This study deals with the distribution and morphological study of the neurons with the neuropeptide Y (NPY) in developing chick brain. The developing brains of Korean native chicks at embryonic days 8 (E8), E10, E12, E14, E16, E18, and E20 were used. The chicks were perfused with 4% paraformaldehyde through the left ventricle and aorta. The brains were removed and transferred into 30% sucrose, and then cut in a cryostat into $60{\mu}m$ in thickness. The sections were immunostained with free-floating and avidin-biotin complex (ABC) methods. The numerous neurons with NPY were first observed in nucleus rotundus of diencephalon at E8. In particular, neurons in nucleus rotundus had the well-developed processes. At E12, the neurons with NPY were distributed widely in diencephalon; nucleus septalis lateralis, medialis, nucleus magnocelluaris preopticus dorsalis, medialis, ventralis, nucleus preopticus medialis, nucleus dorsolateralis anterior thalami pars magnocellularis, and nucleus paraventricularis magnocellularis (paraventricular nucleus) except nucleus rotundus. From E12 to E20, positive neurons were oval-shaped, changed gradually into the spherical- and multipolar-shaped. The shapes of processes were also omnidirectional and the number of those were less than in telencephalon. As the chicks developed, the morphology of neurons with NPY showed the tendency to increase in their sizes and numbers.

이벤트 기반 서비스 기술은 실시간으로 발생하는 이벤트를 감지하고 분석하여 이에 대한 반응으로 서비스가 연동되는 기술로, 실시간 기업 환경 구축이나 유비쿼터스 서비스 환경 구축을 위한 핵심 기반 기술이다. 실시간 기업 환경에서 요구되고 있는 기업내업무 프로세스에서 발생하는 다양한 정보를 실시간 모니터링, 분석하여 변화에 대한 신속한 대응을 제공하거나, 유비쿼터스 서비스 환경에서 상황에 맞게 적시에 맞춤형서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 이벤트 기반의 서비스 기술이 요구된다. 본 고에서는 이벤트 기반 아키텍처의 개념, 발전 방향 및 구성 요소에 대해 설명하고, 실시간으로 발생하는 대량의 이벤트를 처리하여 의미있는 상황 정보를 제공하거나 서비스를 연동하는 기술인 이벤트 스트림 처리 기술에 대해 살펴본다.

This study is designed to furnish basic data for development of health -care program to promote health of the middle-aged adult by making the middle-aged adult an object who have radically increasing death rate because of chronic degenerative diaease, finding out the executive degree of health -promoting behaviors, and verifying the relation between self-efficacy/perceived health status and health -promoting behaviors. The results are as follows. 1) The hypothesis that 'the higher the self-efficacy, the better the health -promoting behaviors' was supported on a meaningful level(r=.30l, p=.000) 2) The hypothesis that 'The health-promoting behaviors will have differences according to the perceived health status' was supported on a meaningful level in the sections of the control of stress(p=.000), the self-achievement (p=.000), the exercise(p=.002), the control of interpersonal relation(p=.014) and the eating habit(p=.061) and was rejected in the sections of drinking' smoking(p=.787), heath-responsibility (p=.061). The fact that executive degree of health -promoting life-style have correlation with self-efficacy was found out and we need to develop health-education program to promote self-efficacy.

클라우드 기반 대규모 데미터 처리 및 관리 기술

인터넷 서비스 데이터량의 지속적인 증가로 대량의 원시 데이터로부터 정보를 가공 처리하는 과정, 체계화된 정보의 저장 관리 및 유용한 정보를 추출하기 위한 분석 등에 분산 컴퓨팅 기술을 적용하는 움직임이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존의 RDBMS 기술, MPI 분산 처리 기술 등은 대규모 데이터 처리 환경에 적용하기에는 운영 환경, 기능/성능면에서 확장성 혹은 고비용 문제가 따른다. 그러므로 저가의 서버들로 구성된 대규모 클러스터 환경을 기반으로 분산 컴퓨팅 기술을 적용한 새로운 시스템들이 대규모 데이터 처리를 요하는 인터넷 서비스 응용에 이용되고 있다. 이를 기반으로 바이오인포매틱스, 과학 시뮬레이션, 비즈니스 인텔리전스 등 다른 응용 영역으로 확대하여 클라우드 서비스로 제공하려는 비즈니스 모델이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 분산 컴퓨팅 기술을 적용한 대규모 데이터 저장 관리 및 처리 기술 동향을 조사하고 클라우드 기반 서비스로의 발전 방향을 서술한다.

