We have examined the purgative effect of three Jechun-jun formulas in sprague dawley(SD) rat. Three jechun-jun formulas were Jechun-jun(Sample I ) and augmented Jechun-jun(Sample II) and augmented Jechun-jun add rhubarb(sample III ). We examined the amount and the humidity of feces in rat. The experimental animals were devided into four groups. as control group and three Jechun-jun (sample I, II, III). We administerd the water extract of sample I, II, III to rat per oral for 8days long. After every 24hours measured the amount of wet feces from rats in metabolic cage. Humidity rate of feces from rat was at first measure wet feces for 24hours (W) and measure dried feces (W1) and then we consider W-W1 as humidity. High humidity rate means constipation changes into moistening stool. The amount of wet feces and humidity rate of feces in rats were increased in sample I, II, III. Sample I has highest humidity rate of feces. so showed strong moistening effect. Sample II has mild effect in treating constipation. sample III has most amount of wet feces. in conclusion Jechun-jun has an effect of moistening stool. and augmented Jechun-jun add rhubarb has strong purgative effect.
No Association between PIK3CA Polymorphism and Lung Cancer Risk in the Korean Population

The PIK3CA gene, oncogenic gene located on human chromosome 3q26.3, is an important regulator of cell proliferation, death, motility and invasion. To evaluate the role of PIK3CA gene in the risk of Korean lung cancer, genotypes of the PIK3CA polymorphisms (rs11709323, rs2699895, rs3729679, rs17849074 and rs1356413) were determined in 423 lung cancer patients and 443 normal controls. Statistical analyses revealed that the genotypes and haplotypes in the PIK3CA gene were not significantly associated with the risk of lung cancer in the Korean population, suggesting that these PIK3CA polymorphisms do not contribute to the genetic susceptibility to lung cancer in the Korean population.
Estimation of Genetic Parameters for Economic Traits in Korean Native Chickens

Heritabilities and genetic correlations of economic traits were estimated with a multiple-trait animal model on 5 different strains of Korea Native Chickens (KNC): Red Brown (RB), Yellow Brown (YB), Gray Brown (GB), Black (B) and White (W). The data used for this study were collected from the Daejeon branch of the National Livestock Research Institute and included 11,233 performance records and 12,729 individual animals. DFREML and SAS BASE/STAT packages were used to estimate genetic parameters and descriptive statistics. The estimated heritabilities for strain RB, YB, GB, B and W, respectively, for age at 1st egg were 0.24, 0.27, 0.12, 0.32 and 0.18; for body weight at first egg were 0.39, 0.43, 0.38, 0.52 and 0.57; for body weight at age of 270 days were 0.43, 0.51, 0.30, 0.52 and 0.67; for egg weight at first egg were 0.08, 0.13, 0.07, 0.06 and 0.07; for egg weight at age of 270 days were 0.37, 0.43, 0.22, 0.34 and 0.41; and for number of eggs laid by age of 270 days were 0.24, 0.25, 0.37, 0.36 and 0.30. The genetic and phenotypic correlations were also estimated.

A digital differential transmitter based on CMOS inverter worked up to 2.8 Gbps at the supply voltage of 1 V with a 0.18 ㎛ CMOS process. By calibrating the output impedance of the transmitter, the impedance matching between the transmitter output and the transmission line is achieved. The PVT variations of pre-driver are compensated by the calibration of the rising-edge delay and falling-edge delay of the pre-driver outputs. The chip fabricated with a 0.18 ㎛ CMOS process, which uses the standard supply voltage of 1.8 V, gives the highest data rate of 4 Gbps at the supply voltage of 1.2 V. The proposed calibration schemes improve the eye opening with the voltage margin by 200% and the timing margin by 30%, at 2.8 Gbps and 1 V.

