        대학생의 성격강점과 진로적응성의 관계에서 강점활용과 진로정체감의 매개효과

        This research examines the relationship between character strength, strengths use, career identity and career adaptability of university students, and confirms the meditating effects of strengths use and career identity in the relationship between character strength and career adaptability. The subjects were 799 students from four-year universities. Four measurements tool were used: character strength, strengths use, career identity and career adaptability. A correlation analysis of the collected data was then conducted. A structural equation model was used to indicate the mediating effects. The significance of the mediating effect and multiple mediating effects was verified using the bootstrapping method of a phantom model approach. Results of the research are as follows. First, there was a positive relationship among self-oriented and other-oriented character strengths, strengths use, career identity, and career adaptability of university students. The higher their self-oriented and other-oriented character strengths were, the stronger the level of their strengths use, career identity, and career adaptability. Second, in respect to the relationship among self-oriented and other-oriented character strengths and career adaptability, strengths use and career identity had significant mediating effects. Third, strengths use went through the career identity and had subsequent multiple mediating effects on career adaptability in the relationships between self-oriented and other-oriented character strengths and career adaptability. Through this study, it was possible to identify significant variables in improving the career adaptability of university students and to provide necessary basic data for the development of career education programs for university students.

        유아의 자아존중감과 행복과의 관계에서 강점인식과 강점활용의 직렬다중매개효과

        The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship between children's self-esteem and happiness, strength recognition, and strength use. For this purpose, data were collected from 271 5-year-old children enrolled in kindergartens and daycare centers of G province. The collected data were analyzed for descriptive statistics, correlation, and serial multiple mediation analysis using SPSS 23.0 and PROCESS macro 4.1, model 6. The bootstrapping method was used to verify the significance of the indirect effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that children's self-esteem, strength recognition, strength use had a significant positive effect on happiness. Second, it was found that strength use completely mediated the relationship between children's strength recognition and happiness. Furthermore, it was found that strength recognition and strength use partially mediated the relationship between children's self-esteem and happiness. In other words, children's self-esteem can contribute to happiness by having a positive effect on the recognition of strengths and use of strengths. In addition, it was confirmed that strength use is an important parameter in the relationship between strength recognition and happiness. The results of this study are significant in examining the positive role of self-esteem in promoting children's happiness, and in revealing the structural relationship between strength recognition and strength use, which plays a mediating role, and the effect on happiness.

        대학생의 진로적응력과 자기수용, 강점인식, 강점활용의 구조적 관계

        This study carried out for verifying the structural relations among self-acceptance, strength knowledge, strength use, and career adaptability of university students in Korea. In order to accomplish the purpose of these studies, survey was conducted for students who were studying at four-year university via purposive sampling. A total of 309 surveys used for analysis. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation model analysis(SEM). The results of the study were as follows. First, the self-acceptance of university students had a positive direct effect on strength knowledge, strength use, and career adaptability. Second, the strength use of university students fully mediated the positive relationship between the strength knowledge and career adaptability. Third, the strength knowledge and strength use partially mediated the relationship between the self-acceptance and career adaptability. In other words, self-acceptance could effect on the career adaptability to cope with current and anticipated career related change by recognizing and utilizing one’s strengths. In addition, this study confirmed that strength use is an important mediator to positively affect career adaptability. The results of this study are meaningful in demonstrating the positive role of self-acceptance in the field of career development and revealing the structural relationship of variables influences career adaptability, especially through mediation of strength knowledge and strength use. Based on the results, this study contained the suggestions for the utilization of the important variables such as self-acceptance, strength knowledge, and strength use to develop career adaptability which is an important variable in the field of career education for the university students. 이 연구의 목적은 대학생의 진로적응력과 자기수용, 강점인식, 강점활용의 구조적 관계를 검증하는데 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 대학생을 유의표집하였으며 최종적으로 309개의 설문자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계 분석과 구조방정식 모형 분석을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 측정모형과 구조모형의 적합도를 확인하고 변인 간 관계를 분석하였다. 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 자기수용은 강점인식, 강점활용, 진로적응력에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 강점인식과 진로적응력 간 관계를 강점활용이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 자기수용과 진로적응력 간 관계를 강점인식과 강점활용이 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 자신의 있는 그대로의 모습을 받아들이는 것은 자신의 강점을 인식하고 활용하게 하여 미래에 발생할 수 있는 직업과 관련된 변화를 준비하고 대처하는 진로적응력을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 강점인식이 진로적응력에 긍정적인 영향을 미치기 위해 강점활용이 중요한 매개변수가 된다는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 대학생의 진로개발에서 자기수용이 갖는 긍정적인 역할을 실증적으로 검증하고, 특히 강점인식과 강점활용을 매개하여 진로적응력에 영향을 미치는 구조적 관계를 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 진로개발에 있어 중요한 변인이라 할 수 있는 진로적응력을 발달시키기 위해 자기수용, 강점인식, 강점활용의 개념을 진로교육에서 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

