        대학생의 전공만족도와 취업스트레스간의 관계- 관광계열 및 비관광계열 전공간의 비교중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between academic major satisfaction and the perception of job-seeking stress in college students, and to investigate the complex relationship between various factors foracademic major satisfaction and those for job-seeking stress. Furthermore, the relationship between academic major satisfaction and job-seeking stress according to the types of majorsin college students. To analyze a hypothesis for this study, three parameters of gender, grade in college, and academic major for students' characteristics were investigated and the results showed that all the parameters were significantly associated with academic major satisfaction. Especially college students majoring in tourism were more course satisfaction than those majoring in other academic majors. Analysis on students' characteristics and job-seeking stress showed that only two parameters such as grade in college and the types of major were significantly associated, and students majoring in tourism cognized relatively more job insecurity than others. Of four factors of job-seeking stress and academic major satisfaction, stress in college environment and study stress were shown to be negatively correlated. Especially the stress of employment anxiety in tourism majoring students was additionally correlated with the degree of academic major satisfaction. These data suggest that a significant relationship between academic major satisfaction and job-seeking stress was observed. In the case of students majoring in tourism, satisfaction for course was relatively higher, and specialized major-related practical training and industrial-academic collaborative course may reduce job-seeking stress gradually.

        미용전공 여대생의 전공능력 성취도에 관한 연구

        This study attempted to diagnose the achievement of academic major competencies and use the results as basic data in setting up an education plan. In terms of overall achievement, ‘creativity, communication, empathy’ was the highest, followed by ‘problem-solving ability’ and ‘science-art convergence capability’. In achievement of academic major competencies by academic year, ‘2nd-4th years’ was higher than ‘1st year’. The achievement of academic major competencies was high in ‘students who started to learn Beauty early’ and ‘those with a high academic grade in the latest semester’. In terms of such achievement by the extracurricular program, ‘students participating in 1-6 program(s)’ were higher than ‘those with none or 7 or more programs’. According to correlation analysis by academic competency, ‘science-art convergence capability’ revealed a positive relation with ‘problem-solving ability’ and ‘creativity, communication, empathy’ with statistical significance. In addition, a positive correlation was found between ‘problem-solving ability’ and ‘creativity, communication, empathy’. For the balanced improvement of academic major competencies, therefore, it is required to sort and support the courses which can help students have a better understanding of science, a sub competency of ‘creativity, communication, empathy’ with the lowest achievement of academic major competency, adjust a difficulty level based on students’ opinions and develop an academic major-connected extracurricular program. In ‘problem-solving ability’, in addition, ‘decision-making’ was low while ‘business startup and management’ was low in ‘creativity, communication, empathy’. Therefore, it is needed to help students have an understanding of their job through the expansion of practical courses and field training and build the ability to solve problems.

        국내 및 일본대학 기초과정분석을 통한 새로운 기초디자인 방향제시

        Currently many design-related academic majors have emerged but it is still difficult to update a competent person in the design world only with an in-depth academic major segmentation. Therefore, this paper presents new design curriculums directions to propose an alternative for academic major segmentation. The paper views that, in addition to the academic major segmentation, a broad outlook to view the design as a whole instead of being confined within each segmented academic major is required, an access to education across the segmented academic majors is needed, and that the access of 'foundation education' and 'foundation theory education' are important across the segmented academic majors. The paper presents new directions for the foundation which can minimize the side effects of academic major segmentation through the case studies on the foundation in the domestic and overseas colleges. First, since most fine art colleges in Korea frequently make references to Seoul National University and Hongik University, the analysis focuses on these two universities and then other four domestic universities which have superior foundation are analyzed. In case of overseas universities, the paper analyzes 14 design departments in 4 universities in Japan which are similar in terms of the industrial structure and school system. The case study on design colleges in the U.S. will be skipped as sufficient studies are already made on them and related information is available. This paper will present new directions in three areas - Foundation Theory, Foundation Practical Technique, and Intersecting Academic Major Area - for basic courses to prevent the side effects of academic major segmentation based on the above preceding studies.

