        The purpose of this study is to reveal more clearly Japan's colonial policy to rule Chosun implemented by the Japanese Government-General of Korea by analyzing [Kyeong Academy Journal] published during the Japanese colonial period. In 1910, Japan colonized Korea and established Kyeong Academy as a part of its colonial policy supporting ‘the revival of Confucianism’ to attenuate the resistance of Confucian scholars in Chosun and assimilate them. [Kyeong Academy Journal] was a journal published by Kyeong Academy for the purpose of Japan's effective domination over Korea for about 30 years from 1913 to 1944. The total volumes of the journal published were 48. At that time there were 10 Koreans and 3 japanese who worked for publishing the journal. Most of them had been already working for the Academy or were moved to it from different department by promotion or appointment. Kyeong Academy Journal was published in flexible way based on the situation of in and out of the country. They required it to be published only after being censored by The Education and Management Bureau. The published journal was not sold to the general public, but only distributed to limited numbers of social leaders who accorded with Japan's colonial policies. Since [Kyeong Academy Journal] was published for political purposes with substantial supports from the Japanese Government-General of Korea, the articles published in the journal were aimed at persuading Korean Scholars to follow Japanese philosophy and spreading Japan's colonial policies. Most of the authors who wrote the articles were the figures related to the Academy and some Japanese writers participated in it. Also, the structures and contents of the journal were changed according to the changes in Japan's ruling system. This is the result from Japanese government's strong intention to assimilate the intellectual elite and social leaders of Korea. ‘The revival of Confucianism’ it claimed to advocate was a fictional objective. Actually, the journal played a role to advertise Japan's colonial polices with using Confucian languages. It has important meaning itself in that it records and reports the information related to the policies of Government-General of Korea through Kyeong Academy.

      • 기혼 여성소비자의 사회계층과 건강상태 지각에 따른 건강추구소비생활양식

        Interests of modern consumers on health are increasing, and health-seeking consumption lifestyle with a comprehensive concept that includes all consumption behaviors related to physical health and mental health in addition to consumption behavior related to healthy dietary life is appearing. The purpose of study was to develop and verify the health-seeking consumption lifestyle scale that existing health promotion behavior and health-oriented consumption behavior in order to solve each limitation. The study examined relation of social status, perceived health status and health-seeking consumption lifestyle and identified the variables influencing their health-seeking consumption lifestyle. A survey was conducted married women of over 20 year old that used the survey company Now & Future. Total 500 questionnaires were used in the final analysis. The collected data was treated with SPSS 19.0 Statistics program and analyzed in terms of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, mental health-seeking consumption lifestyle scored the highest points with the mean of 3.37 in health-seeking consumption lifestyle. The healthy dietary life seeking consumption lifestyle was mean of 3.19 and physical health-seeking consumption lifestyle was the lowest with the mean of 2.58. Second, for social status which is the major variable of health-seeking consumption lifestyle, the most of research targets belonged to middle class. There was high rate of consumers who perceive themselves as relatively healthy. Third, the difference in health-seeking consumption lifestyle