        최근 무선인터넷이 발달함에 따라, 핸드폰이나 PDA 및 정보가전용 기기들에 플랫폼 독립성, 이식성, 네트워크 이동성의 장점을 갖는 자바기술을 적용한 서비스가 증가하고 있다. 자바 플랫폼은 각각의 하드웨어 플랫폼에 맞게 포팅된 가상머신이 존재하여, 컴파일된 바이트 코드를 해석하기 때문에 플랫폼 독립성을 갖게 된다. 그러나 sun사의 JVM을 사용할 경우 고가의 royalty를 지불해야 하기 때문에 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 “클린눔(Clean Room)"에서 개발한 국산 KVM이 절실하며, 이에 국내에서 활발한 연구가 이루어지고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 자바가상머신의 일부분인 클래스 로더 시스템에 관해 설계 및 구현한다.

      • 2-[(4-Cyanophenyl)amino]-3-chloro-1,4-naphthalenedione (NQ-Y15)의 돌연변이원성

        2-[(4-Cyanophenyl)amino]-3-chloro-1, 4-naphthalenedione (NQ-Y15) was asssayed for its genotoxic potential by using Salmonella typhimurium reversion assay and in vitro chromosome aberration test on Chinese hamster lung cells. In the Ames test, NQ-Y15 induced his+revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA 98 and TA 1537, reaching levels twice the negative control values. But, NQ-Y15 induced only his+revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA 1537 more than twice the control values under the condition with metabolic activation system. In the cytogenetic test on chinese hamster lung cells. NQ-Y15 showed significant chromosomal aberrations, but the incidence was significantly reduced in the presence of metabolic activation.

        발치후 임프란트 매식 시기에 따른 골유착에 관한 연구 : Histomorphometric and Biomechanical Studies 조직형태계측학적 및 생역학적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of timing of implant insertion on osseointegration after tooth extraction. Fifteen mongrel dogs, weighing 15kg or more, were used. The lower right 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th premolars and 1st molar were extracted under general anesthesia. Implants were inserted at 2, 4, and 8 weeks after extraction of the teeth, being designated as 2-, 4-, and 8-week groups, respectively. Results obtained were as follows. 1. Macroscopically there was neither an infection at the implant site nor an exposure of the implant. 2. Histologically the surrounding bone of the implant was less mature in the 2-week group than in the 4- and 8-week groups. 3. The implant-bone contact ranged from 75 to 82%, with no significant differences among the groups. No increase in the implant-bone contact was found with increasing healing periods from 4 to 12 weeks after implant insertions. 4. The average depth (0.64mm) of the fibrous connective tissue ingrowth in the 2-week group was slightly deeper than those in the 4- (0.51mm) and 8-week (0.53mm) groups at 12 weeks after implant insertion. 5. the implant-bone interfacial bond strengths were 73.05kgf in the 2-week group, 69.71 kgf in the 4-week group and 73.76 kgf in the 8-week group. No significant difference was noted in pullout force among the groups. The degree of confidence of interfacial bone strength was highest in the 8-week group, followed by the 4- and 2-week groups. These results indicate that at least 4 weeks of healing period will be required before implant is to be inserted following tooth extraction.

      • 젊은 성인 남자의 흡연과 혈청 지질과의 관련성

        Objectives: This study was performed to find the association of cigarette smoking and blood lipid profiles in healthy young adults. Methods: The data was collected by a self-administered questionnaire and health examination in 489 professional soldiers from 6 to 12 May, 2004. The status of cigarette smoking was classified by non-smoking, ex-smoked, ≤4.9, 5-9.9, and ≥10 pack-years. The statistical analysis were used by chi-square test, analysis of variance and analysis of covariates. Results: In status of subjects cigarette smoking, current smoking, ex-smoked, and non-smoking were 71.8%, 11.2%, and 17.0%, respectively, In distribution by amount of smoking, non-smoking, ex-smoked, ≤4.9 pack-years, 5-9.9 pack-years, and ≥10 pack-years were 17.0%, 11.2%, 37.4%, 21.3%, and 13.1%, respectively. At other confounding variables were controlled, total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were increased significantly when amount of smoking was increased. However, triglyceride and HDL-cholesterol did not showed statistically significant differences, Conclusion: Smoking has relevant to total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol and it is need to perform the further study for finding how blood lipid profiles are affected its level by cigarette smoking and to find an influence of cigarette smoking on cardiovascular disease.