      • Development of Strengths-Use-Feedback for Project-based Learning

        This study aims to develop and verify strengths-use-feedback for enhancing on academic performance and learning satisfaction in project-based learning. The strengths-use-feedback in this study is positive feedback on the strengths of learner for performing project-based learning. Strengths-use-feedback combined academic ability necessary for project-base learning with character strength containing positive value in positive psychology. The type of strengths-use-feedback was divided into peer feedback and self feedback. The research questions in the study are as follows: 1) how different is academic performance according to type of strengths-use-feedback? 2) how different is learning satisfaction according to type of strengths-use-feedback? Ninety-five undergraduate students participated at a seven-week team project in the study. The results showed that strengths-use-feedback is effective for improving project-based learning performance and satisfaction. In addition, the results showed that the interaction effect was found depending on the presence of type of strengths use feedback.

        기업 초기경력자의 조직적응과 강점인식, 강점활용, 대인관계능력의 관계

        본 연구의 목적은 기업 초기경력자의 조직적응과 강점인식, 강점활용, 대인관계능력의 구조적 관계를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 온라인 설문조사를 통해 수집된 기업 초기경력자 251명의 강점인식, 강점활용, 대인관계능력, 조직적응의 측정자료를 분석하였다. IBM SPSS AMOS 27.0을 활용하여 분석하였으며 기술통계, 신뢰도, 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강점인식이 조직적응과 대인관계능력에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 강점인식과 대인관계능력 간 정(+)적 관계를 강점활용이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 강점인식과 조직적응 간 정(+)적 관계를 강점활용이 완전매개하였다. 넷째, 강점인식과 조직적응의 정(+)적 관계에서 강점활용과 대인관계능력이 이중매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 초기경력자의 강점인식이 강점활용과 대인관계능력을 매개하여 조직적응에 영향을 미치는 구조적 관계를 실증적으로 밝혀냈다는데 의의가 있다. 즉, 초기경력자들이 자신의 강점을 인식하는 것을 통해 조직에 적응하는 과정에서 강점활용과 대인관계능력이 중요한 매개변수가 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 기업의 초기경력자들의 조직적응을 돕기 위한 기업교육 및 경력상담 장면에서의 활용 방안을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to clarify the structural relationship between organizational adjustment, strength knowledge, strength use, and interpersonal relationship abilities of early-career employees. For this purpose, a questionnaire was collected via an online survey targeting 251 people with early careers employees in companies. We analyzed descriptive statistics, reliability, and structural equation model analysis using IBM SPSS AMOS 27.0 to reveal the hypothesis. The research results are as follows. First, we found that the direct effect of the strength knowledge on organizational adjustment and interpersonal relationship abilities were not significant. Second, strength use completely mediates the positive relationship between strength knowledge and interpersonal relationship abilities. Third, the significant connection between strength knowledge and organizational adjustment is totally mediated by strength use. Fourth, strength use and interpersonal relationship abilities had double mediation in the relationship between strength knowledge and organizational adjustment. This study is significant because it empirically revealed the structural relationship in which the strength knowledge of early-career employees mediates strength use and interpersonal relationship abilities to influence organizational adjustment. In other words, it was confirmed that the use of strengths and improvement of interpersonal skills could be an essential mediator in order for early-career workers' strength perception to affect organizational adaptation positively. The research results presented implications and future research in training new employees and career counseling to help those with early careers to adapt to the organization.

