        홍삼·백년초 복합물이 관절염 개선에 미치는 효과

        Objectives : This study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of a complex mixture of natural substances of ginseng and baeknyeoncho on the arthritic rats. Methods : In vitro experiments were conducted to ensure the stability of the complex. After setting toxicity and concentration by MTT assay, the antioxidant effect was measured through DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity. To confirm the anti-inflammatory effects of the complex, levels of nitric oxide (NO) and pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α) were measured in LPS-treated macrophage cell lines (RAW264.7). We injected monosodium iodoacetate (MIA) 50 μl (60 mg/ml) into knee joints of rats to induce osteoarthritis. The rats were divided into three groups (normal (n=5), control (n=5), and OR (n=5) group). The control group consumed 2 mg/kg of physiological saline once a day for 4 weeks, and the OR group was mixed at a concentration of 416.5 mg/kg of Baengnyeoncho (O) and 208.25 mg/kg of red ginseng (R) and ingested 1 mL each 5 days a week. Results : This complex increased the DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging rate. The complex decreased NO production and pro-inflammatory cytokine production of macrophages. In the OR group, the secretion of cytokine in serum was decreased. In histopathological examination, the joint tissue of the composite showed less damage to the synovial membrane, cartilage, and fibrous tissue than the control group. Conclusions : As a result of this study, natural complexes have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cartilage protection effects. Therefore, we expect the complex to be effective in treating osteoarthritis.

        하늘소아과 검정삼나무하늘소속의 미기록아속인 호리검정삼나무하늘소아속(신칭)에 속하는 Ropalopus (Pronocerodes) aurantiicollis Plavilstshikov, 1940의 한반도 분포를 처음으로 보고한다. 형태적 기재와 사진, 국내 검정삼나무하늘소속의 검색표를 함께 제공한다. The subgenus Pronocerodes Plavilstshikov (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) is reported from Korea for the first time with a species of Ropalopus (Pronocerodes) aurantiicollis Plavilstshikov, 1940. The morphological information is provided with a key to the Korean Ropalopus and photographs of an adult specimen.

        Data-driven health condition and RUL prognosis for liquid filtration systems

        Because the clogging of filters leads to degradation and failure of mechanical systems, it is important to assess the health condition of a filter and predict its remaining useful life (RUL). Despite prior studies of liquid filtration systems, adequate attention has not been paid to data-driven health condition and RUL prognosis. Therefore, this study suggests a datadriven prognosis approach for liquid filtration systems. We define a health index (HI) for the filter under study and then predict HI values from the degradation point to the end-of-life using recurrent neural network algorithms, thereby yielding the filter’s RUL. As a result, the bidirectional LSTM achieved the best performance, and the RUL measured through HI prediction was close to the actual RUL. The proposed approach can be used for the maintenance of liquid filtration systems in various industries.

        MOCVD를 이용한 금속 촉매 종류에 따른 β-Ga<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 나노 와이어의 제작과 특성

        Metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD) 방법을 이용하여 금속 촉매에 따른 ${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$ 나노 와이어의 제작과 특성에 대해 연구하였다. 본 연구의 성장 조건에서 ${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$ 나노 와이어의 성장이 가능한 금속 촉매는 Au, Cu 그리고 Ni이 있었으며 각 금속 촉매로 성장한 나노 와이어는 성장률과 형상에 많은 차이가 있었다. Ni 촉매 성장의 경우에는 Vapor-Solid(VS) 과정이 ${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$ 나노 와이어 성장의 주된 메커니즘이고 Au, Cu 촉매 성장의 경우에는 Vapor-Liquid-Solid(VLS) 과정이 주된 성장 메커니즘 임을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 촉매의 종류에 따라서 ${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$ 나노 와이어의 광학적 특성도 다르게 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면, 동일한 성장 조건에서 Ti, Ag 그리고 Sn 금속은 나노 와이어 성장을 위한 촉매로 작용하지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 금속 촉매에 따른 나노 와이어의 성장 가능 여부와 성장한 나노 와이어의 특성 변화가 금속 촉매의 녹는 점, 금속- Ga의 공융 점과 관련이 있음을 상태도와 연관 지어 밝혀내었다. Catalytic synthesis and properties of ${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$ nanowires grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition are reported. Au, Ni and Cu catalysts were suitable for the growth of $Ga_2O_3$ nanowires under our experimental conditions. The $Ga_2O_3$ nanowires grown by using Au, Ni and Cu catalysts showed different growth rates and morphologies in each case. We found the $Ga_2O_3$ nanowires were grown by the Vapor-Solid (VS) process when Ni was used as a catalyst while the Vapor-Liquid-Solid (VLS) was a dominant process in case of Au and Cu catalysts. Also, we found nanowires showed different optical properties depend on catalytic metals. On the other hand, for the cases of Ti, Sn and Ag catalysts, nanowires could not be obtained under the same condition of Au, Cu and Ni catalytic synthesis. We found that these results are related to the different characteristics of each catalyst, such as, melting points and phase diagrams with gallium metal.