        기본심리욕구와 성장마인드셋이 미용전공자 학생들의 학업적 그릿에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 대학에서 미용 전공 학생들의 기본심리욕구와 성장마인드셋이 학업적 그릿에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고, 미용전공자들을 대상으로 진행하는 대학 교육 현장에서 긍정적인 학업적 목표를 달성하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 조사 기간은 2024년 4월 1일부터 4월 26일까지이며, 서울・경기 지역 대학 미용학과 전공자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 총 350부의 설문지를 배포 후 최종 320부를 분석 자료로 사용하였다. 수집된 조사 자료는 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 통해 분석되었다. 분석결과, 첫째, 조사대상의 인구통계학적 특성은, 19세~29세 여성 전문대학 재・졸 헤어전공자가 대다수인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학업적 그릿의 ‘열정/흥미유지그릿’, ‘끈기그릿’요인은 기본심리욕구의 ‘관계성욕구’, ‘자율/유능감욕구’요인에 의해 설명되며, 학업적그릿에 대한 성향이 높을수록 기본심리욕구가 증가하는 정의 관계로 나타났다. 셋째, 학업적 그릿의 ‘열정/흥미유지그릿’ 요인이 높을수록 성장마인드셋의 ‘성장적실패마인드셋’요인과 ‘성장형마인드셋’ 요인이 높아졌으며, 반대로 성장마인드셋의 ‘고착형마인드셋’요인이 높을수록 ‘열정/흥미유지그릿’ 요인이 감소하는 부의 관계로 나타났고, ‘끈기그릿’요인은 ‘성장적실패마인드셋’ 요인이 높을 때만 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결론은 대학에서 미용전공 학생들의 학업적 그릿에 기본심리욕구와 성장마인드셋이 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있다. 이는 미용전공 학생들의 학업성취도 향상을 위한 방안을 모색하는데 유용한 자료가 될 수 있으며, 목표의식의 중요성을 인식하고 이를 달성하기 위해 노력하는 끈기의 중요성을 강조한다. 기본심리욕구와 성장마인드셋을 촉진하는 교육적 환경은 학생들의 내적동기를 강화시키고, 지속적이 학습 참여와 성취에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 아울러, 미용 전공이 실습 중심교육, 창의성과 기술력 발달이라는 특수성에 맞추어 학습 전략 개발에도 기여할 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 미용전공자 학생들이 높은 학업적 그릿을 갖추어 열망하는 목표를 성취하고, 나아가 미용 전문직업인으로 활동할 수 있는 학문적, 실용적 중요성에 대한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of basic psychological needs and growth mindset on the academic grit of beauty major students at universities and to provide foundational data for achieving positive academic goals in the university education environment for beauty majors. The survey period was from April 1, 2024, to April 26, 2024, and a survey was conducted on beauty major students at universities in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. After distributing a total of 350 questionnaires, 27 were excluded due to insincere responses, and the final 320 were used for analysis. The collected survey data were analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 program. As a result of the analysis, First, the demographic characteristics of the survey subjects showed that the majority were female college students or graduates majoring in hair, aged 19 to 29. Second, the two factors of academic grit, ‘Passion/Interest Maintenance Grit’ and ‘Perseverance Grit’, are explained by the two factors of basic psychological needs, ‘Relationship Need’ and ‘Autonomy/Competence Need’. A positive relationship was found where higher levels of academic grit were associated with higher levels of basic psychological needs. These results indicate that basic psychological needs positively affect the academic grit of beauty major students. Third, the ‘Passion/Interest Maintenance Grit’ factor of academic grit was positively associated with the ‘Growth Failure Mindset’ and ‘Growth Mindset’ factors of growth mindset, while the ‘Fixed Mindset’ factor of growth mindset was negatively associated with the ‘Passion/Interest Maintenance Grit’ factor. The ‘Perseverance Grit’ factor was found to increase only when the ‘Growth Failure Mindset’ factor was high. The conclusion of this study is that basic psychological needs and a growth mindset positively impact the academic grit of beauty major students in college. This conclusion can serve as useful data for exploring ways to improve the academic achievement of beauty major students and emphasize the importance of recognizing the significance of goal-setting and the perseverance needed to achieve these goals. An educational environment that promotes basic psychological needs and a growth mindset can strengthen students’ intrinsic motivation and support continued learning participation and achievement. Additionally, beauty majors, with their focus on practice-oriented education and the development of creativity and technical skills, can benefit from learning strategies tailored to these unique characteristics. Therefore, this study is believed to provide foundational data on the academic and practical significance of helping beauty major students achieve their aspirations with high academic grit and work as beauty professionals.

