스칸디나비안 텍스타일을 응용한 젤 네일아트 디자인 연구

최근 네일아트는 개인의 개성을 드러내거나 트렌드를 반영하는 수단으로 이용되고 있으며 다양한 아트와 디자인이 접목된 네일아트가 인스타그램과 인터넷을 통해 쏟아지고 있다. 급변하는 트렌드만큼 젤 네일의 종류도 다양해지고 있으며 젤 네일 디자인 기법도 발전되고 첨단화 되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 최근 몇 년 사이에 디자인 트렌드의 중심에 서있는 스칸디나비안 텍스타일의 특징을 분석하고 이를 활용하여 젤 네일 아트 디자인에 응용함으로써 젤 네일 아트 디자인 연구와 개발에 도움이 되고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 스칸디나비안 텍스타일 디자인의 특징을 살펴보기 위하여 스웨덴, 덴마크, 핀란드 3국의 텍스타일 디자인을 연구대상으로 삼아 선행연구들을 살펴보았다. 또한 3국의 텍스타일 브랜드 중 5개를 선정하여 각각의 브랜드를 대표하는 텍스타일 디자인을 응용한 젤 네일아트 디자인 5점을 제작하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 번째 작품은 스웨덴의 알메달 텍스타일을 응용하여 디자인 하였으며 새나 과일 등을 응용한 네츄럴한 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 완성하였다. 두 번째 작품은 스웨덴의 티오그루펜 텍스타일을 응용하여 디자인 하였으며 선과 패턴, 강렬한 색채 배색을 응용하여 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 완성하였다. 세 번째 작품은 덴마크의 펌리빙 텍스타일을 응용하여 디자인 하였으며 도형, 동물무늬로 생동감 넘치는 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 완성하였다. 네 번째 작품은 핀란드의 마리메꼬 텍스타일을 응용하여 디자인 하였으며 우니꼬 패턴과 강렬한 색채를 특징으로 한 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 완성하였다. 다섯 번째 작품은 핀란드의 카우니스테 텍스타일을 응용하였으며 꽃과 새를 모티브로 하여 깨끗하고 순수한 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 완성하였다. 이와 같이 스칸디나비안 텍스타일 디자인을 활용하여 젤 네일 아트 디자인으로 작품을 제작함으로써 다른 디자인의 분야와 접목하여 트렌드를 반영하는 젤 네일 아트 디자인을 이끌 수 있음을 알 수 있었고 향후 후속연구에서도 여러 분야에서 모티브를 얻어 젤 네일 아트 디자인의 다양성과 예술성을 높일 수 있는 연구와 개발이 이루어지길 바란다. Recently, nail art has been used as a meas to express people’s individualities and internet sites and Instagram are deluged with nail art inspired by various art and designs. Not only does nail art trend become rapidly changing, but also the types of gel nail are varying and gel nail design techniques are improving and becoming high-tech. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the characteristic of Scandinavian textile which has become the center of the trend these days and utilize it to help gel nail art design research and development by applying it to gel nail art design. For this purpose this study looked into the characteristic of Scandinavian textile design through previous studies and made five pieces of gel nail art design by applying the representative textile brand design of three Scandinavian countries(Sweden, Denmark, and Finland). The results are presented as follows: The first artwork is designed by using Almedahls textile from Sweden and is completed as a natural gel nail art design using birds and fruits. The second artwork is designed by using Tiogruppen textile from Sweden and is completed as a gel nail art design using lines, patterns, and vivid color contrast. The third artwork is designed by using Ferm living textile from Denmark and is completed as a rhythmical gel nail art design using figure patterns and animal paintings. The fourth artwork is designed by using Marimekko textile from Finland and is completed as a gel nail art design characterizing Unikko patterns and vivid color. The fifth artwork is designed by using Kauniste textile from Finland and is completed as a clean and pure gel nail art design with a flowers and birds motif. By making gel nail art design with Scandinavian textile design, it was discovered that gel nail art design can be led by utilizing various design to follow the trend and the results of this study can be used as basic data for further studies to elaborate the variety and artistic quality of gel nail art design.