        WDM-PON용 주입 잠금 패브리-페롯 레이저 다이오드의 시영역 대신호 모델링

        A modeling methodology for the analysis of injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser diodes (FP-LDs), promising for cost-effective WDM-PON sources, is proposed. The time-domain large-signal model that is used is found to provide quite similar results to some experimental ones. With our methodology, we model characteristics of FP-LDs, such as influence of reflectivity at a facet and detuning on injection-locking. The eye diagram characteristics are also investigated. It is observed that the facet reflectivity at the injection side should be lower than 1% to provide stable operation in terms of good side-mode suppression ratio and independence from detuning between narrow-band injection noise and LD modes. It is also observed that good eye opening can be obtained for 155 Mbps modulation while the parameters such as the active region thickness should be properly optimized to obtain reasonable eye opening at 1.25 Gbps. WDM-PON 용 저가형 광원으로 유망한 주입 잠금 패브리-페롯 레이저 다이오드의 특성 해석을 위한 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 해석 방법으로는 시영역 대신호 모델을 이용하였으며, 계산 결과는 기존의 실험 결과와 유사한 경향을 보임을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 특정한 파라미터를 가지는 레이저 다이오드 구조에서의 단면 반사율에 따른 동작 특성과 디튜닝, 아이 다이어그램등을 모델링 하였다. 특히 단면 반사율의 값에 따른 부모드 억제율 특성 및 디튜닝의 영향을 살펴보았으며, 주입되는 단면의 반사율이 1% 미만으로 유지되어야 안정된 특성을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 아이 다이어그램의 경우 155 Mbps 급에서는 손쉽게 아이 열림을 얻을 수 있지만, 1.25 Gbps 급에서는 레이저 다이오드의 활성층 두께 등의 파라미터를 적정화해야 적정한 아이특성을 얻을 수 있음을 보였다.

        석회화 상피성 치성종양의 증례보고

        The calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor is a rare benign odontogenic neoplasm which was first described by Pindborg in 1955 and accounts for less than 1% of all odontogenic tumors. The tumor occurs primarily in the molar-premolar region of the mandible, and 52% of cases are associated with an unerupted tooth. The clinical feature is most commonly a slow-growing painless swelling. The tumor may show considerable radiographic variation and usually characteristic histopathologic features. In this study, we report a case of the calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor on the left mandibular body and ramus area in a 28-year-old male with a brief review of the concerned literatures.

        안운동 이상에서 영상진단의 유용성

        Purpose: To evaluate the usefulness of imaging diagnosis in patients with atypical oculomotor abnormalities and paralytic strabismus. Methods: The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT) of 3 patients with atypical Y pattern vertical incomitance and medial rectus (MR) paresis after MR impingement reduction and A pattern vertical incomitance were analyzed. High-resolution, surface coil MRI was used to obtain sets of contiguous, 2-mm thick quasi-coronal images in 9-cardinal gaze directions. Digital image analysis was used to evaluate the results. Results: MRI revealed lateral displacement of the superior rectus (SR) and inferior displacement of the lateral rectus (LR) during upper temporal gaze and inferior displacement of the LR during lateral gaze in patients with Y pattern vertical incomitance. In patients with MR paresis, the maximal surface area of MR cross section is in the image plane 10 mm posterior from the orbital center at primary gaze. The maximal surface area of MR cross section is in the image plane 22 mm posterior from the orbital center during medial gaze. Quasi-coronal images show that contraction tends to cause the plane of maximum cross-section to move posteriorly. Surgical treatment was avoided and observational treatment maintained. There is incyclotorsion of both extraocular muscles in patients with A pattern vertical incomitance and upslanted palpebral fissure. Conclusions: Imaging diagnosis of pulley position and rectus muscle contractility is helpful for determining accurate diagnosis and treatment methods at atypical oculomotor abnormalities and paralytic strabismus.

