        Highly Efficient Shoot Regeneration from Cotyledonary Nodes of Vegetable Soybean

        To establish a highly efficient system for shoot regeneration in vegetable soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill), explants were obtained from six genotypes and adventitious shoots were regenerated from cotyledonary nodes cultured on medium supplemented with different concentrations of N-phenyl-N′-1, 2, 3-thiadiazol-5-ylurea (thidiazuron TDZ) and 1-naphthylacetic acid (NAA). The most effective combination of plant growth regulators was selected first and then the effects of medium types, inoculation methods and genotypic differences on shoot regeneration were studied. The explants were inserted either vertically or horizontally into the medium and five basal media, including B5, ½ B5, MS, ½ MS, and MSB (MS salts and B5 organics), were tested. The shoot regeneration frequency of the six genotypes ranged from 53.5% to 88.9% and three of them reached 88.9%, 87.5% and 83.3%, respectively, on B5 medium supplemented with 1 ㎎?L<SUP>-1</SUP> TDZ, 0.05 ㎎?L<SUP>-1</SUP> NAA, and 5 ㎎?L<SUP>-1</SUP> AgNO₃. The shoot regeneration frequency of explants cultured on B5 medium was significantly higher than that of the other four basal media. The vertically inserted explants were found to yield a higher shoot regeneration frequency than that of horizontally inserted ones; the maximum difference of regenerating percentages between the two methods was 37.5%. In summary, TDZ was an efficient plant growth regulator for shoot induction. B5 medium and vertically inserted explants promoted shoot regeneration. We believe this highly efficient shoot regeneration system will provide foundation for the further transgenic studies in vegetable soybean.

        Effects of 8 week SAQ training on physical fitness and skills of adolescent female soccer players

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of SAQ training on the physical quality and football technology of young female soccer players. Thirty-two adolescent female soccer players were divided into experimental groups (n=16) and control groups (n=16), followed by SAQ training for 30-40 minutes four times a week for a total of eight weeks. The intensity of SAQ training has gradually increased, and the following conclusions have been reached through the program. SAQ training speed for teenage female footballers (p<.05), agility (p<.05), dribble steering (p<.05) and quadrilateral pass catch (p<.05) improvement has obvious effect. However, the strength and endurance of teenage female footballers have not improve. Traditional training has a significant effect on the shot test (p<.05) and speed (p<.05) improvement of young female soccer players, but it has no effect on the improvement of agility. The results show that SAQ training is expected to improve the athletic performance of adolescent female soccer players.

        Almost Sure Stability of Dual Switching Continuous-time Nonlinear System With Deterministic and Stochastic Subsystems

        In this paper, the almost surely globally asymptotical stability and the almost surely exponential stability for dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system are investigated by using the probability analysis method and stochastic Multi-Lyapunov function, respectively. Different from the previous research results, it is the first time that dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system is used as a study object to investigate its switching stability. Then, the probability analysis method is used to overcome the deficiency that the ergodicity no longer holds due to the variable transition rate of Markov process. Some sufficient conditions for the globally asymptomatic stability almost surely and the almost surely exponential stability of dual switching continuous-time nonlinear system are given under the pre-designed deterministic switching strategy. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

        Cortical Morphometric Abnormality and Its Association with Working Memory in Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

        Objective Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children and adolescents. The present study investigated the cortical morphology features and their relationship with working memory (WM). Methods In the present study, a total of 36 medication naïve children with ADHD (aged from 8 to 15 years) and 36 age- and gendermatched healthy control (HC) children were included. The digit span test was used to evaluate WM. The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was used to examine the characteristics of cortical morphology. Firstly, we compared the cortical morphology features between two groups to identify the potential structural alterations of cortical volume, surface, thickness, and curvature in children with ADHD. Then, the correlation between the brain structural abnormalities and WM was further explored in children with ADHD. Results Compared with the HC children, the children with ADHD showed reduced cortical volumes in the left lateral superior temporal gyrus (STG) (p=6.67×10-6) and left anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) (p=3.88×10-4). In addition, the cortical volume of left lateral STG was positively correlated with WM (r=0.36, p=0.029). Conclusion Though preliminary, these findings suggest that the reduced cortical volumes of left lateral STG may contribute to the pathogenesis of ADHD and correlate with WM in children with ADHD.