was examined according to the socio-demographic variable. As a result, health-seeking consumption lifestyle was much conducted by the group whose age was from 55 to 65, the group with the average monthly household income of over 4 million won, the group with the average monthly expenditure of over 500,000 won on health related consumption, a group that has higher than university for oneself and one’s spouse, and employed housewives. The correlation in social status, perceived health status and health-seeking consumption lifestyle was examined. As a result, the higher social status they had, the more perceived themselves they were healthy, the more health-seeking consumption lifestyle they engaged in. Fourth, the relative influences of the variable on the health-seeking consumption lifestyle were investigated. As a result, the older age, the higher objective and subjective social status they had, the more physical health-seeking consumption lifestyle they engaged in. In addition, the older age, the more religion they had, the higher objective and subjective social status they had, the more they perceived healthy by comparing with other people of the same age group, the more mental health-seeking consumption lifestyle they engaged in. Finally, the older age, the higher subjective social status they had, the more perceived themselves that they were healthy, the more healthy dietary life seeking consumption lifestyle they engaged in. This study provided the basic data for a consumer education that lead health-seeking consumption lifestyle to help consumers to become healthy. It also contributed to improvement of consumer welfare by suggesting experience-based data for policy support of the government and marketing strategy of a company in order to make health-seeking consumption lifestyle a way of life. 현대 소비자들의 건강에 대한 관심이 계속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 건강한 식생활과 관련한 소비행동 뿐만 아니라 육체적 건강, 정신적 건강 등과 관련한 모든 소비행동을 포함한 포괄적인 개념의 건강추구소비생활양식이 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 기존의 건강증진행위와 건강 관련 소비행동에 대한 각각의 한계점을 해결하고자 이를 동시에 적용한 개념인 건강추구소비생활양식의 척도를 개발 및 검증하고자 하였으며, 사회계층과 건강상태 지각과의 관련성을 살펴보고, 건강추구소비생활양식에 영향을 미치는 변수를 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 설문조사 전문업체 나우앤푸처(now&future)에서 전국의 만 20세 이상의 기혼 여성만을 대상으로 설문조사하여 총 500부를 최종 분석자료로 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19.0 Statistics program을 이용하여, 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 요인분석, t-test와 분산분석, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 건강추구소비생활양식의 일반적 경향은 정신적 건강추구소비생활이 평균 3.37점으로 가장 높게 수행하고 있었으며, 건강한 식생활추구소비생활이 평균 3.19점, 육체적 건강추구소비생활이 평균 2.58점으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 건강추구소비생활양식의 주요 변수인 사회계층은 중층에 속하는 조사대상자가 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 건강상태 지각은 자신을 비교적 건강하다고 지각하는 소비자의 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회 인구학적 변수에 따른 건강추구소비생활양식을 살펴본 결과, 건강추구소비생활양식은 55세 이상 65세 미만 집단, 종교가 있는 집단, 월평균 가계소득이 400만원 이상 집단이 월평균 건강관련 소비지출이 50만원 이상 집단이, 학력과 배우자 학력이 대학교 이상의 높은 집단이, 취업주부일 경우 높은 수준으로 행하고 있었다. 사회계층 및 건강상태 지각과 건강추구소비생활양식의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 사회계층이 높을수록 자신이 건강하다고 지각할수록 건강추구소비생활을 높게 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 관련변인과 건강추구소비생활양식의 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 육체적 건강추구소비생활은 나이가 많을수록, 객관적 사회계층과 주관적 사회계층이 높을수록 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 정신적 추구소비생활은 나이가 많을수록 종교를 가질수록 객관적, 주관적 사회계층이 높을수록 같은 연령대 다른 사람과 비교시 자신이 건강하다고 지각할수록, 높게 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 건강한 식생활추구소비생활은 나이가 많을수록, 주관적 사회계층이 높을수록, 자신이 현재 건강하다고 지각 할수록 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 건강한 소비자로 성장하는데 도움이 되도록 건강추구소비생활을 이끌 수 있는 소비자교육의 기초자료를 마련할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 건강추구소비생활을 생활화 할 수 있도록 정부의 정책적 지원 및 기업의 마케팅전략에 있어 경험적 근거자료를 제시함으로써 소비자복지 증진에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

