applied with minimum unit form. And experimental period is from 2nd March 1998 to 30 October 1999. The experiment was performed during consolidation step. To understand the students' capacity, questionnaires on interest for studying English were surveyed besides IQ test. 2. Word dictation and partial sentence dictation was effective in improving listening as well as vocabulary, 3. Sentence dictation through intonation and stress, which improved student's attention and understanding of sentence, was more effective than 1 or 2 above. 4. What dictation method is applied and how much students have interest was more important than student's I.Q., in improving listening ability. Analyzed results of experimental test are that the dictations of ten minutes performed twice a week are most effective. With improved listening ability, students come to have self-confidence in speaking English and be active in English Class. Results of this study show that listening should be practiced first before other skills and dictation is a stimulative method in listening practice.

      • 『코카서스 백묵원』의 게스투스(Gestus) 연구 : 2009젊은 연극제 용인대학교 참가작을 중심으로

        본 연구는 브레히트의 게스투스(Gustus)이론이 2009 젊은 연극제 용인대학교 참가작 『코카서스 백묵원』공연에서 역할을 연기하는 연기자의 태도 변화와 연기자의 신체적 표현이라고 할 수 있는 게스투스가 어떠한 관계를 나타내는 몸짓으로 나타났는지, 공간을 어떻게 변화시켜 어떤 의 미를 지니게 됐는가를 실증적으로 연구하는 것이 목적이다. 여기서 게스투스(Gustus)란 ‘사회적 몸짓’으로써 개인적이고 주관적인 행위가 아닌 한 인물이 다른 인물과의 관계, 사회 구조적 관계 속에서 몸짓, 태도, 자세 등이 포함된 사회적 성격을 띤 포괄적인 의미로서의 몸짓을 말한다. 연구를 위한 방법으로는 첫째, 브레히트의 서사극을 구성하는 모든 연극언어의 표상으로 인식되는 게스투스의 의미와 사용에 대한 이론을 역사화, 우화극, 생소화로 나누어 살펴보고 둘째, 이러한 이론이 실제 공연에서 어떻게 게스투스로 나타나고 창조적으로 표현되었는지 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 막별로 장면을 나누어 대표적 몸짓이 드러나는 장면에서 그루쉐와 아쯔닥 뿐 아니라 주변 인물들의 사회적 의미를 갖는 몸짓을 구체적 사례를 들어 규명하고자 한다. 대부분의 인물은 고정불변의 인간으로서 취하는 몸짓을 보이지만 환경의 변화에 따라 변하는 두 주인공의 게스투스인 사회적 몸짓은 시간이 흐르고 환경이 변하면서 그루쉐는 아이를 권력이 아닌 한 인간으로 보는 인간적인 정서에 따른 어머니로서의 희생적이고 모성적인 몸짓을 보인다. 아쯔닥은 권력을 가진 자들을 싫어하면서도 주어진 환경에 빠르게 대처하며 자신이 권력을 가진자가 되어 농민과 서민의 편에 서는 환경에 따른 사회적 몸짓으로 분류된다. 왜냐하면 그루쉐는 주어진 환경과 사회적 관계로서의 권력인 아이를 부정하며 아이를 한 인간으로 보고 아이를 위해 자신을 희생해 가며 진 정한 어머니로서 변화되어 가는 모습을 가지기 때문이다. 또한 아쯔닥은 자신에게 닥친 환경 안에서 상황에 맞는 사회적 태도로 헤쳐 나가기 때문이다. 두 인물이 보여주는 게스투스는 하나의 몸짓으로 단정할 수 없지만 주어진 환경과 사회적 관계 속에서 인간은 변할 수 있는 존재라는 브레히트의 생각은 역사화된 우화를 통해 『코카서스 백묵원』에 잘 드러나 있다. The objective of this research is to find out on demonstration how the Gestus theory affected the actors taking part in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Yong-In University's entry performance for the Young Theatre Festival, 2009. It is to seek how Gestus, the change of attitude for the actor or the expression of words or actions, led the actors to take actions to reveal what relationships, therefore how it changed the atmosphere to hold which meaning. Gestus is 'social gesture' in which it is neither personal nor subjective, but is an inclusive term of physical movement, attitude and posture in social relationships between individuals, or individuals within a social structure. The methods used for this research are; first, to divide and examine the theory of Gestus, the symbol of all theatrical terms that form Brecht's epic theatre, by meaning and usage, into historification, parable and alienation, second, to find out how this theory was practised and creatively expressed into actual Gestus. For this, specific examples are presented, the gestures that hold social meanings, of Grusha and Azdak together with other characters in acts that were divided into scenes; that include bold physical gestures. Nearly all characters show gestures that all humans share in common, but the social gesture, gestus, of the two main characters change according to the environment; Grusha shows gestures of sacrifice and motherhood, through humanistic emotion of reflecting her child as a human being rather than symbol of power. Azdak shows distinguished social gestures; although unfriendly to those in power, adapts quickly to the given environment and when gains power, stands on the side of the citizens. It is because Grusha denies the child as a symbol of power in the given social environment, and treats the child as a human being, becoming to sacrifice herself as a genuine mother. As for Azdak, he strives through switching his social attitude accordingly to the changing environment he faces. The Gestus expressed by the two characters can not be concluded into one single gesture, but Brecht's thoughts on how humans can change accordingly to the given environment and social relationships are clearly shown in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, the historicized parable.

