In this paper, we propose a robust clutter pre-thresholding method using background adaptive Threshold Map for the clutter rejection in the complex coastal environment. The proposed algorithm is composed of the use of Threshold Map's and method of its calculation. Additionally we also suggest an automatic decision method of Thresold Map's update. Experimental results on some sets of real infrared image sequence show that the proposed method could remove clutters effectively without any loss of detection rate for the aim target and reduce processing time dramatically.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of online and offline blended education for hygiene and safety management of children's foodservice operations in Eunpyeong-gu. For the teachers of the children's foodservice operations, two online sessions and one offline session were conducted with different educational themes each time. In terms of satisfaction with the education, the online program 'Mission Possible' scored 4.8 points and the collective education of teachers and staff scored 4.6 points, indicating that the training composition and communication with the person in charge were high. In other field opinions, it was found that online and offline education according to the situation was very helpful in the overall management of the children's foodservice operations. With fewer face-to-face opportunities, there were difficulties in on-site support and management. To supplement this, various programs were applied to help children's foodservice operations provide healthy and safe meals and snacks.
고지도 기반 환경변화연구 및 지형분석을 통한 명사십리 해안의 제4기 연안지대 이상기후 퇴적기록 적지선정

This study selected optimal sites in Myeongsasimni located in west coast of Korea for stratigraphic research containing extreme climate event during quaternary period by spatio-temporal analyses of changes in sedimentary environment and land use employing 1918 topographic map, 2000 digital terrain map, 1976 and 2012 air photographies. The study area shows no significant changes in topographic characteristics that hilly areas with relatively large variations in elevation are distributed over north and south part of the study area, and sand dues are developed along the coast line. Moreover, flat low lying areas are located at the back side of the sand dues. The movement of surface run off and sediment loads shows two major trends of inland direction flow from back sides of sand dunes and outland direction flow from high terrains inland, and the two flows merge into the stream located in the center of the study area. Two sink with individual area of $0.2km^2$ are observed in Yongjeong-ri and Jaryong-ri which are located in south central part and south part of the study area, respectively. In addition, sea level change simulation reveals that $3.4km^2$ and $3.64km^2$ are inundated with 3 m of sea level rise in 1918 and 2000, respectively, and it would contribute to chase sea level change records preserved in stratigraphy. The inundated areas overlaps well with sink areas where it indicates the low lying areas located in south cental and south part of the study area are identical for sediment accumulation. The areas with minimal human impact on sediment records over last 100 years are $3.51km^2$ distributed over central and south part of the study area with the land use changes of mud and rice field in 1918 to rice field in 2012. The candidate sites of $0.15km^2$ in central part and $0.09km^2$ in south part are identified for preferable locations of geologic record of extreme climate events during quaternary period based on the overlay analysis of optimal sedimentary environment and land use changes.
김창협의 사단칠정 논의 고찰: 퇴·율절충론 평가에 대한 비판적 검토

Prominent figures in the academic community who supported the eclecticism of Toegye and Yulgok were Cho Sung-gi, Lim Young and Kim Chang-hyeop. Although these scholars belonged to the Seo-in(西人) group, they did not unconditionally accept Lee Yi’s theory or reject Lee Hwang’s theory outright. They took Lee Hwang and Lee Yi's theories as a reference and tried to develop a discussion in line with Zhu's theoretical position. Unlike Lee Yi, who criticized and refuted the assertions of Lee Hwang, they approached the issue by understanding the problem at an expressive level within the Lee Hwang’s theory. They also acknowledged Lee Hwang’s attempt to distinguish between the Four Beginnings(四端) and the Seven Emotions(七情). Nevertheless, they wanted to clarify possible misunderstandings within Lee Hwang’s theory. They used Lee Yi’s theory as the basis for their discussions. From this point of view they were in line with the eclecticism of Toegye and Yulgok. However, they found a flaw in Lee Yi’s theory that weakened the status of Li(理). This is why they have focused their interpretation of the Four Beginnings on the role of Li(理). Kim Chang-hyeop’s perspective differed from that of Cho Sung-gi and Lim Young. Cho Sung-gi and Lim Young interpreted the Four Beginnings as emotions arising from Li(理) and drew inspiration from Lee Hwang’s interpretation. Kim Chang-hyeop, however, acknowledged the importance of Lee Hwang’s differentiation of the Four Beginnings and the Seven Emotions, but did not emphasize Lee Hwang’s consideration of revealing the role of Li(理). Rather, he considered Lee Hwang's interpretation to be similar to Lee Yi's understanding. However, Kim Chang-hyeop, who had the problem of realizing righteousness at the academic level and actively sought to interpret the 'Li' that contained the content of righteousness, was able to think about the role of Li in the formation of the Four Beginnings and, on this basis, tried to overcome the logical difficulties of Lee Yi's theories. The reason why Kim Chang-hyeop did not compensate for the logical weaknesses of Lee Yi's thesis, which was based on Lee Hwang's interpretation of the Four Beginnings and emphasized Li's role, was the existential situation in which he found himself. Kim Chang-hyeop was engaged in important work directly related to the restoration of Seo-in's academic and political position, so it was a burden for him to overcome the logical weaknesses of Lee Yi's thesis based on Yi Hwang's theory. It would have provided an opening for a theoretical attack and threatened the academic orthodoxy of Lee Yi’s thesis. Kim Chang-hyeop's discussion can be seen as an important contribution to the pursuit of the internal completeness of Lee Yi's thesis, rather than a compromise between Lee Hwang and Lee Yi's theoretical merits.
Verbalizacion metalinguistica en el aprendizaje de ELE: un caso de investigacion empirica