      • 조산으로 출생한 영유아의 감각처리특성과 섭식, 수면의 상관관계

        본 연구의 목적은 조산으로 출생한 영유아와 일반 영유아의 감각처리능력과 섭식, 수면 차이를 비교하고 조산으로 출생한 영유아의 감각처리능력과 섭식, 수면의 상관관계를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 107명으로 조산아 51명, 일반아동 56명이었다. 감각처리능력을 평가하기 위해 Infant/Toddler Sensory Profile(ITSP)2를 사용하였고 섭식행동을 평가하기 위해 Behavioral Pediatrics Feeding Assessment(BPFAS)를 사용하였다. 수면특성을 평가하기 위해 Brief Infant Sleep Questionnaire(BISQ)를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 통계적인 유의성 검증을 위해 유의수준은 α=.05로 설정하였다. 조산아와 일반아동의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 독립표본 t 검정을 사용하였으며, 조산아의 감각처리능력과 섭식, 수면의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 사용하였다. 조산아와 일반아동의 감각처리능력을 비교한 결과 감각특성 중 감각예민(p=.019), 하위영역 중 구강감각처리능력(p=.001)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 조산아와 일반아동의 섭식행동을 비교한 결과 유의한 차이를 보였다(p=.00). 조산아의 감각처리특성 중 감각회피(r=.443), 감각예민(r=.374)은 섭식빈도와 양의 상관관계를 보였고 감각처리 하위영역 중 일반적 행동(r=.390), 구강감각처리(r=.513)는 섭식빈도와 양의 상관관계를 보였으며 구강감각처리(r=.529)는 섭식문제와 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 수면 특성 중 밤에 깨는 횟수는 감각처리특성 중 감각회피(r=.437)와 감각처리 하위영역 중 일반적 감각처리(r=.283), 행동적 반응(r=.385)과 양의 상관관계를 보였고 재우는데 걸리는 시간은 감각특성 중 등록저하(r=-.323)와 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 밤에 자는 시간은 감각처리 하위영역에서 청각처리(r=-.364), 촉각처리(r=-.335)와 음의 상관관계가 있었으며 낮잠시간은 움직임처리와(r=-.385) 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구는 조산아와 일반아동의 감각처리능력과 섭식에서 차이가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 조산아의 감각처리능력은 섭식, 수면과 상관관계가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 조산아의 감각처리특성과 섭식, 수면의 상호관련성을 알아보고 조산아의 섭식과 수면을 이해하기 위해 감각처리능력이 중요하다는 근거를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study was to compare the difference between preterm infants and toddlers (PT) and full-term infant and toddler(FT) of sensory processing characteristics, feeding and sleep as well as investigate the correlation of sensory processing characteristics with feeding and sleep of preterm infants and toddlers. The subjects of a study were 107 including Infant/Toddler Sensory Profile (ITSP) 2 was used to assess sensory processing characteristics. The Behavioral Pediatrics Feeding Assessment (BPFAS) was used to assess feeding behavior. Brief Infant Sleep Questionnaire (BISQ) was used to assess sleep characteristics. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0. statistical significance level was set α= .05. Independent sample t-test was used in order to compare the difference between PT group and FT group. Pearson correlation analysis was used in order to investigate the correlation of sensory processing characteristics with feeding and sleep of preterm infants and toddlers. There was a significant difference in sensory sensitivityt and oral sensory processing between with PT group and FT group (p<0.05). There was a significant difference in feeding behavior between with PT group and FT group(p<.05). In PT group, there are positive correlations of sensory avoidance (r=.443) and sensory sensitivity (r=.374) with feeding frequency. General behavior(r=.390) and oral sensory processing(r=.513) showed a positive correlation with feeding frequency. In addition, oral sensory processing(r=.529) showed a positive correlation with feeding problem. In the sleep characteristics, the number of night wakenings were positively correlated sensory avoidance(r=.437), general sensory processing(r=.283) and behavioral response (r=0.385). There were negative correlations of night sleep duration(r=-0.323) with auditory processing(r=-.364) and tactile processing(r=-.335). In addition to, day sleep time was negatively correlated with movement processing(r=-.385). It is proved that the interrelationship of sensory processing characteristics with feeding and sleep of preterm infants and toddlers. And it is meaningful to recognize significance of sensory processing characteristics to comprehend feeding and sleep of preterm infants and toddlers.

