Analysis of Temporal Change in Soil Erosion Potential at Haean-myeon Watershed Due to Climate Change

Climate change has been social and environmental issues, it typically indicates the trend changes of not only temperature but also rainfall. There is a need to consider climate changes in a long-term soil erosion estimation since soil loss in a watershed can be varied by the changes of rainfall intensity and frequency of torrential rainfall. The impacts of rainfall trend changes on soil loss, one of climate changes, were estimated using Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control (SATEEC) employing L module with current climate scenario and future climate scenario collected from the Korea Meteorological Administration. A 62 km² watershed was selected to explore the climate changes on soil loss. SATEEC provided an increasing trend of soil loss with the climate change scenarios, which were 182 ton/ha/year in 2010s, 169 ton/ha/year in 2020s, 192 ton/ha/year in 2030s,182 ton/ha/year in 2040s, and 218 ton/ha/year in 2050s. Moreover, it was found that approximately 90% of agricultural area in the watershed displayed the soil loss of 50 ton/ha/year which is exceeding the allow able soil loss regulation by the Ministry of Environment.

In the platform of the urban transit system, a certain gap is inevitably made between the subway vehicle and the platform, and the gap gets wider in the curved area of the platform. This gap contributes to decrease passengers' safety. In this paper, we presents development process for safety step, trends of safety step, development plan, technical description and etc. In this study, we has considered safe operation of the subway vehicle when safety step are operated closely related to the doors, and explored the possibilities to put it into practical use.

본 고는 전세계 대학생들의 겨울 스포츠제전인 '97 무주 · 전주 동계유니버시아드대회에 전자, 전산분야 자원봉사자로서 참가(과학생 20명포함)하여 기록한 시스템 구축사례이다. (주)쌍용정보통신 전문가께서 개발한 스포츠통합시스템(SI) 프로젝트의 경우는 경기마다 전체적인 재개발을 하지 않고 필요한 것을 적용시키고, 개최 종목의 특성에따라 부분 수정하여 사용하면 훌륭한 국제적 스포츠시스템패키지로서 정착되면서, 우리도 스포츠 분야의 통합시스템 패키지 수출국가가 될 수 있다.
Flagellin-Stimulated Production of Interferon-β Promotes Anti-Flagellin IgG2c and IgA Responses

Flagellin, a major structural protein of the flagellum found in all motile bacteria, activates the TLR5- or NLRC4 inflammasome-dependent signaling pathway to induce innate immune responses. Flagellin can also serve as a specific antigen for the adaptive immune system and stimulate anti-flagellin antibody responses. Failure to recognize commensal-derived flagellin in TLR5-deficient mice leads to the reduction in anti-flagellin IgA antibodies at steady state and causes microbial dysbiosis and mucosal barrier breach by flagellated bacteria to promote chronic intestinal inflammation. Despite the important role of anti-flagellin antibodies in maintaining the intestinal homeostasis, regulatory mechanisms underlying the flagellin-specific antibody responses are not well understood. In this study, we show that flagellin induces interferon-β (IFN-β) production and subsequently activates type I IFN receptor signaling in a TLR5- and MyD88-dependent manner in vitro and in vivo. Internalization of TLR5 from the plasma membrane to the acidic environment of endolysosomes was required for the production of IFN-β, but not for other pro-inflammatory cytokines. In addition, we found that anti-flagellin IgG2c and IgA responses were severely impaired in interferon-alpha receptor 1 (IFNAR1)-deficient mice, suggesting that IFN-β produced by the flagellin stimulation regulates anti-flagellin antibody class switching. Our findings shed a new light on the regulation of flagellin-mediated immune activation and may help find new strategies to promote the intestinal health and develop mucosal vaccines.

공간정보 산업의 고도화와 활용분야의 확대에 따라 측량 및 지형공간정보 관련 기술자의 수요도 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 산업계로 유입되는 신규 기술자 또는 기 근무하고 있는 종사자의 기술을 증명할 수 있는 국가자격증의 중요성은 날로 증가되고 있다. 이러한 추세를 반영하여 측량 및 지형공간정보 분야의 국가 자격증 취득과정에서 실시하고 있는 실기 시험을 산업체 현장의 특성을 충분히 반영하고 기술 능력을 확인할 수 있는 방법으로 개선할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 측량 및 지형공간정보 국가 자격증의 실기 검증 시험 개선 방안을 도출하고자 하였다.