패션 텍스타일 디자인과 디지털 네일 디바이스를 융합한 네일아트 연구

This study proposed a new approach to nail art design by fusing fashion textile design elements with digital nail devices and expanding possibilities of nail art expression. Based on an analysis of expressive characteristics of motifs found in fashion collections, designs were created using Nail Pop, a digital nail device. Four works were produced for each characteristic using nail art techniques such as hand painting, flat nail art, and 3D art. Results of this study are as follows. First, four elements—symmetry, repetition, continuity, and complexity—were identified as motif representation characteristics of fashion textile designs that could be applied to nail art design, demonstrating their practical applicability. Second, it was confirmed that nail art design using digital nail devices could enable rapid and precise implementation of complex patterns in fashion textile design. Third, by reflecting the latest trends in nail art design by fusing fashion textile design and nail art, nail art could be used as a fashion component beyond a simple beauty element, expanding into a design element that could enhance the overall fashion style. This study is significant in that it presents a new direction for nail art design by integrating textile design with digital nail devices. Future research that combines advanced digital technologies in the nail industry with various fashion textile design characteristics could serve as a valuable foundation to develop a creative and innovative approach not only in the nail industry, but also in related fields.

카무플라주 패턴을 응용한 네일 디자인 연구

This study aims to analyze the design characteristics of camouflage patterns and apply them to nail art to propose original and stylish designs. In line with the trend of modern women expressing their individuality through nail art, this research explores the concept of camouflage, its historical development, and other characteristics based on previous studies, and proposes nail art designs incorporating camouflage patterns. By utilizing various colors and materials, this study presents camouflage nail designs that add a unique touch to everyday life. The research results include five distinct nail art designs: First, a classic camouflage design using colors and patterns similar to natural environments; second, a geometric camouflage design utilizing geometric patterns; third, a unique camouflage design using mix-and-match patterns; fourth, an abstract camouflage design based on geometric patterns; and fifth, a minimalist camouflage design using black and white. By integrating camouflage patterns that have influenced numerous artists and designers, this study presents unique and character-filled nail art designs through a combination of various colors and patterns. The study explores the contemporary significance of camouflage patterns and their diversity, proposing new nail art designs that extend the scope of materials and techniques. It aims to expand the artistic domain of nail art, contributing to both academic development and the advancement of the nail industry. This study holds significance as a resource for expanding the practical and popular design domain of nail art, aiding in the development of new nail art designs.

For the study of nail design 15 kinds of fashion collections samples has been followed hair, costume, makeup, coordination, nail design. Nail design is influenced a moderns all the more so to fashion collections.<BR>  Nail design followed in collections<BR>  First, Both effect by hair design by makeup and costume and color pattern , material is influenced nail design.<BR>  Secondly, Not nail design by hand-painting , nail design by acrylic is express individuality, the simple expansion.<BR>  Thirdly, Nail design by air brush give expression to gradation image.<BR>  When this study considers the result, nail design followed in collections is going to total coordination.