      • 첨가물질에 따른 반죽물성의 특성

        단백질의 gluten형성성질과 전분입자 크기, 형태, 파괴정도 등은 제빵 특성에 기여하나, mixing조건 및 각종 첨가물질(산화환원제, 유화제, 발효유제품, 비전분다당류 및 효소저항성 전분 등)에 따라서 dough물성, 부피, 내부조직이 현저한 개선을 보인다. 이에 몇가지 첨가물질이 제빵성, 특히 dough물성에 미치는 영향을 살피고 최종제품의 품질을 고찰하였다. 1) 밀가루 자체에 산화환원형의 glutathione 및 methoxyhydroquinone이 미량 함유되어 단기간 숙성중 제빵성이 향상되기도 하나 산화제로서 potassium bromate, iodate, permanganate, dehydroascorbic acid, azodicarbonamide 및 L-cystine 환원제로서 methoxyhydroquinone, cystein, dithiothreitol 및 α-Glucosyl rutin 등이 사용되고 있다. 이들의 dough물성에 대한 기능은 비슷하나 밀단백질의 SH기와 SS결합에 상호변환을 일으켜 제품품질을 개선하였다. 2) 유화제는 shortening 대체물질로 선호되기도 하나 반죽 강화제(dough strengthening) 내부조직 유연제 (crumb softening)로서의 기능이 있으며, 물성측정기기에 따라 효과가 다르게 나타나기도 한다. dough강화제로는 SSL, CSL, DATEM, EMG, SE, DMG 및 poly 60 등이 있고 조직 유연제로는 MG가 있다. 그리고 유화제는 산화제와 복합으로 사용할 경우 더 효과가 좋았다. 3) cheese, yogurt, spray-dried yogurt, enzy-modifide cheese 및 cultured whey 등 발효 유제품은 발효하지 않은 탈지우유나 whey 등 유제품보다 dough물성에 영향을 주지 않으나, 발효 유제품을 전혀 첨가하지 않은 dough물성과 비슷한 특성을 니타내었고 향미가 증가되었다. 4) 수용성 고분자량의 arabinoxylan(pentosan)은 dough의 수분흡수를 증가시키고, gluten과 복합적인 수화 film망을 형성하여 crumb조직에도 좋은 영향을 주고, cellulose유도체 및 gum물질 등도 복합분이나 기타 전분빵의 물성을 개량하였다. 5) 제빵중에 형성될 수 있는 효소저항성 전분을 일정량 첨가할 경우 제품의 loaf volume을 제외하고는 dough물성, 관능검사, 저장중의 crumb견고성에서 대조군과 유의적인 차이가 없었다. The literature on the application of food additives for baking as dough conditioners and improvers, is reviewed. The effects of reducing agents(cystein, methoxy hydroquinone, dithiothreitol and α-glucosylrutin) on dough properties can be attributed to the rupture of disulfide bonds within the dough structure. The effects of oxidizing agents(potassium bromate, iodate, permanganate, dehydroascorbic acid, azodicarbonamide and L-cystine) presumably are the result of the cross linking of sulfhydryl group into disulfide linkages, which increases the average moleculer weights of the proteins in the dough. Reduced glutathione and oxidized glutathione and a free radical(GS·) may be involved in the disulfide-sulfhydryl interchange. Therefore, reducing agents increase the extensibility of dough and oxidants improve the handling and baking characteristics of the dough. According to the required properties in bread making, the emulsifiers are normally divided into dough strengtheners and crumb softners, although some emulsifiers(i.e.SSL) show properties for both dough strengthening and crumb softening. DATEM, SSL, CSL, EMG, MDG, polysorbate are the most commonly used dough strengtheners. They exert their effects during fermentation, mechanical handling, shaping and transport, as well as during the proofing and the first part of the baking period. The final results are higher volume and improved crumb structure of the finished goods. Typical crumb softeners are the monoglycerides. Fatty compounds such as monoglycerides can reduce the swelling and solublility of starch and also decrease the level of firmness and firming rate of bread crumb. In general, according to their pH, fermented dairy ingredients do not change dough water absorption but reduce peak time, dough mixing stability and bread specific volume and increased bread firmness during storage. Dough proof time, bread scoring, and mold-free shelf life don’t differ from that of standard milk bread. When milk is the main component of the fermented dairy ingredient(no whey or flour), the quality of the bread is about equivalent to that of standard milk bread. Both arabinoxylan preparations(HMW and LMW) significantly increase the farinograph water absorption and the dough development time. And the HMW arabinoxylans exert significantly greater effects than the LMW preparation. The HMW arabinoxylans maximally improve the loaf volume. Because of their higher moisture content the arabinoxylan-fortified breads exhibit a greater rate of starch retrogradation as assessed by calorimetry. Nevertheless, these breads have softer bread crumbs than the controls. Carboxymethycellulose and hydroxypropylmethylcelluiose is chosen as important structural components of rice flour yeast bread. The breads with high RS levels are comparable to the control wheat bread in sensory analysis. Breads baked with ERHA are significantly smaller in specific volume than are the other breads. Although loaves baked with ERHA have the lowest specific volumes, their crumb firmness is lower than that of the other bread types.