      • 분산 환경하에서의 연속미디어의 저장 및 처리를 위한 버퍼 관리

        The continuous media are media which may present continuously at constant time-intervals, such as digital voice, video animation, and motion color video. Because the continuous media are large in volume, efficient buffer management is necessary for processing it with continuity. In this paper, we present distributed processing mechanism and buffer management methods for supporting continuous media in a distributed environment. For this purpose, we propose system architecture to handle continuous media information, and design a remote data access algorithm which can he used to bring continuous media from remote system into the buffer of local system. We calculate analytically the buffer size and the start time of presentation for the systems with limited buffer size, and the interrelationship among media discontinuity, buffer size, and start time of presentation. This interrelationship is also comparatively analyzed by simulation methods.

      • 해외 귀국 청소년의 해외 생활 만족도와 문화성향 태도가 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 조기 유학을 위해 외국에 나갔다가 다시 귀국하는 학생들의 수가 늘어나고 있는 현 실정에서, 귀국 청소년의 해외 생활 만족도와 문화성향 태도가 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 서울·경기 소재의 중․고등학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고 총 299명의 자료를 분석하였다. 먼저 학교적응도와 해외 생활 적응도 및 개인-집단 문화 성향의 상관을 구하여 학교 적응도가 높은 집단과 낮은 집단으로 분류하였고, 해외 생활 만족도와 개인-집단 문화성향을 독립변인, 학교 적응도를 종속변인으로 하여 이원변량분석을 실시하였으며, 단계적(stepwise) 회귀 분석을 통하여 학교적응과 그 하위영역에 대하여 각각의 문화 성향이 적응도에 미치는 정도를 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개인-집단 문화성향의 네 가지 하위영역 모두가 높을수록 해외 생활 경험 후의 국내에서의 학교생활 적응이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 해외 생활 경험 후의 국내에서의 학교생활 적응도는 개인-집단 문화성향 중 개인문화보다는 집단문화에 의해 그 변량이 유의하다고 나타났다. 셋째, 해외 생활 경험 후의 국내에서의 학교생활 적응도에 대하여 개인-집단 문화 성향 중 집단문화(집단수직, 집단수평)와 문화유입의 스트레스의 상호작용이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 동양문화권의 해외생활 경험을 가지고 있는 학생들이 서양문화권의 해외생활 경험을 가지고 있는 학생들보다 국내로 돌아왔을 때의 학교생활 적응도가 높은 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 해외 생활 경험 후 학교생활 적응도를 높이기 위해서는 해외 생활 만족도와 개인-집단 문화 성향을 함께 고려해야 함을 알 수 있었다.

