Purpose : The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of additional isometric contraction of trunk, shoulder, and hip muscles during abdominal crunch exercise on abdominal muscle thickness and to identify the most effective intervention for core muscle activation. Methods : This study was conducted on 22 healthy male adults. Subjects performed three types of crunch exercises (abdominal crunches accompanied by internal and external isometric rotation of the hip, horizontal shoulder adduction and abduction, and rotation of the trunk). The thickness of the transverse abdominis (TrA), internal oblique (IO), and external oblique (EO) were evaluated using ultrasonography. The collected data used one-way repeated ANOVA statistics. Wilcoxon signed-rank test of nonparametric statistics was used for post-test analysis. Results : The IO thickness was significantly lower than general abdominal crunch when shoulder adduction was added (p<.05). The crunch with shoulder abduction, hip external rotation, and ipsilateral trunk rotation was significantly higher than the abdominal crunch (p<.05). The EO thickness was significantly greater in the crunch with hip external rotation than in the abdominal crunch (p<.05). Conclusion : The level of contraction in abdominal muscles appears to vary when isometric contractions of the trunk, shoulder, and hip muscles are added to the abdominal crunch exercise. Therefore, the use of isometric contractions of other joints to selectively induce contraction of the abdominal muscles may be considered.

본 연구는 경북 영천시 보현산(북위 36° 08-09’, 동경 128° 57-59’, 해발고도 1,124 m)에 자생하는 식물의 분포를 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 2012년 3월부터 2014년 7월까지 총 22회에걸쳐 조사된 관속식물은 총 105과 327속 522종 11아종 48 종 8품종 589분류군으로 정리되었다. 한국고유종으로는 13분류군, 환경부지정 법적관리 보호식물Ⅱ급이 2분류군, 적색목록식물이 10분류군, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 5등급이 5분류군, 4등급은 5분류군, 3등급은 16분류군, 2등급은 20분류군, 1등급은37분류군, 귀화식물이 37분류군으로 나타났다. 용도별 구성은식용 240분류군(40.7%), 약용 205분류군(34.8%), 관상용 62분류군(10.5%), 목초용 213분류군(36.2%), 목재용 15분류군(2.5%), 섬유용 8분류군(1.3%), 공업용 3분류군(0.5%)으로 나타났다. This study was carried out to investigate the vascular plants of Mt. Bohyeon (Gyeongbuk). The vascular plants were collected 22 times and summarized as 589 taxa, including 105 families, 327 genera, 522 species, 11 subspecies, 48 varieties and 8 forms respectively. Among them, 13 Korean endemics, 10 red list of vascular plants, 2 endangered plants and 83 specially designated plants by the Ministry of Environment were included respectively. The naturalized plants were 37 taxa and the naturalized ratio was 6.41 of 589 taxa. Usage of 589 taxa were consists of 240 taxa (40.1%) of edible plants, 205 taxa (34.2%) of medicinal plants, 62 taxa (10.3%) of ornamental plants, 213 taxa (35.6%) of pasture plants, 15 taxa (2.5%) of timber plants, 8 taxa (1.3%) of fiberplants, and 3 taxa (0.5%) of industrial plants.
퇴계와 다산의 종교적 욕망 - 칸트와 라캉을 地圖삼아 -

The purpose of this essay is to reexamine the anthropological insight of Toegye and Dasan from the standpoint of the issue of “desire”, adopting Kant and Lacan as a map. In so doing, I will pay special attention to the “religious desire”. Religion can be defined as a culture system which pursuits to use vigilance against the excess of desire or to extinguish desire itself by various myth, dogma, ritual, and taboo system in association with any ultimate or transcendental being. However, there actually exists a “desire for salvation” behind the religious practices. In this sense, we can say that the religious desire in the most pure ways is just a “territory” of the deepest desire, though not being seen on the “map” of desire. I will investigate the territory of that religious desire centering on the concepts such as not only Toegye’s “Pure Goodness”(純善) and “Issuance of Li”(理發)’ but also Dasan’s “Inclination”(嗜好) and “Heaven”(天). In conclusion, this essay will show that the main intention in both Toegye and Dasan is to attain “spirituality of desire” differing from religion in denying any monopoly of truth with high recognition of human weaknesses, and that both the two are thinkers who have introduced the spiritual dimension of desire into ethics as Kant and Lacan did so. 본고의 목적은 ‘욕망’의 문제에 입각하여 칸트와 라캉을 매개로 퇴계와 다산의 인간학적 통찰력을 재고하는 데에 있다. 이때 본고는 특히 ‘종교적 욕망’에 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 종교는 궁극적이고 초월적인 존재와 관련된 신화, 교의, 의례 및 다양한 금기체제에 의해 욕망의 과잉을 경계하거나 혹은 욕망 자체의 소멸을 추구하는 문화체계인데, 실제 그 배후에는 항상 불가시적인 ‘구원에의 욕망’이 작동하고 있다. 가장 순수한 형태의 종교적 욕망이야말로 ‘지도’에는 잘 보이지 않지만 인간의 가장 심층적인 욕망의 ‘지형’이라 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 퇴계의 ‘순선’과 ‘리발’ 그리고 다산의 ‘기호’와 ‘하늘’ 개념을 중심으로 그런 종교적 욕망의 지형에 관해 고찰할 것이다. 그럼으로써 결론적으로 본고는 퇴계와 다산의 지향점이 인간의 취약성에 대한 깊은 인식을 통해 궁극적으로 진리의 독점을 인정하지 않는다는 점에서 종교와 구별되는 ‘욕망의 영성’에 도달하고자 하는 데에 있었음을, 그리고 퇴계와 다산은 칸트와 라캉과 마찬가지로 욕망의 영성적 차원을 윤리에 도입한 사상가라는 점을 보여주고자 한다.
