N/A Background: We have investigated whether xenograft of the pancreatic islets encapsulated in hollow fiber (Amicon, H1P 30~43 type) could normalize blood glucose levels and could secrete insulin normally in perifusion system. Method: Mice (ICR) made diabetic with 180 mg/kg streptozotocin were intraperitoneally transplanted with encapsulated rat pancreatic islets, Hollow fibers (Amicon, H1P30~43 type, nominal cutoff MW; 30,000) have been used for encapsulation of rat islet cells. Result: Rat islets in the hollow fibers secreted insulin normaly in perifusion system. Xenograft of rat islets in the hollow fibers produced and maintained temporarily normoglycemia in the recipient mice. Conclusion: These results suggest that xenograft of rat islets in the hollow fibers need further study for biocompatability, transplantation site, and islet cell counts.
임베디드 시스템에서 보안 데이터 전송의 전력 사용량 및 오버헤드 분석

대부분의 임베디드 시스템들은 유선 및 무선 네트워크에 연결되어 있으며 이들이 생성하는 데이터는 개인, 기관, 또는 국가에 상당히 중요한 정보일 수 있다. 따라서 통신 시 보안에 대한 요구는 향후 더욱 크게 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 임베디드 시스템에서의 또 다른 중요한 요구사항 중의 하나는 저전력 특성이다. 따라서 중요 데이터의 안전한 전송을 위한 암호화 및 복호화 그리고 네트워크 프로토콜 스택의 수행에 따른 전력 사용량 정보는 차세대 저전력 임베디드 시스템을 설계 및 개발하기 위해서 필수적으로 요구될 것이다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 단편적인 전력 사용량만을 분석하고 있다. 본 논문은 보안 데이터를 위한 암호화, 복호화, 그리고 데이터 송수신을 위한 네트워크 프로토콜 스택의 수행에 걸리는 전력 사용량과 오버헤드를 함께 측정하고 분석한다. 측정 결과 3DES 기반의 암호화 및 복호화 작업 동안의 전력 사용량이 TCP/IP 통신을 위한 전력 사용량 보다 데이터 크기가 증가함에 따라 더욱 크게 측정되었다. 해당 작업의 수행 오버헤드 역시 유사한 성향을 보였다. 그리고 프로세서 코어의 전력 사용량은 시스템 전체 사용량의 10~22% 정도를 차지하는 것으로 측정되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 임베디드 시스템에서 저전력 보안 데이터 전송을 위해 고려할 사항들을 정량적으로 제시하여 해당 연구 분야에 기여할 수 있다.
Introduction of new health technology assesment system in Korean, especially easy tip to clinician

Health technology assessment (HTA) was first introduced to Korea at early 2000s and from 2007 the system was organized and the application of a rule was started. At starting time, the primary action agency was health insurance review and assessment service (HIRA) and few years later the new agency for evidence based medicine, national evidence based healthcare collaborating agency (NECA), was started in Korea. So the members involved HTA in HIRA were moved to NECA and the works were performed in NECA. New health technology assessment (nHTA) system is exist for introducing new health technology to medical field in Korea. The practical approach methods for nHTA are introducing in this session, and especially easy way to the clinician. However, as the wise saying, no gains without pains.
HCI에 의한 식도염에서 식도와 하부활약근의 점막과 근육세포의 염증변화

The underlying mechanism by which the reflux of gastric juice elicits oesophagitis remains unclear. To inverttigate iidlammatory response to HCI in tissue of esophagus and lower esophageal sphincter, experimental esophagitis was elicited by perfusion of 0.1 N HCI in cats. There was no difference in phospholipase A2 (PLA2) activity of tissue between control and esophagitis. Myeloperoxidase activity in esophagitis was significantly greater than that of control. However, his- tamine content in esophageal mucosa of esophagitis was significantly smaller than that of control. These findings suggest that inflammatory response to HCI in esophagitis is related to changes of myeloperoxidase activity and histamine rather than change of PLA2 activity.

The purpose of this study is to examine how demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence differ according to the major and major satisfaction of undergraduates having a major related to physical education and how demand for NCS-based job training influences their job-preparing competence. The subjects of this study are 430 undergraduates having a major related to physical education in K University and C University located in Gyeonggi. To process data, SPSS 23.0 was utilized, and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, the independent sample t-test, and multiple regression analysis were done. Through the procedure, this author has gained following results. First, regarding the difference of demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence according to their major, all the subfactors except for recognition on efficient institutions indicate significant difference. Second, concerning the difference of demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence according to their major satisfaction, all the subfactors show significant difference. Third, among the factors of demand for NCS-based job training, the program factor significantly influences all the factors of job-preparing competence, confidence in job information, effort for career preparation, and recognition on the area of aptitude.