      • 국가이미지와 의료관광이미지가 해외 의료관광객의 의료관광서비스 구매의도에 미치는 영향 : - 한류문화 관여도의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 의료관광 서비스 선택에서부터 서비스 구매의도까지의 심리적 메커니즘(Mechanism)을 이해하는 이론적 틀을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 이를 위해 국가이미지와 의료관광이미지가 의료관광서비스구매의도에 미치는 영향과 한류문화관여도의 매개역할을 확인해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 한류문화관여도는 국가이미지와 의료관광서비스 구매의도 간의 관계에 있어 매개효과가 있을 것이라는 가설 1과 한류문화관여도는 의료관광이미지와 의료관광서비스 구매의도 간의 관계에 있어 매개효과가 있을 것이라는 가설 2는 채택되었으며, 모두 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 본 연구는 국가이미지와 의료관광이미지가 의료관광서비스구매의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다는 점에서, 또한 이들 간의 관계에서 한류문화관여도가 부분매개역할을 규명한 점에서 이론적 시사점이 있다. 한류문화관여도의 부분매개효과는 의료관광산업의 활성화를 위해 한류를 적절히 활용하는 마케팅 전략의 필요성을 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구는 각 나라 및 그 문화권의 수요자 층의 선호도와 특성을 반영하여 맞춤화된 상품의 개발, 적극적인 홍보의 필요성, 그리고 중국이나 아시아권에 한류 열풍이 불 수 있었던 이유를 탐색하고, 선진사례를 찾아 벤치마킹(Banchmarking)하여 중국 및 아시아권 이외의 국가에 적용해야 함을 제안하였다는 점에서 경영학적 시사점이 있다. The medical tourism industry has grown and evolved to become an emerging tourism industry and hence, enhancing Korea's national competitiveness. In addition, the number of foreign medical tourists visiting Korea for tourism and medical care is increasing on a year by year basis. However, it is difficult to understand the specific factors affecting the decision to purchase medical tourism service. In this work, the decision to purchase is also known as “Purchase Intention”. In the past, studies on purchase intention based on the national image have been conducted, but few studies have examined how the national image influences the purchase intention of the medical tourism service. Currently, the image of Korea as a whole is becoming a trend in the world. The Korean Wave concept has been on the rise since its inception. Korean Wave is defined as the enthusiastic preference of Korean fashion culture. Therefore, if the image of Korea is positively improved by the Korean Wave, we will examine whether it will have a positive influence on the purchase intention of medical tourism services by foreign tourists from other countries. Thus, in this study, the influence of Korean Wave on national image and medical tourism image is analyzed using empirical analysis. First, we analyze the Mediation Effects (Me) of Korean Wave factor on the relationship between national image and medical tourism service purchase intention. Secondly, we observe and analyze the Me of Korean Wave factor on the relationship between medical tourism image and medical tourism service purchase intention. Based on the conducted researches, we confirmed that the Korean Wave culture affects national image and medical tourism image. The Korean Wave culture also positively influences the purchase intention of medical tourism services by foreigners.

      • SNS 몰: 전자상거래에서 단골관계 형성을 위한 SNS의 기능 분석 및 활용에 관한 연구