      • 경연 대회를 통한 초ㆍ중고생의 창의력 신장 효과에 관한 연구

        미래 사회를 대비하기 위한 개인의 개성을 존중과 창의적인 능력을 지닌 인간을 양성을 목적으로 충청남도 지역의 초 ㆍ 중고등학생들을 대상으로 한 창의력 경연대회가 공주대학교 과학교육연구소에서 개최되었다. 충청남도 초 ㆍ중 ㆍ 고등학생들을 대상으로 실시한 창의력 경연대회는 창조적 아이디어를 내어 스스로 문제를 해결해 나갈 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 제공하는 좋은 기회였음이 확인되었으나, 일부의 팀에서만 참신하고 재미있는 아이디어들이 제안되었다. 여학생의 참가자 수가 상당히 증가하였으며, 대체적으로 입상권의 학생들의 상당 부분이 여학생이라는 것이 특이할만하다. 학년이 올라감에 따라서 창의적인 아이디어를 내는 양이나 질에 있어서 뒤떨어지는 것으로 분석되었으며, 토론 학습의 적응력이 미흡하고 발표력 및 청취력에 있어서도 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중 ㆍ고등학교의 학교교육에서도 학생들에게 프로젝트형 탐구학습 프로그램의 적용은 물론 토론식 수습을 통한 학생들의 사고의 전환의 기회를 제공해야 할 것으로 사료된다. The creativity competition was held to foster the creativity of elementary and secondary school students in the Institute of Science Education, Kongju national University. It was found that the creativity competition effected on the improvement of inventing creative ideas and problem solving activities. But, only some competitors participated in semifinal and final contests, presented original and interesting ideas. More female students participated in competition than last year. More female participants were awarded a prize than males. Totally, participants were defective in discussion and communication, and presentation and listening ideas. Increasing grades correlated inversely with creativity and originality. There is need of inquiry project teaming programs and presenting opportunities of conversion of thinking by discussing instructions in school