Inhibitory Effect of Ore Minerals on the Allergic Inflammation in Mouse

The ore minerals, mainly composed of sericite, talc, and halloysite, were investigated for their inhibitory effect on the allergic inflammation in mice by measuring the serum IgE level, inflammatory cytokine production, and histamine and â-hexosaminidase releases. When the mice were ovalbumin (OVA)-challenged prior to the ore mineral treatment, the IgE level in the serum decreased significantly. The ore minerals significantly reduced the productions of IL-4 and the tumor necrosis factor-á in the bronchial alveolar lavage fluid challenged with OVA. The inflammatory infiltrates, found in the lung of the OVA-challenged mouse, were also notably decreased following the ore mineral treatment. The ore minerals significantly reduced the release of histamine and â-hexosaminidase from the RBL-2H3 cells. These results suggest that the ore minerals may be useful as potent inhibitors of the allergic inflammation in mice. 공학문제 해결을 위한 프로그램에서의 재사용이 가능한 Matrix의 효율적 자동생성기법

공학문제 해결을 위한 수치적 프로그램에서 원하는 해와 그 해의 변이 값에 대하여 같은 수준의 오차를 유지할 수 있는 기존의 복합유한 요소방법을 소개하고 이에 대한 효과적인 프로그램 재사용을 이용한 Matrix 생성기법을 소개한다. 또한, 원하는 임의의 차수의 기저에 대한 Matrix의 자동 생성기법을 제안한다. 여기서, 자동 생성된 Matrix는 최소한의 nonzero element를 갖고, 이는 Inverse Matriix 형성에 있어서 최소오차와 효율성을 보장한다. 위에서 제안한 MatriBt 생성기법을 최소표면적 문제에 적용하여 본다. We show the mixed finite element method which induces solutions that has the same order of errors for both the gradient of the solution and the solution itself. The technique to construct an efficient reusable matrix is suggested. Two families of mixed finite element methods are introduced with an automatic generating technique for matrix with my order of basis. The generated matrix by this technique has more accurate values and is a sparse matrix. This new technique is applied to solve a minimal surface problem.

As the multimedia application services have been getting various in Internet, need of multimedia database management system which can manage various multimedia information effectively has been increased. The multimedia application generally needs the features to store, manage, retrieve the multimedia data. We need a database management system framework that may be easily integrated with these features. This paper proposes th database management system framework providing the easy integration with various multimedia information retrieval. The framework uses OQL as the retrieval interface, so that user can use it easily. It can be integrated dynamically and easily with various multimedia retrieval method as a loosely coupled system. In addition there is no performance degradation caused in a loosely coupled system.

천마추출액을 이용한 멥쌀 죽 조청의 항산화 활성 및 품질 특성

This study was performed to investigate the effect of Gastrodia elata extract on the quality characteristics of Non-glutinous rice porridge Jochung, saccharide by barley malt. Non-glutionous Rice Porridge Jochung with 0% (NGR1), 5% (NGR2), 10% (NGR3), 15% (NGR4) and 20% (NGR5) Gastrodia elata extract were produced. Moisture content and Solids content the interaction of two factors, the pH decreased with increasing Gastrodia elata extract concentration. Reducing sugar was significantly higher in groups containing Non-glutinous Rice Porridge Jochung (NGR) with Gastrodia elata extract added than the control group, especially the 15% NGR4 addition group with $1.22{\pm}0.02g/L$. Free acidity contents were 27.27 meq/kg control and 29.67~41.03 meq/kg among the samples with p<0.001. There were significant levels of total phenolics and TEAC found for the antioxidant activity of the Jochung samples with Gastrodia elata extract added. Increasing the ratio of Gastrodia elata Extract in Jochung tended to decrease color value. The results showed that Jochung containng less than 15% Gastrodia elata Extract gave the highest scores in quality characteristics and sensory evaluation.
