Migrating T cell shows typical hand-mirror shape, leading edge and uropod polarity. EL 4 T cells features partitioned morphology like leading edge and uropod. In order to verify this polarity, EL 4 T cells were stained for nucleus, Golgi apparatus, cell membrane with DAPI, BODIPY-FL C5-ceramide and CD44, respectively. EL4 T cells showed typical migrating T cell shape. Ezrin is a cross-linker between cell membrane and cytoskeleton. Especially, phospho-ezrin may play an important role for uropod region. Phospho-ezrin was accumulated in uropod region immune-stained with anti phospho ezrin antibody. T567D ezrin, phospho-mimetic form of ezrin, was transfected into EL4 T cells. T567D transfectants showed enhanced uropod structure and disrupted leading edge. NH2 terminal domain (NT)-ezrin transfectants showed weak uropod structure. In addition, T567D had ability of cytoplasmic accumulation of F-actin in P3X63,653 myeloma cell. To test cell biological function with enhanced uropod, cell migration assay was carried out with T567D ezrin transfectants. Reduced cell migration was detected in T567D transfectants with F2 endothelial cell, however cell migration was increased in T567D transfectants without F2 cells. Collectively, phospho-ezrin is involved in uropod fromation and uropod facilitates the rapid cell migration.
체동맥 폐순환의 Amplatzer vascular plug 를 이용한 치료의 1예

폐격리증 없이 정상 기관지와 연결된 폐실질 조직에 체동맥이 분포하는 선천성 기형은 드문 질환으로 이중 좌폐하엽 기저분절의 체동맥 분포가 가장 많은 것으로 알려져 있다. 수술적인 치료가 일반적이었지만, 최근 수술의 위험성 및 합병증을 줄이기 위해 동맥색전술을 이용한 치료가 시도되고 있으며, 주로 코일을 이용한 동맥색전술이 보고되어 왔다.저자들은 반복적인 객혈을 하였던 22세 남자에서 폐격리증이 동반 되지 않은 우폐하엽의 10 mm의 체동맥 분포를 확인 하였고, 섭식동맥 직경이 크고 혈류가 빨라 Amplatzer 혈관폐색장치를 이용한 색전술을 시행한 증례를 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. 22세의 특이질환 없는 남자 환자가 반복되는 객혈로 입원하였다. 이학적 검사상 특별한 소견은 없었고, 혈액검사 및 X-ray 상에서도 특별한 소견은 보이지 않았다. Bronchoscopy상 오른쪽 제2기관 분기부에서 출혈의 흔적과 식염수세척시 피가 나오는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 흉부 CT상 우폐하엽의 유리음영과 함께 약 10 mm의 흉부동맥에서 우하폐엽으로 분지되는 섭식동맥이 관찰되었다. 혈관조영술에서 흉부대동맥에서 우폐하엽으로 분지되는 섭식 동맥, 동정맥혈관 및 분출 정맥을 관찰하였고 직경이 크고 혈류가 빠를 때 유리한 Amplatzer 혈관폐색장치를 사용하여 동맥색전술을 시행하였다. 시술 이후 색전술 후 중후군 및 폐렴으로 2주간의 항생제 치료 이후 양호한 상태로 퇴원하였고 2년간 외래를 통한 관찰 결과 특별한 합병증은 없었다. 최근의 여러 가지 보고를 통해 체동맥 폐순환에 의한 합병증으로 치료의 적응증이 있는 경우 동맥색전술이 우선적인 치료법으로 고려될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 그리고 섭식동맥의 크기가 커서 기존의 코일 색전술시 합병증의 발생위험이 높은 경우, Amplatzer 혈관폐색장치를 경피적 색전술이 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로

A tour product has a higher risk perception due to its intangibility. In the light of this, the brand awareness is important factor to reduce the perceived risk. Therefore, we measured the brand awareness to study whether it affects on decision of travel agency. As a result of study, we could get the following outcome. First, it is important to be exposed to the consumer constantly. The travel agency that highly recognized has a long history of their company, which means that their brand could be exposed to the people through a newspaper, TV frequently for a long period of time. Second, it is necessary to unify the brand name. Many of travel agency has two different brand name - one for tour product and another for the company. It makes consumer hard to recognize their brand. Third, we found out that the brand awareness effects positive influence on consumer to choose a travel agency. The intention of choice is higher with 'heard and know the brand as well' category group than 'heard but don't know well' and 'never heard' group. It can be considered as a natural result, but it proved that the brand awareness has a quite important role for decision-making process. Therefore, it is highly recommend building a brand name to be chosen.

Recycling of abandoned waste bottom ash has been a key issue in Republic of Korea in terms of environmental protection as well as economic concern. In this work, a method for recycling of abandoned bottom ash has been discussed based on the results from laboratory and industrial-scale experiments. Abandoned bottom ash was magnetically separated and properties of magnetically separated bottom ash samples as well as properties of mortar and masonry cement brick made of bottom ash were investigated. According to the experimental results, bulk and skeletal densities were ranked in the order of strongly magnetic > weakly magnetic > as-received > non-magnetic (from heavier to lighter) bottom ash. From laboratory-scale experiments, compressive strengths of mortars made of bottom ash samples (measured by ASTM C 109) were lower than that of mortar made of standard sand. Among bottom ash samples, mortar made of non-magnetic bottom ash (after removal of unburnt carbon) showed higher compressive strength with lower thermal conductivity (measured by ASTM C 1113) and weight than others. Masonry cement brick made of magnetic bottom ash showed lower weight and thermal conductivity than those made of standard sand, while meeting the KS strength guideline as a masonry cement brick. The results suggest the applicability of bottom ash as lightweight aggregate for production of masonry cement brick. However, considering the lower strength obtained from masonry cement brick made of as-received bottom ash (without removal of unburnt carbon), unburnt carbon content should be removed prior to its utilization as lightweight aggregate.

The beginning of the hat cymbals is a clanger. A small cymbals are attached to the edge of the base drum head, which is designed so that the beater hits the base drum head and the cymbals at the same time as it moves to the base drum head. However, after the American Civil War, difficult economic conditions and capitalism forced companies to reduce the composition of bands, and drummers began to find and develop new devices for more advanced methods of playing after the creation of double-drumming. This study investigates and organizes its history from clangers to snowshoe, pedal Charleston, and low hat to remote hi-hat stands and twin pedals to modern hi-hat cymbals. It is hoped that the history of hat cymbals, which plays a key role in rhythm making among the components of drum sets, will help us understand the composition of drum sets and further provide a broad understanding of the connection between drum sets and the development of jazz and popular music.