레이스의 유형을 활용한 네일 조형미 -본인의 네일작품을 중심으로-

Nail Art, beautifully shaped, has developed into an attractive element that expresses one's own personality by designing and decorating nails according to the background of the times when personal quality of life is considered important. Modern nail art customers regard clean and tidy nails as manners and manage their hands with nail decorations. The importance of nails has been recognized as the advantage of being able to pursue both mental and external satisfaction in our lives has been highlighted, and customers who access a lot of information through SNS have come to demand original and new nail designs. For this reason, nail artists have reached the limitations of the theme in design creation, and are tempting to design with various materials and motifs to overcome the limitations. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to creatively develop nail art design, which is called the last completion of fashion, by formatively analyzing and utilizing the type of lace in line with the needs of the modern era, which considers appearance as an important competitive factor for individuals. As a research method, the formative elements and principles of the lace structure in architecture, design, and art in the 21st century were examined, analyzed by period through literature, and the works were produced after design sketches. The production method was a set of 10 Stiletto tips for each of the five themes, using gel nails, acrylic, embossing, and 3D techniques. Five original nail designs were produced using UV gel, acrylic, polycigel, etc. as main materials. This study is a work development study that applied the characteristics of the lace to nail design, and we hope that this study will expand the area of formative expression along with the establishment of a systematic process to find the theme of nail design and help as an educational model. 아름답게 조형된 네일아트(Nail Art)는 개인적 삶의 질을 중요하게 생각하는 시대적 배경에 맞게 손톱에 디자인하고 장식을 하면서 자신만의 개성을 표출하는 매력 요소로 발전하였다. 현대의 네일아트고객들은 청결하고 깨끗이 정리된 손톱을 매너(Manner)로 여기며 손톱 장식과 함께 손을 관리한다. 네일 디자인이 우리의 생활에서 정신적 만족과 외형적 만족을 동시에 추구할 수 있다는 장점이 부각되면서 네일의 중요성을 인정받고 있으며, SNS등을 통해 많은 정보를 접하는 고객들은 독창적이고 새로운 네일 디자인을 요구하게 되었다. 이러한 이유로 네일아티스트들은 디자인 창출에 있어서 테마의한계성에 이르게 되었고, 한계성 극복을 위해 다양한 소재와 모티브로의 디자인을 시도하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구의 목적은 외모를 개인의 중요한 경쟁요소로 생각하는 현대 시대의 요구에 맞춰 패션의 마지막 완성이라 일컬어지는 네일아트 디자인을 레이스의 유형을 조형적으로 분석하고 활용하여창의적으로 개발하기 위함이다. 연구방법으로는 21세기 건축, 디자인, 미술에 나타난 레이스 구조의조형요소와 원리를 살펴보고 문헌을 통해 시대별로 분석하여 디자인 스케치 후 작품을 제작했다. 제작방법은 5가지 테마별로 스틸레토 팁(Stiletto Tip) 10개를 한 세트로 하여 젤 네일과 아크릴, 엠보싱, 3D 기법을 활용하고 주료재료로 UV젤, 아크릴, 폴리시젤, 등을 사용하여 독창적인 네일 디자인 5작품을 제작하였다. 이번 연구는 레이스의 특징을 조형적으로 분석하여 네일 디자인에 적용한 작품 개발연구로, 본 연구가 네일 디자인의 테마를 찾는 체계적인 프로세스 구축과 함께 조형적 표현영역을 확대시키고 레이스를 주제로 한 뷰티디자인의 실무 적용과 교육적 자료에 모델로서 의미 있는 도움이 될것을 기대한다.

동화 컬러스토리를 활용한 네일 디자인 개발

As this study is aim to nail designs using fairy tale color story which stimulate rich imagination and emotion by made beauty contents. also the integrated approach of fairy tale and nail designs has various positive expectation effects such as the expansion of creative development area for beauty designs. the research method was based on the literature reviews and the production of empirical study of nail design works. the scope of the study covered the fairy tale of Andersen, the Snow Queen. one set of nail designs based on the first fairy tale produced five sets of nail designs consisting of five nail tips. the based on story structure color emotion combination is nail design 1(9:29:27, 35:39:100, 38:21:56, 74:71:71), nail design 2(100:59:150, 206:23:30, 29:29:27, 248:186:19), nail design 3(50:52:47, 89:105:106, 255:255:255, 238:68:129), nail design 4(255:255:255, 244:147:173, 255:248:169), and nail design 5(184:158:199, 247:187:213, 255:255:255, 110:183:230).

포스트휴머니즘이 표현된 전자의수(電子義手)활용의 네일 디자인 연구

The purpose of the research lies on the post-humanistic society, in which represents the blending of the human body and machinery and produces the nail designs on electronic arms that represent post-humanism. The scope of the image is limited to twelve images of IRI Image Scale. Pivoting on the electronic arm, which is easy to expose and to design nail tips, the research presents nail art images that are designed according to the IRI Color Image Scale. Also, the researcher conducted this research, assuming that the post-humanistic designs or images can be applied to not only nail designs but also other beauty design areas, during the post-humanistic era. To create nail designs that are applicable for electronic arms, the researcher includes theoretical speculation, designed works, and actual production of works. The part about theoretical speculation would provide the concept and background of post-humanism and would analyze the characteristic and current status of an electronic arm, which started to appear since post-humanistic society has come. It also summarizes the concept and application of nail designs. The nail designs are based on IRI Color Image Scale, and they are produced according to adjectives that include colors, motives, and nail design techniques. Most, if not all, of the nail images are designed through rough sketches. The actual designed works are produced by making five different nail tips for each image on IRI Color Image Scale, which includes mild, elegant, delicate, decent, and refined. 본 연구의 목적은 포스트휴머니즘의 시대에 네일 디자인뿐만 아니라 다양한 뷰티 디자인 분야의 포스트휴머니즘에 따른 뷰티 디자인 활성화를 위한 자료로의 활용을 목적으로 하며 과학과 뷰티디자인의 융합임을 시사한다. 인간의 신체와 기계의 융합이라는 포스트휴머니즘의 사회에서 포스트휴머니즘이 표현된 전자의수(電子義手) 활용의 네일 디자인을 제작하여 전자의수의 네일 디자인 이미지를 표현하였으며 이미지의 범위는 IRI 이미지스케일의 온화한, 우아한, 은은한, 점잖은, 고상한의 다섯 가지 이미지로 설정하였다. 포스트휴머니즘의 시대에서 더 이상 인체의 결함을 감추려 하지 않고 신체에 직접적인 장식이 가능해질 것이며 이를 바탕으로 외부에 노출되기 쉽고 네일 팁 디자인의 활용이 용이한 전자의수를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고자하며 색채를 중심으로 디자인하여 러프스케치를 통해 디자인 계획을 시행한다. IRI 이미지스케일의 온화한, 우아한, 은은한, 점잖은, 고상한의 다섯 가지 이미지를 각각 다섯 개의 네일 인조 팁으로 제작하며 이를 정리하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 포스트휴머니즘 시대의 전자의수를 사용하는 소수 이용자를 위한 디자인을 감성 이미지 배색인 IRI이미지 스케일을 바탕으로 온화한, 우아한, 은은한, 점잖은, 고상한의 다섯 가지 이미지로 표현한 네일아트 프로토타입을 제시하였으며 이는 포스트 휴머니즘을 반영한 새로운 뷰티 디자인의 도출을 위한 기초자료로의 의의가 있다.