Aims:HepaticCvirus(HCV)genotype3infectionisthemostdifficultformofHCVtotreat,withamorerapidprogressiontofibrosisandcirrhosiscomparedwithothergenotypes.Theaimsofthisretrospectiveobservationalstudyweretoelucidatetheimpactofgenotype3infectiononhepatocellularcarcinoma(HCC)developmentandoverallmortalityinpatientswithHCV-relatedcirrhosis,comparedtoHCVgenotype1and2intheGyeongnamProvince,locatedonthesoutheastcoastofKorea.Methods:Atotal153patientswithHCV-relatedcirrhosiswereincludedbetweenJanuary2005andDecember2014.Amongthese,74hadgenotype1,55genotype2,and24patientshadgenotype3infection.Results:Theprevalenceofgenotype3inHCV-relatedcirrhosiswas16%.Individualsatriskforgenotype3infectionwereyoung,malegender,andpeoplewhoinjectdrugs.Duringmedianamedianfollow-up40.1months,38patientsdevelopedHCC,and23patientsdied.TheincidenceofHCCdevelopmentandoverallmortalitywassignificanthigherinpatientswithgenotype3comparedtopatientswithgenotype1and2inthelogranktest.Despitebeingyounger,HCVgenotype3wasaindependentriskfactorforHCCdevelopment(adjustedhazardratio[HR〕=2.55)andoverallmortality(adjustedHR=3.69)onmultivariateanlalysis.Afterexclusionofpatientswithachievedsustainedvirologicresponse,theincidenceofHCCdevelopmentandoverallmortalitywassignificanthigherinpatientswithgenotype3comparedtopatientswithnogenotype3.Conclusions:HCVgenotype3infectionisassociatedwithanincreasedriskofHCCandoverallmortalityinpatientswithcirrhosisafteradjustingwithconfoundingfactors.
Fuzzy Maximal P-Ideals of Bci-Algebras

Our task will be to set up a fuzzy maximal p-ideal in BCI-algebras. We construct a new fuzzy p-ideal front old. We also prove that every fuzzy maximal p-ideal is normalized, and takes only the values {0,1}. The concept of a fuzzy set, which was introduced by Zadeh [11], is applied to BCK-algebras by Xi [10], In [12] Zhang and Hao introduced the concept of p-ideals of BCI-algebras and obtained a number of its properties. The fuzzification of p-ideals is stated from the first author with Meng [7]. Also the first author, in [5], considered normalized fuzzy p-ideals and fuzzy characteristic p-ideals. In this paper, we discuss a fuzzy maximal p-ideals in BCI-algebras. We verify that every fuzzy maximal p-ideal is normalized, and takes only the values {0,1}. We also construct a new fuzzy p-ideal from old. A BCI-algebra is an algebra (X; *, 0) of type (2, 0) satisfying the following axioms: (I) ((x*y)*(x*z))*(z*y)=0, (II) (x*(x*y))*y=0, (III) x*x=0, (IV) x*y=0 and y*x=0 imply that x=y, for all x,y,z∈X. A partial ordering ≤ on X can be defined by x≤y if and only if x * y = 0.

<P>The low-frequency noise (LFN) of a p-type nanowire FET (p-NWFET) was characterized and compared with that of an n-type NWFET (n-NWFET) in terms of dominant noise source and its location in the channel region. An inverse proportional dependence of the noise level on channel diameter was observed in the p-NWFET but not in the n-NWFET. The LFN was observed to be mainly generated by Hooge mobility fluctuation in the p-NWFET. Under a switched biasing condition, p-NWFET showed no substantial LFN reduction (in contrast to the n-NWFET), indicating that the carrier number fluctuation was insignificant. This was due to the compressive stress induced by embedded SiGe with heavier transverse effective hole mobility.</P>
ANC-ALOHA: Analog Network Coding ALOHA for Satellite Networks

<P>We propose a new random access protocol based on reservation ALOHA (R-ALOHA), called ANC-ALOHA, for applying analog network coding (ANC) to the slotted ALOHA channel of satellite networks (SATNETs). Although ANC promises excellent performance in SATNETs, ANC is not guaranteed in slotted ALOHA owing to the inherent randomness. R-ALOHA can be used to acquire a slot for ANC, but there are still two remaining problems to be overcome. First, the reservation maintenance of R-ALOHA does not work for ANC owing to the superposed signals. Second, a channel estimation scheme for ANC is needed in a slotted ALOHA channel. ANC-ALOHA exploits a keep-on sequence as the preamble and postamble of a burst for ANC to solve the above issues. The reduced payload size and delayed transmission are also proposed to assure the reception of the keep-on sequence. We derived an analytic model to verify the throughput of ANC-ALOHA, and validated it based on the simulation results. The results indicate that ANC-ALOHA significantly improves the channel throughput compared to R-ALOHA.</P>