        경기지역 일부 이주노동자들의 직무스트레스와 우울 증상의 상관성

        목적 경기지역 일부 이주노동자들의 우울 증상을 파악하고 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 평가하기 위해 직무스트레스를 중심으로 상관성을 분석하고자 하였다 방법 경기지역 9개 이주노동자 센터에 방문한 이주노동자 488명을 대상으로 12개국 언어로 번역된 구조화된 설문지를 사용하였다 조사항목은 사회 인구학적 및 작업관련 요인 건강행태 과거력 직무스트레스 우울 증상이었으며 직무스트레스는 8개 하부항목이 포함된 한국형 직무스트레스 측정도구K0SS-26을 사용하였다 우울 증상은 조맹제 등이 번역한 CES-D 번역판을 사용하였다 단변량 분석결과 유의한 관련 요인과 직무스트레스를 독립변수로 하여 우울 증상자 유무에 대한 다중 로지스틱희귀분석을 시행하여 관련 위험요인들의 상관성을 평가하였다 결과 연구대상 전체의 우울 증상율은 25.2%였지만 비중국 국적 및 불법 체류자는 각각 32.1%, 32.8%에 달하는 결과를 보였다 관련 혼란변수를 보정한 상태에서 직무스트레스 요인(OR 2.55 95% CI=1.30-4.99)이 우울 증상과 유의한 상관성을 나타내었으며 직무스트레스 하위영역 중 물리환경(OR 2.97 95% CI=1.59-5.53) 직무요구(OR 2.33 95% CI=1.26-4.32) 및 직장문화(OR 3.10 CI=1.49-6.48)가 우울 증상자 발생과 유의한 상관성을 나타냈다 결론 연구대상의 우울 증상율은 국내 일반인구집단과는 비슷한 수준이나 국내 근로자 집단에 비해서는 높았으며 특히 내부집단별로 비 중국국적 및 불법 체류자의 우울 증상율이 높았다 하지만 국적구분과 체류자격의 사회인구학적요인보다 직무스트레스요인이 이주노동자들의 우울증상과 보다 직접적인 상관이 있는 것으로 판단되어 이주노동자들의 우울 증상 발생을 예방하기 위해서는 효과적인 직무스트레스 중재방안이 조치되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. Objectives To investigate the mental health status of migrant workers We focused on the relationship between depressive symptoms and job stress Metheod A questionnaire was administered to 488 migrant workers who visited NGO migrant worker centers located in Kyung-gi province A structured self-reported questionnaire was used to assess each responder's sociodemographics work related characteristics health behaviors past medical history job stress and depression symptoms The job stress questionnaire was used according to K0SS-26 and depression symptoms were measured using CES-D which was translated into Korean We used multiple logistic regression analysis to assess the relationship between risk factors included job stress and depression symptoms Results The prevalence of depression symptoms in survey subjects was 25.2%, but the prevalence of non Chinese nationalities and illegal workers were 32.1% and 32.8% respectively Adjusting for confounding factors job stress (OR 2.55, 95% CI=1.30-4.99) had a statistical meaningful relationship with depression symptoms Among job stress domains, physical environment (OR 2.97 95% CI=1.59-5.53) job demand (OR 2.33 95% CI=1.26 4.32) and occupational climate(0R 3.10 CI=1.49-6.48) were most likely to experience depression symptoms Conclusions The prevalence of depressive symptoms among the study subjects was similar to the prevalence among the general population in Korea but higher than that among the Korean workers In particular, the prevalence among non-Chinese and illegal workers was higher However, the job stress factor appeared to have a more direct correlation with depressive symptoms than the sociodemographic factors of nationality or residential status Hence in order to prevent depressive symptoms of the migrant workers we believe that intervention on job stress is necessary

        보리겨 β-glucan의 추출 및 이화학적 특성

        Waxy barley brans were collected during the pearling process. The extraction of β-glucan from barley bran was effected by the extraction conditions. The β-glucan content increased with temperature, but not with pH. The highest yield, 6.5%, was achieved at pH 7.0 and 55℃. At pH 10 and 45℃, 48.5% of the β-glucan in barley bran was recovered in the gum product, with 54.6% purity. The protein and starch contamination were high, reaching 13.6 and 23.7%, respectively. The β-glucan content was greatest in the subaleurone and aleurone regions (bran fractions 1, 2, 3 and 4), and declined considerably toward the inner layers. A monosaccharide analysis of the purified, β-glucan, from bran fractions 1, 2, 3 and 4, indicated that glucose constituted the majority of the gum. The small amounts of the arabinose and xylose found in the gum may indicate the presence of arabinoxylans as minor constituents. The molecular weights of the β-glucans isolated from bran fraction 1, 2 and 3 were found to be 4.09×10^(5)~4.41×10^(5). The major glycosidic linkages of the β-glucans demonstrated the presence of 2, 4, 6-Me-Gle and 2, 3, 6-Me-Cle. When flow behaviors of barley bran β-glucan were examined, β-glucan exhibited pseudoplastic fluid properties.