        Some Observations of the Influence Factors on the Response of Pile Groups

        A simplified approach for nonlinear analysis of the load-displacement response of pile groups embedded in multilayered soils is presented in this work. A hyperbolic model is used to capture the relationship between unit skin friction and pile-soil relative displacement developed along the pile-soil interface and the stress-displacement relationship developed at the pile end. Considering interactive effect among piles, the parameters related to the hyperbolic model of an individual pile in a group can be computed. As to the analysis of the response of pile groups, a highly effective iterative computer program is developed using the hyperbolic model of an individual pile in a group. The efficiency and accuracy of the present method is verified using a well-documented field test. Furthermore, a parametric study is conducted to capture the influence of pile spacing and number of piles on the load-settlement response of the pile groups connected to a rigid cap. The pile-group settlement ratio and the pile-group resistance ratio are analyzed to assess the interaction effect among individual piles.

        Construction and Characterization of Full-Length cDNA Library and Expressed Sequence Tags Analysis in Developing Seeds of Vegetable Soybean

        The objectives of this paper were to construct a full-length cDNA library and identify genes encoding high quality proteins in developing seeds of vegetable soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.]. The construction of full-length cDNA library was essential for screening and cloning of novel genes. Using vegetable soybean variety ‘NN99-10’ as an experimental material, a full-length cDNA library from the developing seeds was constructed by switching mechanism at 5’-end of RNA transcript (SMART) approach. Total RNA from different developmental stages of seeds was purified. Double strand cDNA was synthesized by SMART method and the cDNA fragments were ligated to the pBluescript II SK vector. The recombinant plasmids were transformed into E. coli by electroporation and a cDNA library of developing seeds was successfully constructed. By counting the number of colonies, the titer of the primary cDNA library was 7.6×10? cfuㆍ㎖<SUP>-1</SUP>, and that of the amplified library was 2.4×10<SUP>12</SUP> cfuㆍ㎖<SUP>-1</SUP>. Electrophoresis gel results indicated that most of the cDNA inserts were ranged from 0.40 to 2.0 kb, with an average size of larger than 800 bp. Randomly picked clones showed that the recombination rate was above 99%. These evidences showed that the cDNA library constructed was a full-length library with high quality, and could be used to screen the genes encoding high quality proteins. A total of 206 randomly selected positive clones were successfully sequenced, and 73% of them contained full-length coding regions. Based on bioinformatics analysis of the sequences, we obtained 192 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) from 206 cDNA positive clones. Eight important genes which might be involved in seed quality were identified, and two of their genes were identified to be related to the allergenicity of seed proteins. The full-length cDNA library constructed in this research has laid the foundation for the further cloning of novel genes and the revealed EST sequences have enriched our knowledge of the function genes of vegetable soybean seeds.

        최근 중국 환경범죄의 형법입법은 입법체제, 죄명체계, 범죄구성, 형벌처벌 등 면에서 모두 문제들을 갖고 있어 보완할 필요가 있다. 이를 위하여 과학적인 환경범죄 형법 입법 체제, 환경범죄의 죄명체계와 범죄구성의 완선(完善), 환경범죄의 형벌적용원칙의 완선, 형벌종류, 환경범죄의 형벌강도 조정을 확립해야 한다. 환경범죄 형법입법 완선을 진행할 때 반드시 형법의 보충성을 고수하여 환경 윤리관념의 갱신을 진행해야 한다.

        Infuence of Diferent XLPE Cable Defects on the Initiation of Electric Trees

        Defects in the insulation layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable are the leading cause of electrical tree. The mechanism that how the diferent insulation defects infuence on the starting of electrical tree should be explored, and it will be utilized to improve cable insulation in the production and installation. In the paper, frstly the spike-air gap defect as the main defect characteristics of cable fault has been determined by analyzing the actual cable defect type and infuence. Then, the needle-electrode short cable test system was built and the representative defect model was constructed, in order to simulate the infuence of the spike-air gap defect of diferent sizes in the outer semiconductor layer on the initial voltage of electrical tree. Thirdly, the Physical model was created to analyze the infuence of each defect parameters. The research showed that the electrical tree of XLPE cable was mainly caused by defects in the semiconductor layer. The maximum electric feld distribution can be formulized by the maximum feld strength Mason model. According to the formulation and the test results, the main parameters, including the spur curvature, the micro-pore pressure and the initial energy of generating electric tree, have a positive promotion on the initial voltage of the electrical tree and can hinder the tree developing. Therefore, utilizing the interface treatment method between the insulation layer and the semiconductor layer, the insulation heat treatment process and the flling of the inert gas are to improve the parameters and further resist electrical tree aging in the production and installation.