        강점기반 진로교과가 대학생의 강점인식, 강점활용, 자아존중감, 진로적응력에 미치는 효과

        목적 본 연구는 강점기반 진로교과가 대학생의 강점인식, 강점활용, 자아존중감 및 진로적응력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 충청도 소재 4년제 대학의 강점기반 진로교과를 수강한 실험집단 125명, 다른 내용으로 구성된 진로교과를 수강한 통제집단 108명을 대상으로 강점인식, 강점활용, 자아존중감 및 진로적응력 수준을 사전과 사후에 각각 측정하고 집단 간 효과차이를 분석하였다. 결과 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전검사 점수를 통제한 후, 사후검사 점수의 차이를 분석한 결과 강점기반 진로교과를 수강한 학생들의 강점인식, 강점활용, 자아존중감, 진로적응력 모두 유의미하게 증가하는 모습을 보였다. 결론 이러한 결과는 강점기반 진로교과를 통해 대학생들이 강점을 인식하고, 인식한 강점을 활용하는 것뿐 아니라, 자신에 대한 긍정적인 평가, 더 나아가 진로적응력 역시 향상될 수 있음을 시사한다. Objectives The purposes of this study were to examine the effects of strength-based career courses for College students on strength knowledge, strength use, self-esteem, and career adaptability. Methods For this study, the level of strength knowledge, strength use, self-esteem, and career adaptability were measured before and after the experimental group 125 students who took strength-based career course and the control group 108 students who took other career course consisting of different contents. And the difference in effect between groups was analyzed. Results After controlling the pre-test scores of the experimental group and the control group, as a result of analyzing the difference between the post-test scores, significant differences were found between groups in strength knowledge, strength use, self-esteem, and career adaptability. Conclusions These results suggest that it can be improved not only for college students to recognize their strengths through strength-based career courses, and to use the recognized strengths, but also to give positive evaluations of themselves and career adaptability which is a form of adaptation in a rapidly changing environment. This study is meaningful in that by developing a strength-based career course linking strengths and career paths, it provided verified data for enhancing college students strengths awareness and use of strengths, self-esteem, and career adaptability.

        성격강점 활용 진로교육과 상담: 실제와 과제

        본 연구는 긍정심리 상담의 관점에서 초등학생의 진로개발을 촉진할 수 있는 새로운 진로교육과 상담의 일 방안으로 성격강점 활용 진로지도 실제를 제시하고 이의 효과적 적용과 실천을 위한 과제를 탐구하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 교육과 진로교육의 긍극적 목표가 되는 행복의 의미를 최근 긍정심리학적 관점에서 조명하였다. 둘째, 긍정심리학의 긍정적 특성인 성격강점과 진로발달의 관계를 이론적, 실증적 관점에서 검토하면서 아동의 행복 실현을 위한 구체적 진로교육과 상담의 방안으로 성격강점의 발견, 활용의 효과 및 시사점을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 성격강점 기반 구체적 진로교육과 상담의 실제로 성격강점검사와 성격강점카드 활용 진로교육과 상담을 제시하였다. 끝으로 성격강점 활용 진로교육과 상담이 학교교육 현장에서 효과적으로 적용되고 실천되기 위한 구체적 과제로 행복증진에 초점 두는 교육, 진로발달과 관련 높은 성격강점 탐구와 적용, 직업(직업군) 관련 성격강점 탐구와 적용, 저학년용 성격강점검사의 개발과 활용, 성격강점과 흥미, 능력, 가치 검사의 통합적 적용, 기존 학교교육에 통합되는 강점 활용 진로교육 등을 논의하였다. This study presented career guidance using character strengths as a way of new career education and counseling that can promote the career development of elementary school students from the point of view of positive psychological counseling, and explored the tasks for its effective application and practice. To this end, first, the meaning of happiness, which is the ultimate goal of education and career education, has been highlighted from a recent positive psychology perspective. Second, while examining the relationship between career development and character strengths, which are positive characteristics of positive psychology, from theoretical and empirical perspectives, the effects and implications of finding and using character strengths as concrete career education and counseling methods for the realization of happiness of children were examined Third, as a way of specific career education and counseling based on character strengths, the actuality of career education and counseling using character strength test and character strength card was presented. Lastly, specific tasks for applying career education and counseling using character strengths effectively in school education were discussed. The tasks are as follows: education focused on promoting happiness, exploration and application of character strengths highly related to career development and occupations, development and application of character strength test for lower grades, integrated application of character strengths and interests, abilities and value tests, and career education utilizing strengths integrated into existing school education.

        중학생의 강점인식이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 강점활용과 진로성숙도의 매개효과

        본 연구의 목적은 중학교 학생들의 강점인식이 학교 적응에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 강점 활용과 진로 성숙도의 매개 효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 이 연구를 위해 469명의 중학교 학생들의 강점인식, 강점 활용, 진로 성숙도 및 학교 적응에 대해 수집하였고, Hayes (2013)의 PROCESS (버전 2.11) 매크로를 이용해 순차적 중다매개효과를 입증하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강점인식은 강점 활용을 통해 학교 적응에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 강점인식이 진로성숙도를 통해 학교적응에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 강점인식이 강점 활용과 진로성숙도를 순차적으로 거쳐 학교적응에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 중학생의 강점인식이 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 강점활용과 진로성숙도가중다매개로 중요한 역할을 하였음을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of strengths and career maturity in the process of middle school students" konwledge of strengths in school adaptation. For this study, 469 middle school students" strength konwledge, strength use, career maturity and school adjustment were collected and the sequential mediator effect was verified using Hayes (2013) PROCESS (version 2.11) macro. The results of this study are as follows. First, strength konwledge has influenced school adaptation through the use of strengths. Second, strength konwledge has influenced school adjustment through career maturity. Third, strength konwledge has influenced school adaptation through strengths and career maturity. Based on these results, the conclusions drawn from this study are as follows. It was found that played an important role in sequential mediating effects of strength use and career maturity on influence of middle school students" konwledge of strengths in school adaptation.