        소셜네트워킹서비스(Social Networking Service: SNS)와 쇼핑몰을 결합하면 오프라인 거래에서처럼 단골 관계를 형성할 수 있다. 한번이라도 물품을 구매한 고객은 SNS의 팔로우(Follow) 기능을 이용하여 자동으로 단골고객으로 등록하여, 구매자와 생산자와의 관계가 일회성에 그치지 않고 향후에도 지속될 수 있게 하여 잠재고객이 되고, 장기적으로 재구매가 이루어지게 한다. 단골이 된 고객에게 생산자는 신상품 출하 시 객관적인 물품정보 외에 재배하는 동안의 농장 모습이나 농작물의 성장과정 등 생생한 근황과, 파종에서 수확까지의 숨겨진 이야기를 통해 자신이 농사지으며 전원생활을 하는듯한 감성을 자극한다. 소비자는 자신의 SNS 홈에서 기존의 단골 관계인 생산자의 파종, 농사, 수확, 신상품 등의 소식을 타임라인에서 확인하여 필요한 상품을 원클릭(one click)으로 구매할 수 있다. 생산자는 소비자에게 뉴스 및 할인 등의 정보를 제공하여 단골로 만드는 고객 관리가 가능하고, 저장법이나 요리법 등의 다양한 사용법을 안내하며 새로운 물품을 추천하거나 홍보를 할 수 있다. 이러한 장점은 기존의 전자상거래에서 상품의 판매와 홍보가 분리되어 링크를 통해 외부로 연결되어야 하는 문제에서 벗어나 판매와 홍보가 하나의 계정 안에서 수행하도록 하여 사이트 접근성을 높여준다. 이처럼 SNS의 인맥 마케팅 기능에 더하여 시스템은 생산자의 판매 물품을 자동 분류한 카테고리로 소비자의 SNS 홈 페이지에 쇼핑물의 기능을 제공하여 소비자가 원하는 상품을 검색하고 구매할 수 있으며 구매는 자동으로 소비자와 생산자를 단골관계로 연결해준다. 또한 구매자 간에도 구매한 상품에 대한 구매경험을 공유하고, 상품추천, 구매후기 작성 및 기존 구매후기의 재배포가 용이하다. 이처럼 서로 알지 못하던 구매자 사이의 소통도 가능하게 하여, 상품을 추천하고 소식을 확산시키는 것이 ‘SNS 몰’의 가장 큰 특징이다. We can build regular relationships with customers by integrating SNS (Social Networking Service) and internet shopping mall functions. One of the most conspicuous characteristics of a business model that pursues expanding customer relationship is that it tries to lock in customers by encouraging them to repeat purchase in the long-term with the help of “Follow” function in Social Networking Service(SNS), which enables producers to automatically register the customers as potentially important ones and to offer them customized marketing services. In the value chain of the agriculture sector, producers of agricultural products can use SNS functions to provide loyal customers with valuable information and experiences such as the real-time information of their farm and products, hidden stories about the whole process from seeding to harvesting, and the storage and cooking methods of their products. This means that the producers’s websites are now functioning to enable the producers to perform sales and promotion related activities. These activities help the producers invoke customers’ desire to live in the farm and to grow the products themselves. They also raise the accessibility of the producers’ websites as customers are able to share a variety of news and knowledge such as the release of new products. It is a big leap from the traditional e-commerce business model where sales and promotion of a product were separated and could be connected only through outside links. Besides these SNS personal connection building, our system provides shopping mall functions to consumer's SNS home pages with auto classified catalog of products. This two-way, viral characteristics of marketing services using SNS facilitate customers to share product information and their purchase experience with each other, which leads to more effective and efficient communication within the customer community. Then, consumes easily find necessary products and these purchase may lead to regular relationships with sellers. Consumers may redistribute recommendations and reviews and it enables direct communications between consumers who are unknown to each other.