        미용전공대학생의 미용봉사활동 참여 동기에 따른 자아존중감이 전공만족 및 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

        This study conducted a questionnaire survey to determine the effects of college level cosmetology majors’ participation in beauty care volunteer activities and self-esteem regarding satisfaction with their academic major and educational achievements. For data analysis, a total of 350 questionnaires were distributed. Twenty-six poorly answered ones samples were thrown out and 324 copies were chosen for analysis. Cross-tabulation analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis were conducted, using SPSS 11.0. The results found the following: First, according to analysis of differences among satisfaction with academic major (cosmetology) by motivation in participating in beauty care volunteer activities, and satisfaction with activities and educational achievements, a significant difference was found in satisfaction with academic major (F=5.167, p<.01). Second, according to analysis on the effects of self-esteem on satisfaction with academic major and beauty care volunteer activities and educational achievement, a significant effect was observed in satisfaction with academic major and beauty care volunteer activities. In satisfaction with beauty care volunteer activities, statistical significance was found in satisfaction with academic major (cosmetology) (β value=.240, t-value=4.436, p<.001) while academic major satisfaction and beauty care volunteer activities had a significant effect on academic achievements. Therefore, if beauty care volunteer activity programs are linked with cosmetology in a way to increase college-level cosmetology majors’ perception of educational achievements, better results are expected in academic major satisfaction and educational achievements.

        대학생의 전공에 대한 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 대학생의 전공에 대한 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응, 전공만족도 간의 관계와 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상은 서울 및 경기도에 소재한 대학교의 재학생 1, 2, 3, 4학년으로 총 423명이었으며, 전공에 대한 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응, 전공만족도에 관한 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 측정하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차, 독립 t-분석, 분산분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 대학생의 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응, 전공만족도의 수준은 보통 수준 이상인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대학생의 학업적 흥미, 대학생활 적응, 전공만족도는 서로 밀접한 관계가 있으며 전공에 대한 학업적 흥미와 대학생활 적응은 전공만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생의 전공만족도 향상을 위해 대학생의 학업적 흥미 조성을 위한 아동 · 청소년기의 체계적인 진로지도 프로그램, 적성개발프로그램, 교수자의 교수 · 학습법 개발, 즐거운 학업풍토조성 등의 통합적 지지체계의 구축이 요구된다. 뿐만 아니라 대학생들의 대학적응 지원 확대를 위하여 학생개별프로그램, 학교 제반시설의 확충, 멘토-멘티 프로그램 및 비교과 프로그램의 활성화 등 학교 및 학과의 상황을 고려한 제도적 · 실천적 개입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of academic interest and college life adjustment on major satisfaction of college students The subjects for this study were 423 university students. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 program. The results of the study are as follows. First, college students` academic interests, college life adjustment, and majors` satisfaction levels were above normal levels. Second, among the sub-variables of academic interest, college life adjustment, and major satisfaction of college students, all other variables except adaptation of college students` personal emotions were found to have a static correlation. Third, the academic interests of college students were found to have a significant impact on major satisfaction. Fourth, college life adaptation has a significant influence on major satisfaction. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the effects of academic interest and adaptation of college life on major satisfaction, academic interest and university life adaptation showed significant influence on major satisfaction. Based on these results, the conclusions are as follows. First, It is required to build a system of integrated guidance such as a systematic career guidance program for children and adolescents, an aptitude development program, the development of teaching and learning methods for teachers, and a pleasant academic climate for academic interests of university students. Second, Institutional and practical intervention should be considered in order to expand college adaptation support for college students, such as individual student programs, expansion of school facilities, mentor - mentee programs, and activation of comparative programs.

