      • 『요가수뜨라Yoga-sūtra 』와 『상캬까리까Sāṃkhya-kārikā』에 나타난 Pariṇāma의 유사성과 차이성

        빠딴잘리의 요가철학은 상캬철학을 바탕으로 하고 있다고 한다. 그러나 형이상학적 논리의 전개로만 이루어진 상캬철학이 실천적 내용도 포함한 요가철학과 직접적으로 어떻게 연관이 되는지 의문이 들었다. 요가철학은 상캬철학의 형이상학을 수용하였다거나 요가철학의 전변이론은 응당 상캬로부터 유래했을 것이라는 통념 내지 통설로만 설명하기에는 부족하다고 생각된다. 따라서 두 철학의 대표 경전인 『Yoga-sutra』와 『Sāṃkhya-kārikā』 원전을 중심으로 두 경전의 공통된 단어 혹은 유사한 개념들을 찾아 그 의미를 비교 분석하고, 두 철학이 전개하는 논리의 유사성 및 차이성을 찾고자 한다. 그 중에서 해탈이나 윤회의 내용은 제외하고 전변(pariṇāma)이라는 용어를 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. ‘pariṇāma’라는 용어를 『Yoga-sutra』와 『Sāṃkhya-kārikā』 에서 찾아 각각 어떤 의미로 사용되었는지 분석해보고 pariṇāma의 사용에 있어서 두 경전 사이의 유사성과 차이성을 알아본다. 『Yoga-sutra』와 『Sāṃkhya-kārikā』 에서의 pariṇāma의 용례를 찾는 것은 pariṇāma에 대한 쓰임이 다르다는 것과 쁘라끄리띠Prakṛti로부터 전개되어 나온다는 의미의 ‘전변’에 대해 알아보기 위해서이다. 그리고 두 학파 모두 인도전통사상을 바탕으로 하기 때문에 유사성은 있을 것이라고 생각하지만 두 학파를 연관 지어 설명해야하는 필요성에 대해 생각하고, 두 철학의 관계가 현재 요가를 공부하는 것에 어떠한 의의를 가지는 지 논의하고자 한다.

        뫼스바우어 분광법과 색도 분석에 의한 고대 고려청자의 발색메카니즘 연구

        In ancient Goryeo celadon, the effect of the chemical composition and ionic state of Fe on the color was evaluated by Mossbauer spectroscopy and Design of Experiment (DOE) analysis. The ancient celadon pieces excavated from the kiln sites in GangJin and Buan areas were analyzed by Mssbauer spectroscopy, chromaticity, and DOE analysis. The color of celadon was found to be mainly determined by that of glaze since variations of $L^*$, $a^*$, and $b^*$ values for the body were much smaller than those for the glaze. As $Fe^{2+}$/$Fe^{3+}$ in glaze increases, $L^*$ value increases, whereas $a^*$/$b^*$ value decreases, which is well consistent with the result on the synthetic glaze. As the amount of titanium increases in the glaze, the $a^*$ and $b^*$ values decrease; on the other hand, the $L^*$ value increases, which is well consistent with the result on the synthetic glaze.

        박리화와 재적층법을 통한 K<sub>2</sub>La<sub>2</sub>Ti<sub>3</sub>O<sub>10</sub>부터 유전성 Bi<sub>4-x</sub>La<sub>x</sub>Ti<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>(x~2)의 합성

        본 연구팀에서는 층상형 페로브스카이트 구조를 갖는 Ruddlesden-Popper 구조의 $K_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$의 박리화를 통해 Aurivillius 구조의 $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$(x~2) 페로브스카이트 산화물을 성공적으로 합성하였다. 박리화된 란타늄 티타네이트 나노시트는 BiOCl 나노결정구조와 반응시켜 $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$(x~2) 결정을 얻어내었다. 박리화된 나노시트 현탁액은 $K_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$으로부터 수소화된 $H_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$의 층간에 에틸아민을 삽입시킴으로써 얻어내었다. 투과전자현미경(TEM) 분석을 통해, 란타늄 티타네이트가 에틸아민에 의해 박리화된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. X-선 회절분석(XRD)을 통해, 박리화된 란타늄 티타네이트와 BiOCl의 재적층과정을 거쳐 $700^{\circ}C$ 이상의 열처리 조건에서 $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$(x~2)로 형성된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. We have successfully synthesized $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$ (x~2) having Aurivillius-type layered perovskite structure from exfoliated layered perovskite oxide of $K_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$ with Ruddlesden-Popper structure. The reaction between the exfoliated lanthanum titanate nanosheets and BiOCl nanocrystal resulted in the formation of polycrystalline $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$ (x~2) after heating above $700^{\circ}C$. Colloidal suspension of the nanosheets could be obtained by intercalating ethylamine (EA) into the protonated lanthanum titanate, $H_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$, derived from $K_2La_2Ti_3O_{10}$. Transmission electron microscopic (TEM) analysis show that the exfoliated lanthanium titanate nanosheets have a thickness of a few nano meters. According to X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, the exfoliated lanthanium titanate was found to be transformed into $Bi_{4-x}La_xTi_3O_{12}$ (x~2) after restacking with BiOCl and subsequent thermal treatment at > $700^{\circ}C$.