        연근해어선의 안전조업을 위한 법제 개선방안

        Although it is highly dependent on the production of coastal and offshore fishing, the Fishing Vessels Safety Fisheries Act was enacted in 2019 due to the continuous increase in marine accidents of coastal and offshore fishing vessels. However, the law is too focused on fishing and navigation in certain waters and does not contain accident-preventive content. Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries proposes a plan to revise the Fishing Boat Safety Fishing Act through legal comparison with Japan's Seafarers' Labor Sanitation Rules. It also proposes an amendment that includes the content of the Seafarers Act on post-accident action obligations. Under the Fishing Vessels Safety Fishing Act, the safety fishing education is implemented for specific people and adopts a method of delivery education after completing the education. The reason for this is that the educational requirements are not sufficient compared to the number of education personnel. Moreover, four hours of education are conducted once a year, which is not suitable for insufficient educational conditions. For efficient safety fishing education, improvement measures are proposed compared to education in the United States and the United Kingdom.

        발달장애아 치료(治療)에 쓸 수 있는 한방음악치료(韓方音樂治療) 기법(機法)에 관한 연구(硏究)

        Objectives: The basic cause of developmental disability is congenital weakness, which is a disorder of the kidney according to the Oriental medicine definition. I suggest the oriental medicine music therapy, which can improve congenital weakness and recover the kidney dysfunction. Methods: This study focused autism and Asperger syndrome in terms of Oriental medicine, and also considered view points from the Western medicine. Conclusions 1. The kidney monitors vital elements which were produced from the bone marrow. Therefore, the growth and the development of a skeletal structure are related to the strength and weakness of kidney, which is measured in Qi score. 2. In a case of the deficiency of kidney, an essence due to congenital defect, it shows the symptoms of the developmental disability such as sluggish reaction and physical movements, falling of memory, hearing, and eyesight. 3. For the kidney disorder, "Eum music therapy", one of the oriental medicine music therapies, can promote development of the kidney and kidney-Qi score for the children with developmental disability.

        측두하악관절조영술을 이용한 측두하악관절장애의 임상적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to prove the relationship between arthrographic and clinical features in temporomandibular joint disorders. In order to carry out this study, ninety-eight arthrographic examinations of temporomandibular joints were performed on eighty-two patients who had the temporomandibular joint disorders. As the arthrographic examination, the cases were classified in three groups, disk displacement with reduction, disk displacement without reduction, within normal limit. After this, the cases were clinically examined, and the results were compared and analyzed in each other group. The obtained results were as follows; 1. As the classification by arthrographic examination, three groups (disc displacement with reduction, disc displacement without reduction, within normal limit) were 41 %, 54%, 5% of total cases in this study, respectively. 2. The third decade(65%) was most frequent in this study. The average age of each group (disc displacement with reduction, disc displacement without reduction, within normal limit) was 24, 28, 21, and disc displacement without reduction group was higher than any other group. 3. In the chief complaint, pain was the most frequent in all three groups. Joint sound was also frequent in disc displacement with reduction group, but in disc displacement without reduction group, limitation of mouth opening was more frequent. 4. Of the various pain, the movement pain was most frequent ( 61 %) in this study. In joint sound, click(63%) was the most frequent in disc displacement with reduction group, but sound history(42%) and no sound (31 %) were more frequent in disc displacement without reduction group. 5. The average maximum opening of each group (disc displacement with reduction, disc displacement without reduction, within normal limit) was 44mm, 32.9mm, 44mm, and disc displacement without reduction group was less than any other group. 6. The masticatory disturbance of each group (disc displacement with reduction, disc displacement without reduction, within normal limit) was 53%, 79%, 40%, and the trauma history of each group was 50%, 40%,60%.