      • 영화에 나타난 소외의식 연구 : ST영화를 중심으로

        This study focuses on the alienation which is the most important philosophical keyword to understand the contemporary society. The current study examined what are the idiosyncrasies of alienation and how could the alienation theory be applied to film sociology. For these research purposes, this study tried to unify the philosophical approach and the sociological approach which are two mainstreams to analyze the alienation. Especially, the study demonstrated the point of contact between J.J. Rousseau's '1'homme natural' and F. Tonnis's 'Gemeinschaft und Gesellschaft'. With drawing the sociological perspective of film from the alienation theories, film sociology was examined to play a bridge role between the alienation theories and filmic texts. We found diverse academic usefulness to study film with a set of researches. In other words, to analyze the filmic texts with the alienation theory is to grasp the changeable human's mental condition, also to understand and describe diverse social appearances which a society faces. It has two reasons. First, film can describe exactly 'the unconscious element' which is hided in society than any other medium. It is possible from film's visual and oral motif. Second, the alienation theory function complement each other, namely the sociological argument which a alienation phenomenon grasps definitely the actual condition, and the philosophical argument which presents the society overcome the alienation. In the film research, SF films are the clear genre showing the usefulness of the alienation theory. Because SF films are the helpful genre which can involve not only the sociological value, but also the historical value. Namely, we can confirm that SF films fulfill their representation of the social, because they describe the contemporary serious vice on the problem of human alienation through the narrative, the character, the filmic space, the filmic image, and the structure of ending. This study analyzed the alienation in SF films with their features. We found the point of contact between SF films and the alienation could be divided into two types, 'the social structure and the alienation', and 'the bureaucracy/technology and the alienation'. First of all, this study found SF films express the alienation with three aspects through the point of contact between Rousseau's '1'homme natural' and Tonnis's 'Gemeinschaft und Gesellschaft' in the social structure and the alienation. First, SF films express the combination of two different social with 'the narrative and the character', and mainly criticize on the vice of the whole will and the alternative will by means of the social condition and Gesellschaft. Also, SF films describe the discord from the social structure, and reveal the mediator combining these societies. Second, SF films shape 'the shift progress of social structure' by means of 'the filmic space and the visual element'. The shift of social structure focuses on the filmic space divided into 'above' vs 'below', 'inside' vs 'outside'. These kinds of divided spaces amplify the alienation revealed in the shift of social structure, and the cutting among societies. The contrast of the spaces reinforces by the visual elements. Third, SF films imply that the radical shift of social structure through 'the structure of ending' cause the two world' collapse finally, and reflect 'an Ambiguous Utopia' which harmonize dialectically by means of grasping merits and demerits of the two social systems. Meanwhile, with the argument and the research of E. Fromm and M. Seeman in 'the bureaucracy/technology and the alienation' SF films suggest 'a dystopia vision' which the human alienation by government system can never be overcome. SF films are considered the cause of alienation from the contemporary structural tendency as the bureaucracy by means of an organic type, and human's mechanization and standardization by means of a technical type. The bureaucracy, the totalitarianism, the technological vice, the supervisory motif, and the controlled motif load miscellaneous in most of SF films which have this vision. The bureaucracy is reinforced by the technology, the reinforced totalitarian bureaucracy appear in the supervisory and the controlled images and the supervisory and the controlled spaces. Above all, the alienation by the bureaucracy appear in a totalitarian nation or a conglomerate as the background. SF films express the loss of humanity and the alienation through the bureaucratic vice emphasizing on the standardized rule and procedure. Meanwhile, the alienation by the technology changes and alienates the humanity, shows the technological vice making human get powerlessness and meaninglessness, and reflects the tragic contradiction which belongs to the modern technology. Especially, the alienation is reinforced by the motif so called supervisor, restriction, and punishment. Through the analysis of filmic texts, this study inspected how can SF films shape the alienation with the filmic expressions, the conquerable structure of alienation appeared in the texts, and examined what is the meaning of alienation following the period. However, this study has a few problems, for example, it did not show the diachronic perspective, also revealed a limitation which the organic mutual relation between the theoretical frames and the texts. These problems are caused by my lack of scholarship. Nevertheless, this study has some significances. Insofar, in the field of film studies has neglected the study of alienation. Therefore, the current study showed the point of departure to activate the study of alienation in film studies. I would like to stop this study, but there are many tasks to research on the alienation in the future.

