        아세클로페낙 연질캡슬(클란자 에스 연질캡슬)의 개발

        To develop and aceclofenac soft capsule, four preparations with various solubilizers were prepared and their dissolution test was carried out. Among four preparations tested, a preparation with ethanolamine was selected a formula of aceclofenac soft capsule (Clanza S^(™), since it showed the fastest dissolution rate. Bioequivalence of aceclofenac tablet, Airtal^(™)(Dae-Woong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and aceclofenac soft capsule, Clanza S^(™)(Korea United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) was evaluated according to the guideline of KFDA. Fourteen normal male volunteers (age 20-25 years old) were divided into two groups and a randomized 2×2 cross-over study was employed. After oral administration of one tablet or capsule containing 100 ㎎ of aceclofenac, blood ws taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentration of aceclofenac in plasma wa determined with an HPLC method under UV detector. The pharmacokinetic parameters (C_(max), T_(max) and AUC_(t)) were calculated and ANOVA was utilized for the statistical analysis of parameters using logarithmically transformed AUC_(t), C_(max) and T_(max) between Airtal tablet and Clanza soft capsule were 2.89%, 0.18% and 43.0%, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(1.250(e.g.log(0.81) - log(1.23) and log(0.89) - log(1.14)) for AUC_(t) and C_(max), respectively. Thus, the criteria of the KDFA guidelines for the equivalence was satisfied, indicating that Clanza S^(™) soft capsule is bioequivalent to Airtal^(™) tablet.

        Study on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of the Al–25Cr–5Si (at%) Alloy Powder Using Gas-Atomization and SPS Process

        In order to investigate the microstructure and mechanical properties on Al–25Cr–5Si (at%) alloy, a mixed powder with pureelements and an alloy powder using a gas atomization process were used. Fine and high purity Al–25Cr–5Si (at%) alloypowder was successfully prepared by gas atomization and densified using a spark plasma sintering (SPS) process. The overallpowder size distribution of the mixed Al, Cr, and Si elemental powders was in the range of 10–15 μm. The atomized Al–Cr–Sialloy powder was fine and spherical in morphology and difficult to be formed by intermetallic formation. Densification wasclearly confirmed at 1000 °C, with almost isolated pores formed, by clear removal of pores between particles, deformationof particles, an increase in the number of contacts, and a change in size between particles. As a result of XRD analysis ofthe sintered compacts, single phase was observed using the mixed powder, but the compact using gas atomization remainedthe alloy phase even at the process temperature. The Vickers hardness of the compacts by mixed powder was observed at59.70 Hv and the compact using gas atomized powders on the temperature 1000 °C of the Vickers hardness increased to702.6 Hv. The compressive yield strength of the compact with mixed powder was 195.24 MPa and the compressive strengthof the compact with gas atomized powder increased to 802.07 MPa. It is considered not to be decomposed by the AlCrSi,Al13Cr4Si4and Al8Cr5phases sintering process, resulting from the improvement of mechanical properties.

        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

      • 항갑상선제로 치료한 그레이브스병 환자의 관해예측인자

        Background: Most cases of Graves' disease have been treated by antithyroid drugs in Korea. The major drawbacks of antithyroid drugs are the relative high rate of relapse and the inconvinience of long term therapy. Measurement of TBII and TRH stimulation test have been considered as the most reliable tests predicting relapse, but the predictive power is not high enough to use in clinical situation. This study was performed to find good prognostic indicators in Graves' disease patients after the discontinuation of antithyroid drug therapy. Subjects and methods : We restrospectively evaluated 96 patients with Graves' disease who showed normal TRH test at the end of antithyroid drug therapy and were followed for more than one year. Serum T3, T4, T3/T4 ratio, TBII, Anti-TPO Ab and TGAb levels were measured at the time of diagnosis and at the end of therapy. Two to three months after withdrawal of antithyroid medication, serum TSH and free T3 responses to TRH were examined. These parameters were compared between the relapse group and the remission group. Results : Among the 96 patients, 22 patients(22.9%) relapsed(Group Ⅱ) and 74 patients(77.1%) remained in remmision(Group Ⅰ). No significant difference was observed between the relapse and the remission group in clinical parameters, serum T3, T4, TSH, T3/T4 ratio, TBⅡ and Anti-TPO Ab determined before and after treatment. Serum TSH and free T3 levels measured after TRH stimulation were also similar in both groups. Serum TGAb levels determined at the end of treatment were significantly higher in the remission group(p<0.05). Relapse following the discontinuation of therapy occured within 24 months in 72.7% of the relapsed cases. After 24 months, relapse rate was reduced significantly. Conclusion : These results suggest that high serum TGAb levels could be a favorable prognostic indicator for the long term remission of Graves' disease treated with antithyroid drugs, and may suggest that Hashimoto's thyroiditis is combined with Graves' disease in those patients.