        견봉하 마취제를 투여한 회전근개 파열 환자의 승모근과 삼각근의 활성도

        Objective: To investigate the activities of upper trapezius and deltoid muscles in shoulder abduction in full can and empty can position in rotator cuff tear patients. Method: Twelve subjects with right rotator cuff tear patients participated in this study. Each subject performed scapular plane abduction with humeral external rotation (full can position) and with humeral internal rotation (empty can position). Electromyography (EMG) was recorded with surface electrodes at the both upper trapezius, anterior, lateral, and posterior deltoid muscles during shoulder abduction. The EMG activity of each muscle was normalized according to the highest EMG activity during a maximum manual muscle test for the corresponding muscle. Results: Muscle activities of the lesion side’s upper trapezius and lateral deltoid were significantly greater than those of the normal side in full can position. In empty can position, the activities of upper trapezius, anterior, and lateral deltoid increased in lesion side. In comparison between full can and empty can exercises, over 30o abduction arcs, empty can exercise showed increased muscle activities of upper trapezius and all deltoid muscle in lesion side. In contrast, anterior and lateral deltoid only showed increased in the muscle activities under empty can exercise in sound side. Conclusion: Rotator cuff tear is involved in changed the activities of upper trapezius and deltoid muscles. And these results suggested that in rotator cuff tear patients, the changed pattern of muscle contraction should be considered in shoulder exercise. (J Korean Acad Rehab Med 2010; 34: 316-324)

        구아바 가지 추출물의 생리활성 및 간세포 보호 효과

        This study evaluated the biological activity and cytoprotective effect of guava (Psidium guajava L.) branch against oxidative stress. The contents of vitamin C, beta-carotene, total carotenoids, quercetin and catechin determined were 26.783, 43.676, 65.083, 58.245, and 8.309 mg/100 g, respectively. To measure antioxidant activity, the guava branch was extracted using various concentrations of ethanol (60, 80, or 100%) and water. The highest content of polyphenols (0.245 mg gallic acid equivalent/mg residue) and flavonoids (0.128 mg cathechin equivalent/mg residue) was found in the 100% ethanol extract of the branch (E100). Moreover, E100 also possessed the highest radical scavenging activities and showed the highest inhibition rate of α-glucosidase (77.692%). E100 was the most effective extract to impart cytoprotectant activity against oxidative stress in HepG2 cells. Taken together, our results determine the promising antioxidant activity of guava branch, and indicate the potential to be applied as a natural antioxidant.

        회전근개 파열 환자의 파열 크기에 따른 견관절 최대 우력의 비교

        Objective: To investigate the peak torque of shoulder according to the size of the rotator cuff tear. Method: With 26 patients of unilateral rotator cuff tear, we measured the concentric isokinetic peak torque of shoulder, using Con-Trex isokinetic dynamometer (CMV AG, Deubendorf, Switzerland). We measured flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, external rotation, and internal rotation torques and calculated the peak toque ratio of flexion/ extension, abduction/adduction and external rotation/internal rotation. Before the test, we injected 1% lidocaine to the subacromial bursa to minimize the error that can be caused by pain. The difference of peak torque according to the size of tear was compared. Results: Comparing the peak torque between affected and sound side, significant difference in flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, internal rotation, and external rotation were shown, but there were no difference in peak torque's ratio in flexion/extension, abduction/adduction, and internal rotation/external rotation. When we compared the peak torque according to the tear size, it didn't show significant difference and also there were no difference of peak torque's ratio in flexion/extension, abduction/adduction, internal rotation/external rotation. Conclusion: When we measured the shoulder's strength of rotator cuff tear, peak torque decreased in all motion. But the peak torque's loss and peak torque’s ratio is not related with size of tear.         다발성 골수종 환자에서 Bortezomib에 의한 말초신경병증 발생과 위험인자 분석

