Objectives : Impaired processing of facial information is one of the broad ranges of cognitive deficits seen in patients with Schi-zophrenia. We aimed to elucidate the differences in brain activities involved in the process of facial working memory between schizophrenic patients and healthy comparison subjects. Methods : Twelve patients with schizophrenia were recruited along with twelve demographically matched healthy volunteers as a comparison group. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) was used to assess cortical activities during the Perfor-mance of a 2-back working memory paradigm using images of neutral faces as mnemonic content. Rcsults : The patient group performed the tasks with reduced accuracy. Group analysis revealed that the left fusiform gyrus, the right superior frontal gyrus, the bilateral middle frontal gyri/insula, the left middle temporal gyrus, the precuneus, the quadrangular lobules and the vermis of cerebellum showed decreased cortical activities in the patient group. On the other hand, an increased level of activation in the lateral prefrontal cortex and the pahetal lobule was observed from the patient group, all in the right hemisphere. Conulusion : A decreased level of activity in the left fusiform gyrus among the patient group implicates inefficient processing of facial information. An increased level of activation in prefrontal and parietal neural networks from the patient group confirms earlier findings on the impaired working memory of patients with schizophrenia.

Neonatal lupus is a rare syndrome occurring In neonates with tranplacentally acquired maternal autoantibodies, In particular anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies. Manifestations include congenital heart block, cutaneous lesions, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, pulmonary or neurological disease and hepatitis. The non-cardiac manifestations resolve by 6 months of age, congenital heart block is irreversible. We experienced a case of neonatal lupus with congenital complete heart block in a newborn of asyptomatic mother with anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies.

MANET 라우팅 프로토콜 QoS 지원서비스의 성능평가에 관한 연구

In this paper, we evaluated two main QoS supporting routing protocol on wireless ad hoc network. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS support service between source and destination becoming a very important issue. Of all routing protocols, DSR and AODV are very important routing protocol in MANET. So we simulated DSR and AODV QoS Routing Protocol Through simulation evaluation tool NS(Network Simulation) based on various environments.

The characteristics and ceremonial procedures of Cheolmul-nori Gut in Gangshin-mu of Whanghae Province, located on the northern part of the Han River, are examined and the conclusion as follows could be drawn: 1. Whanghae Province Guts are mostly made up of wild quick-tempo free-dances and the main elements consist of Do-mu and Hoeseon-mu. 2. On the other hand, there are also other slow dances. Geosang Dance starts with graceful melody and slow tempo. Samhyeon Dance is a joyful one. 3. Many dancing suits, symbolizing the gods with diverse and splendid colors, are used. 4. There are many ceremonial tools according to the procedures. The small tools are used to dance. 5. Some sorcery ostentation of the god's power and mental spirit can be found. 6. The contents of Gut incorporate much of the dramatic element. 7. There is an exchange of messages from the dead delivered by an exorcist.

Mobile nodes in ad hoc mobile networks typically communicate over wireless channels and are capable of movement. These are networks that support multihop communication and can be formed on a temporary basis. This paper proposes a solution that allows mobile nodes to access the wired Internet and to roam from base station to base station. And we also develop the efficient method that adapts in Global MANET which can be changed over time. It is observed that we can reduce not only error detection time but also network load, thus increasing the data reception rate in Global MANET Environment.

李朝末期 民俗 舞踊의 체계적 定立

A variety of folk dances in Choseon Dynasty have been reviewed, such as Whadong Dance, Monk Dance, Lion Dance, Watermelon Dance, Farmers Dance, Dondolrari Dance, and Dalrae Dance. The traditional folk dances of Korea have many kinds of special characteristics. Whadong Dance is a celebration of a good harvest and a joyful life. In whadong Dance, people share the delight. Monk Dance was generated by the influence of Buddhism. After a long inheritance of folk dances with the supreme traditional patterns, Lion Dance was established to show the high creative talent of civilian artists. Watermelon Dance has many sarcastic elements that reveal inabilities of authoritarian officials and their soldiers. It brought ridicule upon the officials and soldiers in a funny way. Farmers dance has been formed through a long historical process and it reflects many special features of local folklore. Dondolrari Dance and Dalrae Dance are the deep reflections of beautiful and joyful personality and simplicity of Choseon people. In conclusion, our folk dances that have been transmitted since late Choseon Dynasty, enshrine and reflect the life of Choseon Dynasty very well. The particular national sentiment and disposition of traditional Koreans are preserved in the motions of the folk dances.

Clozapine 투여후 설사와 혈소판 감소증이 나타난 환자 1례

The clozapine has been used to the treatment of schizophrenic patients unresponsive to conventional antipsychotics, but to administration of clozapine has been restricted because of its propensity to cause agranuloytosis. So side effects associated with the administration of clozapine have probably not been fully elucidated. The authors describe a case of a male schizophrenic who developed prefuse diarrhea, spiking fever and thrombocytopenia associated with the administration of clozapine. Discontinuance of clozapine therapy resulted in improvement of diarrhea and fever followed by normalization of the platelet count. Previous reports of adverse hematologic side effects and gastroenteric reaction induced by clozapine administration are also discussed. We suggest that the physician must keep in mind these side effects and administer clozapine cautiously.