This article starts from the recognition of the problem that Korean Spanish students have: the lack of communicative competence. Metalinguistic verbalization is proposed as one of the solutions to the difficulty. The purposes of this study are to investigate the concept of metalinguistic verbalization, to apply it to learn Spanish as foreign language among Korean university students and to check its effects. An empirical research is carried out in a national university in Korea with the objective of checking the effects that metalinguistic verbalization provides. With this study it is verified that although the activity in question does not contribute directly to communication, it facilitates the action since throughout the process students acquire form, meaning and function of the language together and store the knowledge in long-term memory. In addition, this activity ensures the quality of the explicit knowledge of the learners because, as they externalize what they know, teacher can check it and offer them adequate feedback.
계획칸 모듈을 통한 BIM 기반 신한옥 설계 방법론 연구

The purpose of this study is to enhance accessibility to Hanok design by presenting a new BIM-based design methodology for New-Hanok that is highly practical for all users, ultimately achieving the dissemination and revitalization of Hanok. In this study, the ‘Planning-Kan module’ was proposed as the key library unit for the design methodology, which is a scaled-down concept of New-Hanok’s ‘Kan’ referring only to the body structure, separated from the roof frame structure and room. The Planning-Kan module is provided in three types: 1st floor Kan module, Upper floor Kan module, and Attached-Kan module. This study analyzes the advantages of the new design methodology of Planning-Kan module by comparing to the previous methodologies. The Planning-Kan module itself offers a mid-low level of design difficulty while the whole design process of the Planning-Kan module provides a wide range of design freedom, which makes it the most efficient way of designing Hanok for all users. The significance of this study is as follows: Firstly, the study found the need to redefine the concept of ‘Kan’ and adopted the newly defined ‘Planning-Kan’ as the key library unit for the new design methodology, allowing users to approach the design process in a more user-friendly way. Secondly, the study sequentially provided the appropriate LOD for each design phase of Hanok, making it practical for the entire design process from the early design stage to the final. Thirdly, the study indicated that researchers should shift the center of the discussion from Hanok ‘modeling’ methodologies to Hanok ‘design’ methodologies to find ways to revive the Hanok construction industry.
Enhancement of the Thermostability of a Fibrinolytic Enzyme from Bacillus amyloliquefaciensCH51

Bacillus amyloliquefaciensCH51은 분자량 27 kDa 크기의 subtilisin 타입의 혈전용해능을 지니는 단백질분해효소인 AprE51을 생산하였다. 이전연구에서 더 우수한 혈전용해 활성을 갖는 AprE51-6이 세포외 돌연변이법으로 생산되었으며, 본 연구에서는 이 개선된 효소인 AprE51-6의 열안정성을 증진시킬 목적으로 B. subtilissubtilisin E의 아미노산과의 상동성 분석을 통하여 두 아미노산인 Gly-166과 Asn-218이 치환되었다. 그 결과 G166R과 N218S 돌연변이체는 혈전용해능을 보이는 용해능 배지에서 원 효소보다 각각 1.8배와 4.5배 높은 혈전용해능을 보였다. 정제된 두 돌연변이효소인 AprE51-7과 AprE51-8는 원효소인 AprE51-6에 비하여 1.9 그리고 2.5배 높은 kcat값을 나타내었고, 2.1과 1.9배 낮은 기질친화력을 나타내는 Km값을 보여주었다. 특히 AprE51-8는 나토키나아제에 비하여 알칼리 pH 영역에서 높은활성을 유지하였고, 60℃에서 더 우수한 열안정성을 보여주었다. 열안정성의 정도를 나타내는 척도인 반감기 값에서도 AprE51-7과 AprE51-8는 50℃에서 21.5분과 27.3분으로 기존의 AprE51보다 2배 그리고 2.6배 더 긴 반감기를 보였다. AprE51 from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CH51 is a 27 kDa subtilisin-like protease with fibrinolytic activity. AprE51-6 showing increased catalytic activity was produced previously. To enhance the thermostability of AprE51-6, 2 residues, Gly-166 and Asn-218 based on B. subtilis subtilisin E were mutated by site-directed mutagenesis. The results of the mutational analysis showed that substitution of arginine for Gly-166 (AprE51-7) increased the fibrinolytic activity 1.8-fold. An N218S mutant (AprE51-8) also increased the fibrinolytic activity up to 4.5-fold in a fibrin plate assay. Purified AprE51-7 and AprE51-8 mutants had a 1.9- and a 2.5-fold higher kcat, respectively, and a 2.1?1.9-fold lower Km, respectively. This resulted in a 3.8- and a 4.7-fold increase in catalytic efficiency (kcat/ Km), respectively, relative to that of wild-type AprE51. AprE51-8 had a broader pH range than AprE51-6 and nattokinase, especially at an alkaline pH value. In addition, AprE51-8 showed higher thermostability than AprE51-6 at 60℃. The half-lives of AprE51-7 and AprE51-8 at 50℃ were 21.5 and 27.3 min, respectively, which are 2.0 and 2.6 times longer, respectively, than that of the wild-type AprE51.
딥러닝 알고리듬을 활용한 고해상도 물리검층 자료의 생성 연구

This study proposed a deep-learning-based approach that generates synthetic high-resolution log data from original-resolution log data for accurate reservoir characterization, where the resolution of the synthetic data is comparable to that of core data. The reliability of the proposed approach was tested with application to the Volve oil field in Norway using three deep-learning algorithms (i.e., deep neural network, convolutional neural network, and long short-term memory). These deep-learning algorithms were employed to generate high-resolution sonic log data from other log-type data. The overall performance of each algorithm was acceptable. In particular, the long short-term memory algorithm yields a coefficient of determination greater than 0.9 when the high-to-original-resolution ratios are two, five, and ten. We anticipate that the proposed model can be used to derive logging-based reservoir parameters with a resolution that is comparable to that of core-based reservoir parameters.
