In the most cases we analyze a single time series without explicitly using information contained in the related time series In many forecasting situations, other events will systematically influence the series to be forecasted(the dependent variables), and therefore, there is need to go beyond a univariate forecasting model. Thus, we must build a forecasting model that incorporates more than one time series and introduces explicitly the dynamic characteristics of the system. Such a model in called a multiple time series model or transfer function model. The purpose of this study is to develop the stochastic stream water quality model of Puyea station in Keum river system. The performance of the multiplicative ARIMA model and the multiple input-single output transfer function model were examined through comparisons between the historical and generated monthly dissolved oxygen series. The result reveal that the multiple input-single output model lead to teh improved accuracy.
Drone for building fire suppression

introduction: Most of the developed cities are now highly populated with increased high-rise buildings. In general, high-rise structures are not preferred due to user perception of insecurity in case of fire and high cost of the building. Recently, there were fire accident occurred in an eight-story building that resulted in numerous causalities and property damage. Globally, there is a constant increase in fire accident in high-rise building. Based on the National Security Agency, the total number of fires in the apartment was 5,798. In that, the high-rise building fire accounted about 60.4% of all building fires. However, not much effort taken to reduce the rate of fire accidents especially in high-rise building. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to conduct a basic research on how to reduce a fire at an early stage by placing a fire extinguisher in the drones. It also aims at increasing the speed of fire fighters responses to reduce causalities and property damage. Method: First, this study adopted a method of launching a hand grenade type throwing fire extinguisher into a drone. We selected DJI Inspire 1 model with wide range of manoeuvrability, less affected by wind, and can withstand weight of the hand grenade type fire extinguisher (1.2 kg) also. In addition, we surveyed drone specialists and fire-fighters to determine the appropriate number of fire extinguishers and their location. Conclusion/Discussion: The survey concludes that a total of four hand grenade type throwing fire extinguisher could be installed in a drone and also the drone can throw the fire extinguisher at an angle of 100 degrees downward. However, the drones can fly about 15 minutes only. This survey also suggest that the fire drone would help to reduce fires in high-rise building and also it can reach fire sites six times faster than golden time. It is expected that about 2,000 ~ 3,000 drones to be placed in fire sites annually, particularly in high-rise building to reduce losses of both life and property

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the depuration process (artificial seawater sterilization using UV light) for extending the shelf life of raw oyster Crassostrea gigas and maintaining food quality. To confirm the effects of depuration, microbiological (viable cell count) and several physiochemical analyses (pH and glycogen levels in shucked oyster and pH, soluble protein, and turbidity in filling water) were carried out during the storage of raw oysters. The results showed that depuration could effectively extend the shelf life (2-3 days) of raw oysters with minimal change in food quality, including pH and glycogen content. Thus, the depuration process proposed in this study could successfully be applied to processing practices for other shellfish to extend their shelf life and contribute to the management of seafood safety issues.

Background/Aims: There are few reports regarding mixed carcinoma, defined as a mixture of glandular and poorly cohesive components, in patients with gastric cancer (GC). The aim of this study was to evaluate the proportion and characteristics of mixed carcinoma in GC patients. Methods: A total of 7,215 patients diagnosed with GC at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital were enrolled from March 2011 to February 2020. GC was divided into four groups (wellmoderately differentiated GC, poorly differentiated GC, poorly cohesive carcinoma, and mixed carcinoma). The proportion of each GC type and the clinicopathological features were analyzed and divided into early GC and advanced GC. Results: The proportion of mixed carcinoma was 10.9% (n=787). In early GC, submucosal invasion was the most common in poorly differentiated (53.7%), and mixed carcinoma ranked second (41.1%). Mixed carcinoma showed the highest proportion of lymph node metastasis in early GC (23.0%) and advanced GC (78.3%). In advanced GC, the rate of distant metastasis was 3.6% and 3.9% in well-moderately differentiated GC and mixed carcinoma, respectively, lower than that in poorly differentiated GC (6.4%) and poorly cohesive carcinoma (5.7%), without statistical significance. Conclusions: Mixed carcinoma was associated with lymph node metastasis compared to other histological GC subtypes. And it showed relatively common submucosal invasion in early GC, but the rates of venous invasion and distant metastasis were lower in advanced GC. Further research is needed to uncover the mechanism underlying these characteristics of mixed carcinoma (Trial registration number: NCT04973631).