      • 빅데이터 분석 기법을 활용한 교육복지 정책 언론 보도 분석 : 잠재 디리클레 할당모형을 중심으로

        이 연구는 교육복지를 주제로 보도된 언론 데이터를 수집하여 빅데이터 기법을 활용하여 분석하고 정권별로 정리한 것이다. 교육복지의 개념은 법제화되지 않은 탓에 아직 만족스러운 합의에 이르지 못하였으나, 교육 발전에 크게 기여하는 유용성의 관점에서 문민정부부터 본격적으로 정책화 과정에 이르렀다. 이에 우리는 언론 보도가 정책 여론의 쟁점과 논의를 심층 보도하는 성격에 따라 정책 형성과 결정 과정에 직접적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 점을 근거로 실증적인 관점에서 탐색할 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 최근 교육복지에 대한 사회적인 관심이 증가함에 따라 언론 보도를 잠재 디리클레 할당(LDA) 모형으로 분석한다. 잠재 디리클레 할당 모형은 현존하는 토픽 모델링 기법 중 언론 분석을 하는데 적합한 모형이라 할 수 있다. 연구 진행을 위해 교육복지를 키워드로 한 기사 18,843개의 데이터를 수집하였으며, 각 정권별 키워드 기사를 정리하여 3,782개의 데이터를 추가로 수집하였다. 수집한 데이터는 자연어 처리 과정(NLP)을 거쳐 분석을 진행하였다. 교육복지는 정부 관점에 따라 적용 대상별 차이가 있었으나, 언론 보도는 교육복지 정책을 어떻게 보도하는지, 언론 보도는 그 당시 교육복지 정책의 주요 쟁점과 사건에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 교육복지를 보도하는 보수 언론과 진보 언론은 보도 경향에 어떠한 차이가 있는지, 교육복지에 대한 언론 보도는 정권별로 경향성을 드러내는지를 파악할 수 있었다. In this reaserch, It collects media data reported under the theme of educational welfare, analyze it using big data techniques, and organize it by regime.Although the concept of educational welfare has yet been reached in a satisfactory settlement due to the lack of legislation, the civilian government has reached a full-fledged policy-making process in terms of the usefulness that contributes greatly to the development of education.Therefore, we need to explore from an empirical point of view based on the fact that media reports can directly affect the process of policy formation and decision-making, according to the characteristic that press reports are likely to give a full and particular account of Issues and Discussions of Policy Public Opinion. The study analyzes media reports as a model of potential diriglass allocation as social interest in educational welfare has increased recently.The Latent Dirichlet Allocation is the most advanced and widely used algorithm among existing topical modeling techniques and is suitable for media analysis.For the research, 18,843 articles with educational welfare keywords were collected using crawling technique, and 3,782 additional data were collected by organizing keyword articles according to each regime.The collected datas were analyzed through natural language processing. Although educational welfare was different in applying their policy to people, from the point of view of government, But it was able to figure out the way mess media report educational welfare policy, What is the effect of press report when they handle key Issues and incidents in educational welfare policy, What kind of differences exist between conservative and progressive media by reporting on educational welfare, If Reports regarding to educational welfare show any tendency by regime.