추상표현주의를 응용한 네일아트 디자인연구

본 연구는 네일아트 디자인이 트랜드에 민감한 성향을 볼 수 있어 모방에 의한 디자인보다 전문가인 네일리스트들의 다양한 문화적 소재와 색상, 재료, 디자인을 추출하여 트렌드 연구와 함께 디자인 개발이 지속적으로 요구된다. 하지만 네일아트 재료들은 이미 포화상태가 되어가면서 정형적인 틀을 초월한 비정형적인 디자인이나 자연물에 영감을 얻어 융합을 시도하는 등의 유기적 디자인, 주체성이 애매모호 하고 추상적이며 기이학적인 디자인들이 등장하기 시작하여 현대미술에서 보여지는 추상표현주의 표현방법과 네일아트의 표현기법을 융합하여 개성있고 창조적인 네일아트 디자인 연구의 방향성 제시와 네일아트가 추상표현주의 미술적 영향을 받은 하나의 예술임을 규명하고 그 영역을 확대하는 데 있다. 추상표현주의의 드리핑, 타시즘, 색면추상, 서체추상 오토마티즘 등의 다양한 기법을 사용하여 회화에 나타난 추상표현주의 유형은 네일아트의 회화기법으로, 조형에 나타난 추상표현주의 유형은 네일아트의 오브제기법으로 나누어 10점의 작품을 제작하였다. 그 결과 네일아트와 추상표현주의의 예술적 연관성이 있는 표현기법 연구를 통해 네일아트와 추상표현주의가 한 장르임을 알 수 있었으며 네일아트 분야의 한계성을 뛰어넘고 독창성과 창의성이 돋보이는 다양한 연구가 이루어져 예술의 한 분야로 자리매김할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고 네일아트 디자인 영역의 확장에 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다. Nail art designs have a tendency of being sensitive to trends, which raises a constant need to develop designs along with trend research by extracting various cultural materials, colors, raw materials, and designs from works by professional nailists rather than design by copying. As nail art materials are already in a saturated state, organic designs have begun to emerge which attempt at fusion by transcending typical frameworks and getting inspiration from atypical designs and natural objects along with abstract and geometric designs whose independence is ambiguous. This study aims to propose the directionality of research on individual and creative nail art designs, demonstrate that nail art was an art under the artistic influence of abstract expressionism, and expand its area by promoting the fusion of the expressive methods of abstract expressionism in contemporary art and those of nail art. The investigator made a total of ten works by employing various techniques of abstract expressionism including dripping, tachisme, color field abstract, calligraphic abstract, and automatism and dividing the types of abstract expressionism in paintings according to the painting techniques of nail art and the types of abstract expressionism in molding according to the objet techniques of nail art. The findings demonstrate that nail art and abstract expressionism belong to the same genre based on the research on expressive techniques artistically connected to nail art and abstract expressionism. The findings of the study will serve as basic data for diverse future studies highlighting the originality and creativity of the nail art field beyond its limitations, the possibilities of nail art establishing itself as an area of art, and the expansion of nail art designs.

