In this paper, an algorithm for fault location in Auto Transformer (AT) Feeding Railway system is presented. If a fault occurs at the AT feeding circuits of electrical railway system, it is very important to find fault location and to remove it immediately for the purpose of ensuring safety for transportation. Because the characteristics of reactance - distance are not linear, only using one terminal signals to give fault distance is difficult. In this paper, first, using the KVL, 4 voltage equation are obtained. Secondly, eliminatillg voltage a distance equation which consists of currents at rail and line parameters including mutual effects.
회분식 활성슬러지 반응기에 의한 염분폐수의 생분해성 평가

생물학적 처리가 가능한 염분 농도의 범위를 알아보기 위하여 회분식 활성슬러지 반응기에 합성폐수를 주입하여 실험을 수행하였다. 연구결과 폐수중의 염분 농도가 20,000mg/L 이상이 되면 폐수처리 효율이 떨어지는 것을 알 수 있었다. 염분 농도가 10,000mg/L 이하 일때는 회분식 활성슬러지 반응기에 의한 TOC 제거효율이 85% 이상인 반면, 염분 농도가 20,000mg/L 이상일 때는 TOC 제거효율이 80% 이하를 나타내었다. 또한 생물반응조내의 MLSS 농도에 따라 질산화 정도가 다름을 알 수 있었다. To determine the salt concentration range which wastewaters be treated by biological processes, experiments were performed by feeding activated sludge batch reactor with synthetic organic wastewater. Results of the research showed that wastewater treatment efficiencies deteriorated as salt concentration of wastewaters became above 20,000mg/L. The TOC removal efficiencies of activated sludge batch reactor were above 85% when the salt concentration were below 10,000mg/L. On the other hand, when the salt concentration were above 20,000mg/L, the TOC removal efficiencies were below 80%. It was also found that nitrification was affected by the MLSS concentration in the reactors.

Purpose: IS prelminary study was designed to assess the clinical variables influencing on the ward atmosphere in psychiatric closed ward and to promote the quality of psychiatric inpatient treatment. Method: 41 psychiatric inpatients were selected in Chung-ju hospital, Konkuk university. Ward Atmosphere Scale(W AS) was used to evaluate patients' perception of ward milieu. WAS score were compared among subgroups with respect to the clinical variables such as duration of admission, frequency of admission, and diagnosis. Results: Significantly, patients who have hospitalized for 1 month to 2 months reported lower score of WAS and patients who have hospitalized for longer than 2 months reported higher score of WAS. The relationship between educated levels and WAS score was not significant. First admitted patients reported significantly lower score of WAS. Bipolar patients reported significantly higher score of WAS and alcohol related patients reported significantly lower score of WAS. Conclusion: The 1st admitted patients, patients with alcohol problem and educated patients were had less satisfied with psychiatric closed ward. Thus, by considering these factors, more specified therapeutic approach and plan should be conducted.
폴리(아미드-이미드-이미드)의 합성 및 그 특성에 관한 연구

Polyimides which is among the class of heterocyclic polymers, have remarkable high temperature resistance, tensile strength, toughness, etc. However, fabrication and processing of imide polymers have been limited because fully cured imide polymers are generally infusible and insoluble in most solvents. A number of methods have been used to overcome intractability while maintaining reasonably high temperature characteristics. To attain these thermoplasticity, polyimides have been modified either through the addition of a side chain or through introduction of flexible, non-symmertrical and thermally stable linkages to the backbone. Among these modifications, the combination of amide and imide groups which resulted in poly(amide-imide)s [PAI] imparts flexibility, elongation and toughness. So, a new structure of an anhydride-acid chloride was designed for novel poly (amide-imide-imide)s. Successfully, we prepared a novel anhydride-acid chlorie containing imide group as a monomer form L-glutamic acid and trimellitic acid anhydride [TMA]. The resulting poly(amide-imide-imide)s were synthesized by polycondensation of new monomer and the various diamines. It is shown that the synthesized poly(amide-imide-imide)s overcome problems accociated with polymide as well as provide higher thermal stabilities due to high content of imide group in the polymers The chemistry and properties of the resulting polymers will be discussed.

We have investigated the properties of an elemental image of singlet elemental lens for film and direct pick-up method, respectively. The optimized conditions, which are minimizing the distortions of the elemental image, of the elemental lens have been analyzed with the geometrical method and the comparison of the picked up images. As a result, it is down that the elemental image quality is strongly depend on not only the lens shape but also the pick-up method.

In order to elucidate toxic mechanism of myocardial damage and protective effect of herbal extract, Dansamyeum (丹參飮) against cytotoxic effect of xanthine oxidase/hypoxanthine(XO/HX) and cardioprotective effect of Dansamyeum (丹參飮) were examined by MTT assay and heart beating rate after cultured myocardial cells derived from neonatal mouse were treated with various concentrations of XO/HX, a free radical. The results of these experiments were fellows : XO/HX, a oxygen radical, decreased the survial rate on MTT assay in cultured myocardial cells. Dansmyeum(丹參欲) water extract have efficacy of increasing heart beating rate decreased by XO/HX in cultured myocardial cells. Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Lignum Santali Album water extract have efficacy of increasing heart beating rate decreased by XO/HX in cultured myocardial cells. From above the results, it is suggested that XO/HX showed toxic effect in cultured myocardial cell derived from neonatal mouse and herbal extract such as Dansamyeum(丹參飮) is very effective in the prevetion of XO/HX cardiotoxicity. Osteosarcoma is a primary malignant tumor arising most often in the long bone, but rare in jaw bone. Especially osteogenic sarcoma of the mandible is a rare tumor, comprising less than 0.5% of all head and neck tumors. Osteosarcoma occurs cheifly in young persons, and presenting very survival rates. Histopathologically this tumor can be classified three types, osteoblastic, fibroblastic, chondroblastic and classified from low grade to high grade by anaplasia or mitosis of the tumor cells. Sometimes, the exact diagnosis of osteosarcoma is difficult especially in low grade osteosarcoma, even if clinical or radiographical findings suggest to osteosarcoma. So suspcious to malignant bone tumor in clinical or radiological findings, biopsy should be taked from deep portion and multiple area, and sharing the patient history and radiographs with pathologist will assist in the development of the diagnosis. We report a case of low grade osteosarcoma on the mandible initially difficulty in accurate diagnosis. The patient visited our hospital for routine dental treatment but radiographic findings displayed ill-defined radiolucency with osteoid formation on the mandible. Final diagnosis was difficulty in initial biopsy but subsequent biopsy taked from deep portion presented infiltrative growth and mitosis of the tumor cell in some area with small osteoid bone formation, so we could reach final diagnosis as low grade sarcoma. We treated this patient with bloc resection of the mandible and immediate reconstruction with iliac corticocancellous block.