This study examined the effect of a chemically nanostructured surface of cylinder forming poly(styrene-b-methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) and poly(styrene-b-4vinyl pyridine) (PS-b-P4VP) block copolymer gate dielectrics on the performance of the bottom gate pentacene organic thin film transistor (OTFT). The field effect mobility of pentacene is affected mainly by the chemical properties of the top skin of a block copolymer layer. In the case of PS-b-PMMA with cylindrical PMMA microdomains that are located very closely at the block copolymer-pentacene interface because the surface energy of PMMA is similar to that of PS, the field effect mobility in general corresponds to the area averaged value of the two mobilities with the pure PS and PMMA layer. On the other hand, PS-b-P4VP copolymer results in a similar field effect mobility to that of the pure PS layer because the cylindrical P4VP microdomains are embedded in the PS matrix of which the surface energy is much lower than that of P4VP. The orientation of the cylindrical PMMA microdomains with respect to the surface also affects the field effect mobility, where the PMMA microdomains are aligned perpendicular to the surface, gave rise to a mobility approximately 50% higher than those parallel to the surface. The composite model with parallel and series resistance units offers qualitative understanding of these results.

Recently Digital TV industry has drastically been moving the illuminating system, which causes an obvious product change from PDP and LCD to LED model to provide high-definition image. Due to strong competition in the digital industry. TV manufacturers make a great efforts to reduce production cost by using low-priced materials such as steels instead of aluminum and plastic etc. In this paper we have developed a new low-priced electrogalvanized steel sheet, which has a black resin composite layer, to substitute conventional high-priced PCM steel and plastic mold for rear cover panel in the digital TV. The black resin composite was prepared by mechanical dispersion of the mixture solution that consists of high solid polyester resin, melamine hardener, black pigment, micronized silica paste, polyacrylate texturing particle and miscellaneous additives. The composite solution was coated on the steel sheet using roll coater followed by induction furnace curing and cooling. Although the coated layer has a half thickness compared to the conventional PCM steels having 23tn thickness, it exhibits excellent quality for the usage of rear cover panel. The new steel sheet was applied to test products to get quality certification from worldwide electronic appliance customers. Detailed discussion provides in this paper including preparation of composite solution, roll coating technology, induction curing technology and quality evaluation from customers.

Citronellal, a well-known plant-derived mosquito repellent, was previously reported to repel Drosophila melanogaster via olfactory pathways involving but not directly activating Transient Receptor Potential Ankyrin 1 (TRPA1). Here, we show that citronellal is a direct agonist for Drosophila and human TRPA1s (dTRPA1 and hTRPA1) as well as Anopheles gambiae TRPA1 (agTRPA1). Citronellal-induced activity is isoform-dependent for Drosophila and Anopheles gambiae TRPA1s. The recently identified dTRPA1(A) and ag-TRPA1(A) isoforms showed citronellal-provoked currents with EC50s of $1.0{\pm}0.2$ and $0.1{\pm}0.03mM$, respectively, in Xenopus oocytes, while the sensitivities of TRPA1(B)s were much inferior to those of TRPA1(A)s. Citronellal dramatically enhanced the feeding-inhibitory effect of the TRPA1 agonist N-methylmaleimide (NMM) in Drosophila at an NMM concentration that barely repels flies. Thus, citronellal can promote feeding deterrence of fruit flies through direct action on gustatory dTRPA1, revealing the first isoform-specific function for TRPA1(A).