      • 폐기 섬유제품을 활용한 학습자료용 생활용품 디자인 연구

        최근 눈부신 과학의 발달에 따른 신속한 대중매체의 정보전달력 및 활발한 산업활동에 의한 경제성장에 힘입어 소비가 급속히 증가하고 있으며, 의류․섬유제품의 구매와 소비 역시 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 다량구매에 의해 증가하는 사장․폐기되는 의류․섬유제품이 환경오염에 큰 영향을 미친다는 점을 감안하여 일상생활에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 폐기 섬유제품을 활용하여 고등학교 가사․실업계열 교과목「홈 패션」의 재활용 생활용품 내용의 학습자료를 개발하였다. 이 학습자료는 환경교육과 가사․실업계열 교과목「홈 패션」의 재활용 생활용품 내용의 자기주도적 학습을 위한 보조 학습자료이며, 「2009 개정 교육과정」에서 의복 재료․관리 교과의 의복의 재활용 방안과 서양의복구성 교과의 입지 않는 의류의 재활용 방법, 자수와 편물 교과의 편물 제품의 재활용 법 등으로 내용을 보완하였으나 교과서에 수록된 관련 자료 및 내용은 아직도 학생들이 효과적으로 자기주도적인 창의적학습을 하기에는 부족한 상태이므로 이러한 학습자료는 필요성이 클 것으로 사료된다. 이와 같은 필요성에 의해 수행된 본 연구의 내용 및 개발절차는 다음과 같다. 1. 이론적 배경을 확립하기 위하여 문헌조사 등을 통한 재활용, 가사․실업계열 고등학교 의상과의 재활용 교과내용, 재활용 상품 브랜드 등에 대한 기초자료를 수집하였다. 2. 연구 목적인 재활용 학습자료 생활용품 개발을 위하여 1) 대상 폐기 섬유제품을 선정하였다. 2) 선정된 폐기 의류․섬유제품을 수집하였다. 3) 수집된 소재를 대상으로 하여 기획의도에 맞추어 개발할 품목, 디자인, 제작방법 등을 계획하였다. 데님을 활용하여 식탁매트와 컵받침을, 수건을 활용하여 주방수건과 발매트를, 포장용 보자기를 활용하여 냉장고 손잡이와 다용도 가방을, 포장용 리본을 활용하여 머리핀과 헤어밴드 등 총 8점을 개발하였다. 4) 재활용 주재료 이외의 필요한 부속품과 제작에 필요한 용구를 준비하였다. 5) 손바느질과 재봉틀을 이용하여 계획에 따라 순서대로 제품을 제작하였다. 6) 학습자가 쉽게 학습할 수 있도록 재료 및 제작과정을 자세하게 사진과 함께 정리하였다. 7) 많은 사람들이 볼 수 있도록 개인 블로그에 자료를 수록하여 많은 사람들과 정보를 공유할 수 있도록 하였다. 이상과 같이 폐기 의류․섬유제품을 활용하여 환경교육에 도움을 주는 동시에 가사․실업계열 고등학교 의상과의 재활용 학습의 주도적․창의적 학습을 위한 보조학습자료를 개발하였으나 이에 관련된 자료는 아직 많이 부족하여 학생들의 창의성 계발을 위해서는 더욱 많은 참고자료가 필요하다고 사료된다. 따라서 앞으로 재활용 관련 학습자료에 관한 연구․계발이 지속적으로 이루어져야 하며 교사들이 재활용 실천적 교육에 관심을 가지고 학생들을 효과적으로 지도할 수 있도록 이에 관한 연수 프로그램 등의 개발 또한 필요할 것으로 사료된다. A Study on the Design of Living Goods with Waste Fiber Product for Using as Learning Material Kim, Mi Su Department of Clothing Education Graduate School of Education, Kongju National University Supervised by Prof. Kim, Byeong Mee Consumption is increasing fast these days due to the economic growth resulting from the press and media’s greater ability to transmit information faster and active industrial activities, following the superb scientific advancements taking place. Purchase and consumption of apparel and fiber products are increasing as well. With the conviction that the apparel and fiber products that are disposed in greater volume resulting from mass purchase significantly affect environment pollution, this research paper leverages the waste fiber products that are easy to obtain in everyday life to develop the learning material for the class on household management and practical training, 「Home Fashion」 offered in high schools to address the issue of recycling Living Goods. This learning material is supplementary learning material for self-initiated learning that includes the contents pertaining to the recycling of every day products for the education on the environment and for the class on household management and practical training, 「Home Fashion」. The 「Revised 2009 Education Curriculum」complemented contents on the management of the apparel materials, measures on recycling apparel, method for recycling apparel that is not worn pertaining to the Western apparel’s recovery capability, and method for recycling embroidery and woven products. However, data and contents included in the textbooks are not sufficient for the students to engage in self-initiated creative learning. Thus, this data is expected to be in demand. Contents and development procedure for this research, executed due to the above mentioned needed are as follows. 1. To establish the theoretical background, base data on recycling, contents on the recycling used in the apparel related departments at the household management and commercial high schools, and brand of recycled products and so forth were gathered through the research of the existing literatures. 2. To develop every day products for the learning material for recycling, which is the purpose of this research, 1) Target waste fiber products were selected. 2) Selected waste apparel and fiber products were collected. 3) Collected materials were targeted to plan for the item, design and production method for the products subject to development according to the purpose of the plan. Denim, table mat, cup support, towel, kitchen towel, foot mat, cloth for packaging, refrigerator handle, multi-purpose bag and ribbon for packaging were used to develop total of eight items including hair pin and hair band. 4) Besides the main materials for recycling, other necessary auxiliary materials and tools needed for production were prepared. 5) Manual sewing and sewing machine were used to produce products in sequence according to the plan. 6) Material and production process were organized in detail along with photos so that the students can study easily. 