      • 동측 대퇴골 및 경골 간부 골절의 치료

        Multiple fractures are becoming increasing due to traffic and industrial developments. Ipsilateral femur and tibia fractures are caused by high energy trauma and associated with many problems such as hemorrhagic shock, longer morbidity, delayed union of nonunion, knee stiffness etc. Recently the principles of treatment are directed to rigid internal fixation and early mobilization for more satisfactory functional recovery. Since July 1990, we managed 6 patients who had ipsilateral femur and tibia shaft fractures mainly with intramedullary nailing. The results are as follows ; 1. All the 6 cases were accompanied by multiple fractures and/or dislocations. Ipsilateral knee injuries were combined in 2 cases. 2. As for the femur, intramedullary nails were used in all cases. Intramedullary nailing was used for the tibia in 5 cases, and external skeletal fixator in the other one. 3. All the fractures united. Union time of the femoral fractures ranged from 6 to 8 months(mean : 29 weeks ; 6.7 months). Tibia shaft fractures united at from 14 to 32 weeks(mean : 22 weeks ; 5.2 months) postoperatively. 4. 3 Knees recovered full range of motion. But in the other 3 knees, limitations of further flexion to average 100 degrees were noted.

      • 누설전류 파형 측정에 의한 실리콘 고무의 표면 열화 평가

        In this study, we investigated the erosion resistance of the silicone rubber by measuring leakage current with Inclined-Plane Method. From the results of our study, it was observed that the typical leakage current waveform was the mixed figure of sinusoidal wave and rectifying wave. And, it is considered that the former is due to conductivity of the contaminant when the surface is wet, and the latter is due to the arc discharge of dry band. And, as the surface erosion is being accelerated, the proportion of the rectifying wave is increasing. And, the ratio of discharge duration to discharge-extinguish time changes and can be divided into three regions, which is similar to the changes of erosion depth and width. Therefore, it can be known that the erosion process has some correlation with the change of leakage current.

        경기 일부지역 육용 양돈작업장의 분진 및 내독소 농도

        The aim of this study was to evaluate exposure to dust and endotoxin produced while working at swine confinement buildings. The dusts and endotoxin may cause adverse health effects on humans. Fourteen swine farms located at Yong-In, I-Cheon and Yeo-Ju of onggi-do were investigated. Husbandry workers form the farms were requested to wear personal sampler to measure respirable dust levels. Area samplings for total and respirable dust were also conducted at swine confinements buildings by season (summer under window open, winter under window close.) Gravimetric analyses and Limulus Amebocyte Lysate assay for measu- rement of dust level and endotoxin, respectively. The highest geometric mean (GM) concentration of airbome dusts was 7.47mg/㎡ for area respirable dust. and 10.35mg/㎡ for personal respirable dust. For respirable dust levels, seven farmers exceeded level of ACGIH, 3mg/㎥. The highest GM of endo- toxin was 5745.40 EU/㎥ for personal respirable dust. Significantly increased level of total dust (p〈0.001) and endotoxin in area total dust was observe with winter samples compared with those of summer. Area total dust and area respirable dust (r-0.622, p〈0.0001) was very significantly correlated in winter. Swine husbandry worker may have a considerable risk of ill health whenexposed to level of dust or endotoxin demonstrated at this study.

        레이저와 불소가 인공우식병소의 항균성 및 내산성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the acid resistance and antimicrobial effect of fluoride-laser combined application. Recently extracted third molars were used. 5×3mm of the buccal and lingual specimens were exposed and incipient artifical carious lesions were formed by keeping them in the artificial cariogenic solution for 5 days. They were divided into five groups and treated with fluoride and laser according to the pre-determined regimen. The acid resistance was compared between groups by chemical quantitative analysis of the calcium and phosphorous released into the test solution after single or combined application of fluoride and laser. The antimicrobial effect of each group was analyzed by counting the number of colony forming units after microbial incubation. The results from the present study can be summarized as follow; 1. Experimental groups showed lower values in calcium and phosphorous contents as well as in CFC/㎖(colony forming units) than control group. Combined application groups showed lower values than single application groups. 2. Acid resistance and antimicrobial effect by fluoride and laser treatment were confirmed in this study. 3. Based upon the above-mentioned results of this study, it can be assumed that the use of laser-fluoride combined application may provide the child and adolescent patient population with antimicrobial effect as well as acid resistance. Further studies using various materials and experimental conditions are being encouraged.

      • 부산ㆍ경남지역의 산성비에 관한 연구

        In order to identify the cause and the situation of acid rain in Pusan and Kyeongnam area, the pH, the concentration of SO₄??, NO₃?? and CI?? in the precipitation samples at 12 selcted sites were measured and analyzed. The relation of the pH of the acid rain with anions and weather patterns when acid rain occurred were also analyzed. The major results are as follows. (1) The range of pH of the acid rain in these areas was from 3.46 to 8.20 and the average was 5.34. The percentages of occurrence of acid rain were 78.4% in Pusan and 80% in Kimhae area. The relations between the pH and the individual anions were weakly and negatively correlated although the relation between the pH and CI?? was positively correlated. (2) Weather patterns when the acid rain occur could be classified into seven types, among which the most frequent occurrences of the acid rain with the least pH were found with L2 type. We could infer that the pollutants are originated from China, since the prevailing winds of the lower and upper levels on the day of occurrence of the acid rain with the least pH were northwesterlies and southwesterlies.