생성형 인공지능 이미지 모델을 활용한 키치 네일 디자인 연구

본 연구는 인공지능과 키치 예술의 융합을 통해 네일 디자인 분야에 새로운 창작 방법과 실질적 접근을 제시하고, 실질적 활용 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구는 키치의 네 가지 주요 특성인 풍자성, 쾌락성, 향수성, 유희성을 중심으로 각각의 특성을 시각화하여 네일 디자인에 적용하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 선행연구와 문헌 분석을 통해 키치 특성을 도출하고, 디자인 프로세스를 분석하여 생성형 인공지능 디자인 프로세스를 도출한 후 생성형 인공지능(MidJourney)과 이미지 편집 도구(Photoshop)를 활용하여 네일 디자인 이미지를 제작하였다. 네일 디자인 개발 과정은 분석 및 조사, 문제 정의 및 전략 수립, 이미지 생성, 디자인 최적화, 디자인 확정 및 적용 단계를 체계적으로 진행하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 본 연구는 키치의 주요 특성을 도출해 네일 디자인에 적용하고, 작업 효율성과 창작 범위 확장을 통해 키치 디자인의 새로운 해석과 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 둘째, 생성형 인공지능과 이미지 편집 도구를 활용해 시간과 노력을 절감하고 디자인 실무에 인공지능 기술의 실질적 적용 가능성을 제시하였다. 셋째, 대중적 요소를 예술적으로 재해석하여 새로운 관점의 네일 아트를 구현했으며, 이를 통해 네일 아트가 미적 표현을 넘어 예술적·사회적 메시지를 전달할 가능성을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 네일 디자인에 키치 특성과 인공지능 기술을 적용한 시도로, 네일 아트 디자인의 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 추후 다양한 키치 표현 특성과 디자인 기법을 통합적으로 다룰 필요가 있다. 이 연구의 결과가 네일 디자인 뿐만 아니라 뷰티 산업 전반에서 창의적이고 혁신적인 접근을 위한 실질적 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다. This study aims to propose a new creative method and practical approach in the field of nail design by integrating artificial intelligence with kitsch art, while presenting practical application strategies. The study focuses on visualizing and applying the four key characteristics of Kitsch Art—satire, pleasure, nostalgia, and playfulness-to nail art design. To achieve this, the study first derived the characteristics of Kitsch Art through a literature review and prior research analysis, established a generative AI-based design process by analyzing conventional design processes, and created nail art design images using generative AI (MidJourney) and image editing tools (Photoshop). The nail design development process was conducted systematically, encompassing stages such as analysis and research, problem definition and strategy development, image generation, design optimization, and confirmation and application of the designs. The results of this study are as follows: The study identified the key characteristics of kitsch and applied them to nail design, presenting new interpretations and possibilities for applying kitsch design by enhancing work efficiency and expanding the scope of creativity. By utilizing generative artificial intelligence and image editing tools, the study demonstrated time and effort savings and highlighted the practical applicability of AI technology in design practice. Popular elements were artistically reinterpreted, resulting in nail art designs from new perspectives. This demonstrated the potential of nail art to convey artistic and social messages beyond mere aesthetic expression. This study holds significance as an attempt to integrate characteristics of Kitsch Art and AI technology into nail art design, suggesting a new direction for nail art. In the future, it is necessary to comprehensively deal with various Kitsch characteristics and design techniques. The findings of this study are expected to serve as foundational data for creative and innovative approaches in nail design and the broader beauty industry.

패키지디자인의 감각적 표현특성을 적용한 젤 네일디자인 연구

Lipstick is seen as a package design that stimulates creative and aesthetic value in the collection beyond the excellence of its function. The purpose of the project is to develop aesthetic gel nail art designs that can encourage consumers to make positive purchases by analyzing lipstick packaging designs and displaying them in gel nail art. The method of study was combined with theoretical and empirical studies, and theoretical considerations analyzed lipstick packaging design with the image of color and elicited gel nail art design. The scope of the research is based on the lipstick packaging design of the Korean cosmetics brands, which consists of five synthetic nail chips in one set. Shape and design, which are the forms of gel nail designs, utilize color values (R:G:B) that are visible to the naked eye in lipstick packaging designs based on the adjectives of the color image scale. Based on , color is utilized for color values (R:G:B) that are visible to the naked eye in a lipstick packaging design. Therefore, this study is expected to derive the gel nail art design that stimulates the sensitivity and consumer sentiment of female consumers, ultimately using the proposal of creative and aesthetic gel nail art development process and as a basic material for market gel nail art design.