        강점인식과 대학생활적응의 관계: 강점활용과 대학생활의미의 순차적 매개효과

        This study aimed to explore the link between strengths knowledge and college life adjustment through a series of mediating effects of strengths use and meaning in college life among college students. Participants (N=200, Nfemale=120) completed self-report scales of strengths knowledge, strengths use, meaning in college life, and college life adjustment. The serial mediation analysis was carried out using Hayes' PROCESS macro (Model 6). Results showed the serial mediating role of strengths use and meaning in college life in the relationship between strengths knowledge and college life adjustment. Findings suggest that strengths use and meaning in college life should be intervention targets in strengths-based approach for college adjustment.

        강점인식이 은퇴 후 창업의도에 미치는 영향: 직장인을 대상으로

        This research is intended to identify how office worker’s recognition of strength affects the intention of starting a business when it is used as a medium for utilizing strength. The survey period was conducted for two months from January 17, 2019 to March 8, 2019. In order to achieve the object of this study, a significant number of employees have been collected nationwide, and 287 office workers were analyzed after collecting 300 questionaires, excluding 13 office workers who were not sincere. The significant data were analyzed by utilizing the structural equation and technical statistics and by verifying the conformity of structural model and measurement model and by investigating the relationship between variables. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, employee’s perception of strength has been found to have a significant effect on the utilizing of strength. Second, the use of workers’ strengths has been found to have a significant effect on the intention of starting a business. Third, it has been confirmed that in the relationship between the employee’s perception of strength and intention to start a business, the recognition of strength has a significant effect on the intention of starting a business only through the use of strength. Most office workers are nervous about the future and make various plans. The time to live after retirement is getting longer and jobs and working hours are shrinking at an alarming rate. According to the analysis on the status of small business owners in the mid-term of 2017 data, the average monthly operating profit of small business owners across the country is decreasing over the years, and most start-ups are subsistence-type start-ups, and they decide to start their own businesses because they have no other choice than start-ups. As the number of small business owners suffering from financial difficulties has increased since the financial crisis and insecurity of job is pushing those with financial difficulties after retirement to the battleground of the start-up market, the result of this research suggest that the workers need to recognize their own strength and enhance the importance of utilizing the strength. 본 연구는 직장인을 대상으로 강점인식이 강점 활용을 매개로 하였을 때 창업의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 확인하고자 하였다. 설문기간은 2019년 1월 17일부터 3월 8일 까지 2개월간 진행했으며 이런 내용의 연구 목적 달성을 위해 전국 직장인을 대상으로 유의 표집 하였으며 설문지 300 부의 설문지를 회수 후 성실하지 못한 13부를 제외한 287 명에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 유의 표집 된 자료는 구조방정식 모형 분석과 기술 통계분석을 활용 분석하는 과정을 거쳤으며 구조모형의 적합도와 측정모형의 적합 도를 확인 변수간의 관계를 분석하는 과정을 거쳤다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 정리 한다. 첫째 강점인식은 강점 활용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인 되었다. 둘째 강점 활용은 창업의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 대부분의 직장인들은 미래에 대하여 불안해하며 다양한 계획들을 세운다. 은퇴 후 살아가야 할 시간은 길어지는데 일자리와 근무 시간은 너무나 빠른 속도로 줄어들고 있고, 2017 중기 부 자료중 소상공인 실태 분석 자료에 의하면 전국 소상공인들의 월평균 영업 이익은 해가 거듭 될수록 줄어들고 있으며 창업자의 대부분은 생계형 창업으로 창업 외에 다른 선택의 여지가 없어 창업을 결심한다. 금융위기 이후 경영상 어려움을 겪는 소상공인들은 갈수록 늘어나고 직장인의 고용불안은 은퇴 후 경제적인 어려움을 겪는 이들을 창업시장의 전쟁터로 내몰고 있음에 이와 같은 연구 결과는 선제적인 본인 스스로의 강점을 인식하여 창업을 준비하는 은퇴 후의 직장인들의 창업의지에 강정인식과 강점 활용의 중요성을 증진시키는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.