7) Data was posted up the personal blog that many people could view the data, in order to share the data with many people. As mentioned above, waste apparel and fiber products were used to help the education on environment while supplementary learning material for the student-initiated and creative learning could take place at the apparel related department at household management or commercial high schools. However, the related data are still very lacking. Likewise, greater number of reference materials is required for the cultivation of students’ creativity. Accordingly, it is necessary to continue on with the research and development on the materials for learning about recycling and teachers must take an interest in the recycling focused action based education so that they can effectively teach their students. Likewise, it is necessary to develop training programs for the teachers as well towards this end.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of art activities on the fine-motor skills and visual perception of the children with mild mental retardation. Two children with mild mental retardation who were attending special class at K Elementary school located in Gimhae city were selected as the subject. The two subjects participated in the art activities program reorganized by the investigator twice a week(60 minutes per session), in total 24 sessions from October 2 to December 21, 2001. The children were observed in terms of behaviors including fine-motor skills each session, and their raw scores of UTVP(Development Test of Visual Perception) were compared before and after the intervention. The results were as follows: First, the children were observed to improve In their fine-motor skills little by little in each session, In particular, their fundamental ability to express themselves in arts got better such as drawing lines and figures and painting with colors. Second, their raw scores in all the subordinate of examination in DTVP increased after the art activities compared to those before art activities. Their improvement in the development of visual perception enabled them to mimic and freely associate, thus leading to spontaneous and bold expressions. Third, not only physical exercise capacities but also emotional changes were observed. One child who were timid and quiet gradually grew into making more active self-expressions. The other child who tended to be tired of everything and irritated easily changed into being patient and persistent to finish a work. They were experiencing the sense of confidence and accomplishment. In conclusion, art activities not only brought artistic interest to the children but also were effective in promoting their fine-motor skills and visual perceptual development.

        This study investigated the product quality characteristics of cupcakes made using green banana powder, which despite being rich in resistant starch and mass producible, is not commonly used. Cupcakes were made by adding green banana powder in quantities of 20, 40, 60, or 80% relative to wheat flour content, and their physicochemical and sensory characteristics were evaluated. Specific gravity of the cupcakes showed an increasing trend with higher green banana powder content(0.89-0.92). Moisture content (25.4-28.5%) and mass (52.5-54.1g) increased with higher green banana powder content, while pH (6.83-6.29), specific volume (1.9-1.5), baking loss (12.5-9.8%), volume (103.3-81.7), and height (6.1-4.2) showed decreasing trends with higher green banana powder content. In color analysis, L (73.4-49.6) and b (40.6-22.6) decreased with higher green banana powder content, while a (-0.8-2.6) showed an increase. Among texture characteristics, hardness increased significantly in proportion to the green banana powder content, and cohesiveness and resilience decreased significantly with lower green banana powder content. In sensory evaluation, a preference test showed that green banana powder content in the range 20–40% produced the highest overall preference, as well as taste and texture preference, but not appearance preference. In a test of differences in characteristics, increasing the green banana powder content was associated with a decrease in volume, and the color of the inside of the cupcake being rated as stronger. In addition, the taste was rated as less sweet and less cloying, and there was a strong smell of bananas. Therefore, we determined that using 20–40% green banana powder could result in cupcakes with high preference.