몇 가지 천연물질의 동결저장 고등어에 대한 항산화효과의 비교

동결 저장 중의 고등어 지질 산화에 미치는 몇 가지 천연물질의 영향을 비교하기 위해 고등어를 무처리군과 생강, 마늘, 양파, 회향, 정향, 계피 처리군으로 나누어 -18℃에서 동결 저장하면서 저장 0, 2, 4, 6주 후의 지질의 과산화물가, 카르보닐가, TBA가 및 지방산 조성변화를 측정하여 이들 천연물질의 항산화 효과를 비교한 결과는 다음과 같다. 모든 처리군이 무처리군에 비해 과산화물의 생성 속도를 낮추는 효과를 보였으며, 특히 정향이 가장 효과적이었다. 회향 처리군은 저장 4주 후부터 나머지 처리군들은 저장 전기간 동안 유의적으로 낮은 과산화물가를 나타냈다. 카르보닐가는 회향 처리군을 제외한 모든 처리군이 무처리군에 비해 저장 기간 내내 유의적으로 낮은 수준을 유지하였으며 정향 처리군의 값이 다른 처리군에 비해 유의적으로 낮았다. 회향 처리군은 저장 6주에 무처리군보다 더 높은 값을 나타냈다. TBA가는 저장 직전에는 군간의 유의성이 없었으나 저장 2주부터 무처리군과 유의적인 차이를 보였다. 2주에는 생강과 정향 처리군을 제외한 전 처리군이 무처리군보다 값이 높았으나 저장 4주부터 계피와 회향 처리군을 제외하고는 모두 유의적으로 낮았고 저장 6주에는 전 군의 값이 감소하였다. 저장 중의 지방산 조성 변화는 저장 4주 이후 고도 불포화 지방산 중 docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)함량이 상당히 감소하였고 포화 지방산인 palmitic acid가 상당히 증가하는 변화를 보였다. 그러나 처리군 중에서 정향과 계피균이 타 군에 비해 ω3-polyunsaturated fatty acid/palmitic acid 비를 높게 유지하는 경향을 보였다. 결론적으로 고등어를 6주간 동결 저장하였을 때 생강, 마늘, 양파, 회향, 정향, 계피 등의 천연물질이 고등어 지질의 산화를 억제하는데 효과가 있으며 그 중에서도 정향, 계피, 마늘 등이 양파, 회향, 계피보다 더 효과적이었고 특히 ω3계 고도 불포화 지방산의 산화 억제에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. This study was carried out to investigate the antioxidative activity of some natural products on the lipid oxidation of mackerel during frozen storage. Mackerels were treated with the juices of ginger, garlic, onion, and ethanol extracts of fennel, clove and cinnamon. The treated mackerels were wrapped with polyethylene film and stored at -18℃ for 6 weeks. The oxidation of mackerel lipid was estimated by the periodical measurements of peroxide value (POV), carbonyl value (CV), 2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA) value and fatty acid composition. All of treatments with natural products were effective on the control, and especially clove, ginger, garlic and onion treatments were more effective than other treatments at 2 to 6 weeks of frozen storage. The TBA value of clove, ginger and garlic treatments were significantly lower than the control at 4 week storage and those of treatments were significantly lower than the control at 6 week storage. The changes of DHA composition and ω3-polyunsaturated fatty acid/palmitic acid ratio were less in the treatments with clove and cinnamon compared with control. Among treatments of natural products especially the extract, ginger juice and garlic juice were useful in the prevention of lipid oxidation during the frozen storage of mackerel.

이동 애드 혹 네트워크에서의 환경적응형 QoS AODV 라우팅 프로토콜에 관한 연구

In this paper, we propose a bidirectional mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol based on AODV(ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing) with QoS(quality of service) support. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS guarantee between end points is a very important issue. The existing AODV routing protocol is implemented to use only BE (Best Effort) service. However, actual wireless mobile environment requires to reduce a waste of communication resources and meet with the real-time change of data paths by setting up routes with QoS support, considering available communication resources at each node in advance. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose an adaptive QoS support method using hello message in order to rapidly meet with the change of available communication resources and to smoothly perform route maintenance. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average data reception rate. At that time, we used evaluation parameters such as node's mobility-stop time, hello message period, and packet priority, considering the node's mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. As results, we found that with our proposed method the average data reception rate was increased 16.293%, 15.914%, 17.238% for 300 mobility-stop second case and 4.809%, 4.264%, 2.956% for 300 mobility-stop second case.

Hypoparathyroidism is usually the result of an inadvertent surgical removal of all the parathyroid glands, In some instances, not all the tissues are removed, but the remainder undergoes vascular supply compromise secondary to the fibrotic changes in the neck after surgery, Previously, the surgery for hyperthyroidism was the most frequent cause of acquired hypoparathyroidism. Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is a relatively rare disease that is characterized by hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to a parathyroid hormone deficiency of an unknown cause, It usually develops at a young age, and shows various clinical symptoms and signs accompanied with hypocalcemia. In addition, it is rarely associated with polyglandular autoimmune syndrome during the follow-up. Hypocalcemia and idiopathic hypoparathyroidism associated with labor and lactation are rarely reported condition previously. We here describe a case of a woman in whom the symptomatic severe hypocalcemia appeared after her delivery. We reviewed all the previously reported cases and suggest a possible physiological explanation for the association between pregnancy, lactation, and the appearance of symptomatic hypocalcemia.