        Bortezomib acts by disrupting ubiquitin-proteasome pathway which regulates proteinhomeostasis within the cell and has demonstrated significant activity mainly against recurrent ornewly diagnosed multiple myeloma(MM). Among bortezomib-related side effects, peripheral neuropathy(PN) as main dose-limiting non-haematological toxicity can substantially affect thequality of life of patients. It typically requires dose-reduction, delay, or even premature terminationof successful treatment. Therefore, predicting the risk for neuropathy before the therapyand a proper management of neurotoxicity are very important considerations. The aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence of PN, risk factors, and prior exposure topotentially neurotoxic chemotherapy. A total of 108 patients with multiple myeloma(MM) wereincluded, who received bortezomib in Seoul National University of Hospital(SNUH) from May 2005 to April 2008. A retrospective chart review was performed on SNUH patients’ElectronicMedical Records(EMR), and the SPSS Statistics 19.0 was used for analysis. In univariate analysis, no correlation was found between the development of PN, sex, or age,but creatinine level (Scr≥2)(48% vs 78%, p=0.007, OR=0.264), presence of DM(50% vs 76%,p=0.034, OR=0.324) and number of therapy cycles(N>3)(84% vs 57%, p=0.002, OR=4.046) weresignificantly correlated with PN incidence. In a multivariate logistic regression, the risk of bortezomib-related PN was lower in patients whose creatinine level was high(Scr≥2)(OR=0.248) andgreater in patients treated with high number of bortezomib cylces(N>3)(OR=4.235). Concerning that the prior exposure to chemotherapy could exacerbate neurotoxicity, there waslower incidence of PN in the prior bortezomib treated group(38% vs 62%, p=0.007), prior bortezomibwith thalidomide treated group(36% vs 63%, p=0.003), and prior bortezomib with vincristinetreated group(37% vs 60%, p=0.026).

        청소년의 거부민감성이 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향: 분노반추의 매개효과

        This study was to examine the effect of rejection sensitivity on adolescents and relational aggression and the mediation effect of anger rumination. 390 adolescents residing in Gyeonggi-do participated in this study. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson’s correlation, Mediated analysis, and Parallel multipath analysis using SPSS 23. The results were as follows. First, rejection sensitivity and anger rumination were positively correlated with relational aggression. anger rumination were positively correlated with relational aggression. Second, anger rumination had a partial mediation effect on the relationship between rejection sensitivity and relational aggression. Third, the mediating effects of ‛thoughts of revenge' were significant in the effect of rejection sensitivity on relational aggression; however, ‛angry afterthoughts' and ‛understanding of causes' was not a mediating variable. Based on the results, implications and limitations of this study and suggestions for subsequent research were discussed. 본 연구에서는 청소년의 거부민감성이 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 분노반추의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기 지역의 청소년 340명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여, 상관분석, 매개분석, 병렬다중매개분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 확인한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들의 상관분석 결과, 청소년의 거부민감성과 관계적 공격성은 정적상관을 보였고, 거부민감성과 분노반추, 분노반추와 관계적 공격성 또한 정적상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 분노반추는 청소년의 거부민감성과 관계적 공격성의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 셋째, 거부민감성이 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 분노반추 하위변인들의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, ‘보복사고’만이 부분매개효과를 가졌고, ‘분노후사고’, ‘원인이해’의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 향후 연구에 대한 제안점을 논의하였다.

        산화적 스트레스에 대한 여주(Momordica charantia Linn.)잎의 항산화 활성 및 간세포 보호능

        This study examined the bioactive compound content and the antioxidant activities of bitter melon (Momordica charantia Linn.) leaves. The content of vitamin C, beta-carotene, and total carotenoids was 69.77, 45.68, and 65.08 mg/100 g, respectively. To investigate the antioxidant capacity, bitter melon leaves were extracted using various concentrations of ethanol (60, 80, or 100%). Highest content of total polyphenols (18.07 mg gallic acid equivalent/g) and flavonoids (4.53 mg cathechin equivalent/g) was found in the 100% ethanolic extract of the leaves (E100). Also, the E100 extract showed the highest levels of 2,2'azino-bis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) and α-α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activities. Reducing power was also the highest (39.21 mg Trolox equivalent/g) in E100 extract. The E100 extract effectively inhibited lipid peroxidation by 91.45% compared to the control group. Also, the E100 extract showed a cytoprotective effect against oxidative stress in HepG2 cells and decreased the generation of intracellular reactive oxygen species. These results suggest that bitter melon leaves could be regarded as a potential source of natural antioxidants.