        단순 비만 지표로서의 목둘레의 분별점

        연구배경 : 목둘레는 인슐린저항성과 관련된 여러 질환과 연관되어 있으며 인슐린저항성의 위험이 증가되어 있는 환자들에서 목둘레가 임상적인 선별검사로 유용하게 쓰일 수 있으리라고 제시되어진 바 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 목둘레와 비만 관련 지표 및 인슐린저항성의 지표로서의 HOMA score 와의 상관관계를 알아보고, 비만 환자를 예측할 수 있는 최적의 목둘레 분별점을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 건양대학병원 종합검진센터에 내원하여 건강검진을 받은 성인 남녀 대상자 364명 (남자 199명, 여자 165명) 중 249명 (남자 136명, 여자 113명) 실험군(test group)로 하여 receiver output curve (ROC) 분석을 통해 체질량지수 25 kg/㎡에 대한 최적의 (optimal) 민감도와 특이도를 가지는 목둘레 분별점을 구하였으며, 나머지 115명 (남자 63명, 여자 52명)을 유효군 (validation group)으로 하여 실험군에서 얻어진 목둘레 분별점을 적용하여 그 유효성을 알아보았다. 또한 묵둘레와 비만 관련 지표 및 인슐린저항성의 지표로서의 HOMA score와의 상관관계를 알아보았다. 결과 : 목둘레는 남녀 대상군 모두에서 허리둘레, 엉덩이 둘레, 엉덩이허리둘레비, 체질량지수, 체지방률, 공복시 혈중 인슐린, HOMA score와 강한 양의 상관관계를 보였으며 실험군에서 비만 환자를 예측할 수 있는 최적의 목둘레의 분별점은 남자에서는 36.6 cm 여자에서는 32.3 cm 였다. 이때의 민감도는 남자 81.92%, 여자 91.5%, 특이도는 남자 77.4%, 여자 69.7%, 정확도는 남자 80.2%, 여자 85%였다. 또한 실험군에서 얻어진 목둘레의 분별점을 유효군에 적용한 결과 남자에서는 민감도 91.9%, 특이도 53.9%, 정확도 76.1%로 나타났으며 여자에서는 민감도 81.25%, 특이도 85%, 정확도 82.69%로 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구는 측정이 간편한 단순 비만 지표로서의 목둘레와 흔히 사용되는 비만 관련 지표 및 인슐린저항성과의 관련성을 밝혔으며 비만환자를 예측하기 위한 방법으로서 남자 36.6 cm, 여자 32.3 cm라는 목둘레의 분별점을 제시하였다. 향후 보다 일반화할 수 있는 보완 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. Background : Neck circumference has been reported to be related to the other anthropometric measures of obesity and also associated with the metabolic disorders related to insulin resistance. The measurement of neck circumference could be useful in clinical screening for persons at an enhanced risk for insulin resistance. The aim of this study was to determine whether a single measure of neck circumference might be correlated with other obesity indices and HOMA score and to define neck circumference cutoff levels for obesity. Methods : We examined 364 consecutive persons (199 men and 165 women), who visited konyang university hospital health examination center during August, 2002. To find the optimal, maximal sensitivity and specificity for neck circumference, the receiver output curve (ROC) analysis of cutoff points against BMI (25 kg/㎡) was performed using the test group (136 men and 113 women). We validated the cutoff level using validation group (63 men and 52 women). Other obesity indices and fasting glucose and insulin were measured to find the correlation between neck circumference. Results : Neck circumference was significantly correlated with waist circumference, hip circumference, waist hip ratio, BMI, total body fat percent, fasting insulin and HOMA score. Neck circumference 36.6 cm for men and 32.3 cm for women was the best cutoff levels for determining the subjects with BMI over 25 kg/㎡. In the validation unrelated group, the test characteristics were acceptable with 91.9% sensitivity, 53.9% specificity, and 76.1% accuracy for men, and 81.25% sensitivity, 85% specificity, and 82.69% accuracy for women. Conclusion : Neck circumference as a simple and easy screening method for obesity was strongly correlated with the other conventional obesity indices and HOMA score as a index of insulin resistance and we defined neck circumference cutoff level for obesity according existing BMI cutoff levels.