        <전공 글쓰기>의 효율적 운용을 위한 전공별 수업모형 연구 - 계명대학교 ‘스포츠마케팅학과’ 사례를 중심으로

        <Writing in major> is originated from courses in the United States and the United Kingdom. The purpose of <Writing in major> for college freshmen in liberal arts courses is so vague and extensive that it has some limitations in learning discourse developmental methods of major courses. There are four specific reasons to learn <Writing in major>. First, it contributes to the growth in knowledge of a major. Second, it develops academic writing skills by learning characteristics of discourse in major courses. Third, it can help find positions related to students’ majors directly because they have stable identities through those abilities motioned above. Finally, it generates self-expression abilities, creative problem solving abilities, and convergence and integration thinking capabilities that are needed as a specialist at the present day. <Writing in major> was established in four departments of Keimyung University in fall semester, 2013 and twenty eight departments in fall semester, 2014. The purpose of this paper is to research suitable models of instruction and teaching methods examining the cases of <Writing in major> of Sports Marketing students in Keimyung University. The reason that Sports Marketing needs the course <Writing in major> is that students have to have the abilities to write project proposals utilizing jargons in the field of sports marketing. <Writing in major> in Sports Marketing whose purpose is writing project proposals consists of 16 weeks. First process called preliminary stage was composed of overcoming psychological anxiety through handwriting. Writing a short paragraph as a previous step of writing project proposals and learning principles of them were followed. As a final step, students wrote the project proposals. Through <Writing in major>, students in Sports Marketing became well-acquainted with knowledge of their own major and practical skills. This case will henceforward to be a part of developing decent models of instruction and teaching methods in <Writing in major>. 본래 미국과 영국의 영향에서 출발한 <전공 글쓰기>는 신입생을 대상으로 하는 교양과정 글쓰기의 강의목표가 지나치게 광범위하고 막연하여 전공과목에서 요구하는 고유한 전공 관련 담론 방식을 익히는 데는 한계가 있다는 반성에서 출발하였다. <전공 글쓰기>의 필요성을 구체적으로 살펴보면 먼저, 글쓰기를 통해 전공 지식을 심화시키는 데 기여한다는 데서 생겨난다. 둘째, 전공 분야 담화의 특성을 익힘으로써 학술적 글쓰기를 할 수 있다는 것이다. 셋째, 이러한 능력은 전공인으로서 분명한 정체성을 확립하는 데 도움을 주어 졸업 후 전공과 관련한 취업을 하는 데 긍정적인 영향을 끼친다는 데서도 생겨난다. 넷째, 의사소통 능력을 필요로 하는 오늘날 <전공 글쓰기>를 통해 전공학습자는 전공인으로서 자기표현 능력 및 창의적 문제해결 능력, 그리고 융복합적 사고 능력을 배양할 수 있다는 것이다. <전공 글쓰기>가 지닌 이러한 장점을 활용하기 위해 계명대학교는 2013년 2학기부터 4개의 학과에서 <전공 글쓰기>를 개설하였으며, 2014년 2학기에는 28개의 학과에서 <전공 글쓰기>를 개설하였다. 이 글에서는 기획서 쓰기를 중심으로 하는 <스포츠마케팅>학과의 전공 글쓰기 사례를 살펴보면서 각 학과에 적절한 <전공 글쓰기> 수업모형 및 교수법을 모색하고자 한다. 스포츠마케팅학과에서 <전공 글쓰기>가 필요한 이유는 스포츠마케팅학과의 전문 용어를 숙지한 후 이 용어를 활용하여 학과의 특성을 반영한 전문적인 기획서를 작성할 수 있는 역량을 기르기 위한 것이다. 학과의 특성상 경쟁력 있는 기획서를 쓰는 것을 주된 목적으로 하는 스포츠마케팅학과의 <전공 글쓰기>는 총 16주로 구성되어 있다. 이 과정은 먼저, 본격적인 글쓰기를 시작하기 전의 예비단계로서 손글씨를 통한 심리적 불안감 극복하기, 두 번째, 기획서 만들기의 전단계로서 짧은 글 만들기, 세 번째, 기획서 작성 이론 강의, 네 번째, 기획서 작성 실습의 과정으로 진행되었다. 이처럼 기획서를 작성하는 것을 주목적으로 한 <전공 글쓰기>를 통해 스포츠마케팅학과의 학생들은 스포츠마케팅이라는 전공의 특성을 더욱 뚜렷이 숙지하게 되었으며, 기획서와 제안서 작성에 필요한 지식과 기술을 동시에 습득하는데 매우 큰 도움이 된 것으로 나타난다. 스포츠마케팅학과의 이 사례는 향후 각 학과의 고유의 특성에 맞는 <전공 글쓰기> 강의모형과 교수법을 개발하는 데 많은 시사점을 던져준다는 점에서 상세히 살펴볼 필요가 있다.

