마황복합추출물이 고지방식이로 유발된 비만생쥐의 혈청지질 및 조직학적 변화에 미치는 영향

This study was conducted by histopathology and histomorphology to examined that anti-obesity effects of mixed water extract of Mahwangbokhap on liver and epididymal fat tissues in obese mice with high–fat diet. The extracts of Mahwangbokhap were significantly inhibited the body weight gain of obese mice induced by high fat diet. In addition, liver weight, fat around the epididymal, and fat around the kidney were significantly reduced. Serum lipids such as Total cholesterol, LDL-cholesteol and Total lipid were significantly decreased in the high-fat diet, but the serum adiponectin level was significantly increased. Glucose and insulin levels in obese mice induced by high-fat diet were significantly reduced. As a result, It was suggested that the extract of Mahwangbokhap extract is effective for improving obesity in obese mice induced by high-fat diet. Dietary effect of soyfiber beni-koji (SBK) with chitosan-ascorbate (CA) on the level of serum lipids in rats fed a high fat diet was investigated The experimental groups which were divided into high fat diet control group(HC-group), $2\%\;SBK+0.1\%$ CA mixture diet group(CA1-group), $2\%\;SBK+0.15\%$ CA mixture diet group(CA2-group), and $2\%\;SBK+0.2\%$ CA mixture diet group (CA2-group) were fed for 4 weeks. Weight gains in CA2- and CA3-group were $5.3\%\;and\;9.5\%$ lower than that of HC-group, respectively, while there was no significant difference in feed intakes, feed efficiency ratio and organs weight Level of serum triglyceride in $C_3-group\;was\;21\%$ lower than that of HC-group. Level of serum total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol in CA2- and CA3-group were $22.1\~22.7\%\;and\;58.6\~64.3\%$ lower than those of HC-group, respectively. Atherogenic index decreased with the higher level of CA. Level of lipid peroxide in CA3-group was $24\%$ lower than that of HC-group, while there was no significant difference in GSH(Glutathione-S-transferase) content O type activities of XOD(xanthine oxidase) in the treated groups were lower, especially the activity in CA3-group was $51.6\%$ lower than that of HC-group. Also, O/T ratio of XOD was lower, showing $21.7\~23.5\%$ in treated groups and $34.0\%$ in HC-group(p<0.05). GST activities were 332.52 units in HC-group and $350.28\~355.63$ units in the treated groups, but there were no significant differences among them.
소나무 재생버섯(Fomitopsis pinicola Jeseng) 다당류의 추출 특성

This study was conducted to investigate the extraction characteristics of the polysaccharide from Jeseng mushroom (Fomitopsis pinicola Jeseng). Yields of the polysaccharide extracted from powdered mushroom by autoclaving(120, 30 min) with water at different pH and salt concentration were 8.2~9.2% in pH 5~11, 4.7~5.5% in 1.5% salt solution, respectively. The yield by the 0.05~1.0 N KOH-extraction was ranged 3.45~13.20%, while that by HAS-extraction(homogenizing after KOH swelling) using 1~2.5 N KOH 73.6~78.4%. Content of carbohydrate, protein, lipid and ash of the crude polysaccharide extracted from fruits body and its cultured mycelium by method of water extraction, KOH extraction(0.005~1N) and HAS-extraction were ranged 86.5~92.6%, 2.3~13.1%, 0.1~4.2% and 0.1~1.7%, respectively. The polysaccharide were composed of 62.0~77.8 g/g of pentose, 138.0~187.8 g/g of hexose and 21.2~117.3 ㎎/g of protein. From these results, the polysaccharide extracted was supposed to be a protein-bound polysaccharide.