        항공서비스전공 대학생의 학업적 자기효능감이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향: 그릿의 매개효과

        There is a need to enhance satisfaction with their major to ensure the academic success of the college students of the Airline Service Department, as they face the biggest challenge and a realistic obstacle, job-seeking. The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between academic self-efficacy and grit as the factors that influence satisfaction with major among the college students of the Airline Service Department. For this, the researcher surveyed the students who majored in Airline Service, and a total of 173 questionnaires were used in the analysis for this study. The findings of this study were as follows; First, the academic self-efficacy of the college students of the Airline Service Department had a significant and positive impact on grit. Second, the grit of the college students of the Airline Service Department had a significant and positive impact on their satisfaction with their major. Third, the academic self-efficacy of the college students of the Airline Service Department had a significant and positive impact on their satisfaction with their major. Fourth, grit had a significant mediating effect on the relationship between the academic self-efficacy of the college students of the Airline Service Department and their satisfaction with their major. The implication of this study is that the class environment of the college students of the Airline Service Department can be enhanced while teaching methods can be reviewed to provide classes that are in line with the levels of these students to enhance their satisfaction with their major.

        주관적 흥미-학과 일치도, 학업적자기효능감과 학과적응도 간의 관계

        This study explored the relationships among perceived interest-major congruence and academic self-efficacy on the college students' adjustment to academic majors, as well as their relative strengths. The researchers surveyed 379 university students on the questionnaires of perceived fit, academic self-efficacy and adjustment to academic majors. Results indicated that perceived fit and academic self-efficacy predicted the degree of students' adjustment to academic majors. In addition, perceived fit was a stronger predictor than academic self-efficacy. The findings implied that the higher perceived fit and academic self-efficacy are, the higher major adjustment is. It is suggested that counselors may intervene college students' adjustment to academic majors by enhancing perceived fit and academic self-efficacy. In particular, it is important for the counselors to guide students to correct the perceptual error in the interest-major congruence. 본 연구에서는 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도와 학업적 자기효능감이 대학생의 학과적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 또한 이들 변인이 학과적응에 미치는 상대적인 영향력은 어떠한지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 2, 3, 4학년들을 대상으로 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도와 학업적 자기효능감 및 학과적응도를 측정하였고, 수집된 자료 중 총 379명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도는 학과적응에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학과적응의 하위변인인 학과만족과 진로목표의 안정성에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 학업적 자기효능감도 학과적응과 하위변인 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학과적응에 대한 두 변인의 상대적 영향력은 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도가 학업적 자기효능감보다 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도가 높고 학업에 대한 자기효능감이 높을수록 학과에 대한 적응도도 높아지며, 특히 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도가 학과적응에 더 큰 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 즉 학생들이 자신의 학과나 전공이 흥미에 부합된다고 지각할수록 학과선택에 만족하며 학업수행의 성취도도 높으며 또한 자신의 전공과 관련된 진로목표를 설정하고 진로결정에 대한 확신도 높다는 것을 시사한다. 따라서 대학생들의 학과적응도를 높이기 위해서는 주관적 흥미-학과 일치도와 학업적 자기효능감에 대한 개입이 필요하며, 특히 흥미-학과 일치도에 대한 지각을 확인하고 인식에 있어서의 오류를 수정하거나 재평가하는 개입 방안을 모색하는 것이 필요하다고 볼 수 있겠다.

        대학생의 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도, 대학생활적응의 구조적 관계 연구

        Objectives The purposes of this study were to specify the relationship among academic self-efficacy, career decision self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adjustment, and to analyze the structural relationships among them. Methods We collected data from 235 students and the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Results First, academic self-efficacy, career decision self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adjustment were statistically significantly related to one another. Second, based on the correlation analysis results, the results of verifying the structural model between the four variables, it was confirmed that the model is statistically good. Third, an analysis of the direct and indirect effects of academic self-efficacy, career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major affecting college life adjustment showed that academic self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on college life adjustment, and it has more positive effect on college life adjustment in condition of mediating career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major. Conclusions This study concluded that career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major are a mediator between academic self-efficacy and college life adjustment, and it showed that confidence for career decision and satisfaction in major as well as academic self-efficacy are important roles to support successful adjustment on college life. The educational implications such as motivational and cognitive intervention were suggested.
